✓ Love the game with one issue!I can’t get the help seeker achievement! I have gotten ALL of the others including the hidden ones but I cannot get the help seeker and I stupidly have spent $.99 5 or 6 times to try to buy the hint just to get the achievement but no dice! ✓ Masterpiece!Beautiful & great story. It is challenging enough, but not over the top. If you need hints, you can pay for them or watch a video (which I think is fair). ✓ Fans of the genre will enjoyThis is a marvellous little game, definitely one for the avid point and clicker like myself. If you're similarly inclined, please don't be put off by the numpty-ish reviews here. I got through the game with recourse to only a couple of hints, and it's not exactly a hardship to play a video for thirty seconds to get a hint. Oh and to get to part two, just complete the game and then start a new game. It's the same game but with some new puzzles..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Welcome To The Land Of Enchantment!This game sets itself apart from any other I've ever played with its unconventional peculiarities that arouse deep senses of curiosity and intrigue. The visuals are aesthetically cartoonish and imaginative in presentation; I find myself mesmerized by the exquisitely and precisely hand-drawn scenes, which draw warranted attention to detail. The wacky, idiosyncratic characters are unimposing since they are introduced in a complimentary fashion as they mostly deliver clues and solutions to solve puzzles. The gameplay is highly puzzle-oriented and analytical in nature; it encourages intellectual stimulation where one will think critically for him/herself. In order to advance, you must penetrate and decipher cryptic clues, which blend into the premise rather well since most of the puzzles suit the actions in progress. I admire the interdependency of various clues in such a way that they add complexity and avoid labeling this game as a typical "search for and use the item", click-and-point adventure. This treasure incites sparks of contemplation and challenge as I persevere through the many elements of riddle and mystery. I highly encourage all to discover this wonderful enigma..Version: 1.02

✓ Keep Playing!! (Past the end)I started playing this game and it took me a little by to understand it, but eventually I caught on. Then I finished it and felt it was rather anti-climactic, but at the encouragement of another review decided to play it a second time. It's worth a second shot is all I'll say...plus even after a second shot there maybe a couple of tiny things to figure out after that. All in all this was an excellent game. I found it after waiting for the new cube escape/rusty lake game to come out and this more than satisfied my gaming desires. If you haven't played any rusty lake/cube escape games and are looking for a good follow up, I highly recommend them..Version: 1.02
✓ My Game Was DifferentI really love the game, the graphics, the story... all of it. But my adventure was different. The 6 golden triangles were not available to me neither was the red little disc thing and other little things. I don't know if that is intentional or if it's the model of my iPhone. At the ending I had, I realized there were still several puzzles that I didn't complete which will probably give me a different ending if I can figure them out. Regardless- LOVED IT! The 2 Hidden achievements are fun; and note there are 2 endings..actually called "Round I" and "Round II". ✓ Good, odd adventure!With a slightly ambiguous story, good music and its weird childlike artwork, Isoland presents itself as fun little adventure game. It is fairly easy for the most part, although there were a couple of spots that made me growl, "I was supposed to click THERE??" You need to play though it twice to get the real ending, but the only difference in Act 2 is a few additional puzzles. Only after watching the real ending did I understand the first ending, and since the art style made me think it was a happy little game, the real ending took me by complete surprise and view it in a completely different light. With a price tag of one measly dollar, most classic adventure gamers can't go wrong with this wonderful little quickie. SPOILER: The plot, at its core, is a Lovecraftian yarn. Given the presentation, this totally knocked my socks off; without any previous knowledge of the Lovecraft Mythos, I can see where most people would be confused by the story. And upon beating it, all the little details that should have clued me in to this came flooding back to me. What a great experience!.Version: 1.02

As another reviewer said, if you really struggle with a puzzle you can watch an ad and moan about watching it, or, you could not be a nugget and just google it. ✓ Fun and challengingI wasn’t sure what to expect after reading the reviews but I really liked this game. It was pretty hard for me at first figuring out what to do but I really liked it once I got the hang of the clues. ✓ HELP!!!I’m loving the game so far, except I got stuck when it came to the mystery stones. i found two of them, but couldn’t find the one with 5 lines anywhere. As a last resort I watched a few youtube walkthroughs, and in every one of them the stone is given after solving the factory puzzle with the adhesive tape. I have completed this puzzle as per the walkthroughs and haven’t been given the item. Is there any fix for this other than resetting all my progress? Thanks!.Version: 2.0.6
✓ Great price for 2 roundsYou have to play the game through twice for the full game (yes, finish, then select new game and continue for added puzzles and the ending), but I kind of liked this. ✓ Great Game, But .....I think that everything about the game is great. The puzzles are challenging but not to hard and it is full of mystery and adventure. The art style is also very unique. There is only one thing that I would suggest. I like the mystery and all but it can get pretty confusing. You don’t really know the backstory of the island. ✓ Enjoyed it!!I love point and click games where there are different pieces of a “puzzle” all over the map. It definitely wasn't hard, which can be frustrating and not fun at all when games become too complicated and hard to tie pieces together. But this wasn’t complicated. ✓ Nicely drawn, not too difficultCutesy room-escape style puzzler. Looks great, but solutions are all fairly obvious so there's only an hour or two of mildly intriguing gameplay here. Hints are 79p (or free if you watch a video), but the game is fairly easy so I'd be surprised if you need to use any. The story and translation is a bit wobbly, but decent enough for the price. After you've completed Part 1, just start a new game to get Part 2. This part is slightly trickier and quite enjoyable. ✓ Neat, but anticlimacticFor the price, there’s nothing to complain about here: it’s a nicely executed puzzle/exploration game (more puzzles than exploration). The art is nice. Like many puzzle games, most of the puzzles are fairly easy and a few are tedious. A few critical things are “hidden” and you have to tap around unpromising places to find them. There’s a narrative of sorts, but it’s incoherent and mainly adds surreality to the scenario. Maybe that’s not a bad thing, actually? The game is designed to be played twice, but I did not appreciate having to slog my way through the same puzzles again. Don’t expect a particularly gratifying end, either: the rewards—and there are some—are stricly in the journey itself..Version: 1.02

✓ Amazing puzzle solving game!I have a very difficult time finding a game that "sticks. It's either too burning & monotonous or way too challenging & frustrating. This is the first game I didn't get bored of, challenged me to the perfect level so it wasn't too easy, but not too hard that I get frustrated & quit (or cheat just to move on). The graphics are fun & unique.... the music is great. The puzzles are perfect! I do agree with a couple of other comments that there were 1 or 2 that were just not intuitive, but I like the clues: again not too obvious that it just gives you the answer, but just enough of a nudge to point you in the right direction, but you still have to think it through. I absolutely love this game - first review of any app, ever!!!! And I'm 38, 1st gen iPhone geek. Huge praises for this game!!! Finally, the perfect game - for me! And probably many others!!! ✓ Pretty but frustratingThe illustrations are beautiful and gameplay is intuitive, but it's quite short. There's apparently a second part to the game but no info on wether something should be clicked to continue or if an update is needed.. Pretty frustrating.
