MindDoc: Your Companion for Positive User Reviews

Review!Moodpath is a fantastic tool to help with tracking depression. However within the app it does ask for sexual preference and sexual health. I am comfortable with questions being asked however as someone who’s Asexual my biggest problems is being unable to relate to the sexual based questions simply because I don’t engage in the behaviour. The other problem that is just another personal issue is my seperate diagnosis of ASD that has some crossover with the depressive symptoms. Overall I actually love the app I’d really love to know about any future updates that you have planned that can help track days where my autism may be acting up more than usual if that’s at all possible! Again a huge thank you for this amazing app it’s been instrumental in my treatment and you guys should be super proud of it! Keep up the amazing work. <3.Version: 3.5.0

Still good, but . . .I’ve been using this app for about 9 months now, & while it’s been incredibly helpful in tracking my moods/thoughts & giving insights to them, I feel like the results lately have been a little off considering the answers I’ve been giving to the daily questions. Specifically for my most recent results, it clearly shows that my responses to the questions have been a bit more severe than the last few weeks, but the result said that all my responses are “within normal range.” Vice versa, in previous results, even though my responses throughout the week were more positive, the app would say “indication of isolated symptoms of depression.” It’s just confusing & it makes me unsure if the app is accurate..Version: 3.5.2

Actually insanely helpfulI have Bipolar 2, so I initially got the app to track my moods. If you are consistent and write notes and answer the questions every day, the results at the end are really, really helpful. Plus, it makes it easy to see if there are any trends in your behaviors or moods. They even give you suggestions as to what potential “ailment” you may have (sorry i didn’t have a better word lol) or what areas you struggle the most in. For example, they’ve told me that I have had most of my struggles with my intensely fluctuating mood, as well as struggles with my body image and eating. They explained what an eating disorder is and potential signs and things I may want to consider looking into or reaching out for help for. It’s all very helpful and quite accurate as I’ve already been diagnosed with an eating disorder about 3 years ago. Highly recommend.Version: 4.12.0

Good app pls fix bugIve been having a bug for the past couple weeks that when i write a note, i cant see what im typing. when i press “done”, the text shows up, but i cannot see what im typing as i am writing it. its very frustrating and i tried deleting and restoring the app, but to no avail. please help me fix this, or fix your code..Version: 4.8.0

Life ChangingI felt like my life was spiraling out of control and decided I needed to keep a journal to try to sort out my feelings and take notes to maybe try to find a pattern. I downloaded this app and it has gone above and beyond my expectations. I log my thoughts. It asks questions. Tracks everything. However, I answered a question about suicide today (having had suicidal thoughts and depression most my life-but haven’t worries too much on actual actions-strictly thoughts). The app went straight into a message and continued with questions. Offering to call an anonymous help line, a text line, or to text a loved one. I clicked on the text a loved one option and it opened my texts with a text ready saying “Can you call me? I’m not doing well and I think I need to talk..” I’ve been amazed with this app and truly believe it saves lives..Version: 2.7.2

Wonderful and very interactiveI haven’t gotten my results back yet. But I just love how it is all set up! With the questions and the options/scale to tell how much things are bothering you. I downloaded several journaling apps and this one has been my favorite. Because of the way it asks you questions daily and things are modified based off your answers. I also love how it asks three questions a day, so I could figure out at what time I started feeling better or worse, what time my meds started and what time they faded, the question feature is super helpful. I also love how it doesnt only have “happy, sad, or mad” as emotions, but other more specific ones as well. It is difficult for me to just type and journal because I end up typing way to much about my feelings. So having adjectives to pick from was very nice, so I could just type about how I felt. The only complaint I have is that I cannot go back and edit my entires once I post them, if I messed something up. I’ve only been using this app for a week and I’m already loving how easy it makes observing your own emotions..Version: 3.3.2

Best Mental Health Companion Ever!I’ve been using this app for 2 years and I cannot express how thankful I am to have it. It’s a fantastic app that allows you to write down all your thoughts whenever you want to. It keeps track of how you’re feeling with questions and gives you frequent overviews so you can keep on top of your mood changes and realise when things aren’t right. I recommend this app to everyone !.Version: 4.17.5

Very Helpful! This app is wonderful. It is very helpful with the exercises and the courses..Version: 4.4.0

My new best friendI have completed a 14 day cycle and received my insights. I love this app. The questions are a perfectly Indirect way of gathering information. I found with CBT activities I was feeling down after doing them so couldn’t really do them at work. I can complete this when I am on break or making a cup of tea. I had an issue with not being able to input data retrospectively, emailed the address provided in help, and received an email back within the hour from a lovely lady with a masters in a psychological discipline. It even generated a letter for my GP/therapist to explain what I struggle to find words for. I’m honestly very impressed..Version: 3.0.9

Really helpful & easy to useI’m day 10 of my first 14. So far it’s been really helpful being able to log moods & some activities. I’ve found the education features really useful & informative. There are really good short activities to complete if you want too & I have already started feeling like I’m abit more in control of my emotions. Looking forward to my first assessment. Impressive response to feedback- I posted feedback once & got a reply the next day..Version: 3.4.2

AmazingGreat app but I’ve realised the questions asked kind of trigger me. For example, it will say things like ‘Do you feel an inner unrest’ and I’ll just go and start thinking about my problems and it kind of impacts my mood negatively, especially in the morning. I know it’s a problem i have, and i can recognise when I don’t fit the criteria at all eg ‘appetite’ or ‘sadness’ questions but some questions almost feel like a self fulfilling prophecy. In that sense, it has helped regulate my moods and helped me to realise i have a problem. Wish it could offer more advice though..Version: 3.3.2

Good app for meI find this app extremely helpful as I don’t want to carry around pens and note book to record my mood or journal about my feelings, which I can get self conscious about. I can see more obvious patterns in my mood relating to activity including being on annual leave that were difficult to see on paper. I print the referral letter off to give to my therapist and my GP. They both find it useful. The only thing is I use to be able to print straight from the app now since a recent upgrade I have to email myself to be able to print! Or at least I’ve not found a way yet!.Version: 2.4.1

Amazing app - but one requestSuch an amazing app- it has really helped me over the past month. I have no complaints but rather advice (I guess?): it would be great to be able to share data between devices. That’s my only request but otherwise it’s a perfect app as it keeps you engaged and it’s often difficult for me to keep at something everyday, but it’s been easy to keep doing this. The audio and reading material are also extremely interesting and encourage me to buy the full version. Thank you for making this app :).Version: 3.3.0

Best Mental Health appHaving recently started struggling again with depression and anxiety I was desperate to find some way to help myself and to keep it under control. I downloaded a variety of apps, however this is the only one that did not get deleted! All other apps offer you extremely little content unless you pay extortionate subscriptions (not exactly fair on people trying to seek help!). However, this app has a huge range of really helpful content that remains free. There is a subscription to enable further access, but a good level of content is accessible and usable without subscription, which is what I loved most about it. Thank you for a really great tool that is helping my manage my condition!.Version: 3.0.6

Great for tracking your moodFor many mental health issues it can be important to be aware of how your mood changes over time, and this is a really useful way to keep track of that. I don’t have notifications turned on, so I don’t always remember to answer the questions, but it’s really easy and non-invasive compared to other techniques I’ve tried in the past..Version: 3.0.8

Very welcomingThis app is extremely helpful and comfortable to use. I highly recommend this to anyone trying to keep a track of their mood..Version: 4.6.0

Great idea, a few minor issuesI love this app and have really been enjoying tracking my mood over time. The interface is great and the questions it asks are relevant to someone who struggles with depression. However I have found it frustrating that journal entries sometimes get deleted if I leave the app while in progress or if I go back and decide to change my mood after journaling and thinking about it more. There should be a way to retroactively change that, or the app should remember my journal entries if I go back. I just lost 3 paragraphs because of this, which is a little frustrating. All in all, though, I think it’s a useful tool. I would suggest that the developers just add functionality that treats the journal feature as an actual journal rather than just a place to jot down a few thoughts. I like to get in depth with my journaling..Version: 2.7.1

