✓ Do not useThis app has not been updated in 6 years. It has essentially made my weather station useless and unusable. LaCrosse is no use if you don’t want to buy a new station from them..Version: 1.2

✓ App needs fixingConnected to 2.4 WiFi, presses the +- buttons together on the weather station to search. Entered in the WiFi password on the App, got “success” message, but then goes right back to the start page. Wunderground suggest holding the 2 outer buttons on the station to reset the station and try it. Nothing there. Something wrong with App, I think LaCrosse has given up on fixing? Should have read this before purchase 🙁. I was able to get the LaCrosee view App to work, but it’s not that special. Hopefully there is a fix soon?.Version: 1.2

✓ La Crosse Customer LoserOne of the worst apps I’ve ever encountered. No docs and doesn’t work anyway. I’m a programmer and know a lot about WiFi; this app is useless buggy junk. No more La Crosse purchases for me, and this app is why. And yes La Crosse you do need a way to connect to the pws network. ✓ Connect Device to WifiInstructions to wifi need to be much clearer. All that needs to connect device is to hold + and - buttons together until the wifi icon blinks. Then enter password if you are password protected then hit confirm. First page on app helps you set up the device ID and key. Then wifi icon will stop blinking. You are connected. I gave it a rating of 2 stars as LaCrosse instructions are not as detailed as they need to be to use this app..Version: 1.2
✓ Will not connectThis app and the Lacrosse Weather Station are useless! I purchased the station because it had a wifi connection and would sync with weather underground. This app is required for the connection. It does NOT work. Judging by the other reviews it never has. What a terrible company. ✓ Unable to UseFortunately I read enough reviews to avoid wasting too much time in this. The app didn’t give me the available wifi networks to pick from so I couldn’t enter the password it kept requesting (I could but there was no way to change the network from “wifi”. Also, it purported to provide a way to get a key, but I couldn’t get that to work either. This is a terrible app and a waste of time..Version: 1.2
✓ Still Doesn’t WorkDespite using the proper frequency on a mobile device, the app fails to recognize the 2.4GHz network, thus you cannot connect and move forward in link your PWS with Weather Underground. Further, the app is broken- when using other functions of the app, such as registering for a PWS ID from Weather Underground, you get the message: “An unknown error occurred, try again.” The apparent problems that plagued the app (as many have mentioned prior) have obviously continued to; the Weather Connect has not been updated in several years. ✓ Won’t work if your network has 5GHz channelSame issue everyone else is having. Except in my case, I have a modem/router that is managed by my ISP, so I have no ability to login and control it. Therefore, I cannot disable the 5 GHz channel, which means that this app will not work at all for me. Very disappointed, as sharing my weather station on Wunderground was the main reason I spent the $80 to buy the weather station. What’s extra disappointing is that the regular La Crosse View app works just fine, so clearly they have the ability to support the product. They just choose not to update this app or integrate its functionality in the La Crosse View app..Version: 1.2

✓ Says it won’t connect to WiFi but ignore thisThis probably took me three hours to figure out but in the end it worked. I tried everything to get the app to connect to my WiFi including turning off the 5ghz part of my router but it continued to say it failed to connect. Finally I discovered that as long as my phone and my weather station were connected on the 2.4ghz frequency of my router I could just ignore this and click the back arrow (top left) and move onto the next step. After you connect to your network successfully the app loops you back to find your network again. It never advances to the next step. Have deleted reloaded and tried for two hours. Hardware is ok.
