✓ Better than expectedAfter finishing the first chapter, I’m happy to say this was an enjoyable experience. After waiting and counting down the days till it’s release, I wasn’t let down! Controls are very easy to use, however I’d have liked the option to use a joystick control to move Noctis around as opposed to tapping and holding when moving from one place to another. The option to steer the car from side to side also seems a little pointless with a very limited and tight camera tilt that doesn’t give you much of an alternate angle. Plus side is the graphics are great, with clear voice acting, music and sounds from the original game. The game is quite linear but you still get an open feel in the areas you travel to. Above all, the game is quite simplified but they’ve done a fantastic job bringing this epic title into a compact portable version..Version: 1.0.0
✓ Fantastic - the low ratings are from cheapskatesThis game is fantastic. It has a great story, engaging characters and is a lot of fun. If you look at the low ratings here it’s from people who are upstate that they have to pay for a premium game and expect everything free. I far prefer paying for a game in full in one transaction than a ton of micro transactions. Also the first chapter is free, which is a great way to give one a taste of the game before committing. ✓ Exactly as real game!Omg I love this game it is exactly the same as the real version I have on my Xbox one which I completed! The Music, the voices, cutscenes everything is so spot on. I really wanna keep on playing it but so sad the whole game is £20! That is way too much for a game on the phone. £10 is ok but now I have to uninstall the game before I get too hooked and sad. ✓ Proper Final FantasyIt is by far my favourite game on mobile! It is incredible how it runs. While there have been reports that the game doesn’t run on apple iPhone 6s Plus, I have not had any issues at all! It has beautiful visuals, responsive controls, and voice acting straight from the full version of the game. Combat is fluid and overall, a great way to experience FF15 in an alternate way. ✓ Fantastic game, I really enjoyed it!I was a bit skeptical when I saw that this graphic intensive game would support iPhone 6S but it worked flawlessly on my iPhone 6S, no save file corruption, I’m happy to pay $30 for such a fantastic game, well worth the money. (You can also change the graphic settings if you wish to do so in settings). I think with this kind of sophisticated game and imagine the hours they put in the programming behind, I can’t see why $30 is not reasonable, making a game like this is not easy guys. No save files corruptions for me, saved to iCloud perfectly, joystick support sounds great in the comments but I think it’s better with touch screen control. Well done Square Enix!.Version: 1.0.0
✓ Fun but crashes oftenThis is a fun way to catch the story of Final Fantasy XV in a more casual way and in smaller chunks. Graphics and voice acting are great. ✓ Simple sped-up version of the console gameI am a fan of Final Fantasy and not a hard core gamer making this app perfect for someone like myself. I like how the app is simple to use, gives a few side quests and sticks to the storyline of the original console game. There is the potential to add in the roaming around feature. But if you don’t have time and would like to indulge yourself in some ff nostalgia, then this is the game for you 🤩 I gave it 4 stars. ✓ You guys... Are the best!I have just finished the game, like 5mins ago finished it. Honestly, I feel satisfied. It’s taken me a little over a 6weeks of effort and in my eyes was worth the $30 to get all the levels. It’s no PC / Console version, but then again I never expected nor wanted it to be. It is kind of linear, but the storyline’s rewarding. Control wise it’s a little interesting, you’ll need to learn that you can’t just brawl an enemy and expect to win. There is some strategy involved. Hint, prompto taking photos to get AP is a great thing to aim for. They’ll come in handy later in the game. ✓ Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition is pretty amazingOn the whole, the story flows a lot better in this version of the game thanks to how streamlined certain aspects are. Battles play out from an overhead position, allowing you to get a clear view of your characters, the monsters, and the area around you. This works much better then console version. The new art style is nice and preserves the atmosphere of the original. The great soundtrack as well the voice acting are also included. The game runs well on my iPhone as well as my iPad. Thankfully the game does not include any premium currency or the other consumable IAPs. The game is spilt into a number of chapters with chapter one being available at no cost..Version: 1.0.0