Thank you, Mood PathI’ve struggled with mental health issues for 16 years. Depression, anxiety, and bipolar type II. For 16 years these feelings have been suppressed because I was always told growing up, “your problems are your problems and they are not something you talk about.” Someone like me who is reluctant to open up to a therapist, will greatly benefit from this app. I’ve been using it for a month and it really has helped me understand my feelings and how they affect my life. I love the 14 day report. Since I am new to treatment, the report is an awesome tool for me to give to my doctor so he can understand what’s going on in my mind. I struggle with conveying my feelings and thoughts into words because I’m new to this and have never sought help for issues. Thank you, Mood Path for an awesome resource..Version: 3.2.1

ExcellentFrom all of the apps I’ve downloaded, this is in my top 5. Great little programs to follow to try to understand how you feel, processes to help you sleep, suggestions to help deal with your emotions and I find them all insightful and helpful..Version: 2.8.0

Easy Improvements? As is the app is very good, however i’d like more customization. Most of the time the questions at the beginning don’t apply to me most days. I’d like some sort of setting where you could go in and check like “i want to see these questions often” or “i want to see these questions rarely” based on what does/does not often apply. I’d also like to be able to set individual times. I wake up at 6, get morning questions at 7:30 which is great! But my afternoon questions don’t come until 12. I usually miss them because I have class at that time, so i’d like to be able to set that at my actual lunch time. I also would prefer to have my evening questions before bed, rather than in the middle of the time i set aside for studying, because my mood is usually the same while i’m doing that. I also think you should either have a different system for picking emotions/experiences (where you can see all the options when you’re choosing rather than having to put in more, or be able to search by like positive neutral/negative feelings) or be able to add them to the homepage. For example if you feel stressed or anxious a lot, you could add that emotion to the main page for easy access. Something like that..Version: 3.1.4

So helpfulIt has really helped me reflect on my moods. It even gives you symptoms depending on your daily moods. It’s like keeping a personal diary but it is like your diary is talking back to you, saying what you can do to help your worrying. Or giving you daily tests to take, making you take an emotional assessment everyday to give you an assessment to show you if you have any mental illnesses. It tracks how you feel, and it makes it even more reliable because there are experts running this app. 10/10 would recommend..Version: 3.5.2

So usefulI’m a 17yo girl and I’ve been through hell and back with my depression. MindDoc has genuinely helped me to realize what I need to focus on, if I’m going through an episode, and helps my therapist and I see how I’ve been feeling. I never use an app like this for longer than 2 weeks because I normally get tired of them but it’s been almost 9 months of me using this app and it’s helped so much. I started using it this year right before the pandemic because I had just gone through a heart break and was on the edge of ending it all. I found MindDoc and have used it every single day since. I’m very grateful for the help and guidance this app has given me. I would recommend this app to everyone, even if you don’t have a mental illness..Version: 4.0.0

Conscious recording of feelings and reactionsI am able to see what is happening and pinpoint how I’m feeling about it. I am very much looking forward to seeing trends over the long term when using this app.Version: 3.7.0

Perfect except for AustraliansBy far one of the best mood tacking apps I’ve used to date. Moodpath offers a complex system that can analyse how your feeling as well as providing support which other apps can’t offer. I’m impressed overall for the free version but would love to see a cheaper price as I’m a struggling student who wants to upgrade to the premium content to help manage my depression but can’t handle the hefty price tag. Overall it’s a great app but my main problem is the set time and date. I live in Australia and it’s really frustrating getting saying I’m on the wrong date or logging at the wrong time. I know it’s just nit picking but for international users it would be such a great update to pick your Timezone or even country/region. I’ll take any Australian Timezone over the current European set one. I’m so excited to see where this app goes and it’s really been helping. Thanks ❤️.Version: 3.4.2

AMAZING APPI never usually rate apps but this one is fantastic. You track your mood and symptoms through three questions daily for a fortnight and it sums it all up into one letter to show your doctor or other health professional. It also teaches you about how depression occurs and helps you to understand your illness as well as learn different treatment paths. It's very informative. Also, it phones Samaritans if you ask it to connect you to counselling immediately. Only issue I've found is there aren't enough countries with helplines provided, and some slides in the information pages are in a language other than English..Version: 2.1.9

Great app, but needs to fix a bit of bugsI really like this app. I basically use it as a journal. It’s a great way for me to keep track or my mood and what I was doing at the moment. However, I have encountered a few bugs that I would appreciate if they got fixed. Firstly, the notifications are a bit glitchy. Sometimes I get a notification and it immediately disappears, leaving me with little time to react to it. Since I don’t have my phone on 24/7, I sometimes get the notifications and not notice them. I’m not sure if it’s because I have it set so they don’t go away until I swipe them off. I’m very forgetful, so I’d appreciate the notifications working. And secondly, another bug I encountered is when writing an entry (in the thoughts), and leaving the app by tapping on another notification makes it so either: 1. It makes it do all the questions again or 2. Doesn’t let me write on the entry anymore, forcing me to close the app and redo everything again. This is a bit bothersome if I already wrote a lot of things in the entry. I would love for those bugs could be fixed, as it’ll make a better experience when using the app..Version: 3.0.6

Love it!I started using this app when i was having a tough time at school, just being asked a few relevant questions to get in touch with myself, and being able to jot a couple things down about my day has helped me get back into touch with myself and my mental has been thanking me for it!! no actually, i should be thanking you guys for it! and as a student, the free version offers more than enough options without me feeling left out:) i can’t wait to get a job so i can try out some of the other programs you guys offer!!.Version: 3.6.0

MoodpathOverall, Moodpath provides users with a safe outlet to seek mental health guidance. A strength of the app is that it states that its evaluation should not be viewed as a clinical diagnosis. The app is a wonderful start for users to begin their journey towards a healthier physical and emotional well-being. It is unfortunate that the app does not allow the user to personalize such as meditation for beginners. Since this app is geared towards individuals who are 12 years of age or older it would be beneficial to provide exercises for individuals who have no prior experience with mindfulness. It can be difficult for adolescents to jump straight into exercises that are five to 30 minutes long. From my experience, it doesn't seem like the app is friendly to those individuals who are new to meditation. One of the best features of this app is that it provides users with mental health resources in the case that they are feeling isolated or lonely and are experiencing suicidal thoughts. Good job Moodpath, I’m really enjoying the app!.Version: 2.8.0

Truly brilliantDownload this app, it is brilliant: a really fantastic resource for anyone who wants To be more in touch with their mood fluctuation, and in particular those with depression and anxiety. I downloaded it when I started a new ssri medication, and it has been so helpful. The insights are astute and interesting, the format is so well designed and easy to use, and the data collected is useful and allows a lot of insight. Thanks for making this!.Version: 3.0.2

Fantastic for when you feel out of controlA fantastic grounding app perfect for those with anxiety, regular check ins to help you take a minute to acknowledge what’s going on inside you and help you take control again. I love it!.Version: 3.0.6

Can’t live without it!!! MUST HAVE!I have major depressive episode disorder, and a panic disorder (extreme anxiety). I’ve just started using this app and it collects information based on your answers and your inputs. It’s great to show your doctors or therapists, because they can see your mood/behaviours/thoughts daily/weekly/monthly/. Very helpful! Anytime I have a episode, I immediately touch base with the app, then self soothe. The app gives you information and insights based on the information you’re giving it daily. It gives you tips and advice... all without ZERO judgment. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know! TRY IT! Just like with anything for mental health, you have to be committed and stay committed..Version: 3.5.2

Helpful even though it’s geared more towards depression.I have been using Moodpath for a few months and I’m finding it great for helping me keep track of my bipolar cycle..Version: 3.4.2

😇😇I have been absolutely loving this app! It’s been able to keep track of my moods and give me reviews on what’s actually happening, which helps my partner and I tackle these deeper issues and helps me work through trauma and anxiety. It’s gives you little tips and advice which has been very insightful! I would definitely recommend this app! *One improvement that I would love to see! To have a male / female ; so it’d track you moods (for females) during those “sensitive days” and be able to have little symbols for that week, so we can see how moody we are and how it affects us..Version: 3.2.1

App keeps crashingThis app is super helpful but lately for the past 2 weeks it keeps crashing just as I submit my answers so i’ve missed my questions for 2 weeks..Version: 3.5.2

