✓ Not worth the moneyI finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase the three apps from meteo group. Come to find out, I might as well have stuck with the free Wundermap, since putting money down on an app wasn't enough. I'm expected to pay for a monthly or yearly subscription. Available data is very limited without the subscription. But it's all included in the app but just doesn't do anything but pop up a window to remind you what your purchase didn't pay for. ✓ There are many other better apps availableThis would be an ok app if it were free, but it's definitely not worth the high price. It has, in the basic app, a very, very limited number of maps. The US radar is very poor quality, and the satellite map is fairly low resolution. There are many other apps that provide more and better content fir less, or even free. Even though I paid for this app, I wound up deleting it fairly quickly. It's just not worth the space on my iPad..Version: 2.0
✓ $5 for a neutered app that requires me to then buy basic functionalityI can't believe I just wasted $5 on this. Basic weather app functionality like being able to see various layers on the map is not included. You have to buy it. Plus you can't zoom in very closely. Terrible waste of money. ✓ Unhappy - one subscription per device.I think that this is a great app, however I was also very disappointed and annoyed to find out that I now needed to pay the premium annual subscription of £8.99 twice - once for my iPad and again for my iPhone. This had not happened in previous years. ✓ Terrible replacement for MeteoEarthI have used MeteoEarth for years in a business which requires weather dependent decisions. sadly it has been discontinued and replaced with this utterly worthless app. bad graphics, terrible interface, poor presentation of data. and whats worse is I paid for a years subscription to MeteoEarth before this change, so Ive been ripped off. ✓ Not so goodNot so good as it can to be. I want to see current weather data, but it is well visible in portrait mode only, not in landscape - you have to find it. I want to see only one place, so how can I hide the right bar on weather screen? I don't need to see forecast one week to the future - probability is very low, but I can see at least two days in the past. Why it isn't possible? Sorry, I'm dissappointed. ✓ Pro Subscriber for years, but reconsidering …Was the best weather app for some time. Still has some great features, but it has developed a major flaw, which I’ve reported and they have recognised as an “issue”. The flaw is that the frames are consistently dropping on the live feed screens as you approach current time. And it’s not just the iPad. Same on my iPhone. Shame as I used it daily. ✓ Premium doesn’t update to devicesEvery year I pay to renew premium and every year it fails to restore premium to my I pad despite me paying the subscription. I only have two devices my I pad and my I phone. It updates on the I phone but not on the I pad so I have to contact support every year to put it right. As of today despite paying the premium subscription, my I pad has not updated the new subscription and I have lost all the premium data, which I have paid for a week ago. Not very good really when other add on purchases on other apps work fine for both devices when subscription is paid for..Version: 4.4.5
✓ What a disappointment!!Not sure why this is so highly rated. It is actually anything else but "Pro" and should be called "Light" at best. If you are not willing to cough-up the extra $6 for "premium" it is actually very basic information you have access to. Most of the screenshots being shown on iTunes are Premium features only. The price for this "very basic PRO" version is far too high and there are actually better apps providing the same or more information available for free. FINGERS OFF !! ... ✓ Worthless if you want alerts from NWSThis app does not have the alerts from the national weather service in the US. . The alerts are if it gets too cold or it’s going to rain too much. ✓ Woefully inaccurate in my area. Your mileage may varyI’ve been using this app for a number of years. It’s well thought out and features plenty of useful information. I even started paying the subscription, when that was introduced, to receive more detailed . However, certainly in my area, it’s woefully inaccurate compared to other, less flashy, apps such as the UK Metoffice app. It’s especially bad when rain showers are forecast that day. It can start raining and the app doesn’t even show rain or shows a very low probability. To add to the insult it’s sometimes retrospectively updated to show rain when, in fact, it’s already started to rain. In comparison the Metoffice App is far more reliable as a predictor of the weather outlook over the next few hours. To give just one example this evening it started to rain. The Metoffice shows an 80% chance of rain during the current period whereas WeatherPro shows a 1% chance. I mean where are they getting their forecasts from?!!!!!!!!!!!.Version: 4.4.5
✓ Fails on cloud coverWeather Pro is a very useful app, but it’s most irritating feature is it’s inability to distinguish between cloud cover and sunshine. We’ve had several days recently where the app shows full sunshine and it’s been cloudy all day. Today is another one of those days. ✓ Still some bugsOverall, this is a good app, but it has an obvious bug: when you click on a day to get the detail, the results come up for the following date. I still can't tell if I should click on Friday to get Saturdays weather or if the data is right and just mis-labeled. Seems like it should be an easy bug to fix and I'm surprised they haven't. Also, as noted by others, you can't see radar for your specific area, only the region..Version: 0

