✓ New players not welcomeIt is 11 months now since a new kingdom was released for new players only. Since then only 1 more kingdom has been added but all accounts could move there so the biggest players dominated from start giving new players no chance. Have complained about this but as usual this company doesn’t care less about players wishes, only their own profits. This game will only die without new kingdom for new accounts only as the player base has shrunk over last 2 years but seems all this company wants is to max profit now without any plan of expanding player base at all..Version: 7.6.2
✓ Slight improvement on old mechanicsThis game is a Lords clone with some attempts to distinguish itself. First the game looks great and the actual battles (when you get to see them) look great and have the potential to be interesting... after that the game starts to show its infancy, lack of visual action and to much time wasting make this game become a drag far sooner then it should. There is even a section where you play as the captain of the guard and complete rpg quests that are impossible to lose. The game has potential as someone has spent a lot of time making it look good.... just needs to address the mechanics before I change my scores..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Game destroyed by KixeyeDon’t download, don’t play, don’t spend. New dev Kixeye trashed this once super fun game. They’ve allowed massive glitches to create wild disparity between players, ex. Some players received 100s of TRILL of resources. They released broken events that force players to waste massive amounts of in-game resources for terrible rewards. And advertised one event as designed to engage and grow f2p, when it doesn’t the complete opposite. The whole community is livid. They created a discord and then completely ignore the community. ✓ Horrible transition with kingdom mergersGame was fun. But now all kingdoms are merging. Meaning those who pay thousands to play rule and those who enjoy the grind suffer and never have freedom to play. The integration is horrible and there’s no real kingdom rewards outside of what you gotta pay for. The golden moon has no true cap. Those who pay these ridiculous in app purchases shouldn’t be able to zero or kill smaller castles who are enjoying the free to play variation. That needs to be fixed. Keep your pay to play players within their perimeters and maybe you’ll get most to stay and enjoy. It’s an amazing game but don’t expect to level up and enjoy it when there’s losers who pay thousands to ready endgame play..Version: 3.3.2

✓ ErrorI get to a point when the oracle tells me i need a commander, and when it goes to recruit that construction speed hero, when i press ok, a window pops up sayin - Hero detail could not be loaded. The only option to press is OK. Ehen i press it, the screen is dimmed as if i got that pop up but ive closed it, so it freezes my game, whenever i restart it, happens the same. ✓ The New update was made to make moneyI’ve played this game for a while and even have been in the top alliance for my server but the new update was made for bigger player to thrive and smaller ones to pay out a pretty sum to gain power. I have 600 million power and now you can’t share resources; and by the way you need resources like a ton to grow. Also there’s new armor and the only way to get it is to pay. The new heroes are mediocre but if you get the runes and armor then it packs a huge punch. I’ve spent money on this game and enjoyed it but the new update ruined it for players trying to keep up with out ruining their bank accounts..Version: 3.1.0

✓ AmazingThe game is really good and very biggner friendly, it also give you tons of free things which allow players to be f2p of course if you are aiming to be at the top you’ll have to buy things but that doesn’t mean that free players can do nothing. There are tow modes that open around 4 times each daily one is battle royal (free for all) and the other is team death match. Both modes make all players equal it doesn’t matter what your level is or what troops you have you start in these modes as the very top starts. The only reason I’m giving this 3 stars not 5 is because every time I open the game it asks me to update 222mb which i did like tons of times even if I remove it and download all over again it still do same if this is fixed i’ll change it to 5 stars..Version: 2.0.2

✓ Amazing game-Awful Devs.This game used to be amazing until Kixeye took over. Since Kixeye took over it has been nothing but failed events, bugs and glitches. When you attempt to message Kixeye about such issues they refuse to reach back claiming they have too many support mails to read so they just ignore them. I sent a ticket to support about my gear getting randomly deleted and I have waiting two months for a response and now I am choosing to just delete the game like many other players. ✓ Elite playersThis game is beautiful!!! Graphics are awesomely fantastic. You can get pretty far without overly paying however if you want to complete in head to head battles, unless you are an elite player with money to burn don’t look at the part of the game. It has already been dominated by the same people from other games which is disheartening that the game developers here didn’t learn from other game’s faults in letting money drive winning players and pace of the game That being said, there are side games which are lots of fun!!! A lot of effort went in to designing this gameplay which I do love! ✓ Greedy DevelopersGreat game if not for the extreme imbalance of power between money spenders and non money spenders. I usually don’t mind mind spending a few bucks a week, which I did for almost a year. Not nearly enough to compete with the countless number of players who must spend hundreds and thousands of dollars a week, but enough to allow me to compete with the other half of the players. I fell asleep with my phone in my hand one night and