Finally, peace of mind!Unlike mood tracking apps that simply let you note how you’re feeling today, MindDoc goes the extra mile to provide you with evidence of your fluctuation with moods day to day. I’ve spent a lot of time journaling, tracking my emotions and seeking advice from professionals. With this app I’ve been able to track my moods multiple times a day, knowing that after two weeks I can make sense of why my moods change so drastically and what cycles I need to break to help improve my day to day wellbeing. It’s such a relief to have an app that will provide evidence of my mood swings. I’m excited to continue learning more about myself..Version: 4.4.0

Solid app with very helpful information4.3 This app has a lot of useful information to help people understand the thoughts in their head. With great information on what depression is, the symptoms, and the treatment that all are based on factual information that I have learned in my college psychology classes. This app, developed by a group of experts in psychology can be used for many different things like keeping track of how you felt on a certain day as it gives you reminders to get into the app and let them know how you feel every morning, evening and night. You also will receive and assessment every 14 days of your emotional health that is based off your daily journal. This process repeats itself so you are able to track your progress. I am a big fan of the different “courses” that you can take and learn about that also give you exercises to help with what you learned in that course. There is a lot of upside to this app and it can feel like and easier route then actually seeing a psychologist especially with the scientific accuracy and detail this app can give. But, I wouldn’t substitute it for a real psychologist especially if you are experiencing severe symptoms. But overall this is a great app to help you log how you feel and learn information about depression that you would be able to learn in a psychology class..Version: 3.7.0

Life changing & extremely useful- bipolarI downloaded this app for the mood tracking and free meditations. I was recently suspected of bipolar (awaiting diagnosis). This app has made tracking my moods incredibly easy. It reminds me three times a day to assess myself, asks questions that might seem irrelevant initially but when you start seeing the assessments it makes and gives you really insightful feedback... the value of the app is obvious. It even told me I was having a major depressive episode, which is really helpful when you are struggling to understand what is going on and if your feelings are real or how they compare to someone else. A tangible way to understand my disorder. The only annoying thing is you have to pay $6 a month to see all the historical stuff from previous months. But even the free version is extremely useful on a month to month basis. DOWNLOAD THIS APP.Version: 3.0.8

Quite goodIts the 2nd time i download it. Last time it was a year and a half ago, and i used it for about 6months. I felt better and deleted the app. Now ive had a comeback of a typical day when i was depressed. I thought i would get back all my history in this app but it all disappeared, im kinda sad about it. I wouldve love to see my past evolution of getting better..Version: 3.7.0

Good but..It’s a very good app and very helpful with tracking moods. It helps me know when I’m going to get hit by a depressive wave. Unfortunately, only one of the stories is available for free reading. This app could probably help more if it made more stories available..Version: 3.2.1

GoodI am thankful for this app and it’s a great thing that something like this is out there, wether or not it helps you directly or indirectly. Only couple of problems I’ve found is that you can’t add a mood when you like, as well as that push notifications don’t alert me or appear even though they are turned on (This is for iPhone 6S).Version: 2.3.3

Helping me after experiencing an emotional abuse relationshipThis app has helped me tremendously. I wouldn’t take it to diagnose anything severe and would recommend seeing an in person therapist for severe depression or other disorders, (I think it would be hard to pinpoint the symptoms spec) but it’s insightful algorithm asks different questions based on your responses and even provides help for people having suicidal thoughts. It has been a tremendous relief and friend for me during a really tough time in my life. It’s helped me track my emotions, (without any annoying ads or pointless advice) it easily pushes you into being more mindful, and gives simple beautiful and easy to follow videos that are calming and has ultimately inspired and fueled my desire to keep improving myself and find an in-person psychotherapist. I’ve dealt with depression since the age of 15, and I’m on medication. But it’s been really helpful learning to be mindful, and learning more about self growth. I’ve always wanted a good mood tracker and will continue to use this. ♥️ thank you for your help..Version: 2.7.1

Amazing helped me more than I could imagineI got this app and honestly the 3 sets of questions showed me that I had a consistentsy and a level of self care. The 14 day review is great and can help you understand things differently the advice, listen and read is amazing if you need help and if it’s concerned it will give you contacts in the centre and councilling ideas. It also let me look back on days to see where I could improve 1 month in and has helped me massively.Version: 3.1.3

Recommend.I seen a post about mood trackers then realised there are days where my mood isn’t always great. I stumbled upon this app and decided to give it a try. I honestly like having something to keep track of and you get results on improvements with in 2 weeks if you answer everything and fill them out honestly. There are also a lot of helpful tips/insights on certain things which have came to really help me. I definitely recommend trying it out but if it is not a thing for you then it is simply not..Version: 3.1.2

Great app[SOLVED with an update] I downloaded it to try it, but it won’t open. It looks like a good idea for an app, but if it doesn’t even open, it’s a big no-no. ============== I’ve been using this for about two months now and it’s really helpful, it helps you keep track of pretty much everything. There’s a small weird issue with notifications (I set a custom reminder at fixed hours and after a couple of days they stopped coming through but apparently reverting to “random times” does the trick) but other than that it really is great..Version: 3.5.0

It was good until..This is a really good app with a good layout! it helps me to track when my mood has dropped and what symptoms are accompanying that through their questions. however, it now has logged me out and will crash each time i’ve tried to log in. i’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, everything. besides that, a very good app, the best of its kind..Version: 4.3.1

Great mental health tracking but I have one issueThis is a great app but my issue with it is, it says 12+ but you can only choose from 18+. If this has been fixed, I may need to create a new one but I can’t really give accurate answers considering some are targeted towards adults since 18 was the youngest allowed age.Version: 4.3.3

Just an idea. Everything’s great but..I think it’s an amazing app although it does not accommodate bipolar depression, as I unfortunately noticed, and only unipolar depression as clarified from Moodpath. It’s still very good for keeping track of moods. I just updated and noticed there are helpful courses that we’ll now have to pay for. For this app I really wouldn’t mind but before the courses section was the “Knowledge” section that had lots of information about treatments and different stuff that helped me. I really think the information there could’ve helped any newcomers that found the app like it did me. Especially the articles explaining therapy and medications like antidepressants and stabilizers. It made me more open to the idea of medication, in my case I might actually need it but I’ve been hesitant, and going out to find a therapist. Just an idea I think articles should be put back on the app. It is very educational and informative..Version: 2.6.2

Super helpful, highly recommend itThis app has been extremely helpful. It makes it so much easier to get an overview of my moods over time, and this broader perspective has provided some very useful insights. The daily questions surprisingly don’t feel repetitive or intrusive and don’t take much time so I’ve managed to stick with it daily for well over half a year now. It’s been very helpful in therapy sessions. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to keep track of their mood over time, especially if you are feeling concerned that you may be at risk of depression or moving towards it..Version: 3.5.0

Highly recommendLove the app, been using it for months. Recently the notifications stopped working and I continually miss questions - tried everything to reset it but no luck. Makes me want to try another app..Version: 4.3.3

Excellent. For mental healthThis app is a lot better than others I have tried. It helps monitor my moods which can flair into anxiety and or depression. Or hyperactivity. I am finding it very helpful as I am working on being more organised and adding more challenges to my plate each week. Thanks.Version: 3.7.0

Actually really helpful. So I downloaded this app because I think I saw someone post it on Snapchat? I downloaded it and didn’t think it would be very useful as many other apps haven’t worked for me. Now, I’ve made 5 of my other friends download this app because I’ve found it very useful. It’s allowed me to understand what I’m exactly feeling and when I’m feeling upset/angry/down and how I can improve on it. I’ve only used it for 7 days but I am really getting along very well with it. I enjoy using it, it’s so easy and user friendly, it’s simple, it’s straight to the point. To improve the app, however, I would say it should have more ‘emotions’, the list is very basic so it should have more variety of what you can choose from to say how you’re feeling but that’s the only improvement I would make. Besides that, it’s absolutely brilliant. Incredibly happy I have downloaded the app and shared with friends..Version: 2.5.0

