Just pair the app with your compatible chartplotter to wirelessly transfer and access charts and maps, software updates, routes, waypoints and helpful feedback from the ActiveCaptain Community. Please note that this app is intended for Garmin chartplotter owners and is not recommended for use as a stand-alone navigational app.

It will always tell me i need a active capt sd card in the slot even though i have a vision plus card already installed. Im 33 years old and can barley use the app. Garmin is going to loose all their customers who are older than me. My father already bailed to a lawance. I thought i was good to go...dowloaded the area i needed ect. Im navigating on the water and i noticed the maps and depths are not good. Turns out i need to find the tiny little button on the top right screen on the active capt app to register my charts as well... its just too much. I just want to navigate the waters safety. May be returning the chart plotter to west marine if the next few trips dont go better..Version: 30.0
