✓ Please change it backLike many other people, I’ve had this game for a long time. It has been a source of relaxation and I would genuinely recommend it to friends. The ads at first didn’t bother me. If anything they helped me get more balls, but now everything has been RUINED by this new update. All of my balls are gone (15m was my favorite), the mechanics are different, the layout is completely different, and who’s idea was it to add stop and start levels??? I’m not sure how you expected us to adjust to this bastardized game. Good Bye..Version: 5.0.2

✓ Completely unplayableThis game used to be a fun mindless game that you could have in the background at any time. Now you can't open the app without 3 ads being thrown in your face at a time. They scrapped the old style of the game to bring out brighter colors and threw away any progress people had made before the update. It's now level based and has the candy crush style hearts where you only have 5 lives until you can't play anymore or you have to buy hearts. I am not spending money on a game I used to mindlessly play during a long car ride, which I no longer can without waiting half an hour between each level..Version: 10.0.1

✓ Dislike the forced ad trackingDislike the recent change to force your phone’s settings to be changed. I have “limit ad tracking” turned on, and the game will not allow you to play now unless it is turned off. And the app doesn’t tell you how much the premium version will be before you consent to buy. So, delete it is. The ads are in the worst spot and change frequently as you play, so are quite distracting. Wouldn’t mind an ad between each round, but it’s ridiculous currently..Version: 3.7
✓ New version not goodI used to really enjoy this game, and I had unlocked all the collectible balls. They recently completely revamped it and I just don’t like the game play anymore. They added hearts which I don’t enjoy because I use to endlessly play this game when I was bored. The new game board is more narrow, and they gave the bricks special abilities such as splitting in two or destroying your balls. I dislike this game and will be deleting it. 111%, if you change bb tan 7 years like you changed this game, I’ll be deleting that too. ✓ Can’t remove ads - even when payingI’ve had this game for going on probably 8 years. Recently it has become unusable with the amount of long ads with confusing (and inoperable) exit paths. I noticed an option to pay 1.99 to get rid of ads as a one-time payment and eventually caved. However, I’m still receiving ads! In the middle of playing a game that I use for my nervous habits/ anxiety, ads lasting minutes interrupt. What did I even pay for? Complete scam. ✓ Why?Why? I’ve been playing this game for a few years now. It was my favorite game up until you made this last update “to fix minor bugs”. I I do like some of the improvements but you changed the endless play which has ruined it for me. First, you took away all of my progress, were I was up to 365 I think. I had work very hard to get there and in one update it was all gone. I was very disappointed but thought that maybe it would be alright. I could achieve it again. That’s not going to happen. Well I was terribly disappointed to find out that not only had I lost my progress but the ball and projectile collection I had earned including the * legendary *. I feel like that was a blow because I had to play that ridiculous button/ball game to get them. Finally I don’t like the way it seems to speed up the balls when you are on a higher level and might be making progress You really can’t see what they are doing or why they are doing it. ✓ Another good game killed by developer greedBB-TAN used to be a simple but fun brick-breaking game. If Swipe Brick Breaker was Space Invaders, then BB-TAN was Galaga — undoubtedly inspired by a competing game but with substantial gameplay improvements that helped the game make its mark on the genre. It’s been a game I’ve been happy to come back to every so often for the last half-decade. Sure, it had ads, but that’s okay, because the game was free. All of that was ruined with the recent major update. BB-TAN is now a third-rate Candy Crush knockoff, predatory monetization scheme and all. Now you have to spend a “life” to play a round of what used to be a completely free game. My advice to the developers is to roll back to the last version before this update and pretend the update never happened. Sadly, I don’t see that happening. Like so many iOS developers, 111% saw the dollar signs and went to the dark side. DELETED!.Version: 5.0.9

Basically had all the balls unlocked from the vending machine (which have all been taken away now) this game has been completely changed from how it used to be. Everything long time players worked towards has been reset with no form of compensation. Instead of releasing bbtan3 in this format they decided to completely overhaul an incredible game that used to be set apart from all the life required, time cooldown, pay to play, brick breaking games like this. ✓ Version 3.9.2 is brokenFirst of all, I have to say that I LOVE this game, have played it for years, and is one of the very few games on my iPhone. However, with the newest version 3.9.2 there seems to be major glitches: 1) the BBTAN alien is no longer on the screen shooting the ball cannon, 2) I have accumulated over 2000 shots in a turn but the Connor never runs out of ammo like it did in the past (I have to quit the game to reset), 3) after restart only the top line of bricks appears (even though some lower level bricks may have remained from the previous level), 4) the guiding directional arrow used before you shoot is now below the game play area (where the coin counter and ad button are). Please fix this game. There is something innately satisfying in smashing digital bricks with a variety of balls exhibiting different characteristics. Yes, I know there are other brick&ball games on the App Store (presumably pale imitations of BBTAN) but BBTAN is like an old friend - you just pick up where you left off and enjoy the time together..Version: 3.9.2
✓ Good Game RuinedI loved BBTAN. It was a fun way to pass the time and was perfectly done. I eagerly earned coins with the hopes of getting the ball I wanted, and then finally got it and worked tirelessly to improve my high score. Then they decided to update… I opened it to play for the first time since the update tonight, and it was terrible. I hate the level aspect, the aiming is different, my balls are gone, and the whole game feels like cheap crap now. After about 6 years or so of playing, it’s gonna be deleted from my phone. ✓ This is a joke right?I’m was amazed when I saw the new app icon for BBtan. I’ve been playing this game since 2015ish and loved it. But after opening the game I was filled with disappointment. I open it to see a chest icon that you “level up” and a completely different art style. Why in the world would you change the iconic art style. The blocks now look like they come from the average brain rot mobile game. It feels like the soul of this game got thrown to the curb for a cash grab. The aim control feels like trash as well. That is not to say that there isn’t quality of life improvements such as a automatic ball return when you break all the blocks on screen, and a fast forward. But unfortunately the good does not surpass the bad. I was so close to unlocking all the different balls you can unlock from the vending machine in the previous version. ✓ Update is a different game? 👎This was a great game that I used to play all the time, (and have played for almost a decade??) but with the update it’s an entirely new game without all of the features I loved! I can’t use the tiny ball that is my favorite, my score is gone, and it now seems to speed up the balls, when half the fun was watching the balls just bounce around endlessly (or being able to take a break and other things while they bounced) slowly destroying bricks. It was so soothing to watch, and satisfying to clear a board and watch the numbers go up, but that doesn’t work the same anymore either. ✓ Why, fix something that is not brokeI liked the last version. It was better because there was no stop and play. I hate the new one because there’s so many stops and play and I have to hit so many buttons to get to play. I do like the new one for only one reason and that is all the balls go fast when it’s going to take a long time and once all the boxes are gone, the game stops, if that was the only change you made the latest version it would be perfect. ✓ New updateThe game has been my absolute favorite. I’ve been consistently playing it for over 6 years. Recently, there had been an update. I immediately deleted the app. It is now a completely different game. Maybe one day I’ll return and download it again, but it was so surprising to see how it had changed so drastically. ✓ If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!I had long-time running game on this app of 4410 (which spans over 8 months of playing) but then they released this new update and I lost all that progress and they reset my game. Not only that, but I had purchased the legendary 0.11 mm ball but they updated the game and removed it from my account and won’t let me restore that purchase. It’s a shame—I loved the original game. ✓ Waste of my time nowHave had this game since 2017. Would pick up and play whenever I had a few minutes or waste a whole session on this. After this new update everything is just wasted. Lost all my balls my high score which I had as a memory with my late mother. You guys really thought you had something.