Not exactly what I was looking for.Don’t get me wrong, I love this app. But, when I tried the 14 day trial, I expected an actual note from a therapist or doctor explaining how I could help myself from what I’d written. Not necessarily interact with the therapist, but know how to take care of my depressive episodes or anxiety. I was completely disappointed to see that it just fave me a recommendation letter for a doctor. This could be useful to some people, but I don’t think It’s as useful for me as I first thought. Maybe if there could be some type of help in the app, like with the message when you say you’ve had or have planned (tw) suicide. I found that to be at least a little comforting. Implementing something like this would be a nice touch. I’m going to continue using this app, but for more of a journal than anything..Version: 2.5.1

Good startI have only been using this app for a couple of days and I actually look forward to my daily inputs and looking back on them. Make me relise my day wasn’t as bad as I thought it was..Version: 3.1.0

It’s so helpfulI have had quite the amount of episodes in my life and I’m not proud to say I’ve acted on them by cutting myself. This app is so helpful for depression, mainly, but just keeping up on how you feel, what happened, etc. I recommend this app to anyone who is experiencing a hard time..Version: 2.6.1

Totally different perspectiveI’m a sensitive person, so many things “set me off” in a different mood. Aside from seeing a therapist regularly, this app has made a huge difference in how I view myself, my thoughts, and my emotions. It’s a simple concept but effective; three times a day the app asks me a few questions and I get to rate how I feel at the moment and make a journal entry if I want. These simple steps often facilitate a change in perspective if I’m in a bad mood (from “I’m so stressed because work is overwhelming” to “Work is heavy right now and it’s a normal response to be stressed, what can I do to lift my load and feel better?”). I use the paid version because the reading and listening resources are quick, effective, and informative. Also, the design, colors, and illustrations of this app are so soothing!.Version: 3.5.0

Helped me out so much, I’m writing a reviewFinally an app that is, and does, what it claims. Moodpath has truly helped these last couple of weeks, I can sing it’s praises enough! It is a great way to record feelings, patterns, events (not only for your own insight) for follow-up Doctor etc appointments (blank & clueless syndrome as soon as I sit in Dr chair). Moodpath has made such a difference to me-routine/notifications to remind you to keep a log. I have had journals, diaries & notebook always to hand, yet never continued after a day or two. This truly works, so I highly recommend!.Version: 3.0.6

Fantastic mood tracking appThis is great if you want a more complex and detailed summary of your moods. I love the positive reinforcement when you're doing good at answering how you're feeling frequently. The insights are usually helpful and interesting, and there's a lot of other information in the app. The fact that you can type a journal entry with every mood you enter is great and has been really helpful for me when I'm feeling frustrated or sad or excited. A few improvements I would suggest would be an edit button you can click for a short amount of time after you click the check mark to submit your mood. Sometimes I'll finish and then a few minutes later want to add something I forgot. A snooze button on the notification would be great so that it can ask again in a half hour or so. I also with you could add an event to the calendar such as when you're starting a new medication to help track your mood compared the the medication easier. Overall though a very beautiful and helpful app; I have told my therapist about it to recommend it to other people..Version: 3.1.5

Helpful, but I was unable to view the reportI found the app helpful to a degree e.g. the questions that I was asked, recording my moods over a 2 week period, additional reading info to understand my moods. Unfortunately I was unable to view the report, which was disappointing, and makes me reluctant to use again. As two weeks feels like a long time when you are feeling low. Moodpath I have sent you an email with some more info and I hope that you are able to assist, to enable me to access my report or to try to understand what went wrong with the use of the app. Update: Moodpath responded to my email and I was able to access my GP report. They also said that this might have been due to gaps in recording my mood. Sometimes I wasn’t motivated to do this or the time wasn’t convenient, but would be good if there was more choice to set the reminders for the rest of the day. Thanks Moodpath. Brilliant app! Thanks.Version: 2.6.0

Helps me dailyI love this app. My therapist told me about this app. Told me it would help me along side of journaling my daily issues. I know I’m only new to the app but I feel it’s been a great help. I recommend ppl to use this app..Version: 3.5.0

THE best mental health appMoodpath is so nice and super effective! It checks in with you multiple times a day, making YOU check in with yourself when this happens. It’s soooo good for tracking moods, thinking more carefully, and a great way to journal constantly and unpack your feelings if needed. It’s amazing to be able to see your moods and possible thoughts, feeling, or experiences that help change and ulterior them. Anyone who’s going thru a hard time, I can’t recommend this enough. Moodpath is the friend you need! 💕.Version: 3.3.0

Great app, super helpfulThis has been such an amazing app. I have learnt so much through the courses and through generally mapping my emotions and being more conscious of them. I dont mind that the app has now gone to a paying model, but I do recommend that the developers consider providing a weekly or fortnightly subscription option as $70 is a lot for some people to pay all at once. Especially people who are students, of which many struggle with the issues this app can help with. Changing this subscription model would help those who really need it access it much easier. Thanks.Version: 3.1.0

Wow life changingThis app has helped me to identify and record my thoughts and feelings better than most trained specialists. I love the insights and the questions help me remain mindful and aware of my feelings and consequences. It is life changing in my dedication to being a better person. Thank you so much..Version: 3.0.6

Insightful tool to explore and understand your own mental healthThis app makes it easy to track emotions of all kinds, frequencies, how they might tie in with different events and experiences. It’s helped me to identify my own personal triggers for stress and anxiety and also provides useful meditations and guidance when needed. It’s particularly helpful for tracking low mood and I really appreciated how it assesses your health and makes recommendations for how to seek help. Highly recommended for those interested in taking control of their health..Version: 3.1.5

Disappointed now it’s been updatedFirst off I just want to say how much I love this app. It’s been so helpful and I was only telling someone about how great it was earlier and how nice it is everything is free. It updated today and now I go on to use the evening meditations and see it’s all now subscription only. It’s such a shame as I think it spoils the app and think it sends out the wrong message. Now it kind of just seems like another app that’s only good if you sign up to a monthly subscription:( really disappointed..Version: 3.0.8

My ReviewMoodpath has really helped my mental health. I have been using it for just over 2 weeks and I have found although my depression is still there, I’m a lot more centred since I have a diary in which to record all of my thoughts. The questions Moodpath ask me 3x a day allow them to give an effective evaluation every 2 weeks. I cannot recommend this app enough!.Version: 3.2.1

Such a great idea wish I came up with it myself!Brilliant app. I was recommended this by a friend when I was going through a hard time. It was a fantastic way to monitor my mood and I was able to identify which part of the day I was most likely to feel sad. They have added more features now and a Moodpath + but the Moodpath basics is still more than enough for me! Great app and cannot thank the creators enough..Version: 2.6.4

Great app!It helps me keep up with how I am feeling during the days. The materials, such as the readings and videos, are very beneficial. However, you would need to purchase that features, but honestly, it’s like paying for a therapist but much cheaper. The material does support specific problems that an individual may be struggling with..Version: 4.5.1

Wish you didn’t have to pay to access featuresReally good app ... detailed, and I really like the statistics and tags. This is the third mood tracker app I’ve tried, and it so far seems pretty good However, I’m currently 14, unemployed, and with no means of earning money. I can’t afford to pay the listed price for courses, which is something I’d really like to try.Version: 3.2.1

AMAZING!😱👍🏽All i can say is WOW! This app is amazing! It’s almost as if you have your own doctor but privately in your home! Its SO accurate and even lets you print off information for your doctor, i am just so so amazed by this app I really am! Its the best by FAR out of them all! I give it 20 out of 10 it is that good! There is SO much to the app and has lots of things to listen to if you are having a bad time and need a bit help and advice. Its just brilliant in every single way. I highly recommend this app 100%! Defo is the best! Thank you Moodpath for all your professional help, you are wonderful 👍🏽😊.Version: 3.0.6

The best companionMy friend recommended this app to me and I have since recommended it to many other people. Such a good, gentle way to check in with how you are doing, and to relay this information to others when you may struggle to do so yourself. The app encouraged me to seek out professional mental health based on my feelings at one point, & I am not sure I would have without it suggesting it to me... the app knows what I’ve been through, good and bad. It has helped me so much..Version: 4.0.0

