✓ Can't live without it.I downloaded three apps to cut out the best and clearest pictures out of my live photos. This is by far the winner. Simple enough for a four year old, it also will make gifs and movies out of your live photos so you can send them to people that don't have iphones, computers, or even old style phones. I would give it 10 stars if it had a bigger screen to see your photos on! Guys, you Rock!!.Version: 2.2
✓ Simple and effectiveI'm very happy with this app. It does exactly what I wanted - allows me to extract the best frame from a Live Photo video sequence and save it as a photo. I can then delete the original Live Photo to save on memory if I'm only after a few snapshots rather than the video itself. This saves the hassle of remembering to turn the feature on and off before each photo and gives me the luxury of choosing the best shot when people have moved or blinked at just the wrong moment! I haven't needed to use the other features yet. I happily paid the £2.29 to avoid having the logo watermark. I'd prefer it if I could zoom in on each frame before deciding which one to save but this is the only downside I've found so far..Version: 2.0.2

✓ One major flawI use this app constantly. Every time I have a live photo that doesn't choose the best frame, I use lively to get the better one. The one major flaw, however, is a significant loss of color quality. I have to go into a different app to attempt to recreate the same saturation/exposure that was in my original photo..Version: 2.2

✓ Essential if you use Live PhotosBy far the most frustrating thing about Live Photos is that there is (currently) no easy way of exporting and keeping them, unless you want to cable up and use Image Capture on the Mac to save the photo and video separately, which is just a pain. This app is an elegant and complete solution to that problem, providing simple functionality that should quite frankly have been built into the Photos app in the first place. I have close to 10,000 photos in camera roll but only have Alittle over 800 of various date photos to pic from. I got photos that you have in there from various years just mixed up. How about putting entire camera roll in. Latest photos aren’t in there, and I just took a photo and that wasn’t in your list of my photos so I could pick it to use(?) You can turn it off in the apple photos app but the data is still there, taking up space. The only way to remove it is to edit the image in an application and save, then delete the original live. ✓ Great appAs a photographer that likes to dabble in video I love this app. You can grab a frame from a live photo, turn it into a gif or mov. Adjust the speed and you have a nice little file. If you've ever played with the boomerang app, you know how dysfunctional it is to use. You have to time everything perfect as your taking it and then it takes a few seconds to save (making sure you miss your next shot). Doesn’t matter if Reverse or Back-And-Forth is checked off — it plays the preview once, then plays again and stops 1/4 the way through it. Trimming the GIF is still no issue, and it’ll play it fine while scrubbing, but still won’t play a whole preview again..Version: 3.2.1

✓ Great app! 10/10Finally I can transfer live photo to short vids (of gifs)! Not only that, but I can change the speed it plays at, if it plays backwards or if its in an auto reserve loop! It's also very convenient to have an option to make the file size smaller as I use Discord which only let's files under 8MB send through. ✓ Worth it, but has limitationsLike a lot of people (by the sound of it) I use this mostly to extract still frames from Live Photos, a feature which is bizarrely missing from iOS. It works well for this, and is worth the price for premium IMO. The details mention that the app supports 3D touch, but happily it does not depend on it, which means it works on my iPhone SE. However, the details don't mention that extracted still frames are only 1440x1080, not 4032x3024 like normal photos from the iPhone SE/6/6s, including the one from the middle of a Live Photo. It's still useful for getting the best frame of a moving subject, but it's not the same quality..Version: 2.0.2

✓ Best app for live shotsSo, yesterday I took a 'live photo' of my 2 daughters that I absolutely loved, but my youngest blinked in the photo so the 'preview' of the photo she has her eyes closed... I googled for an app to extract individual frames from Live Photos and found LIVELY.. BETTER than I expected! Turns out 'live photos' are longer than they appear on your iPhone! Who knew?! Now I have even more 'frames' to choose from.. certainly better than a 'burst shot' - unless you're wanting a good quality photo.