amongst my slumber I somehow bought and activated an 8 hour shield over and over again dozens of times until all 50,000 of my in-game gold was gone. ✓ Pathetic Gaming EnvironmentThe game started me randomly in a old server with many scared players. After asking some questions, they accuse me of being a spy for other servers and the language they used best fit the life of lowly people. I played maybe over a hundred of phone games, and this is the first time I find myself in such a bad gaming environment. Some nice players PM me saying they reported the rude players many times but the devs didn’t do anything. Well, it’s hard for devs to do anything I guess. ✓ Would give zero stars if possible.Please do not waste you time on this game. This game had massive potential/support back when it was new. Since then it was sold to a completely incompetent company. Events hardly work and when they do work there is massive lag therefore making the event in the end unplayable. ✓ PAY TO WINTerrible dated game with some good ideas but poorly delivered, unless you enjoy your screen freezing and reading error messages I would give it a miss the new server in world 47 had so much lag over the weekend it made it impossible to play the game, don’t expect any customer service support either. Developers need to start doing some real volume testing on new server’s rather than expecting players to do all the bug reporting for them. ✓ MehhhAfter almost a year playing they have still not added the option for players to migrate to a different kingdom. I am not talking about allowing new accounts under a certain level migrating, I mean any level player. For example, I started in Kingdom 8, which later merged with K5. Since the beginning I have been stuck in a kingdom with the biggest guild and spenders (ONE) in all of Iron Throne. That means no matter what there is no competing them. I want to be able to move to a new kingdom that actually has competition for the Throne every week. It’s an absolutely dead kingdom and ruins the game. Other games in this genre like Lords Mobile allow kingdom migration and balance it well. Next issue is why the helllllll would you release tier 7 troops when 90%+ people have not unlocked tier 6, and the ones that unlocked them can’t afford to train them. It’s insane. It’s like the dev is only talking to a group of big spenders, because the only people getting t7 are them. It’s a crazy amount of money to get through t6 research and building requirements. This just tells me to stop playing now because there is no chance to compete in a dead kingdom, and no chance to get the latest troops. ✓ Flop.Ok so I had high hopes for this game. I was hoping it would finally challenge dawn of titans, but alas, it’s terrible. Graphics are cheap and nasty, gameplay is way too simple, yet overly confusing at the same time, and the menus are insanely busy. ✓ AmazingThis is a great beginning to a great game. A lot of similarities to GoW, but way better! Not much of a need to spend money since there is so much stuff to do other than battle players in the open world. From team deathmatch, battle Royale, RPG town mode, and even simulation battles. Everything I’ve ever wanted in a game like this, it’s here. This game has so much potential. Please don’t go crazy with the spend-to-win aspects of the game, it’s really good as it is now. ✓ Love it but nm are money hungryFun game but make sure to go to a new kingdom and spend to grow fast. Once the bubble around the kingdom goes down and they have a transfer event, you are screwed. Just had a transfer event and toxic money Spenders who are bullies were allowed to go from the kingdoms they already killed off and go anywhere. Bullies in the traditional sense, not game sense. I had a friend get death threats for letting a specific player in and nm did nothing. That filth is still there. They will destroy those kingdoms. ✓ Lost accountI had errors with my game hooking into apples Game Center. It showed my game center name upon launch of the game but said it was not connected. It was odd. I searched everywhere and done everything I possibly could to fix it. I have a 22 year I.T. Background. I emailed support and followed the instruction they provided and I lost my account. Ouch, now my game is lost, and I already put money into it. I play in k28 with my wife so it makes it even a bigger bummer! We play these games together! Even after putting money into the game, they will not refund me nor restore my account that was deleted by following their instruction. There are a lot of people with Game Center connectivity issues when you read the reviews... beware Apple players! This game should have full stars, and I wish I could play it but it feels like I have been robbed about $35 bucks invested. It is a good thing I did invest as much as I did in other games. I could not get around this menu no matter what I did, so I decided to reinstall the game. ✓ Sorry guys...Games like this are fun when you get in on the ground level (day one). If you join up a game like this late, as I did, you have no shot of advancing without buying your way out of it, OR you have enough down time in a day to react to every notification you receive about your account. As a new player, the big guys scout you with their alliances, leagues, teams (whatever) for easy pickings, and you spend your time regrouping. ✓ Troops killed by Game Bots during game updateDuring kingdom 20’s capital war yesterday, iron throne decided to do an update that lasted 1 hour in the middle of it.... my alliance were the capital war throne holders during this time and are current throne winners for the week...During the process of the game update, the leader of my alliance had over 400k T5 troops killed in the Throne by capital war game bots!! There was nothing he could of done to prevent thing during an update where he was forced out of the game.... he has emailed his complaint to Netmarble/iron throne game and still has not heard from them back.. Our alliance are the biggest spenders of our kingdom; and for iron throne bots killing troops every 3 minutes during an update where we could not do anything about it, is very very bad... it would take hundreds and hundreds of dollars to replace all of his troops lost considering T5 troops are not cheap in this game.... so, Net marble, Kingdom 20 encourages you to please get a hold of Cjeaster in kingdom 20 and help with his troops that were killed by game bots.... it is not fair for him to lose troops by game bots in the throne for capital war while being forced out of the game for the maintenance update. Again, The game bots hit the throne that had only his troops in it about every 3 minutes during the game maintenance update, which he had no control over..Version: 2.1.1