Mood path supporterAs a sever depression suffering 15 year old I have learnt a lot more about what I am dealing with every time I use this incredible app no only dose it let me track my improvements it helps me keep track of my thoughts and apply evidence to my well-being councillors as I am on my road to recovery it wouldn’t have been going so smoothly without the help of Moodpath what is a reliable source is your are struggling like me hope this helped with getting a better bearing around the app..Version: 3.2.0

Great! It’s great to write how you feel in, especially if there no one who will listen to you. You feel as if you are not alone and there is someone there reading what you say. Plus, when you are actually having a good day, it helps you recognise that and keep it in memory so you know that all of your days aren’t bad..Version: 2.6.1

Simple and effectiveI very much like this app to capture a snapshot of how I’m feeling. The free text notes section is helpful to me. I would prefer to be able to capture a wider range of emotions and experiences beyond those offered as options, but I appreciate there is probably a specific reason the options are limited. Overall, this app is helping me..Version: 2.5.2

Great app! Highly recommend!Looking forward to the 14 day overall results. It is more in-depth rather than just pick your mood and has easy of absorb information about depression (what it is, the causes and help for it). One issue though, the notification system doesn’t fully work. The app requires 3 inputs a day but sometimes you’re not notified for one of them which could skew the overall results over the course of the 14 days. Other than that, I will be happy to continue to use this app over the many others on the App Store!.Version: 2.3.3

Severely underratedHow is this app not more widespread??? It appears humanity is finally turning the page in beginning to understand and respect the importance of mental/emotional health. Unfortunately, this era seems too polarizing to be viable long-term. Where one self-aware individual takes root, three narcissists sprout up behind them. Or vice versa. I guess it depends on your personal blend of experiences. Nonetheless, this app serves as a power-up to the former of folks and should at least be in the Top 10 charts. Especially given the circumstances... I mean, come on people. Let’s get our priorities straight and create a better batch of role models for the next round of kids. Some of us would like to get off this toxic merry-go-round!!! Alright, El Fin with the philosophical rant. But really, this app is wonderful for many reasons. My favorite is that it helps those, who’ve previously dissociated due to trauma, reconnect with their somatic and emotional states. Many people don’t seek therapy because they don’t feel comfortable talking about their deep private feelings with another person. Duh, who does. Well, this app makes crossing that bridge a whole lot easier! Suggest it to your friends!!!! No I’m not a salesperson, I just get excited.Version: 3.4.2

I wish I’d have found it soonerI had been going through some extreme emotional and mental tough spots so I downloaded this app to kind of keep track and see if I noticed a pattern and to take to the therapist once i received insurance. I made sure to turn on the notifications (I never do this with any app) and I still missed question sets, but out of all of the ones I filled out over a two week period, plus the ones i added in when I found the time, it gave me a complete assessment with a printable document to take straight to the therapist (with spots for my info; name, insurance, etc.)They also provide free audio; uplifting talks, the sound of ocean waves, or ones to help you fall asleep. As long as you can be open and honest with yourself, this app can help..Version: 3.1.4

Wonderful app - with a few suggestionsThis app has been great for recording my mood. It would be even better if it could include a section about the state of your physical health (eg cramps, headaches, pain, injury) as this can also affect your mental health and it would be good to see the correlation. It would also be good to note what medication you’ve taken that day and when/how much. Currently I note these factors under experiences or in the notes section but having dedicated sections would be better..Version: 3.1.2

Teen severely depressedIm only 15 years old and have struggled with these mix of emotions from being suicidal and hopeless and struggling with self harm, my parents refuse to get me counseling because they believe im not actually depressed, its just mood swings from being a teenager but i always knew something was really really wrong with how i saw life and myself. therapy apps cost money that i dont have and i have no friends to talk too and talking to staff at school will just draw back to my parents. i found this app just while scrolling on the appstore and decided to download it but i thought there was a catch. there wasnt. no money is involved in this unless the Plus but plus really isnt even necessary. ive used it for a month and my results came back saying i was severely depressed. and somehow getting a notif from this app to answer questions makes me really happy..Version: 3.1.5

Pretty coolI think the app is pretty cool.I don’t know, there’s something about the fact that the app asks for your mood multiple times a day that’s just really nice..Version: 4.2.2

DEFINITELY TRY THIS APPI have depression, anxiety etc... and have been recommended by many people to use lots of different apps, which were good but not really doing the job. Then when looking at another recommended app I stumbled across this one. This app is so helpful and I find (unlike the others) asks the right type of questions. I will 100% recommended this app and tell the people so they could recommend too!.Version: 3.0.6

Very beneficial!I have been using this Mind Doc for the last two weeks and I don’t know why I didn’t think to download it sooner! As a college student, life can be extremely hectic and overwhelming especially when you’re trying to balance multiple things at once. This app has allowed me to reflect on my behavior and understand why it is important to keep track of my mental health. My favorite aspect of this is the journaling portion! For me, it can be hard to verbally express my emotions and know that people are actually acknowledging my feelings. By journaling, it has allowed me to get everything off of my chest and remember certain aspects of my day more clearly. I also really appreciate the different courses and audio tracks available as it has helped me to relaxed. 10/10 would recommend!.Version: 4.0.0

The best app for mental health monitoringAbsolutely love this app, the screening questions, the fact it lets you monitor your mood 3x a day, and provides you with a report at the end of 14 days. I love the notes section as that has really helped with gaining even more insight into my condition. I have been using this for the past 8 months now and really this has been a blessing especially during new medication trials. I also like the new additional questions that have been added to screen for additional co-morbidities and other affective illnesses. One thing that maybe could be improved is extending the mood average period on the screen where it shows average mood over 7, 14 and 21 days to maybe show over a longer period. I have noticed that I have several really low days followed by 2 moderate days and it would be really good to see if this trend has persisted over a longer time frame (i.e: monthly, 3 monthly and 6 monthly)..Version: 2.4.3

It helps!!Personally, I paid for the subscription and it was awesome. Even without a subscription, it’s a great mood tracker, asking you a variety of questions three times a day and you can see your progress. They have one free meditation thats 12 minutes but it’s good! I 100% recommend and I think it’s the app for these kind of things out there. :).Version: 4.0.0

What i’ve been looking for, different from the rest3 days in, surprisingly still using it. Normally some don’t even make it past the download. I like how it doesn’t straight up ask you for money or a subscription with a free week, unless I’ve missed something 🙂 I also like that it ask you 3 times during the day. It seems more real to give a response rather then suggest I’m happy etc for the whole day, everyone has ups and downs during the day. A big plus is that it doesn’t do it in a bugging way. It’s done in a really quick way so it doesn’t seem bothersome esp if your feeling down and can’t be arsed..Version: 3.4.1

Moodpath is greatI’ve used a written mood journal for a few years, but since starting Moodpath about 1 year ago, I have found that I record more often and more reliably, thanks to the reminders that pop up on my phone 3 times a day. I would never collect this amount of important data otherwise. It also asks questions that get me thinking more about what emotions I am actually feeling. This has tied in nicely with the DBT course I am currently doing. As a bipolar sufferer I am finding this an invaluable tool for learning about and reporting my emotions...for myself and my doctor. Is it possible to go back to a past date and add/edit an entry?.Version: 3.1.4

10/10I’ve used this app for about a year now and it’s really helped me track my mood throughout the day, week, and even months. All you have to do is answer a series of personalized questions three times a day and you get results in 2 weeks. Throughout the 2 week period before you get the main results, it also gives you ways of helping your current mood. It also has articles you can read on improving different mental disorders, practicing mindfulness, etc. As this app is personalized, it can help you with anything from depression and anxiety to eating disorders and insomnia. I personally use it to help with my depression, so it gives me tips on how to manage sadness such as finding something I liked during the day, or something good that happened and focusing on that. I would recommend this app to anyone, 10/10..Version: 4.8.0

Annoying updateHi. Please recalibrate the results feedback bit. It keeps telling me to talk to a therapist and when I review my responses they are over 90% positive, and unchanged for about a year. The calibration is now too sensitive. I’d have thought feeling over 90% happy was desirable, rather than a time to go into therapy. I’ve been using this app for around 4 years I think. Was great. Now it has a bit of a dodgy trigger. However, a useful reply from the developer about this review means I’m going into up it to 4*..Version: 4.0.0

