Heart Rate PRO for Negative User Reviews

No goodAbsolutely useless as it keeps on saying try again. A waste of £3-99 and I request that you refund my payment. A previous version on my iPhone 8 Plus worked perfectly but I downloaded this version onto my new iPhone 11 Pro max and its useless..Version: 6.0

App should have paid me.It’s absolute junk. It’s not accurate..Version: 6.0

Ads on pro version hilarious.I think developers doesn’t know what is the pro versions for. Very glitchy and unprofessional app.Version: 2.0

Pas bonFonctionne une foi sur 10. Comment fait on pour se faire rembourser?.Version: 1.7

Somewhat accurate, but no connection to Apple Health“Pro” app that interrupts with full screen ads. Have an iWatch but always nice to have a backup. Measured 80 on app, 83 on wrist. No tie-in to Apple Health so deleting..Version: 2.0

Total garbage.Tried seven times to use this app and could never get a reading completed because ads popped up every time before it could be completed. Don’t waste your time with this crap app. 100% waste of time. Should be taken off of the App Store. If I could rate this app a negative star I would..Version: 6.0

Worst appAll I see is adds I hate it.Version: 6.0

Unable to turn off spamSpam in app after measure. Cannot turn off..Version: 2.0

Doent work on iPad Pro 12.9No Reading.Version: 2.0

Remove Ads from Pro!It is a joke with Ads in Pro..Version: 2.0

It works, but needs continuous mode.It does its job and does it well, but it needs a continuous mode. It jumps around a lot, whereas most monitors have a sort of lag/average mode. This one (probably; can't test without continuous mode) gives your true heart rate, live. If you're healthy and unstressed, your heart rate changes every time you breathe in or out. Most HR monitors average this number. This one doesn't do that until the very end, and I'd like to see that my live heart rate is, for biofeedback purposes..Version: 1.7

Heart appOnly works occasionally and is spoilt by ads..Version: 3.0

WorthlessNever could get it to work. Played with it for half hour, tried different fingers, couldn’t get an accurate reading no matter what I tried. Waste of money.Version: 1.7

No StarsU can never finish the process because of the incessant interruptions of the ad..Version: 6.0

Doesn’t even workAbsolutely useless.Version: 2.0

UselessI have the iPhone 11 Pro Max. This app doesn’t fit on the screen. It won’t save my heart rate..Version: 6.0

Minor bugs fixed?????Looks like all they did was add full page ads after every measurement. An occasional ad and I would have kept and you would have earned $$ from the ads. Too many ads like you have now is a delete and you earn nothing. Bye!!.Version: 2.0

Ads Appear Using ProEvery touch made on this app brings up an ad. Deleting. Waste of money..Version: 5.0f

Ads on Pro??What a joke get ads on pro version.Version: 2.0

Does not work.Does not pick up a single heart beat. I have an app called Cardiograph and it works fantastic. I am glad this app was free today, because that is all it is worth. I deleted it!.Version: 1.7

Not workingIphone7 app not working ! Flash turns on, my finger is positioned correctly but nothing !.Version: 6.0

Bad appIt is fake app with adds.Version: 6.0

Way too many ads. Use to use daily but now neverThis app is very good and would have received 4/5 stars But the ad over usage is way too distracting. Too bad - was a very handy app..Version: 6.0

Don’t bother...It’s called “Pro” but is ad after ad after ad. Cool technology but I don’t need to see the same add three or four times just to get one heart rate count. Use your fingers and your iPhone’s stop watch to count your heart rate faster and more accurately..Version: 6.0

Not worth itDownloaded the Pro version Followed instructions to measure pulse, the circle gets to 70% then BAM! “An ad will load in 3..2..1..” X the Advert, App crashes. Restart app and same issue.Version: 6.0

CrashesPaid for something that is constantly crashing. please fix it for a 5 star review..Version: 6.0

Doesn’t work. At all.Tried it a few times. Totally worthless..Version: 1.7

Extremely UnreliableThis app is the personification of everything everybody hates about the Internet The provider should not be allowed to sell such poorly designed apps Don’t waste your money! Hardly ever works. I doubt you’ll ever get your money back either.Version: 1.4

Heart Rate ProShould have read the reviews before purchase. It is worthless. A waste of money..Version: 1.4

Hopeless...Just rubbish. The free one is 10 times better, reliable. DEFINITELY NOT worth the month. Rip off!.Version: 1.4

Free version uselessCan’t use free version because it’s all videos & ads. It appears to have potential, but because the free version is so tied to advertising, one can’t make a judgement. Therefore I won’t even consider buying it..Version: 6.0

Pretty BadGot it for free but it was a ripoff at that price. Pulse measurements were plus/minus 30% compared to actual medical gear - far too inaccurate, even for casual use. The constant pop-up ads severely interfere with its operation..Version: 2.0

