✓ Good app, baffling developerI originally wrote that this didn’t even load. An update fixed that, I was pleased with the app. Now suddenly there’s a screen asking for a monthly subscription. What did I even pay for?.Version: 1.35
✓ Really??So I’ve used chord Pickout for the longest time and I’ve even told many other people about your app and they even used the app and now I have to pay a monthly subscription!?!? I SHOULD be grandfathered in BUT no I get a slap in the face with a ‘discounted annual rate’ well don’t worry. I’ve deleted the app!! There are others out there. ✓ Not really accurateThought this would be a great easy tool to pick up chords for a few cover songs so I pulled several of my own songs that are on iTunes into it and it's not really accurate. It gets the key right and the basic intervals but it consistently missed minor 7ths, diminished chords, major 7ths, sixths and ninths as chords so it's really more of a 'Facebook' amateur app than a deeply musical interface..Version: 1.11

✓ Save Your $$$I've never given a review like this, but this app is an utter fail. Great concept, but epic fail. The app says there a 70% chance the chords will be correct. I uploaded 15 songs that I knew the chords to very well, including my own songs that I wrote, and the chords provided by this app were way off. ✓ Don't Waste Your $2.I don't need this at all, I play by ear and I read music. I teach music and so I'm always looking for tools to share with my students. I thought that this would be a good tool, boy was I wrong. It can't even find the key the song is in, yet along the chords. Every song it transcribed this app said it was in A# which is Bb for some. I used several different style songs and even songs that had a basic 1 5 6 4 progression with just a piano and vocals another with just guitar and it misread the whole entire thing. 4 chords and not only was it in the wrong key it was the wrong chords. ✓ DisappointedWhen I initially purchased this app, there was no subscription fee listed and it was a complete shock when I tried to use it again recently and discovered I was shut out of it unless I paid additional fees. ✓ You cannot access any music thats protectedAll music from apple is protected so you cant open anything on an iphone, even stuff that you rip and save through itunes. ✓ Not badOverall not bad. Will give you an idea on what's going on but is not 100% accurate. If it's just a 3 chord song it transcribes it fine but when the song has more going on it does not do as well. However, It helps me figure out the key and gives me a better idea and from there I figure the rest out quicker then I would. Basically is just like a little cheat sheet. And then the developer decided to introduce a pricey subscription service for use of the app - very odd given the number of competing apps that are free and arguably better - so I have promptly deleted this app.Version: 1.38
