✓ Not a finished app...My university recently switched to ETA Spot as the app used to track its busses, and all just say, ETA Spot does not feel finished. Poorly optimized, confusing, glitchy, and just overall it feels like a demo app. It's functional (sometimes) but nowhere near the same level as other bus tracking apps..Version: 2.2.11
✓ Does not perform its jobThis app is definitely not user friendly. There is little to no info about bus schedule represented on the map, and the schedule that exists online is not kept by busses. This is a fault of the public transportation system in my area, but the app could reflect changes in schedule by indicating a bus is however many minutes off schedule. Busses disappear off the app randomly and there is no indication of when or if they will reappear. Truly frustrating to use, and including wait time, trips consistently take upwards of an hour to complete what should be a 5-10 minute drive. Do not recommend..Version: 2.2.16
✓ Missing BussesAt DFW airport many busses don’t appear in the app. They drive the routes yet don’t appear in the app. This happens mostly in the mornings. They’re either turning off their gps or they’re not installed. The app is useless unless all their busses are compliant..Version: 2.2.10

✓ This can’t be real.Our bus system just switched from Double Map to this app and literally… what is this…? You have to reselect the maps you want visible EVERY TIME you open the app, there’s no way to know which direct the busses are going so if your route goes back and fourth then good luck knowing where the busses are without physically waiting to see them move on the map. The interface itself looks like I could have programmed it, which is saying a lot about how bad it is…..Version: 2.2.16
✓ Whoever developed this needs a new careerWhy my school switched to this app is beyond me (probably cheaper) anyways this app is super glitchy, usually only one feature loads at a time and if you’re lucky and get them all at once the buses are still not timed right. I usually just wait at the bus stop and hope for the best because that’s usually better than using this god forsaken app..Version: 2.2.11
✓ Great function potential, Horrible visualsMy school has just begun using this app. While I love that there is ETA capability, bus capacity monitoring, and many other features, it looks terrible visually. ✓ This app is genuine garbageIf you do not have perfect wifi then you will not be able to use this app. Nothing will load and you will be stranded. ✓ No arrows to show direction bus is goingPlease, update the app to show the direction but it’s going along a particular route. You practically need to wait for the bus to move before you can find out but it takes time to update the movement in real time..Version: 2.2.11
✓ D North tracking gone?Are use this app every day to find out where the buses are so I don’t lose my mind waiting and for some odd reason I can no longer track any buses going to and from the D north parking lot. ✓ I use this app for getting to schoolThe Apps tracking of the buses is good but it will not load half the time to tell me where the bus is or when it will arrive. Needs an update or two. Hopefully this gets fixed soon I’ve heard many other people having a hard time. Thanks!.Version: 2.2.16
✓ I see why this app has two starsI looked on the app to verify if the train was on time or on the right track but it showed that it’d be more than two hours delayed with no train on the track. However, the train was on time but after getting on the train the app still was not updated to reflect the route the train was on. Your best bet it’s to arrive to the station on time and wait for special announcements or messages. 😕.Version: 2.2.11
✓ The worst bus appThis app doesnt show the current location of the bus, but lastly visited station. Often returns empty screen, and never save user’s setting. Also doesn’t show the direction of the bus, so users have to stare the screen for few mins to figure out the direction until it changes the location (actually location of stations).Version: 2.2.16
✓ Terrible on every levelMy university switched to this godforsaken app from a decent one (not a good one, they can’t pick a good one to save their lives) but this app is so much worse on every level. Here’s how: - it will not remember your preferred routes. Each time you open the app it defaults to the first ONE on the top of the list. Useless favorites feature - the UI is the most confusing and awful thing to work with. Buttons are small or not even real buttons at all, if they are they don’t actually do anything. - favorites cannot be accessed easily, even if you favorite a stop you cannot favorite a route so you have to scroll through 20+ routes each time to find the ones relevant to you and if you’re at a location in which you’re not sure as to which routes stop nearby, you have to turn on ALL of them to find one. The local stops are not shown with associated routes. - the app itself is laggy and has crashed on me (new iPhone 12+) - the time shown for the arrivals are comedic at best, completely worthless at their worst. - (not sure if this is a fault of the university or the app) all 3 of my campuses bus hubs are shown with one stop despite the three stops housing routes that go in OPPOSITE directions so when tapping on the one stop provided you see EVERY route AND every secondary and sometimes tertiary bus on that route. Impossible to find a bus back home sometimes..Version: 2.2.11
✓ This app may be a virusThis app uses GB of data in a week. That is not right! It has affected my bill and I barely use it. VERY concerned. It is either a bug or they are using your phone as a hotspot to share data with others (which is a crime)..Version: 2.2.1
✓ Glitchy and unreliableThis app needs an extreme makeover, the layout looks like it was made in 2007 with giant black bars covering the top and bottom, the design is slow and clunky, worst of all is the faulty reporting of bus times and locations which has made me late multiple times in the past two weeks. ✓ Update ruined trackingThe recent update makes the tracking show the scheduled time, and no longer reflects the actual bus tracking. Since buses can run late it was helpful to know the actual ETA. Now it’s just a second way to see the schedule, which is not helpful for real time tracking..Version: 2.2.14
✓ AWFULI would pay for my university to use a better system. Not sure why they changed from the old one. Buses will say they’re 10 minutes away, and then be there in less than 2 minutes and you don’t know until they’ve come and gone. They’ll say they will be there in 5 minutes and it’s another 15 before they are. They have caused me to be late countless times. Worst thing my university has to offer hands down..Version: 2.2.11
✓ Not what it needs to beIt does what it needs to do, but terribly. It’s extremely glitchy and will sometimes not show buses on their routes at all while they’re running, making it impossible to know where they are if it happens. The interface is super cluttered and finding schedules for stops is agonizing and unreliable. You’re better finding a schedule posted in town and taking a picture of it, but that’s not to say this app isn’t better than nothing..Version: 2.2.10

✓ Works 50% of the timeThe app works like it is supposed to but only half the time. The other half of the time your bus won’t show up at all and the route will be blank. Without an actual bus schedule from my school. I would have mostly likely missed the bus numerous times. I liked the previous app my school had and don’t understand why we switched to this one. ✓ TerribleI never leave reviews but this is horrible. Absolutely atrocious, does not show half of the routes that are available and will give you very slow and inaccurate results. In addition to this, the app is hard to navigate and not user-friendly. Often times the information is incomplete, leaving people stranded and making people end up in the wrong location. ✓ RoutesI’ve recently redownloaded this and the routes don’t even pop up. It shows my location however doesn’t show the bus stops nor the routes. When the app actually works it’s all good. I hope this gets fixed soon...Version: 2.2.16
✓ The organization and formatThe app needs to be essentially stupid-proof. To where anyone is easily able to navigate through the area. ✓ Pretty much uselessMy university uses it for tracking its bus service and it’s essentially good for nothing. Bus locations rarely, if ever show up so it’s no help for finding arrival times. ✓ How do I know?How do I know the route I need? How do I know where to stand to catch a bus? If you could just put the address in and it will give you the results of what buses to catch and where you need to stand and the bus is actually be there when you say it’s going to be there.
