It's another "place your towers wherever you want" type game and the mobs, for the most part, don't simply run on predetermined paths. ✓ This is itI use to consider Kingdom Rush as the undisputed champion of TD games for your phone but then I found this game and now realize that while KR does some things VERY well, this game at its core is a perfect TD. Style and setup are very simple and while the art style may be not as bright and colourful as KR, the tone of the game doesn’t require it to try and distract you with bright colours and fancy production. And with all that being said the art style and production are perfect for what it accomplishes. Where this game sits in its own league is the gameplay , upgrades, customizable traps, increasing the difficulty according to how you see fit and replayability . While KR is definitely in a league of its own , one can easily dispute that this game is far superior just from a gameplay stand point and at the end of the day isn’t that what it’s all about. Love this game, the people who made this should be proud in knowing they have created the definition of what a true TD game is ,amazing job. Buy this now..Version: 1.04

✓ Best game I've played since Angry Birds!Well, I was scrolling the App Store and found this in my recommended. Saw the 5 stars and checked it out. Looked good. Bought it. Was better than I expected! Was hooked on the first level! Generally, on games like this, you get tutorials/tutorial levels on the first 10 minutes of playing. Not with this game. You get a 15 second tutorial and a few slides as you go along. A must get app for tower defence lovers! This is the perfect game for you! ✓ Truly awesome TD gameI'm a tower defense junky and this is THE best TD game I've ever played. The ability to push and pull enemies off of the track open up a whole new dynamic to TD games. I have literally spent over 50 hours capping out each level and it's hard enough to keep an advanced player engaged. It also offers the ability to make levels easier and harder with appropriate awards for each. Hands down, best TD game I've ever played. Side note, this is only the second review I have ever left in all the years of playing iPad games. This one deserves it. Throw them the 5$ or whatever it is. It's definitely well worth the money. At some point, I would love to see a map maker though. I'd love to be able to make my own maps and share them with friends or whatnot. Make the effect count for zero score, just so people can casually play endless mode for nothing but fun, that would really be so amazing and I hope so badly that you see this and consider it. ✓ Delightfully designed TDThis seems at first like pretty straightforward tower defence, but scratch the surface and you realize you're on a new level. Dungeon Keeper-style, you play the bad guy protecting your dungeon from invading heroes. You begin by working your way through the different levels, with each level unlocking additional traps, options, and other goodies. The arsenal in this game is huge--16 different traps and minions. Every board is infinitely replayable, and you can tweak the difficulty of any replay using "runes" (of which there are 10 or so), which make the heroes stronger, faster, tougher, etc. You can mix and match the runes as you please for each replay, with each rune providing cumulative multipliers for your your experience. You earn experience for every board you clear, but when you replay it, you earn only the amount that exceeds your previous best. Since experience earns you more starting gold and gems (the gems are used to upgrade your arsenal), this is a big incentive to replay using the runes. This game provides a _ton_ of options--almost too many. Overall, the game is incredibly well-balanced, with the various options interfering with one another in sensible and subtle ways. I LOVE TD, and I've played at length pretty much every worthwhile TD title in the store. This is definitely one of the best. On the same level as Kingdom Rush--which is praise I don't give lightly.
