✓ Great app, but we don’t like the new narratorThe app is awesome and we love the interaction. Really well done! However, we are not a fan of the new narrator. ✓ Not original narratorAnyone who knows this story knows the narration in the animated movie is the only true narration. So disappointed to hear someone trying to do a knock off version. It totally throws the feel of the story off. Put me out of the Christmas spirit. If you have kids, just stick to he old animated classic. Or better yet, read them the story. ✓ Why did you change the narrator!?My special needs child loves the Dr S treasury & these read & play apps. No joke, I think they get listened to at least 10x a day. If not more. But recently the narrator got switched for the Grinch Read & Play (which is kiddo’s favorite) and it was horrible! The new narrator is not nearly as good as the old one & there was no reason to change this. Please please change the narrator to the old one!!!!.MommasKHVersion: 4.0.13

✓ Fun Activities but Narrator is Annoying...I downloaded this app for my son as the Grinch is currently his favorite story. The illustrations are exactly the same as the book and are animated which is great. There are some decent settings as you can turn some functions on and off, however I almost requested a refund due to the narration of the story to be extremely annoying. If I knew it was going to be that bad, I would not have downloaded it. The original narration by Boris Karloff is a classic, this is an instant flop. I really hope for the next update (If any) they replace the narration. ✓ It is the Grinch...It's the Grinch so of course it's a good book but it's not read by Boris Karloff which is a little weird. When you've heard him do it so many times you can recite it yourself it's difficult to get used to someone else reading it ;-). But the app has some cute interactive things throughout it (both animated on the book pages and a few puzzles/games that bring you out of the book.). So overall it's a cute book app but I think Boris is too tied to the Grinch to have someone else read it (I'm sure there are enough recordings of him doing it to make it work.).NLP1031Version: 4.0.6