PoorThis app only works sometimes. It measures and then in the last second the recording goes to 0 and you have to start all over again. This is most frustrating and it happens time and time again. I am definitely holding my finger as the instructions say..Version: 1.3

Horrible!! Waste of money!!!My HR ranged from 52-97 bpm in the same minute.Version: 1.4

Too many advertsFar too many adverts, useless when you are checking blood pressure and are supposed to be still.Version: 6.0

Heart rate proWorks when it feels like it. I do not recommend.Version: 2.0

AdsIf you are going to add ads to a pro version of an app, I’ll just delete and move on to one of your competitors. No thanks!.Version: 2.0

App is not accessible to the blindThis app does not work with the Apple voiceover accessibility features. Please update.Version: 2.0

Doesn’t workThe newest update added larger ads and now it doesn’t work at all. Shuts down after it finishes the measurement. Glad it was free.Version: 2.0

Ad AttackFOLLOW UP: After a “bug fix” update I get ads popping up during the measurement step in HeartRatePRO. Unworkable! PREVIOUSLY: I didn’t use this for a while. Today I found that every time I touched a button I got an ad—as well as ads while the app was in the middle of a reading. I’ll try another time...but at this point it is unworkable..Version: 5.0f

InaccurateA complete an utter ridiculous waste of time. I tried multiple times. I got rates varying from 52-72 after at least 10 attempts. I manually took my pulse, which is 86. I am an experienced nurse practitioner and am capable of capturing a correct heart rate (HR) manually, so this is not operator error. You’re better off checking your pulse by putting two fingers up to the front/side of your neck, apply gentle pressure and move your fingers vertically and slowly until you can feel your pulse through your carotid artery. Now using a stopwatch or a wristwatch with a second hand, begin counting the beats (wait for the second hand to hit 12, 3, 6, or 9) to making counting for an appropriate length of time easier. Options for this is to count for: a) 15 seconds and multiply the number by 4; or b) 30 seconds and double it; or c) count for the full 60 seconds. There you have it... an accurate heart rate (for FREE!). By the way, do you really trust developers unable (or too lazy) to describe their invention/app, in their ad no less, without multiple grammatical or spelling errors? For me... nope, no way! Check each of the three pages they have of “how to” directions. If you want to sell something... for gosh sakes man... proofread everything you post/write in your ad, or hire someone to do it for you. It’s just common sense to “look” professional, even if your “invention here” is worthless. I tried it because it’s free on AppAdvice, but now I will be deleting it. :(.Version: 1.7

FakeIt’s totally fake app!.Version: 1.7

Worthless waste of moneyThis app completely stopped working after one week. Plus, it wasn’t accurate when it was working..Version: 6.0

Worked well.Just downloaded the app. I also have the Argus app. I took my pulse on both, seconds apart and got the exact same reading. The Argus app does not make you watch an advertisement before it displays your pulse ( it has very few advertisements). I do not need two pulse apps, so this one goes due to the way the advertisements are handled..Version: 2.0

GarbagePlace finger as instructed and… nothing. Never works..Version: 6.0

It does not work👎🏼 , I want my money back please.Version: 1.0

Annoying ads too oftenIt takes few attempts to measure correctly, 2 ads displayed per attempt.Version: 3.0

QuejaEl la foto del anuncio de Apple aparece un tensiometro para medir alta y baja tensión por eso lo compré pero solo mide pulsaciones y Apple no me permite el reintegro.Version: 6.0

Full of ads and inconsistentMy title says it all..Version: 2.0

Your heart rate and blood pressure will increase with the ads!!!An ad every 15 seconds.Version: 6.0

Refuses to detect my fingerThis is the only camera-based heart rate app I’ve ever tried that cannot get a reading from any of my fingers. It insists that I’m not doing it right, even when I do it the exact way the in-app help says, and the same way that other heart rate apps accept with little trouble. I’ll stick with the very old, but still completely functional, heart rate app I’ve been using for years..Version: 2.0

App worksQuite well but “drops out” occasionally and has to be restarted. It would also help if one could export the data for proper analysis..Version: 1.5

Too many adsIt started out as a clean app. Now it’s riddled with ads for almost every step you take with this app..Version: 5.0f

How can this workAn ad starts every two second. EVERY TWO seconds. Even when you close out and reopen the ap. My heart rate is up due to frustration. Very poor ap.Version: 6.0

Ads ads adsIt spends less time getting a heart rate than showing adverts. Absolutely useless app. Avoid like the plague..Version: 6.0

Ad errorCan’t get it to work. Half way into the assessment, it says it will show an ad, than it shuts down. Deleted the app, useless.Version: 2.0

Not so goodAwkward read outs and history, and not worth paying for it. Dissatisfied and wish I could get a refund..Version: 1.0

Glad I didn’t pay for itWhen it gives me a pulse rate it’s wrong. Other time it gives me a zero. I guess I’m dead..Version: 1.7
