✓ Shift Days is now a scam. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!I originally paid 4.99 for the app pro version and had access to the whole year it was wonderful simple and easy however now it tells me to pay for the pro which I did a year ago and all this time I had access to the whole year, had vacation days, shifts and appointments already stored for all of 2020. So today I go in the app to add a schedule change and now it asks for me to pay 4.99 for the "pro" version to see more than one month!! Why was my access taken away and now my dates and scheduled shifts that I already put in for 2020 the whole year are being held hostage. This is maddening. So shift days I will be giving my money to another app they does much more than your. Please do NOT purchase this app it is now a scam!!!.Version: 1.81.7

✓ 2.5 years of data lost, emails not responded toPRO version user. My 2.5 years worth of data and customised shifts (that alone took about 2-3hrs to enter initially and get organised) have been lost/erased about 3 weeks ago. Just opened the app and it was blank - no rotations shown, no pre-set shifts. Like, everything gone completely. I also had overtime records and references for these last 2.5 years on it, which is probably the biggest issue as far as lost data goes for me. Emails to the support have been ignored. I’ve got the iCloud back up enabled, however I’m not sure how to make it work - I’ve deleted the app and restored via the App Store, restores the purchase but that hasn’t worked so far. If not for this issue, I’d give the app solid 3-4 stars, as it worked for me (I have an 11 week shift pattern where there are different shifts daily) and I liked the interface..Version: 1.81.7
✓ Not bad but glitchesThe app is ok and looks good, but I’ve bought the app for my phone and my wife’s and every so often it moves my roster and notes by one day so everything is out by a day which is really annoying, especially when I have to rewrite all my notes back onto the correct dates. If I don’t notice it’s changed then I get appointments and events wrong, so what’s the point of this app when that’s happening. I’ve contacted this developer before about the issue and they don’t respond. I wouldn’t waste your money buying this app if your after a calendar that works...Version: 1.81.7

✓ Not paying twiceIf I could give this zero star I would. Greedy app developers. Greedy. I have been using this app for 4 years. When I first downloaded it I paid for all the extra features. I loved this app. I am on a 28 day schedule that i get a years schedule in advance. I was always able to plan dr. appointments and family stuff around my work months in advance. It was great. I updated my phone the other day and now I can’t see November or December. Now it’s a monthly subscription to see that far in advance even though I ALREADY BOUGHT THE APP. My only complaint is that I have paid for the pro version of this app twice and now I’ve upgraded my phone again I’m expected to pay for it a 3rd time!!!! ✓ Would be a very good app if the iCloud sync workedApp is easy to use and appeared to do the job I needed it to do. It is fairly intuitive to use and I would’ve rated it 4 stars. However, my main reason for paying for the upgraded version was to have my shift pattern in my calendar. Unfortunately this has never worked despite trying every combination of settings to sync it with my calendar. Even with the latest version of iOS, it still doesn’t work. ✓ Do Not Upgrade.. !I’ve been using the basic version of this app for a while and liking it. I finally decided to upgrade to add more shift and customize it. When I went back to check after a week or so, my new created Shifts were gone and the old ones ( 6months ago) were the ones left replacing the calendar I made for the new shifts. In short, it’s a total mess! I deleted them on the “SHIFT” but they are still in the CALENDAR. Omg! I liked this being so straightforward and user friendly scheduling… now I just have to delete it. ✓ App developmentReally like the app (would have given 4 stars) I paid for the Pro upgrade and have used it for a couple years now. Despite its neat looks and ease to understand (it’s widget is great for quick reference) after all this time the app hasn’t changed. Other apps are available now that have many more features that I’d really like to see implemented here (ability to incorporate wage, print out rota planners and generate reports to track annual leave etc, Apple Watch support) but as it stands the app remains the same leaving me to consider if I should pay for another that performs a similar job but better. For this reason it gets 3 stars, as I don’t think this should be the case and I would like to see the money I paid being invested into developing this app further than what it was initially..Version: 1.81.7
✓ Great until it deletedI’ve used a few of these apps but this was probably the best to suit me. You can put more than one shift in per day, it was cleat & easy to read. Also easy to input without making mistakes. However one day it was deleted? Not sure why or if I had made this mistake myself but seemed to coincide with an update. ✓ Desperately needs an updateThis used to be the best ap but it is currently in desperate need of an update. I can no longer access with ease. Often when I click on the ap it comes up blank which is very frustrating when your software is up to date and you have paid the extra $$ for the full version. ✓ Great appI have to say this app is great in a basic form, I paid £4.99 to use the pro version and for me that amount is worth the convenience it gives me. I can see my shifts at a glance and input them quickly and easily, it syncs to my iPad and I can share my shifts with friends for a whole month when we are trying to plan something but want to find a day/evening we’re all free. The downside to this is that the iPad version doesn’t allow landscape mode who’s is annoying as I use a keyboard with mine (not the biggest problem in the world, but would be a nice feature) Also would be great if there was some Alexa/google home intervention or being able to sync with google calendar at least, the convenience of asking your voice assistants you next shift would be a great feature, some other apps do this so I think shift days could move with the times on this front. Other aspects of the app work fine for me, as I’m a paying member I get plenty of tiles but something I think would be helpful is the addition of manager, supervisor tabs as sometimes you need to know who the duty manager on shift is without having to type everyday in notes, generally there’s 3 shifts a day, open, middle and close. Shift days, I really like your app but it’s a little basic in features compared to some others, you have a good product but it can be a great with a few more features..Version: 1.81.7

