✓ It does the basics but…Does the basics fine but… 1) cloud syncing is very poor and erratic. Often it has over written recent notes across devices with old versions because the syncing got errrrr…out of sync…this one falling makes this app dangerous and un-useable…and incredibly you had to pay for!!! 2) no erase text / scribble for entire note. You either have to physically delete that note and start a complete new one or use the eraser (if you’ve paid for it) and rub everything out. Not user friendly 3) when selecting eraser, it defaults to a tiny pin head so takes ages to erase anything 4) the widget is near useless as you have to define which note is to be shown but if you delete that note, the widget note goes blank rather than defaulting to the next note. And when you tap on it it takes you into the app….for a note that no longer exists 5) you can’t move text boxes around your note 6) saving a note doesn’t update the widget 7) no explanation of what the differing types of pins do. ….I could go on. Basically while the basics are fine there is no flow or cohesion in this app. But the killer is the failings in syncing correctly across devices. And the UI is cumbersome..Version: 2.0.7
✓ The devil is in the detailsThis app has so much potential, but it misses the mark in some important ways. Using this app should be an experience as intuitive as using a PostIt pad, but with the full power of iOS. Some suggestions to push this app over the top: 1. Create and delete notes needs to be intuitive and effortless. Drag to trash, with the ability to retrieve from trash if needed. 2. Closing a note should automatically save it, similar to how writing on a PostIt is persistent. 3. Full time cursor and pencil/stylus use. Should not have to choose between. The cursor should be there the instant a new note is created, and pencil should work without having to switch to it. Tap to move the cursor to a position on the note, drag around to sketch. 4. There should be an option for Apple Pencil users to use the pencil to sketch and a finger to erase without having to switch back and forth between tools. Implement these changes, and this will graduate to a “Must Have” app on par with Messenger or Waze..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Good idea, but needs workI liked this when it appeared a couple of years ago, but it hasn’t improved much, and in some ways it’s worse. - When you export a note now the background is lost, only the text is exported. This is daft in a ‘sticky-note’ app. - There aren’t many ‘backgrounds’ for notes, and you have to pay for those you get. It should have a colour picker at least. - There is a noticeable lag when writing (this has developed - it wasn’t there at first). - It’s really hard to make a note full screen, so you can take advantage of the space available. This is especially true on the iPhone, where the space is needed most. The app still has potential, but I’d really like to see some improvements. At the moment it is too much bother to use. PS don’t pay for the Mac app, it’s rubbish..Version: 2.0.1
✓ Perfect except for Apple Pencil problemsThis app is exactly what I was working for, but unfortunately I’m having problems using the Apple Pencil. I prefer to hand write rather than use text. Initially it worked great, then I noticed my writing started having sharp edges, rather than the round ones I write and it looked weird but was readable. It’s just gotten worse though and now it doesn’t read half my strokes. The pencil is working fine in multiple other apps. Would love to find a solution..Version: 3.0.3

✓ Would like to give 5 starsI bought sticky notes for use with the ipencil. When I write, my handwriting is automatically converted to type script, which I don’t want. I can’t find how to leave it in hand-written form. Read through the documentation. The images show that I should be able to use the pencil. I’ve emailed support twice in the past 48 hours but have not heard back. Tried clicking on the pencil icon and the scribble but nothing appears - changed paper color, paper type and ink color - still nothing. ✓ Okay, but could easily be much betterThe one thing i do not like about this app is that when adding notes as a widget to home screen, there is very few color of notes to choose from. This is actually very frustrating when you have a theme for you phone and then simply having the wrong color note crashes it and makes it look bad. Simply adding a wider variety of colors to make the notes for home screen widgets would be very good. Colors like black and gray for dark screen themes are a must. Also, it would be great if one could change the color and size of font. Otherwise, it is an okay app, but not enough customization..Version: 2.0.7

✓ One change neededIt should save automatically. Often I forget to hit the x and manually save, then I lose what I just added. I know others are having this issue too. Please fix it. I’d give 5 stars if that one thing changed. Everything has auto save now, why not this app? Gmail saves emails as I type, pages and word save every few seconds. You need to change this. ✓ Great AppA really great sticky app and I have tried a few. Lots of upgrades available to give you different types of “stickies” and “pins”. Couple of concerns I have noticed recently, the writing is really starting to lag, I have the latest iPad, and whilst it gives you the option to save your sticky note to your photos when you click on the option it just crashes the app and nothing happens and you have to go back and start again. Very annoying, it makes it an expensive app now after the upgrades. If these get fixed then good value, at the moment I am not so sure in comparison to other apps I have spent around £5 on..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Great app, but notes aren’t saved automaticallyI have been using the app on my iPad and I am very happy with how easy it is to access my notes via the widget. I have marked 3 stars because a few times I have lost notes because I haven’t clicked on the ‘V’ button, which is on the top right corner of the note, before clicking out of the app. I think it is very inefficient that it is not possible to tap out of the app without losing the information. ✓ It’s pretty OKIt’s OK, it works pretty well with the new iOS that uses widgets on your home screen. You can write with your finger or type them. There’s no subscription fee, but a few One time for fees, mostly cosmetic, having up to about 8$. Which is not too bad. It allows you to write and type across the same sticky note, which is awesome. Unfortunately there’s a bug where the text and drawing tool don’t lineup. So when you try to cross out something on your to-do it instead crosses out the item above it. From what I see it also doesn’t have a function to make checkboxes for your checklists. If they fixed these issues, it would be the perfect app sticky-note app..Version: 2.0.7

✓ A crying shame if you’re looking for iCloud stickiesI love MacOS stickies, it’s hasn’t been updated in years and I’m certain that one day it’ll be removed. On the lookout for a replacement with iCloud syncing across all Apple devices, I found this was the only option out there. Unfortunately, this is awful and clunky to use. The developers would find a much bigger market if they just made it like Apple would if they ever bothered to update Stickies! The iOS UI looks like garbage, it’s not intuitive, and it’s full of ugly icons like something from windows in the 90s. The Mac app just needs to be exactly like MacOS stickies but with iCloud sync, but that has its own set of issues. I hope they turn this missed opportunity into a success!.Version: 2.0