Very immersive!!!I felt an emotional attachment to this game from the first opening scene and intro level, which makes me kinda understand the frustration of (and sympathize with) the reviewer who gave this game 1 star because it let him download it on his iPhone 6 then didn’t work beyond the opening sequence... It would be nice if we, users, could respond to some reviews like that. I think they are not fair. The game description does say that the game is compatible with iPhone 6s and above after all. If I were a dev I would wish for the right to remove or at least submit a request to remove unwarranted reviews like that. It’s just annoying to see a game on such a grand scale get 2.5 stars in the App Store because of such experiences. ✓ If you are upset...And accusing the developer of false advertising etc, because this game doesn’t work on your device, complain to Apple’ not the developer. Apple sets the “compatible with” based on basic ios info and very little else (besides functions of your particular phone like 3D touch etc,). The first line specifies what devices are compatible, it is pretty dann clear! The fact the game is downloadable on older devices is very likely only due to the ios you are running. ✓ Amazing Experience!EDIT: saves not syncing to iCloud on iOS 16. Not sure about older iOS versions. Game needs an update to fix. This is a great way to experience FFXV’s story. The Pocket Edition has voice acting, music, and similar cutscenes to the console version. And I love it! The Pocket Edition does play linearly, but you can replay chapters over and over even if you haven’t beaten the game yet. That’s what I’m doing because I love grinding for levels... which would have been a nice option instead of having to replay linear story in order to get into more battles. But this has a decent mix since the main point to it is to tell the story and encourage console play. AND I LOVE that it is a premium game. The controls are pretty confusing and finicky, and every time I drag my character around my finger has to block the screen. Please make it so there is a joystick. Also, another problem is the price. I thought that this game would be like 8-10 bucks max, but 30 dollars? That is way too much for a mobile game. No one would be willing to spend that much. ✓ Absolutely beautiful for a Chibi versionFor those who, like me, finds the original game a bit complicated to play and hard to understand the politics, this pocket version has definitely simplified everything and made the plot and gameplay just as enjoyable. Of course, I’m sure that with this pocket version, some side quests and plots within the storyline has been subtracted. But I would pay $20 to play the entire thing again. ✓ Concise & CharmingDon’t listen to the haters. In terms of scope, narrative and ingenuity, this is the best original game on the iPhone bar none. While the console version is undoubtedly the ‘better made’ game, this game is more impressive with storytelling and it’s characterisation of the bros -I actually found myself enjoying the story and cutscenes more due to better pacing. The gameplay while somewhat simplified and less flashy than its console counterpart is still very fun and a perfect fit for the iPhone (think Battleheart legacy). ✓ A nice abridged alternative to the originalSo I finally got into playing through Chapter 1 and picked up 2-10 with the sale price, so I’m currently mid-Chapter 2, definitely a lot of fun! Haven’t experienced any issues of crashes, etc, however I do get an intermittent bug, usually after combat, where certain voice lines seem to suddenly be voiced in German, with English subtitles.. Yes, the controls are simplified (you know, for as good as the touch-control can get, this isn’t a ps4, xbox etc); however, Square Enix really did an outstanding job adapting this incredible experience to the platform. Not just in terms of gameplay, but artistically as well! The models are gorgeous. The only bad things to say are performance can be a bit of a let down at times on iPhone X, and that it clearly hasn’t been made with X support in mind as many things are cut off due to the notch. ✓ Saves timeIf like me you don’t have the time to sink 100+ hours into a jrpg due to real life, this was perfect to experience the story of FFxv. The visual style really put me off at first but once used to it I invested into the characters. Sound is taken directly form PS4 version so it’s stellar! Playing on iPad (2018) max settings. ✓ Soooo Amaaazing!!!!If some of the chapters were at least for pay this would be a little better. The game is so interactive and thrilling I couldn’t stop playing but when the chapter was done I saw the other chapters and they were for pay....... I would looooooove if you just put some chapter for free like the first 3? But so far the fight mechanics are amazing so versatile and intriguing also the graphics are great, it’s polished and smooth I think this would become an AMAZING GAME!!! ✓ Epic game for mobileAmazing game for the mobile platform. I loved the varied and beautifully rendered locations, the eclectic and evocative soundtrack, the engrossing cinematic cut-scenes, and most of all, the feeling of going on an epic quest with a group of loyal friends. ✓ Amazing game! One of best ff ever!I really wanted to play this game but didn’t wanna buy a console just for it. I’m so glad Square Enix made this port, it had good graphics, fun gameplay especially using armiger moves, amazing soundtrack, great voice actors. ✓ Beware game has bugsStarted first chapter, game was great up until I went to load the game and it’s stuck on the loading screen, now I have to start again, I hope Square Enix Fix this as I want to buy it but won’t until this bug is fixed. From what I played the game mechanics are good, the voice acting is good, deffo worth a try but watch out as your progress can be lost with the above problem..Version: 1.0.0
