Lift Log: #1 Weightlifting Log for Positive User Reviews

WonderlandI really love this app , I just started hitting the gym recently and this is a great way to keep track of what I’ve been doing . To improve myself in the future. Only suggestion for this app is to add the option to write down sets to your workout.Version: 2.1

Nice!Too many work out apps have too many bells and whistles, but this app keeps it simple and easy to use! I do wish it had a spot for recording non-weight exercises (time, distance etc) though. It would be nice to track cardio in the same app, and I bet you could add it without losing the simplicity..Version: 2.0

Helps heapsAllows me to easily log lifts and keep progressive overload at the front of my program either by weight or by reps and etc. highly suggest if you are trying to be the best you possible & if you aren’t I highly suggest you begin the journey..Version: 2.3

Simple But Just Right Lifting Log!!!This is the perfect lifting log for anyone wanting to easily track workout sessions, reps and weight. Nothing complicated to worry about with no extra steps other than just documenting what you are lifting, how many reps and weight used with the idea of being able to track progress and improvements over time. Quick and easy and keeps you lifting versus wasting time on your phone. It has a cool download function so you can put your workouts into a spreadsheet and see your improvements but also a new chart/graph function in the updated version. Perfect lifting app. Nothing else needed..Version: 2.1

👍🏻 top serviceI was highly satisfied with the creators service and flexibility. He responds rapidly and likes hearing consumer feedback. As for the app itself, it certainly gets the job done and is very easy and straightforward to use. I have logged over 850 workouts on it and will continue logging many more..Version: 2.3

A O.K.I was searching around for an app that could meet my needs but couldn’t find one that let you log more than three routines without subscribing, and this one here does the trick. Real basic, not the most intuitive or convenient, but does exactly what I need it to. If you’re just wanting a simple log of your training this will meet your needs..Version: 2.1

Love it - but you can't log future workouts!I love this - I was looking for something I could enter my own workouts, but....there needs to be a way to add future workouts so on my free time I can log my workouts for the week. Also, the ability to add the "set" amount along side the reps would be great!!!!! If there could be an option to add future workouts, I would with put a doubt give 5 stars!.Version: 2.1

Export DataThe export workout data functionality requires you to register with a phone number; however, this registration functionality ‘can’t access the network.’ As a result, you can’t export workout data. Why even require one’s phone number? Why not just create a CSV file that can be emailed?.Version: 2.1

Exactly what I neededI feel like this application was developed by someone working out, struggling to find an application that suit their needs and decided to make one themselves. This application is very simple and not distracting, and has just enough intelligent features to be better than it pen and paper, but not too many that you close the app out of confusion or feature overload..Version: 2.1

Simple to use yet powerful lifting logThis is the best lifting log app in the app store. It's dead simple to use and very intuitive, yet very powerful with charts and lots of data (if you want it). Best of all, it's free and the developer puts a lot of work into updating it and constantly adding features based on users' feedback. I use the app a few times a week and I couldn't go to the gym without it!.Version: 2.1

Best Lift Tracker in the StoreIt does everything you need it to without being bogged down with a bunch of unnecessary junk like every other lift tracker app out there. If you’re the kind of person who used to track your lifts with a pen and paper or the Notes app this will be perfect for you..Version: 2.1

Great app...easy to useI love this app and use it multiple times per week. Updated recently and all is well. I really like being able to go back through my workouts and having weight and reps easily accessible. Better than carrying a notebook around the gym....Version: 2.1

The best appLift log logs your lifts. It's as simple as simple can be. But it's not limited. All I need in the gym is a way to record how much I've picked up and how many times I've done it. And nothing else. I want to create my own workouts with my own exercise names. And lift log makes that easy. You may have a need for an app that gives you a database of exercises? You might want to look for that elsewhere. But there is no easier way to track your workouts than lift log. So you can download it knowing you're going to like it!.Version: 2.1

Update it pleaseIt keeps saying network error when i try to log it my phone number. Also, if possible please try and see if you can make it so that you can connect it to the health app.Version: 2.1

Nailed itThank you, I was about to google tutorials for creating simple data tracking iPhone apps when I found yours. Elegant, simple, intuitive solution to my problem. No frills, no distractions, just a way to quickly log your progress and improve. Thank you again!.Version: 2.1

It is A Good App But Has Frustrating BugsThe key problem I have with it is that it does not seem to track the date/time on my iphone. I worked out yesterday, and today. It bunches all the exercises under "today". So, it mixes up my splits. I don't know what is causing this or how to fix it. The support feature on the app also does not seem to work. I found an email and twitter address to contact the developer; hope either still works? Otherwise the app is great: simple and easy, and just what I need..Version: 2.3

Poor customer serviceI had 2 years worth of workouts on this app and I opened it Sunday to find all of that gone and a $8/month subscription required. This should only require a one time purchase. C’mon man! Look at your latest reviews since last week. You lost a lot of customers..Version: 2.3

SimpleWorks good nice simple easy to use design. Would be nice if I could edit the names of entered work outs or delete them. Also be good if I could enter distance/time for cardio workouts.Version: 2.1