Please use if you’re sufferingThis is an excellent way of trying to see when and how your mood changes throughout the days and months. It helps you see trends. You can describe how you feel and use it as a diary and/or mindfulness journal. During extremely bad times, this app offers counselling and free phone line for those feeling suicidal thoughts; which I feel is responsible of the app but also, just to know it’s there gives comfort. Just want to say thank you - this app has really helped and continuing to help as a companion alongside my therapy..Version: 3.2.2

You need this app!Never rate apps however this is an absolute god send. Only been using for four days and has been so helpful already! Was told to monitor my mood by the doctors however would never remember. This app sends you a reminder when it is time to make an entry. So happy I found this app and would highly recommend to anyone struggling with depression, anxiety, ptsd or any other mental health condition..Version: 2.5.0

Helps my counsellor and I track my moodRecently I’ve been diagnosis MDD. It was all very hard and I had a few episodes after. When I was first diagnosed I had taken the test to see how severe the depression was, I scored 22/27 so pretty bad. Once I got the app and tracked my mood and good things were happening and now that I am slowly accepting the help I need and the support I need when I recently took it again with my counsellor because I don’t take anti-depressants I scored a 13/27 so I went down quite a lot. I know that I will never get rid of my depression. It will be with me till the day I die. But It’s very positive seeing and reassuring all the progress you make and even better when you right down what causes you to feel the way you do because when you are feeling the lowest level of very bad you know what causes it and when you are ready you can do something that causes you to have a very good day..Version: 2.3.2

I think the app is amazing!!I think the app is amazing, and I love to use it everyday and it always helps me keep up with how I am going and discuss it with others. The app is also clear to understand and easy to use. I use the free part of it, and it is so helpful to understand my emotions a little better! I 10/10 recommend this app! I love it!.Version: 4.10.0

Just amazing! 🦩I have down loaded quite a few of these type of apps and this has been the best one so far 🦋I would highly recommend this app!.Version: 3.4.1

HelpfulI went through a bad time last November so I was looking for an app basically so I had someone to talk to (kinda sad Ik) and this one was free and helpful I’m not doing great atm so I’ve gone back to the app because I don’t have anyone to talk to so having something to say how I feel too rlly helps and it even gave me a helpline just in case I needed it which was nice :).Version: 4.17.9

Not accurate if you use alcohol to alter your moodMy first insight gave me a severe depressive episode. My second insight gave me a moderate depressive episode. The last two weeks were significantly worse for me than the previous two weeks, so I’ve been using vodka to numb my emotions. I tried to end my life because I feel so much worse, but apparently my depressive episode was better based on their questions. I think the moods should be taken into consideration better. Just because I use alcohol to soften my depressive symptoms doesn’t mean I’m getting better. Either way, this app is a great way to track moods. I really like it for that, but I think more questions should be asked in a day. I answered no for crying more often, no for having slowed movements, but I did try to hang myself that night because I felt so depressed. It didn’t take that into consideration. Update: I don’t need to get in touch with anyone. I don’t deserve help. Thanks to this app I know I’ll do something dangerous after multiple days of answering with a very bad mood only..Version: 3.6.0

First ever app review but it deserves one!My university recommended this app after I told my welfare-officer that I was struggling with moderate depression without medication. This app has really helped me to not feel guilty about my emotions which in turn helped me to open up to people about how I’m feeling. Super helpful for making sure I keep checking in with myself; just the act of answering three questions at morning, noon and evening has imbedded a new level of self care I lacked before. If you use this app keep the notifications on you won’t regret it!! My only complaint is when I take the evening questions past midnight (bad sleeping habits) it takes it down for the morning of the next day so I have received help and tips for people struggling more in the mornings when I think it’s before I go to bed that is the problem. Although this complaint has helped me figure out this pattern so it really isn’t that big of an issue. Amazing, thank you so much moodpath❤️.Version: 3.0.2

Absolutely wonderfulI owe an eternal debt of gratitude to the developers of this app. I have suffered from BPD as well as ADHD, PTSD, anxiety...I can be a mess. Anywho, I’ve been in counseling for years, which is all well and good as far as Mon-Fri 9-6 goes, but what about the off hours? Admittedly, I even stressed out about my therapist getting too many messages from me at the answering service (he hasn’t really. He’s pretty awesome tbh). BAM!! Moodpath!! Already there have been times I’ve been in a bad way and Moodpath has tossed me a lifeline. There has been times when I was suddenly stuck in anxiety and despair and Moodpath PROMPTED ME first!! I’d be happy if it just kept my head above water until I could talk to my therapist, but it goes well above and beyond that (this also happened which is what prompted me to write this review). I am full of gratitude!! Love you folks there at Moodpath Central! Cheers!!.Version: 2.8.0

My MindDoc isn’t letting me sign inI was going to log onto MindDoc to check in but it logged me out. I went to go log in and logged in but it keeps on saying no connection possible. I’ve tried to reset my password but it says that my email that I’ve used isn’t a valid email and I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and it still isn’t working.Version: 4.17.5

Super helpful but here’s a suggestionThis app has been super helpful for me this past year. I have had a really bad mental health year and I know I should probably see a therapist but I can’t afford one and the idea makes me super anxious. But being able to put my thoughts and feeling down and not let them boil over and get helpful suggestions and ideas on managing my symptoms has been great. However I have one issue with the newest update; I really don’t like the way the tags appear now. Before there were about 6-10 tags listed by the three main emotions and a search bar to look up or add your own. Now it’s just a huge list and all the tags are mixed up, there is no order. I really wished they were grouped again but they should be at least in alphabetical order. Now when I scroll through them all I just get frustrated and give up. Please fix this!.Version: 3.2.1

It’s amazing!I have had trouble with life recently and this app helped me with these problems! It relaxes my mind and focuses on your feelings and let’s you record down how you are feeling like a diary! And then if there are any recurring thoughts at specific times they can come up with solutions and how to deal with them in a more healthy matter!.Version: 3.2.0

RThis app is really good as it helps my doctors see what’s going on daily but I feel like there should be an anonymous text line associated with this all as well.Version: 4.0.0

Very good toolThis is an excellent app for someone with depression. It is good to be able to write down all your thoughts and feelings with guidance from a professional source. As someone who also suffers from anxiety and OCD, it may be positive to incorporate detection strategies which could lead people with other mental conditions in the right direction. Alternatively, I would love to see this kind of platform for anxiety and other conditions. Even though it’s only directed toward depression, I’ve found it very helpful to track my other conditions. All in all, would highly recommend. If used well, it can increase self awareness and teach you more about yourself, what makes you good and what makes you feel bad, what time of day you feel a certain way and really help you and your psychologist further analyse your behaviour. A very good tool..Version: 2.4.3

Great visual mood trackerThis app is great for tracking your mood. The questions are relevant enough to provide a decent evaluation of your mood state. I’m on month 2 now of usage and so far I’d agree with the analytical assessments. It would be great to be able to download a full graph over time so that u can look for trends as I have bipolar. I love the mindfulness audio and have found the psychoeducation sections useful. Would do far recommend this as it’s the best app I’ve found so far. It keeps u engaged long term and is easy to use..Version: 3.0.9

Amazing coursesAmazing courses on emotions that helped me greatly understand and manage my depression and anxiety in ways my therapist and GP had not! It is just a shame that you cannot switch off the very aggressive shouty mood tracking within the app (even after turning off notifications) Mood tracking is great and essential in early days, but eventually I found tracking my mood became an unhealthy obsession rather than a helpful habit... Have recommended it to many people, including my gp and therapist! The cost of four pounds a month is reasonable and well worth investment - much cheaper than many less helpful and informative apps that are more heavily marketed - and Moodpath helped me with my recovery immensely! I still use the app regularly to help with my mental health ❤️.Version: 3.0.8