There is no way to combine shifts from two different calendars. No point is trying to inform each other via the app who has what shift if we can’t see each other’s. ✓ Good, but missing the same features as every other shift work app!!!!!!Free version is pretty good, straightforward, and visually appealing. However, this app is missing the same thing that every other shift work calendar app is missing- When I work a 12 hours night shift, say, 6pm-6am, I wish the calendar showed the shift as 'straddling' 2 days. For example, if I start on Jan 1st at 6pm and work a 12 hour night shift, I wish it showed the shift as occurring on both the 1st and the 2nd! This would be especially useful on the tail end of a night shift block. When I start my last 12 hour night shift I am not technically off work until the day after I started the shift, so what I see on the calendar is technically incorrect with the current app settings. Please fix this! Shift workers often work 1 shift that occur on 2 concurrent days of the month!!.Version: 1.82.1
✓ GOOD, BUT….This is a good shift calendar that works really very well, however I work a very complex shift pattern that continues on through the years ad-Infinitum and this is where Shift Days falls down for me…. Once set up, I’d like my complex shift to continue to run indefinitely but it doesn’t, and after a period of time I have to go through the whole set-up process again albeit after 18 months or so ( I forget how long it is until it needs refreshing) I don’t find the set up process particularly intuitive either, and because of the complexity of my shift (which is a repeating pattern) the process of reinstalling the shift pattern is a horrendous PIA. My other gripe is only a small one, but links to my point about it not being very intuitive is that to bring up any ‘events’ the + symbol and tick symbol are at the top of the screen, and the events list is at the bottom - no big deal but in my opinion is far from an ergonomic layout.Version: 1.82.1
✓ Perfect but…..This is the perfect shift calendar. Easy to use. I love the color coding. I can see my month at quick glance. It is easy to make changes as my shift often changes with the staffing needs of my job. The only problem I have with it is my need to share it with my wife. I know it shares but it is a static share. I need something that both my wife and I can have on our phones and make adjustments to in real time. I’m often unavailable to talk during a shift and my wife needs to add important appointments or plans to my shift calendar in real time for me to see. The ability to add this feature would be worth its weight in gold!!!! This feature would eliminate much miscommunication and frustration between us as we work to overcome scheduling conflicts. I can’t find a shift calendar that is great as yours that has the ability for more than one user. Please help and consider adding this feature. ✓ Painful to edit.It’s decent but hard to edit. I like that I can add my schedule and my hubby’s schedule. ✓ ShiftsI just added this to my phone I thought it would go well with all the nursing homes I work in. But I’m having trouble with the shifts. It is only allowing me to add two different shift time frames. But I work many shifts at different times of the day and it keeps changing all of my other times when I try to enter a new time frame. I’m sure it’s just that I’m new to this app. I need to get the hang of it. ✓ GlitchesI have found that not only is the powering up time extortionate, the app glitches quite often. The one that annoys me the most is trying to write a memo on a particular date, and whilst I’m typing it, it will glitch onto the 1st of that month and leave the memo there. In order to get it on the date you want you have to open the memo and type one letter, save it and then go back and edit it. I use the memo features a lot for locations etc for my appointments and it’s rather tedious. It has also on other occasions not put a shift on a date despite trying multiple times and I have to close the app and reopen it. It also doesn’t sync well if you transfer onto a new phone. I had to redo all my stuff when I upgraded to a new iPhone two years ago and would likely have to do the same when I upgrade again in the next month. I hope that it’ll improve by then. I like the app and use it every day but it needs improving. I only put 1 stat to have it get noticed by the app developers, really I’d give it a 4 or 5.Version: 1.81.1

✓ Missing somethingThe app is pretty good. I teach at 6 schools for a board of education. I needed a way to track where I went what days, what times, and add notes. I've adapted the intention of the shifts for the schools and it's worked well! The feature I feel is missing is an option to export the complete calendar. Exporting to with Apple calendar or Google calendar would be amazing. That way I integrate the rest of my life's scheduling with my work schedule. Please please add full, proper exporting rather than just sharing. It would make the in-app purchase cost feel way more worth it if it were to integrate with a regular calendar. The annoying problem I have on a regular basis is when I try to add a note to a specific date, for some reason it writes the note into the 1st of the month, even though I’d selected a different date. ✓ Cannot separate shift rotationsThis app was great when I only had to keep track of my shift rotation, but now that my spouse works shifts too, I cannot differentiate our shift rotations. ✓ Improvement neededI’ve been using this app for a few months and I have to say it’s very useful, and easy to use. However, I’d like to see the ability to see more than 2 tabs shown and the ability to mark days as pay days. I like to keep track of my work days in addition to days Im paid an hour or so for lunch, or days that I call out sick (with or without pay), taken off (paid or without pay). And a tab to keep track of any overtime I’ve done and saved toward vacation, and keeps track of what I’ve used. Lots of different improvements for different types of work. ✓ Is there a way to stop the sync between devices?I have had this app for quite a while, and it is on my iPhone and my iPad, however my schedule is on my phone, while my husbands is on the iPad so I can quickly see when he's working, etc. We recently bought a new iPad and got rid of the old one, but when I loaded the app and put his schedule onto it, the app added both schedules together and now it's just a massive jumble of shifts on both devices. ✓ A bit too basic.This Shift calendar is hands down the simplest to navigate and use. Shifts, and shift rotations, are scheduled and altered in a breeze, and it is very convenient to be able to add notes to each date. It is also very practical that multiple shifts can be scheduled for each date. The problem is that the $4.99 upgrade is a bit much for these basic features; and nothing but a preview seems to be available without the upgrade. Other comparable apps, I.e. Pay Day, are available at 1/2 this price and offer more features... granted, I've not found one, as yet, that offers the ease of schedule editing by use of "drag and drop". The app would surely be worth its price if it included pay calculations and a summary report..Version: 1.71
