Constant freezing and crashing ruins otherwise great appThe user interface, personalization and buy flow of this app is one of the best - unfortunately, it can’t make up for the insanely slow page load times, constant freezing and occasional full crashes of the app. Unfortunately the bugs are so bad that it’s basically non-functional, and much easier to just shop on the Selfridges webpage using a mobile browser. Hoping they’ll eventually get around to fixing these issues, because they have great products and this app has great potential!.Version: 4.2

Error in my cartIt used to be a great app, for a couple of weeks now I’m having so many problems with my cart, whenever an item in your cart is out of stock I can’t seem to remove it, and when i try to purchase the other items in my cart it asks me to delete the out of stock items which I’m not able to delete.. Payment processThe payment process is really slow and doesn’t use Apple Pay which would make things much faster. Also the refinement options could do with being narrower as I had to scroll through loads of irrelevant results. Otherwise very easy to use and quick to order.Version: 4.4

Very glitchy and support non existentHad problems with the app for 2 years now. Constantly logs you out and says you have the wrong password ( not true). Each time you do log out you lose all your favourites so complete waste of time ‘ window shopping’ fed this back to them so many times but still not resolved. Great concept, bad executionFor months I have persevered with the app, very slow to load front page and quite often just hangs. Do not use - useless!All very pretty to see what’s available but nightmare to actually purchase from. Firstly wouldn’t let me add a card so thought no problem will use PayPal, PayPal completes and money taken from me account but app won’t complete order. Can’t place an order from the USI am unable to place an order neither through this app or the website. I have tried 11 times using 5 different cards issued by 3 different banks. I have tried checking out using Visa, MC, Amex directly and via Apple Pay. I even tried PayPal on their website and that too got reversed right away. I know this seems obsessive but they have some items I want for the price I like. Its 2023 the payment technology should just work effortlessly..Version: 8.8

Terrible appThe app is simply not usable. Adding items to the basket, the selected colour is not added and instead it switches to default. The log in does not persist, so if I log in, add items to the basket and proceed to check out, I am automatically logged out and there is no log in option during checkout - only sign in. And that’s just a couple of examples! Selfridges app used to be my go-to for presents and luxury beauty purchases, but I will now be switching to a different retailer simply because of the app usability. Good but range of products limitedThe app is great for Aussie shoppers and allows you to access great brands and designers, but a lot of products can’t ship to Australia and you can’t tell until you open the item page. In the last year or so, quite a few brands that used to ship to Australia no longer do so. Additionally, the range online is much more limited than what would be available in stores and doesn’t get updated frequently/ is listed online but is actually out of stock and unable to be ordered..Version: 2.0

Wishlist does not updateI do enjoy shopping here, especially with a large advantage in term if its pricing. However the app is not really user friendly, nor is the website. PaymentI have tried to pay for my items numerous times and the payment screen will not load properly. I’ve used my laptop, my phone and my tablet. I finally had some progress with using my tablet and downloading the app and then when it showed the bank security screen, it asked me to add security code and there’s nowhere to enter it - the screen didn’t load properly. I emailed customer service noting issues with paying and they sent me a link to reset my password and wrote kind words about not being able to access my account? I can access my account just fine. Absolutely dire!For such a prominent brand I cannot believe the never-ending, entirely unnecessary list of issues with the Selfridge’s app! UnusableApp barely works. Ironically, the Feedback and Rate buttons don’t work at all. Terrible App. Fix ITI have never come across such a faulty app. Items you just placed in basket disappear constantly. The app is a complete wreckThis used to be one of my favourite shopping apps. The experience was seamless, following you favourite and getting your cart worked fine. But for a few months now it became a complete mess. - My cart always appears empty even though in my account I added items to my cart and can still see them from the web page. - Favourite has the same issue, always show empty even though in reality it’s nearly full. Now some of the updates are great, like the stock notifications (not sure they work though) And the fact that price and to cart and out of stock appear in wish list. Also I am not happy about items suddenly not shipping to specific country even though they used to the day before but that’s not the App it’s the commercial at Selfridges that needs to revise that.Version: 7.2