✓ Premium Is A RipoffFor premium you used to get several really useful other apps as well as WeatherPro. But they have withdrawn some other apps and don't seem to support others (eg frequently show out of date information). But Premium is the same price but for a lot less functionality. ✓ Really DisappointedThis year I paid my update prescription via my iPhone, but unlike previous years, it didn’t update the the iPad subscription, so thinking it would do the usual, when I sanctioned, the payment - say ‘you have already paid this subscription’ and updated without further cost - it’s gone and charged me AGAIN. Needless to say - I’m not too happy about this (in fact I’m mad as hell)! I wonder if I’d have updated the subs on the iPad first, it would have still double charged me when I attempted to update the phone? Updated predictions throughout the day often do little to improve the accuracy and bizarrely, updated weather includes even updating the days weather that already passed (presumably to make it appear accurate!) and even the gets the weather that was ACTUALLY EXPERIENCED wrong, now thats quite a special talent. ✓ Completely underwhelmed; avoid this app, totally overpricedThis app is wildly overpriced and just doesn't deliver much. Please save your money. The other weather apps I have show far more detail including satellite and radar info locally, not just on a broad map. Unless I'm missing something I don't see any of the same detail. And those apps cost very little or were free. Somehow with the premium price I mistakenly thought that this would be far better and provide much more information and detail than i was already accustomed to receiving. Sadly, I was mistaken and am completely disappointed. It provides far less. It's bare bones. Where's the beef? Not here. Also, there seems to be a bug (or is it supposed to be a feature?). ✓ Some pros but more consI really like the data charting for local and favorite sites but beyond that here in Florida where there can be thunderstorm bands less than half a mile away while sunny at home the radar resolution is in adequate. Then, when it comes to monitoring hurricane alley and especially tracking multiple tropical disturbances, depressions, and cyclones, this app totally disappoints. And come on folks. What is all this confusion about additional fees and multiple version registration? I obviously was mistaken in believing that I had purchased a complete product. ✓ Acquisitions and Mergers…It’s still perfectly usable and accurate, but as you’ll find things are starting to drop off and cease to function on a regular basis. The premium weather forecast video is for July 2020! It appears what has happened is that Meteo Deutschland were acquired by a company called DTN. This organisation provides data for the farming community, amongst other things. So I think it is unlikely they are not going to be too interested in the likes of you and I checking to see if we need a scarf on or not when we venture out. My guess is that Weatherpro HD is being wound down in favour of better, more profitable things. So I’ll leave you to decide weather you take out another subscription. ✓ What’s going on ??Once upon a time this was a great app, but just recently seems to be really losing itself. The radar maps frequently show different weather to what we are getting (dramatically so sometimes) and much of the 'premium' content is woefully out of date (currently Feb 2021, showing precipitation for July 2020 !!). And what’s with the pricing for the premium service anyway ? £1.99 for three month or £8.00 for a year ?? Ok, I know it’s only 4p, but you would expect a years sub to be less than paying quarterly, though the way the app is deteriorating, maybe that’s just as well 😟.Version: 4.4.5
✓ Need a better interface...Interface is archaic... How about trends as an alternate view and more focus on current day and current week... The drill down seems flipped to me... Maybe a profile choice to determine what your view pref is, not just ordering what the sequence of weather, temp, etc. is... Also map enlargement, resolution of expanded images is terrible, on my iPad Air with Retina display ... Always fuzzy when I try to enlarge in any way (like dbl tap)... ✓ Looking out the window was more accurate!!I have used Weather Pro for years now and had the Met app running along side to compare. Weather Pro was very accurate in comparison. But now it is hard to get the app to run smoothly, the radar screens are not complete and flash as they run, and other times the app changes to show how much rain or snow has fallen after the event. ✓ Please bring back the previous version.I have been a long time subscriber to this app and (in the past) I have not hesitated to recommend it to friends. However, the current version has a serious bug: it has about a one hour gap in the map data (rainfall, cloud, lightning, etc.) at the current time … just the very time you need the most accurate data! ✓ Not good for OttawaIt hasn't been very good predicting the weather for Ottawa, or even giving the same day forecast. It seems to be incorrect every day now. I look outside and its pouring with rain and Weather Pro is saying its sunny with not a cloud in the sky. Give me a break! And the lack of radar is a serous omission. Disappointing as the UI is decent. And as usual, the developer does not respond to emails. These guys really need to get their act together if they want to charge for this thing :-( The success of a weather app is how well it states the current weather and a reasonable prediction of upcoming weather - this app fails on both counts!.Version: 0