One of the most used apps I haveI’ve been using this app since Feb 2016 and it’s been a godsend for recording my lifts. Simple, not complicated and easy to use. It also allows you to graph your lifts to see how you’ve progressed which is very helpful. Highly recommend this app if you’re looking for a way to log your lifts and track your growth..Version: 2.1

Great customer service and a solid, easy to use interfaceEdit: the creator rolled out a subscription requirement that I objected to (I wasn’t a huge fan of the way he rolled it out). Jake, the creator, answered my complaints directly and immediately, in a way that i really appreciated. Seems like the app is run by one guy who is really striving to do right by his customers. After he addressed my issues I couldn’t be happier, and I’m back to wholeheartedly recommending the app. It’s very intuitive, and provides just the right amount of functionality. I have been frustrated with how many useless features other workout logs have (honestly, I don’t need videos of what a bicep curl looks like- I just want to be able to log what I do at the gym), so having a stripped down but functional option has been great. The app is incredibly easy to use. No unnecessary bells and whistles, which is exactly what I was looking for. And Jake (the developer) is incredible. I had a few suggestions, so I emailed them through the feedback option on the app. He got back to me with tips and great feedback within 20 minutes. Literally the best customer service I've ever gotten from an app. I can't recommend this app enough..Version: 2.3

Simple and easy to use on the flyIt’s a simple log to replace a pencil and note book. Makes it easy to record your work outs as you go. No pre-planning necessary. Just lift and log it. Easy to repeat, add, edit, delete sets. Also, it automatically highlights any 1 rep max - nice bonus..Version: 2.3

The rave reviews are justifiedLiftLog is lean and mean, while also managing to be slick and stylish. Set up and data entry are quick, intuitive, and easy. I started using this app 3 months ago to track my weightlifting, and each week I not only see incremental progress in the amount I am lifting, but also I expand the repertoire of what I have the app track. Great app, full stop..Version: 2.1

Simple and Clean DesignIf you are looking for an easy to use app to log your workouts, look no further. I’ve tried many of the workout tracking apps on the store and they are overly complicated with too many useless features while not being good enough in the features that matter. This app gives you the simplicity of paper and pen logging in a clean, quick interface. This app completely replaced my pen and paper and I now use this to log my lifts. It enables me to add my own exercises and name them whatever I want and provides an extremely simple and intuitive interface for adding the weight and repetitions for each set. There is no clutter and I am able to log each set within a matter of seconds. And that’s exactly what a logging app should be - no B.S. - just log my set and get back to work. Another feature I appreciate besides the logging is the progress tracker. For any of your exercises you can see a chart that displays your progress on that particular exercise in a clean, easy to understand format. I like looking back on some of my lifts (bench, deadlift, etc.) to see how much progress I made in a visual format. It motivates me even more to keep progressing. I recommend this app to anyone serious about logging and tracking each and every set. Five stars well deserved..Version: 2.3

Best weight lifting tracking app on the storeI wanted an app that just allowed me to log my lifts to track my progress. Other similar apps were frustrating making me add exercise routines, that is possible with this app, but offers much more flexibility and feels much more like a diary to track my weights. It also has a feature to show how your lifts are improving for each exercise which is great..Version: 2.3

Simple and does the jobIt does exactly what I need it to do, no more and no less. If you want to keep track of weight and reps for certain exercises then this is really all you need..Version: 2.3

MrSimply the easiest, most straight forward workout logging app out there for those who just need to track how much weight they lift and to track progress. Absolutely love it for it's simplicity. It would definitely be good to implement reps tracking under stats as well as setting goals.Version: 2.1

Near-perfectOnly thing I would change is having the day log sort the lift entries by specific exercise. If I do a superset and input data after each set for each lift it alternates back and forth which makes it harder to go back and look at a few days down the road. Other than that, what’s there to complain about?.Version: 2.3

I loved this appI really loved this app and had just been using it a couple weeks. I was in the middle of my workout and logging things as I go and I got the subscription pop up. I’m fine with the creator wanting to do subscriptions and totally understand it but the way it was rolled out bothered me. I didn’t have a warning so if I didn’t pay for the subscription my data would’ve been gone, as far as I’m aware. So I purchased the $7.99 subscription but I’ll be cancelling because I just can’t budget almost $10/month for a log. I really understand moving to subscriptions but I was irritated that I had no warning and I didn’t want to lose my logs..Version: 2.3

Great basic appI was looking desperately for an app to track my lifts, show my progress, and be easy to use (search for lifts etc). I tried about 10 before I settled on this one! I have been so pleased with the simple interface and easy to search function. I like that it can track whatever you want, so I’m able to compare what weights I used in for different sets and reps. This is useful for CrossFit and powerlifting. Recently the creator added a subscription rate which does seem a little steep for the function, but he is easy to talk with and understands our concerns. I’m hoping to see more improvements and a better pricing structure soon, but the app itself is awesome!.Version: 2.3
