✓ Invaluable app for the WHWFound this app to be a solid go to guide for the trail, downloadable map was a huge plus and, while never a true substitute for an OS map & compass, is a fantastic go to guide. List of amenities is also useful, one recommendation might be to include guidance on where you can and cannot ‘technically’ wild camp around shores of Lomore. ✓ Worthwhile purchaseI have recently walked the WHW and found this app invaluable. I took a paper map with me (always a good back up) but never used it as this app with the downloaded trail was really helpful. The WHW is well signposted but now and again it was good to check in with the app that we were on the correct route. Lots of local information included as well. ✓ Very helpful!I just completed the WHW using this app, and it was a Godsend! Lots of helpful parts, very detailed, almost mile-by-mile descriptions of the trail, and helpful tips and info (elevation details, distance tracker, etc.). I downloaded the map to use offline, since there are many places along the trail with no service, and it worked great! I was able to find myself on the map every time! ✓ Brilliant walking aidJust completed the West Highland Way with the help of this app. The level of detail and ease of use are exemplary, but the ability to check whereabouts and direction of travel with a glance while offline, especially when the weather closes in, make it a fantastic walking companion. So much easier than wrestling with paper maps (although these should still be carried as backup). Eugene was very responsive to an emailed suggested addition, too.