Great for teens and young adultsAccording to Moretti and Peled, depression is one of the most common issues of adolescence (2004). Adults experience a clarity of adolescent memories referred to as the reminiscence bump, likely the result of many firsts during this developmental stage (Steinberg, 2014); journaling and clarifying thoughts and emotions on these firsts can help in reflection and self-assurance. Additionally, Steinberg addresses the three R’s of adolescent brain development: reward, relationships, and regulation (2014). MindDoc would be helpful while the adolescent brain is in this stage of neuroplasticity; its design initiates reward-seeking behavior of completing tasks, and the acknowledgement of positive and negative emotions can help a teen learn to self-regulate. If a teen can recognize a pattern in their manic or depressive symptoms, they should be able to project that interpretation into their future and hopefully avoid or at least curb any risky behavior. While this app states that it is appropriate for ages twelve and above, it may be best for adolescents sixteen and older, during the time that their brains are better attuned to problem solving and abstract thought (Moretti & Peled, 2004)..Version: 4.3.0

Great AppI’ve been using this app for almost a year now and have found it really useful. However I wish there was a setting you could use if you are a teenager so you could get questions more relevant to your age. Thank you so much though! Really awesome app 👍🏼.Version: 4.2.2

AmazingI have been struggling with anxiety for years and I found it very hard to deal with, when I found this app I was so happy to think,” Wow, this might work”, This is an app I will always use. It helps me to understand myself and see what I’m like as a person. Thank you.Version: 4.0.0

Time ConstraintsAfter trying several similar, but less thorough and successful apps, I discovered Moodpath. It works great for me and for the most part I’m extremely happy with it. My main issue is the rigidity of the journal time constraints. I frequently go to bed late and consequently rise late as well. By the time I’m up the morning journal time is over and I get the “you missed your morning questions” message. Does it really matter if the journaling is done in the morning? For me, at least, I’m just happy to write three times a day and Moodpath helps facilitate that. Getting a “you missed morning, etc., does not. There may be some reason it’s important they be in those actual time periods, but it feels artificial and rigid to me. Another issue is my phone was misplaced for a couple of days, so Moodpath was not filled in. This message was something along the line of, “your pages or something needed to be reset”. After filling in the pages for a couple months, it was alarming to read. It seemed a bit dire, even though it’s not ideal to skip a few days. I suppose this response makes more sense than my above concern, but for me, I wish there were a Moodpath lite or something similar-I’m being somewhat tongue in cheek, but a little wishful, too..Version: 3.1.2

Can not recommend this app enough! Can not recommend this app enough! I downloaded a few well-being apps a few weeks ago, desperate for an easy to use app that would help me tangibly monitor my moods and Moodpath is the only one that has helped with exactly that. I also check my mood entries before therapy sessions to help make sense of how I’ve been feeling which contributes greatly to the conversations I have with my therapist. The app is SO user friendly and the prompt questions really help identify difficulties / signs of progress that may otherwise go unnoticed.Version: 3.3.0

Beautiful App!I’ve struggled with Bipolar 2 disorder which I only recently was diagnosed with. Therefore, I’m still trying to understand my experiences and my condition. My psychiatrist encouraged me to keep a “mood” journal, and referred me to this app. All I can say, is thank you Moodpath. You’ve helped me immensely in terms of keeping track of my thoughts, emotions, feelings, and everything in between. I highly recommend using this app to keep track of your emotions and daily experiences. The app even offers some “courses” and tools to help with different coping strategies (which I have yet to try), but the fact that the option is available makes the app that much more worth a try. Although some of the courses aren’t free to utilize, I anticipate myself signing up for Moodpath Plus for those extra features soon. I wish more people know about this company, because the creators seem to really care about people struggling with any kind of psychological problems. And even if you don’t, it’s still interesting to see how in depth Moodpath assesses your everyday experiences! Again, thank you so much for helping me map out and organize what I’m feeling every day..Version: 3.2.1

Awesome app for keeping a graph of your moodsI wanted an app to keep track of my moods throughout the day as i have quite a lot of MH issues (lol sorry i know, “who doesn’t.” anyway) I downloaded this 3 days ago and it’s been great so far. After a while i’m sure i’ll start to see a pattern, which is the main reason why i downloaded the app. real good app. download it. yup. do it. i mean, if you want. up to you..Version: 2.4.3

Thankyou.I must say that I am very happy that I have found the app. Moodpath has helped me through thick and thin. Whenever I’m not in the right mindset, I would turn to this app and listen to one of the tracks to further understand my issue. I would 100% recommend this for anyone who might be having troubles with themselves wether that be mentally or physically. Moodpath is truely a fantastic app..Version: 3.0.2

This app has helped me significantlyI downloaded this app in early 2020, when I was in the midst of a very dark period for me personally. In those bleak days it helped me track and keep notice of my mood, and helped me recognise when things were getting worse or improving. I’ve used it consistently since then, and i now have 3 years of data on my mental health - which is a fantastic thing to have. What a wonderful tool. I am doing much better now, and I am so grateful to Mindoc for assisting me in this journey..Version: 4.17.14

Amazing! Just the thing I need!I was always looking for something like this as I started to suffer from depression and was always ashamed about it. I have only been using this app for about 3 weeks and already I am seeing a major difference! If you want to learn more about yourself and how to help you then this app is perfect! It helps track your moods and what you feel and when, it helps you learn more about you, it helps with being more confident and it helps reduce stress. Over all it was it exactly the app I was looking for and sure you love and see a difference not only in your moods but in your lifestyle as well!.Version: 3.0.1

Suicide discussion feels like an empty gestureI love this app and have tried so many before it. I love I can track my moods over time and see the differences. My only issue is the support offered when thoughts of death are present . While the instant msg is FABULOUS if you opt to be connected to someone instantly a number comes up that is useless when called it just says ‘can not be connected’... would love to see that same instant msg system checking in with you all day../ Other than that a great app you should be proud.Version: 3.0.3

Great app!Love this app, it gives you a chance to reflect on your own well being and see past logs and see how you were doing. however a problem that i’ve been having is that you cannot edit logs once you have clicked the tick and confirmed them in. once this happens you can no longer edit it even if you have made a mistake. please add an edit option and i would happily rate this 5 stars.Version: 3.3.0

Where did the questions go?I enjoy keeping track on this app. But yesterday, I didn’t get the daily questions and had to input how I was feeling and such- but without the questions, I don’t feel like I’m getting everything out of the app. Plus I wish there was more free content in discover.Version: 4.0.0

I love it!❤️Moodpath is such a great app. It has really helped me with a lot of emotions and feelings. I super recommend this if you are struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorder and heaps of other things. You can use it just so that someone is checking in on you but its on an app. I do wish it had more questions though.Version: 3.0.6

Help! My data has been deleted!!I really love tho app it has helped me so much but I’m really upset that this morning I’ve opened up the app and its been erase. All my journal entries and everything after months of using this is gone! Is there any way I can fix this! Why has this happened please help ☹️.Version: 3.1.0

Awesome mental health tracking app!!Honestly I love this app! And I use the free version!! It is so so helpful in tracking changes in mood and health in the day and over time. My therapist has found the data really helpful and fascinating. The questions asked are intrusive or antagonising. And if the app is worried about you it gently lets you know to take extra care of yourself which is so lovely. One thing I’d like the app developers to fix is if you save your ‘diary’ entry and go back to edit it, it won’t let you. Like the typing box won’t let me go to the end of what I typed before and change it. Aside from that, love it for what it is being free — as I’m a student. So thank you for allowing me to feel supported when I can’t always support myself..Version: 4.3.0

I really like it!It’s been so helpful for me. I use it when I can and when I remember. At first, when I use it, it doesn’t seem like what I’m doing is making a difference. But days go by and months come and it’s cool to see what I was thinking and seeing on certain days. I can click on my happy days and see what was up, and my sad days and see what’s up. I’m learning what makes me happy. This doesn’t cure anything. If I’m sad, this app won’t fix it. I just answer questions and it logs that I’m sad. It’s like a thermometer, it just tells you the temperature. It doesn’t fix that you might still need a coat. Try it out for 3 months, then see if you like it!.Version: 4.17.6

New Update doesn’t allow me to set up account.Had this app on an old phone & I loved it. But the new update had made it so I can create an account. The email confirmation link is invalid and can’t be opened..Version: 4.0.0

