✓ Too Many Ingredients!I really like the app. The photos of the dishes are beautiful. However, many of the recipes require too many ingredients. I follow several vegan YouTubers, and they’ve managed to make plant-based cooking simple without breaking the bank or buying a bunch of ingredients that will only be used once. People nowadays are trying to prepare quick meals that are healthy and budget-friendly. This app is for people who have a lot of time to shop and cook. Or people who don’t work..Version: 1.2.0

✓ Consider availability of ingredients…I got the app but had to give it up soon after. I wish there was more thought into making recipes friendly for subscribers who may not have some vegan products available in their area/country - like vegan butter, vegan cream etc. why not teach us how to make one from scratch and more self-sufficient? I’m sure there must be some raw ingredients that are more easily accessible to make it. Also, most recipes are very much into American cuisine, would have wished for more variety..Version: 2.0.2

✓ Kind of skimpy and fatteningI love the pictures and the idea, but was disappointed that there were so few recipes and the ones there were don’t fit into my Weight Watchers plan. You can make anything “taste good” by piling on salt, fat and sugar.... you just can’t maintain good health if you actually eat it. Just a pretty picture book, nothing here for real vegans to eat for their daily meals. No eye for nutrition, only indulgence..Version: 1.2.1

✓ App is buggyRecipes are great but the app is buggy. The last sentence of every step is missing from recipes. Also, when phone Lock Screen is activated your spot in the recipe is lost and the app resets to the Home Screen. Very annoying having to try and find the recipe again every time the app resets. Usually the recipes I’ve tried to open aren’t in the app, and I have to copy and paste the link into my browser, and often there are syntax errors when doing this. ✓ Boring & not updated enough .I downloaded this app not knowing that I’d have to pay $2.99 for it . With that being said I expected something 💯 times better . Sadly, I was let down . ✓ Incomplete access to recipes on websiteI just purchased the app specifically to print a recipe for gluten free graham crackers on her website. Printing of recipes is blocked unless, apparently, one pays for the app. Well, the recipe is not to be found using the app. Very unhappy, both with the greedy denial of printing (what’s the difference if you can read the recipe), and the incomplete recipe access once the subscription is paid. I bought the initial book, but this ticks me off. Don’t look for any more purchases by me. Update - there is no way to communicate directly with either the app developer or the chef. Also, there was no response to the review I posted. It’s fair to say that I would give NO stars for this app, and now for the chef. I’ll find vegan recipes and lifestyle support from someone with at least a passing interest in communicating with the folks who paid for her book and app! Shame on you..Version: 2.0.2

✓ Only 4 recipes - avoidWarning to potential app purchasers - DO NOT PURCHASE or believe the hype of the other reviews, unless you want to pay $4 for 4 recipes and then to be ignored when you ask for support to fix this. It’s a pity because the recipes on her Insta look good. I contacted the app help and waited weeks - no reply. I DM’d her on Insta asking for help and waited - no reply. I contacted the app’s support again and waited - no reply. Despite this, she is still posting regularly on Instagram and spruiking products. Although it’s a pretty small cost it leaves a bad taste in my mouth because selling something that turns out to be not as advertised/broken, then totally ignoring your customers when they ask for help and give ample time to respond, is at odds with the ‘wholesome’ and ‘kindness’ brand/image she presents ...
