✓ Best Value based on what you can monitorI have loaded several of these OBD apps. So far in my opinion for my E70 X5 BMW this app has helped the most when it comes to seeing what is going on with all my sensors….Version: 4.5
✓ Bought to register a new 12 volt battery on my i3.Seemed a bit extreme to spend over $30 for the app but worked well to register the new battery and clear some error codes. Probably will download the Bimmercode app next..Version: 4.4

✓ *****Easy to use App with plenty of sensor values to choose from. Easily search for the sensor values you need with the search tool as there is 50+ to choose from with a customisable dashboard so you can have all your favourites ready to see. Only annoying thing is the boost pressure values are listed as hPa, not PSI or Bar, no settings to change this either which I would assume could be easily integrated into the app. Hopefully the developer can sort this out. Never the less this is a great app which still deserves 5 stars.Version: 2.0.1
✓ Marth06Bought it for my F80 M3 a couple of years ago Works well. I bought it mainly so could turn on and off the active sound also to control the exhaust flaps. But it also displays a heap of diagnostic info. I use the Carista adapter although I would get the adapter they list on the bimmercode app so you can code as well..Version: 2.0.1

✓ Great appThis app does exactly what it should. It lets you clear errors, play with the exhaust flap and ASD, look at sensor values yes they are in Celsius and the like but I don’t mind. Maybe they will update it to Fahrenheit in the future. But I don’t mind. It’s super easy to use. And they updated to to English. So even better. ✓ Pretty SolidThis is a pretty solid app for clearing codes, I use Carly as well and this one is much faster and smoother. Well worth the price Only one issue is all codes are in German, you will have to copy text and translate to English. I emailed the developer and there hopefully will be a English version sometime in the future. Pick up a Vgate WiFi gen 3 adapter off eBay to use this app and you’re good to go..Version: 1.3

✓ Worth every pennyI already had BimmerCode and had oodles of fun messing around with the ECUs, primarily to disable AS&G and auto-locking, but found a myriad of things to fiddle with as well. So I plumed for BimmerLink, primarily to monitor my DPF (and gain a better understanding of when it works), and request a regeneration at will. I have a Veepeak OBD adapter which connects without issue to BimmerCode and lets me straight in. BimmerLink is the same. Immediately found it and let me monitor. As it happened the first time I connected it a regen was actually running, so I kept an eye on it and when the soot levels built up to 25g I requested a regen. Within five minutes the level was back to 8g. That'll do me! In addition to this valuable tool, there is a bewildering array of sensors which can be monitored; and I mean bewildering. If you can think of a sensor, this app will let you monitor it real time. There's a load of stuff in the app that my car doesn't have (like the sound generation etc.), but anything that can be found on the car is available. And if there is an issue with the vehicle, this app will immediately show what's working and what isn't. Superb app, worth every penny. I wish I'd had tech like this in the 80s and 90s; would have made owning vehicles so much easier..Version: 4.4

✓ OutstandingThis is a must have for BMW owners. The list of what this can read with your OBD dongle is incredible. Frankly it gives too much information. BMWs are computers on wheels with multiple excuses, each one capable of tons of info. If you want basic info, you have that too. First, when I was replacing my 328i’s exhaust valve actuator and then replacing my rear brake pads since you need to retract the electronic parking break fully in order to push the caliper piston back without wrecking things. ✓ Possibly the best BMW Diagnostic app aroundI wrote a review about this app about a year ago and was impressed with it. Now with the constant updates and additional features it is the only tool you need. While some other competitors charge an ongoing expensive fee this is a once off charge which makes purchasing this very attractive option. With the developers are constantly adding new features and updating it, it is a no brainer. For me I am after raw features and data not gimmicks and a fancy backdrop. I have used this App on both a BMW X1 E84 and a BMW X5 E70. I am using this app with a generic Bluetooth adapter TONWON and it worked well when setting it to the Vgate Bluetooth option. There is no need to buy an adapter that only works with the app. There are plenty of other generic adapters which you can try, I did try a wifi adapter but found Bluetooth to be the most stable for me..Version: 4.2

✓ Amazing.Just amazing. Great value for money considering it’s not a subscription scam much like ‘other’ apps that make you pay for their dedicated OBD dongle! What’s more important is that the developers act on feedback! I had some issues with some parameters not working properly and once I submitted feedback everything was working in the next update. I’ve registered batteries, check my battery charge and use it to view all sorts of parameters such as coolant, oil and engine temp etc. I just wish they would introduce more themes/styles for the Dashboard, so that more values could fit on the screen..Version: 4.4

✓ THE GREATEST BMW APPThe app is very easy to setup and use. It is a great compliment to BimmerCode. I have both apps and the both have different functions. BimmerLink is for clearing any fault codes and BimmerCode is to changing how my car functions like lights coming on and how doors and windows are locked. They both have there on vital functions and are both great app’s. I wasn’t able to see faults in BimmerCode so that’s where BimmerLink comes in handy. They both work with my ODB2 adapter VGate Pro Bluetooth 4.0. So I’ve got the best of both worlds with one adapter. Both apps can be setup for what you want to see of your most desired functions. ✓ SRS Airbag Warning Light ResetWhen a SRS airbag warning light came up on my 2017 BMW X1, I did some research on the BMW forums; identifying an loose electrical connector under the passenger side seat.