More improvements neededI do online shopping almost every day. Selfridges is one of the apps which is not that user friendly. I can’t find highest discount in the sort list and some time the brands doesn’t work for filtering. Also I only get the message in Selfridge instead of email or text message notification from the website about all the sale events or other related notifications like other apps do. I definitely do not recommend the app…Even tho Selfridges has a wide collection of items that you can purchase ,there are many problems with the wish list of the app.For starters when I first started using it I came across a problem that I have never seen before.The problem was that even after I had saved what I liked there was nothing on my wish list.I reloaded the app many times but there was nothing to be found so I had to start finding every item again.When I finally could put things in my wish list I came across another problem, what I came across was that I could not delete the products that I didn’t like from the wish list.Again, I refreshed the app multiple times but the items where still there.Finally after about 10 times of trying and many hours in the process I managed to get them out.For a couple of days now I didn’t come across any other problems on the app except a little while ago.I’m very angry about this problem because every single item on my wish list was gone!!!!For good!Im mad because I spend a lot of time finding these items (not that it’s the end of the world but still) and even tho I refreshed everything (even my phone!) I could not find anything…so now I’m starting again but instead of putting all of the items on the wish list I will be screenshoting them!!!.Version: 6.9

Worst luxury appThis app is the absolute worst - it used to work perfectly but for the past months it has been an absolute nightmare to use. I keep putting things in my basket but whenever I go to check out, all of the sudden my basket is empty. It also lets you choose a specific size, which seems to be available but then when you put it in the basket it says sold out. Also continuous errors when you’re trying to put things in a basket. I haven’t been able to purchase anything from the app in months, which is ridiculous. Have to use safari on my phone and the mobile website instead..Version: 4.2

App does not let you pay with PayPal!Every time I try to place an order on the app through PayPal, my payment is confirmed via PayPal but I am never sent an order confirmation. This is not an issue on the Selfridges website. I only buy using PayPal so it is annoying that I can only add items to my cart on the app and then go to the website to actually place the order. Incredibly slowThe app is incredibly slow and often doesn’t work, I’ve found that almost everything I press is delayed by at least 10 seconds and sometimes it will just decide not to work entirely. It’s a shame as the actual layout of the app is quite intuitive and well put together but the performance is just awful..Version: 4.0

Trouble checking outI was having trouble checking out and had to call the Selfridges helpline. They were very helpful but basically if you move items to your basket but don’t check out within 30 mins you have to to go in and out of your account. Bad appVery bad app and worse costumer service that will do anything but help. Still did not receive my refund on my first order that I canceled 14 days ago. This is. Not true , let me check it and I’ll send you the details by email , it’s been an hour and I still didn’t get any update. I specifically made the order to be delivered on this specific day and I made the order online to save time. The order did get on time and my time was not saved , I could just went and have got it by myself as simple as that..Version: 9.3

Worst app ever, don’t bother downloadingWorse than finding items you had placed in your basket later prove unavailable, this app merrily takes you through a selection of offered products and seems to take delight in telling you ‘sold out’! Whilst other stores update availability in order not to waste shopping time, this Selfridges app seems designed to leave you annoyed, empty handed and frustrated. On the occasions you do chance to put something in your basket, woe betide you if you try to remove it, it’s there for eternity, or at least until you can rouse someone in Customer service to respond and reset it!! And don’t think you can use a different platform and log in via laptop, computer or phone to sort this problem... no, thanks to the complicated log in process you’re items still haunt you. I don’t want to mislead however, I was able to place one order which arrived beautifully packaged. Sadly the contents, though technically true to description, were on the whole misleading, disappointing and over priced. I certainly won’t be using the app to shop in this magnificent store again, most disappointing and for me it has seriously tarnished the store’s great reputation..Version: 4.0

Problems on returnThis app has a problem of making a return! When I try to go back to look into the items I wanna return it’s always says it can’t load the details of the items! And once u requested for the return they attached the return label for just once...if u don’t print it at the moment then u won’t able to go back and find it again!! QUITE a Bad AppThis app is quite bad. 80% of the time, it tells me there is an error in accessing my shopping cart. Same for trying to browse through products.