✓ Started great butLatest update has made an already horribly p2w game complete garbage. Defense is broken in this game and developers do not care. New update has made the game completely unplayable unless you spend $20-$50k. You can put $10k+ into an account and have it wiped in under 4 hits because trapping is nonexistent. Stay away from this game if you enjoy the strategy of war games, you are basically better off playing ffxv or game of war because at least you can trap. ✓ Unbalanced and tailored to groups only!Well, I was enjoying this game for the first week quite nicely. I even put $30 into the game to get my buildings going. So far it seemed balanced and like an awesome game. But I just deleted it tonight after realizing it’s severely unbalanced and allows for solo players to basically get destroyed by groups repeatedly to no end. I was attached 425 times (yes that is not exaggeration) by one guild / alliance, then the next day it was 235 times by another alliance / guild. After you see how that goes down, do not waste your time thinking this game will be worth it if you are a solo player like me! This is not like Clash of the Clans or other strategy games that support both groups and solo players. Iron Throne is group supported only. I do NOT recommend this game. ✓ If you like Pay-to-Win, this is for you!So Iron Throne caught my eye because of its size and graphics. I figured how could do this be bad. It’s, at its most basic, Game of War revamped with a flashier skin. Plenty of things to keep you entertained early on I should mention. So it doesn’t start out too slow. My biggest complaint is how very apparent it became after a few days, that the only way to advance competitively is to spend plenty of money on the game. I can’t express how disappointed I was for my hard work to be erased by someone who had been playing the game for many weeks less than me, but had just decided to spend his/her real money. I know there is always a divide between pay-to-win players and the ones who don’t spend money on apps, but in Iron Throne, the divide is so big that it is an uncrossable chasm. Simply put, spend money, or only plan to play non-competitive and casual. If they developers can find a way to fix this and make it “fun for everyone,” then I will redownload it and jump back in. ✓ No strategy pay 2 win. Layout lameOther then the game being “pretty”, graphics are good. That’s about it. The castle teleport function is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. They just teleport in, smash your castle and teleport off. Really? So no strategy on actually running to that persons castle? You just appear, kill, and run off. There’s absolutely no strategy on building your troops. Just fast build your castle and get the higher level troops. Nothing to add on to them, no special skills to acquire. I’m still missing the game Kingdom Conquest. So much strategy on KC and this Iron Throne doesn’t have an ounce of strategy. Just pay extra for add boosts to your team and smash. Half or more of the player base have left. Netmarble had its problems ,but I’m sorry to say kixeye are really doing a poor job since they took over. Seems every reset another glitch or problem arise. And they aren’t 24/7 around, if something goes wrong Friday , doesn’t get fixed till Monday as they don’t work weekends. ✓ New ownership is terribleThis game was pretty good there were some issues that the community would have liked to see resolved but in general it was working and fun. Since the new company has taken over just about all of the events have failed and the dev response was immediately nullified the following week. An event which has been working for four years has failed in just two weeks of new owners taking hold. ✓ Was awesome gameBesides the big divide between people who buy and those that are budget buyers or free to play, there are other issues. First is the game bots that are used to secure capitals and for farm accounts. I have reported farm bots several times and netmarble continues to let them run. You need resources in this game to build, but are at a big disadvantage when someone is using a computer program to run and build farms that keeps them stocked of the resources. Second is the favoritism in this game, where netmarble gives certain players (in kingdom 5) free packs, etc. I will continue to log in, mostly just to talk to people I have met around the world. But will not be buying packs and boosting Netmarble’s revenue. With the new update no one will stand a chance against the daily and weekly players as most now can’t even afford to make T6 troops now we have to contend with T6. Netmarble should listen to majority of players (budget buyers and f2p) instead of bending to the wishes of a handful. ✓ Got turned off despite a promising startOn the outside, this game looks and feels great with quick and easy gameplay and great graphics. It features many of the most common functions of this type of game but with improvements however the biggest downer and turn off is the obvious overpowered number of coiners and how overpowered they are. I started on a new server that opened a day or maybe two before and it already