After deciding to try it again, I find not only does it access everything on your main drive, It also is linked to all the other drives hooked into my Mac. What a pleasant surprise! I have a cloud drive and the app for it is straight TRASH and Plex is too slow, cumbersome, and makes my laptop nearly overheat every time I have used it. There’s nothing out there like this app. Hopefully you will continue to improve this app and add lots more features. ✓ Foundational App for Mac EcosystemWhy does everyone not REQUIRE this app if they have more than one Apple device? It is the connecting thread that makes MAC an eco-system and not so many stand-alone islands of information. After a month of flawless use, the app failed to connect. Within minutes of a distress support email to Evgeny, a firewall issue at my end was found as the culprit, fixed and all back to flawless performance. ✓ Good app (Bit glitchy vid playback)Haven't spent much time on it yet, but bit glitchy trying to play some video files (.mov). Seems okay with mp4's and flv but with even small .mov files playback starts then stops after couple seconds. Attempts to restart playback jumps back to the start or just locks up and won't resume at all, so far no way to get the vid to play through further or to the end. Attempts to scroll ahead in video also no good. The .mov files are on SSD drive via Mac and are very small (just a few MB) so should stream through no problem but so far unable to determine what's causing the glitch. Will fiddle more and report back with results, espec if discover solution. :-) App still gets 5 Stars tho! (IPad Air2 64gb, iOS 10.3.2, also same on iPad Air2 64gb, iOS 11.4.1).Version: 5.7.5

✓ What happen!I loved this app up until its last update(revision). Now it’s super slow and sluggish. A monitor so ago I could stream a movie on my iPhone from my Mac with no problem. Scrolling, scrubbing forward and back while watching a movie created little buffering. When I try that now the video freezes. It’s done period. ✓ One word to describe it, ridiculous!I've always been searching for an app that could allow me to access my files from my Mac to my phone and I found it, it was Air Video HD, it was cool but it wasn't complete. You couldn't play music or look at your photos; So I went hunting for that perfect app and here it is. This app can let you play videos, listen to your music and look at your photos, unfortunately it can't let you read your book but it allows you to open it via ibook etc... ✓ Once helper app is installed, works greatI missed the second bale mention of the need for a helper app on the Mac OS side, but once you install that and give it access to Accessibility features on the Mac, it works nicely. I am a bit worried about what I have done for security when that was installed, so I am keeping my eyes open. Update: I was impressed the developer reached out to me to explain the Accessibility access is only needed for one of the other App, and he was extremely helpful and polite. So, when my MacOS UI froze, I came back to the store and bought the Remote Control App to see how frozen it was. Both Remote Drive and Remote Control functioned as normal, but my displays were frozen. But I now have a tool to work through what is now proven to be the UI or the actual GPU. Some things about the Apple TV version: The UI could be updated, with perhaps options for background screen color and folder color preferences. Also, the layout could be simplified so that not so much space is wasted on the left side of the screen, allowing more space for listing files. The Mac Helper installer works very well and it’s the easiest, quickest and most reliable method of syncing up an Apple TV to a computer on the same network. Well done and keep up the good work.
