It saves me countless hours in clinical documentation because it is easy, intuitive, fast (on iPhone 6+), accurate (as far as I can tell), and very specific. I highly recommend it for anyone who writes clinical documents or needs to specify ICD 10 codes. I find it to be much faster than searching for codes via Google or one of the ICD 10 site search engines. I also find it to be more user-friendly, convenient, and fast for my purposes (clinical documentation). This app takes the guesswork out of specifying an ICD 10 code correctly and completely. It seems to be just as complete and certainty faster and obviously lighter than most complete ICD coding paper manuals that I have see (AMA, OPTIM360)..Version: 8.0.7
✓ Accurate, easy, fastGetting the diagnosis correct, clinically, is obviously important: it informs appropriate treatment, and facilitates communication between providers. In our current healthcare reimbursement system, it is also important to *code* the diagnosis correctly; otherwise, insurance carriers will kick bills right back.