NEEDS CUSTOMIZATION OF TIMINGThis is a really great app and an amazing Idea, the only problem is that the timing of the questions is not customizable. I wake up at 8, so I get questions around 8, 12, and 5.. but that means that HALF MY DAY goes without questions (6pm-1am). This is bad for me because on the days that I have very low (or very high) moods it usually happens late at night. Also I have had multiple of my inputs show as “missed” hours or days after I answer the questions and add a mood which is frustrating. Lastly I wish the app gave me more consistent notifications, sometimes they are early by an hour or late by a couple of hours and sometimes I don't get notifications at all .. personally I find this very stressful because I know I cannot rely on a notification to remind me to log my mood. Overall this is a great app. I highly recommend it for everyone even if you do not have any serious emotional turmoil lol. The meditation and resources are an added bonus however I haven’t used then..Version: 3.0.3

Bad color paletteUpdate: These guys are real gamers. They actually listened and got the colors back to the og’s; while not the exact same with transparency etc with the more orange theme, I'm glad the old colors are back. 2nd time where my problems have been addressed, and i’m very pleased with MindDoc. I’ll leave my original review below: Ig i understand like how companies need to change it up every once in a while, but booting me and many users out of our logged in accounts, and putting a bad color palette over everything is garbage dude. Like why would dark purple be moderate and teal be very good? The old colors looked a lot better, should be able to switch back to them. Also not being able to see my previous months for emotions blows. Literally putting everything behind a paywall almost couldnt log today. Not that i normally do, but the main reason i kept the app was to see my progress post breakup, but if thats gone no need to keep the app. Smh.Version: 4.17.1

So thankful for this appThis app has helped me in so many ways, more than I care to mention. It’s a platform to not only monitor your moods and emotions and generate personalised letters for your health practitioner, but one where you can reflect and be completely honest with yourself. I am so thankful for this app. My only suggestion would be that a document containing your written notes, and dates they were written, be generated along side the doctors letter. Sometimes it is hard to recall or talk about certain events or emotions you’ve experienced during the 2 week period, and this would be a great point of reference for both yourself and doctor..Version: 2.6.0

Excellent app for mental healthI’ve been using this app for around 5 weeks, and it has been incredibly useful in helping me take a moment to check in with myself, but also in monitoring my thoughts, feelings and experiences for better self-awareness. The fortnightly results have been really accurate for me so far. I haven’t used the inspirations part yet, but already love this app. 100% recommended for anyone wanting to easily keep track of their mental health. (Also very grateful that it is free, allowing more people in need to use the app)..Version: 3.1.3

Idea for feelingsHey I think it would be great if under the “bad” category you could say “sickness” or “pain” because sometimes that’s why I’m not feeling good Amazing app! :D.Version: 4.3.2

It was 5 starsI have been using this app for 2 months now and I could not fault it. It had everything I needed, but what I loved most were the meditation tapes. I listened to them every night and I looked forward to listening to them. However in recent times they are now only available if you pay $6.99 (AUD) a month. I don’t understand why they were free initially and now they cost money. This was a huge shock and I have since not been using the app for this very reason. The meditations were some of the best I’ve heard and helped me tremendously, it is a huge shame that I can no longer listen to them without paying money....Version: 3.0.9

Log in issueSince the last update, every single day I have to re-login when I open the app. It’s getting to be very annoying. Is there a setting somewhere to keep me logged in like before or am I just doing something wrong? It also won’t let me see what I’ve typed after the first line until after I finish and save it, but then if I go to edit it and I can’t see any of it again..Version: 4.8.0

Great app that really helps me understand my emotion changing throughout the day(s)The app checks in throughout the day to ask questions on how you are feeling and it assesses those emotions and feelings to give your emotional health. All for free, although there is a paid subscription option that I think allows you to see your emotional health assessment statistics whenever you would like instead of (in the free version) waiting the 2 weeks to get the full assessment, but so far that has not affected me and i’m fine with the free version. It also gives insights that are related to how you answered the questions which are also nice..Version: 3.6.0

Helps with Insight of PatternsThe design of targeted screening questions and the layout of the place to journal is excellent. My doctor has also appreciated reports. I gave 4 stars though mainly because I consistently lose my journaling if I get interrupted or distracted. It would be better if it kept it open for longer in a draft form. I have had to rewrite things so many times that I may not be able to continue using the app. Plus it would be much easier if I were able to go back & edit a journal entry instead of making a new one if I think of something to add a few minutes later. I’d like to be able to open the app without questions sometimes just to refer back to a journal entry or create a report. I would like to be able to save my own set of feelings & activities to check off each time instead searching for others or just using the default ones..Version: 3.1.3

My rescueI was suspicious whether this will be another app with agenda or very limited assistance, No, I was wrong. Within 2 days from zero hopefulness, I guess I reached the score of 2 ,,,,loving this well informed app.Version: 3.0.7

Great mood tracking app! When using the “+” sign for moods, wish there was a way to scroll alphabetically instead of scrolling for each mood and returning to the top list each time you add a new mood! Otherwise convenient app and easy to follow..Version: 3.7.0

Change in what’s assessableA brilliant app that encouraged me to reach out and start getting help from mental health professionals but the recent change in what you can access without paying is bad. It took away some of the parts of the app I found very beneficial when I’m overwhelmed and have nothing else to help. I understand the developers need to make money but I think some things such as the sos take a deep breath and a few others that could really help in a crisis should be made available for those who cannot afford to pay at the moment..Version: 3.0.8

Selfless or Selfish? This is a very good app very helpful! BUT! Why do you people think it’s necessary to limit the help we can get! Why do you think everyone wants to pay for an app you can write and pick a mood on! Yes you may need help financially but I think it’s unfair because not everyone wants to pay so plz make some things free. Because I find it horrible you have to limit the amount of help people need. -Thank you But help doesn’t cost money It’s not a self-less deed if you want something in return..Version: 3.5.2

Helped me so muchI know not everyone wants to share how they feel and I am one of those people I don't like talking about my emotions but I got sick of hiding my emotions and acting like I was okay so I downloaded this app and it has helped to realise what I was dong to myself by hiding my emotions and I always said to myself no you don’t have depression your just acting but this app has helped me realise and see that yes I do have depression but I can get through it and slowing I am getting through it and maybe on day I will be depression free so a recommend this app to everyone and to try it out because it can open your eyes and it can really help you Thank you for this wonderful app.Version: 4.3.3

<3I love this app i’ve been struggling so much recently and this has really helped me ask the right questions and reflect through my day. so glad i downloaded it. i only wish you didnt have to pay for some perks but i am happy with what i have so i dont mind. anyways, this is really well made and i love it!.Version: 4.0.0

Super helpful app!!I got recommended this app due to mental health problems and since I’ve had it it’s changed my views on everything I feel. I love the way the app does not only let me understand my feelings further but it also gives me an obvious indication of what I need to stop doing or continue to do in order to make myself healthier. This app has helped me in many ways and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who’s struggling not only in general, but specifically with understanding their feelings and emotions..Version: 3.1.2

So far so good.My therapist recommended for me to keep track of my moods throughout the day and handed me a xeroxed packet stapled together. I understood the importance but I’m not going to carry around a workbook and a pencil, let alone remember throughout the day and I didn’t think it would be an accurate reflection if I only wrote in it when I felt like I was going off the rails. This app gives reminders so I can see that yeah, there are times when things are going smoothly and when they aren’t I can try to figure out what is triggering my moods wether it was lack of sleep the night before, is it just hormones, did I forget to eat? I’ve only been using it for a week but it makes it easy to keep up on it and I’m curious to see in a month how helpful it is to look back. I haven’t dived in to the articles or found it necessary to upgrade, for now I am just happy to track my moods and it is easy to use..Version: 3.1.5

Great for mood tracking and journaling!I’ve only logged in three mood updates and the app seems to have picked up on symptoms of depression by offering insights on depression. I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for a few years now, and although I’m finally back on an upward spiral, I still have a lot to work through. I’m still debating on therapy, but in the meantime this seems like a great tool for self improvement if you’re stubborn like me and want to handle your problems without another person’s involvement. The insights so far seem a little redundant since some of what was presented to me is practically everyone’s advice for coping with depression, but I’m sure it’ll offer deeper and more interesting insight with time and more mood logs! This was made by professionals after all, and I can tell a lot of care went into making this app..Version: 2.6.6
