✓ Frequent Glitches, Locks and Ads...But when I play the app constantly locks the screen when I start a mission (to which the only fix is restarting the app, rendering that energy wasted), forces ads onto the screen constantly (even when I just watched an ad) and generally seems pay to win oriented... It honestly is hard to call this game fun because of all those “features.” Other than that, it’s not terrible and a decent game..Version: 1.7.0

✓ Great game but...This game is way better the kill shot games but I think you kind of rushed the production of this one. The zombie killing is great and it is fun to see them die in the kill cam but it would be more fun to see ALL of them bleed out. Like two zombies per region bleed out and no others. Plus, some milestones are impossible. In region one, there was a star to get 6 explosive kills. You had to kill six, then a fat and 6 others appeared but one was way farther from the others and could only get 5 explosive kills. I hope a developer sees this so they can hear me out.Version: 1.6.3

✓ TerribleI’m not even kidding, each “mission” in this game is maybe 20 seconds long. I think the most zombies I killed in one mission was 8, and no developers, shooting ONE zombie that then explodes killing all the others doesn’t count. Absolute garbage..Version: 2.1
✓ Smooth and detailed FPS with pros and cons.5 star for gameplay, 1 star for honesty. The Virus variant of the KILL SHOT series is so advanced in comparison to the original title it deserves a new title. While the 3D, physics and graphics performance competes with console game the limitation of tablet and phone control means the range of movement is really 2.5D; maps include multiple floors and even flight, but there is no climbing or jumping. There is also a partial collaborative mode which is both the best and worst feature of of the game. Groups of up to 25 players can form Factions to pool scores and compete in a number of multi-player Events which allow faster evolution and access to upgrades and exclusive weapons and gear. While it isn't a true multiplayer (yet?) in the way America's Army allowed all those years ago (only one player can occupy a map in KSV), it does allow true collective participation, a chat function to allow comms. It is the team function that gives rise to the game's greatest frustration, the competitive nature of the events provides the incentive for in-app purchases. Real cash give players the edge in small and large ways; from gaining extra play-time through energy refills or upgrades to equipment for greater firepower. In the 'good old days' it was the tightly collaborative teams and the maddeningly high spenders who could dominate multi-player games, vet gamers have all seen their effect since Halo 1 and AA. Unfortunately KILL SHOT VIRUS is exploitable through mods and online hacks which become profoundly apparent in the event modes. While the predecessor title KILL SHOT BRAVO seems to have blocked many of the loopholes that allow hacking, KSV events are consistently hijacked by mod-equipped Factions. Even the the developer Hothead seems to be pro-active in disabling exploits in its other title KSB, the VIRUS version has had no visible policing for cheating, even when this has financial implications for the game. KILL SHOT VIRUS has been my favourite FPS for iOS to date It even tipped the balance in deciding to upgrade to a new iPad mini 4. There is a big BUT. While its gameplay out-performs any similar titles [that I've played] I can only recommend it as a single-player experience. While the it's best feature is the collaborative events, these should only be approached as casual fun, any serious team-players should be aware of the domination of hacker teams and the ostensible reluctance of the publisher to inhibit it, the negative aspects of fake competition leaves a nasty taste in the most, especially if you have spent iTunes vouchers and real money on the game. So use and enjoy the excellent gameplay in free mode but be aware of the significant pitfalls before committing to the collaborative areas and certainly don’t spend too much of your hard-earned cash..Version: 1.5.1

✓ Don't pay rewards.I did 3 other games for gold bars which I never revived. I emailed them they were quick to respond with asking for a screen shoot of proof I did the offers. ✓ BuggyWith the latest update to region 5, get ready for a jerking gunplay! Very annoying when you line up a perfect headshot and miss because of a skip in the game. It's happening more than once in each mission. That does suck, however, that's nothing compared to the now mandatory ads that can't be skipped till 4 seconds in. Even those 4 seconds start chewing into your data downloads, now I'll only play with unlimited wi-fi. There are a handful of users who bypass the legitimate methods of obtaining good scores and weapons in the game by using mods to get free perks & higher scores. ✓ DisappointedI love the game but I am extremely disappointed with Hot Heads lack of love for their own product. Your customers are begging for a region 9 but it falls on deaf ears. A new region every year is unacceptable. Your in the gaming industry, act like it. I also noticed that as I read the reviews, there was only 1 reply to one person. I find it odd that you don’t respond to your customers. That speaks volumes of your customer service and support. I have a lot of things I would love to tell Hot Head about bugs and things the game lacks but as I read I feel like it would fall on Deaf ears. I think all you want is , “hey the game is great” and that’s as far as it goes. So here goes. It’s a great game. ✓ StaleWhile the graphics of this game can be compared to those developed in the late 1980’s, the game is incredibly addictive and yes expensive - that’s if you wish to play regularly and stay competitive with other players. However; that isn’t the main gripe of those that have remain loyal to Kill Shot Virus. Our dissatisfaction is that the developers have not introduced any new content (regions/maps) for over a year and a half now. A blatant indication they are content with milking new (and loyal but hopeful players alike) as much as possible until the game finally fizzles out 😔. Therefore to be fair, I can say the game is fun but stale with NO new content in sight and not worthy of further investment ($$$) by its players..Version: 2.1

AND THERE ARE NO WAY BACK!! - People/Factions at the top keep going higher and higher by having all the best guns and points and it makes ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE for others to receive great prizes.. - You have a chance only if you spent at least $300-$500 real money on the game, cause one of my faction members did, and I made him the leader... - They give updates regularly but those updates needs another update to fix all the bugs in the first update which makes you wait for more than a month - Customer service responds quickly (within 24hours) which is good, but NOT HELPFUL at all.. they basically say where is FAQ or unfortunately we can't help... ✓ Great game with issuesFun game so far. Graphics are good, playability is good, missions are fun but watching videos forces a complete shut down and reboot of game which is a game killer for me. There are videos to watch to earn gold and more energy. Unfortunately after the video stops and your given the window to accept the award, it freezes causing me to have to close the game and restart it. ✓ BuggyWhen you are using the assault rifle holding down the fire button it only shoots once, normally as long as your finger is holding down on it it's a constant stream of firing. Sometimes my finger isn't even on the button and it fires. Also in horde events you use up energy to go in but try to hit start and it doesn't start, it's like button doesn't work.
