✓ TerribleAbsolutely horrible DO NOT USE, it is defiantly not user friendly and works like absolute garbage without a wireless keyboard rich at that point you might as well just use this on a laptop or computer. Do not waste your time with this app!!.Version: 18.1.22697

✓ Doesn’t workJust downloaded to my iPad. Tried importing legacy settings and app crashed. Tried multiple times, rebooted, etc. to no avail. Tried to manually setup a connection and couldn’t get it to work. Verified that I good ping the target and that ports were not being blocked by the firewall on the target PC. ✓ Useless: does not connectAfter installing and migrating connections from the legacy app I tried them all and none could connect saying: “server not found”. But before throwing the new app away (legacy still works ok) I tried recreating one of the connections from scratch. It sure connected which means I have to manually recreate them all but: 1. It could not login because it was stripping the user name off the domain following @ character 2. When trying to enter the user name pressing Shift turns on CapsLock and does not turn it back off although resets Shift to lower case on the keyboard. After several attempts of varying issues with the keyboard I finally locked myself out of the host, thank you very much. Did you even test this program before release?.Version: 16.5.20449
✓ It stinks.I’ve used this service since 2001 and now I can only open it on my computer. As I use my iPad and Samsung phone for several updates a day, it is beyond frustrating. When I contacted Telechart, they just sent three pages of instructions which didn’t work either. My Samsung phone was ok, just more difficult to get into my charts until recently, now charts are gone. It would be nice to get an IN PERSON VISIT with an expert to fix this not just an email print out.. I, along with too many others, have paid way too much to have an update that is total frustration. ✓ Frustrating to use in touch mode, with a keyboard, or with a mouseI am forced to use Parallels Client to connect to an EMR remotely (Windows app). The “features” (lack thereof) in this app make that very difficult. It loses the connection to the Bluetooth keyboard (Brydge) I use on my iPad, if I switch to another app and return to Client (even if I do it right away), or if the keyboard remains unused for a short amount of time (minutes at most). I have to turn the keyboard off and back on to make it work again. It’s random, so I don’t know when I have to do that until typing just doesn’t work. It also easily loses connection with my Bluetooth mouse, and I purchased that specifically because only 1 kind (Swiftpoint) works with Client. That’s bad enough, but the touch mode for the mouse does not work for certain buttons or scrolling within the Windows app that is running in Client. I think it used to, before the update 2 months ago. It only works if I switch it to “Dumbo” mouse mode, but that is extremely inefficient for a touch interface (to use all of the time or to keep switching mouse modes). I wish I had another option to connect to my EMR - this is that bad. Using a Windows app remotely on an iPad is tough enough, but Client is actually getting in the way and making it even worse..Version: 17.0.21453
✓ Parallels is terribleI used (emphasis used) a desktop app for 18 years. That would be TC2000. Their new version for iOS requires Parallels. The application requires me to enter my password every time I open the app however it refuses the use of the keyboard. I have to type out my password in a text processor and then copy it so that I can paste it into the Parallels login screen. I’ve canceled my subscription to the service because the app developer is too lazy to write their own interface, rather subbing the job out to the Parallels app. That’s piss poor customer support from Worden Brothers, the author of TC2000. I refuse to do business with them going forward..Version: 18.0.22344
✓ Screen half obscured by keyboardSeemed to work OK and all the old settings ported over automatically. Unfortunately, the lower HALF of the ipad screen is taken up by the touch keyboard. I could not find any way to get rid of it. I have a bluetooth keyboard, so don't need half my screen area taken up by the keyboard. On the legacy version, there is a "keyboard hide" key that enables the keyboard to be hidden, and you can just use the hardware bluetooth keyboard. In both versions, the hardware and touchscreen keyboards are active simultaneously, so it is crazy not to be able to hide the touch screen one in this software version. Useless unless you have a very large ipad. Sorry, I have to give. It 2 stars because of reduced usability..Version: 16.5.20739
✓ One small issueI like the app and the usability but the click and drag does not work when mouse is in pointer mode. I tried to call support, email or chat on their website but could not because I don't have a service agreement. I guess this is the only method for bug reports..Version: 16.2.19124

✓ Farewell ParallelsI’ve used Parallels for my iPad for over a year, it used to work just fine. However about 6 weeks ago the keyboard will no longer pop up. I enabled the ´always pop up ´ feature in settings - no success. I deleted both Parallels and the app I use it with, reloaded - no success. Parallels is severly cripled without the ability to use the on screen keyboard. I can no longer recommend this product. If your app has an iPad extension that requires Parallels, move on to another solution, Parallels is essentially dead on the iPad. And if you are wondering, yes all my apps are updated automatically..Version: 18.1.22697