had several players in the tens of millions in power. I played it enough to understand though leveling is smooth and easy to understand, it doesn’t happen so fast one could get even a million power so s was on several new and newer servers I tried and I saw it everywhere. Sure pay players help a game exist but to be that overwhelmingly advantaged so early and so often, doesn’t suggest a good or long future for the game. A good pay to play, would have a better balance and not focus on giving pay players so many and so powerful advantages that they make all other players feel utterly ignored for game pls consideration or not matter or perhaps just relegated to feeling like npcs instead of players. Realistically, pay players should get some slight advantages; cosmetic enhancements, or early access to some features and other such things. ✓ Don’t waste your time...The graphics are beautiful, but this game is far too expensive. I don’t expect F2P to go far in any game - but as a moderate spender, there is nothing in this game that is even somewhat enjoyable other than the team deathmatch. Troops are far too expensive - if NM cared enough about the majority of their player base, they’d fix this ASAP. No one wants to drop shield because it’s a guaranteed expensive loss even if you don’t lose all of your troops. Unfortunately, Netmarble cares little about what anyone thinks other than those players that are dropping tens of thousands each week. MZ was much the same with Game of War, but at least they got their troop cost right - moderate spenders didn’t care about dropping shields for hits because rebuild was fairly easy and inexpensive. We’d be ready to take another hit in a matter of minutes. This game is NOTHING like that. It’s disheartening because the game has so much promise. ✓ Stay awayGame was so so when netmarble was the developer. But now this new owner kixeye is killing a half dead game even faster. Don’t waste your time or money here. This ship is sinking. Update Kixeye has really driven the nail in the coffin now. Two weeks straight of events that are not functioning at all and no compensation for the money spent for these events. And the staff is absolutely ignorant to anything game related. Get a refund and get gone people. This game shouldn’t even be available on app stores. Yet again another botched event in September of 2022….. events that worked in the past no longer work, no points being distributed after hours of battle. These devs are just completely outclassed. ✓ Another Misleading Pay to WinFirst of all this app should be in TestFlight not the App Store this is misleading to consumers. What makes this even worse is the game is not region locked so all kinds of hacks and abuses are happening from players in regions that are not even supposed to have access. Now to the game itself if the above was not bad enough the game suffers from balance issues like groups being able to disable shields and attack at will. There is also a data leak bug that has not been fixed along with a time zone bug that favours those in Asia in terms of the time buffs reset effectively giving an unfair advantage to one geographical group. Also as it’s going through a publisher all bug reports are being relayed but I guess this is a way to obscure the actual developers and make it more difficult to report issues. The game gives you challenges that entice you to buy their packages to overcome this wall, but most of the packages are not worth it. The game is very generous in the beginning growth phases, but expect to grind A LOT if you are free 2 play. If you are just looking for a casual game, then this game might be for you, but don’t expect major progress. ✓ Rapid declineEver since this game was purchased by kixeye it has become almost unplayable. The big new “phantom world” DIDN’T WORK AT ALL, the stuff never unshielded. Also people who had ported there had their own shield randomly dropped and were not reimbursed for their lost troops (which are way too expensive in this game but that’s another story). Many many features have stopped working, or are so outdated as to be useless. For example, most of my research now takes tens of billions of each resource. The “cargo ship” that visits gives you…wait for it…15 THOUSAND resources. It would literally take a MILLION cargo ships to get enough of ONE resource for ONE research. All their meager, amateur programming seems devoted to getting more ads into the game, not fixing the many broken features. I still log on to talk to people but I am done buying “packs”, and the day I forget my shield (or kixeye erroneously drops it) and I get zeroed, that will be my last day with the app installed. Do. ✓ What direction will this game go?I don‘t know how I should rate this game. Before the latest update I totally would‘ve given 4 or 5 stars, because this game seems finally to be different from all other games in this genre and it still is related to the variety this game offers like town mode, battle royale, team deathmatch etc. Thanks to these modes/mini games the game actually gets balanced related to f2p and p2w. Also the high frequency of events makes it balanced and different. I personally want to wait until the public release before i start spending some money here and there to see if it‘s really worth it. I‘m not a heavy spender that’s why a balanced game is important for me to keep enjoying it and to keep spending in the long run. Now with the latest update the Merchant Shop totally got nerfed even though the update announcement said that only some new items will get added. Call me a crybaby or I could be picky or paranoid but I wonder if this was just the start of nerfing things, now that so many new players who are willing to spend joined and devs might become greedy. Wouldn’t be the first time I experience this. On behalf of all little spender and f2p gamer I really hope this isn’t the case, because this game has so much potential to be a game changer.
