✓ Invalid Content TypeI’ve been working with Amuse for nearly two years now. I use Dropbox to store my finished tracks, and upload them to Amuse, I recently ran into an issue where every time I attempt to upload a track, I receive an error code “invalid content type application/json on URL https://dldropboxusercontentcom/1/view/d84t5wglt9f0888/D%20R%201%20V%20E%20%(etc….)” I’ve been unable to find a fix..Version: 3.9.4
✓ Great app, horrible customer supportThe app itself is very simple and easy to use, I’ve used it from the beginning and literally but up my career w this app. However, their customer support is the only reason this is not a 5. I can’t even begin to describe how incapable a lot of them are and how passive aggressive. There was an instance where I had to send the same email 5 times in different wording for them to understand, when I asked if there’s anyway to do phone support they immediately said no , any superiors to speak to? No. Get new staff, make it easier for customer support eg phone calls with actual English speaking staff and this will be the best service..Version: 4.0.1

✓ EasyFor an amateur artist, I never knew that it was this easy to release my original music! While it takes a little longer than some other platforms, there is no subscription fee, and a small amount is taken if any tracks or album is bought. Happy with that 100%! ✓ Good conceptOverall a pretty good and effective app for distributing your music. I’ve used them for 2+ years now. I currently use the free version and there are some hiccups in the sense they take some time to resolve certain issues. However, it’s a free service and they do a good job of accommodating me, an independent artist. If you are more serious and are already popping as an artist, I would recommend paying for the pro plan, I will probably try it later on once I get bigger as an artist. ✓ GoodSo at first I did not expect it to work no clue why… I got the boost subscription then later ai got an email pretty much saying “if you are an amuse boost account your releases will get released within five days and we are getting arid of free on march 27” but it is past that date and it still shows that I will release within 2 weeks. But overall a good solo publishing system. And it is also bot showing any other music plays on other platforms in the stats even though I listen to them on Alexa please change that.! ✓ So Easy to useSo I have been trying to release a song on apple music for like 2 years so on my pc i googled best aggregators and found amuse. I downloaded the app and a day later uplaoded my ep. One day after that, at 4 in the morning, I heard a beep on my phone which woke me up and the alert said my ep was approved and would be released on the planned date. And i was like so happy!!! But now the new rules about the logos in the cover art is ridiculous.!!! ✓ New updateI love this app great way to be able to put your music out when you don’t have a professional label... however the new update seems to have a lot of bugs and things that the developers NEED to fix. I’ve already had a song out and i’ve been keeping track i go on today and there is a new update, i update and go on the app and it’s a completely blank screen. App is great to get music out on... but the time it takes to release the music is a month or even 2-3 months depending on if it doesn’t go through the first time. 2. The revenue doesn’t refresh for months whereas distrokid tells you a week or max a month to tell you what you make. And I wish there was a receipt under each month so it shows how much you guys make off of artists instead of just random $$ numbers coming out of the blue ‘whenever’ your team gets around to pay the artists. ✓ FREE DistributionThis app is amazing! I’ve released many singles and 2 albums using Amuse. Your music gets distributed to all platforms for FREE and you do get to keep 100% of revenue you earn. The support team is amazing as well! Whenever I had an issue they would email me back in 2-4 business days and help me resolve my issues. Before I started using Amuse, I was using TuneCore to distribute my music and I was paying $10 just to distribute a single and I never made that money back from revenue. I found out about Amuse and immediately made a switch and I’m happy to say that it was my best transition. ✓ Great, missing some small featuresWould be amazing if you could access data via Computer or online, also the ability to have pre-orders on releases would be vital to putting this form of distribution over something like Ditto for example. Being able to pitch for Apple/Spotify playlists would be a great feature aswell. Also the currency is only in dollars. I live in the UK so the funds I receive are vastly misleading, it shows I have $150 and after PayPals fees and the conversion rates I’ll end up with about £100. It’s a little annoying. ✓ This is goodThis is an easy way for all music creators to release their music on major services. I love it and it’s free, so that’s a plus as well. I just wish the country selection page were a bit less buggy. I click the US, then click México, and then I scroll back to the US and it’s unchecked. ✓ Having an issue releasing!So I’ve completed my FIRST EP. Ready to release it and during the process, it keeps telling me that my Isrc “doesn’t match the pattern”. But it’s supposed to generate one for you when you don’t have an existing one. It’s not doing so. And now my EP release date is supposed to be the 28th of this month but it won’t make it. And it’s about 2020 so I do NOT want to release it next year 🤦🏽♂️ And I’ve sent emails, but no one has contacted me back. I’m thinking of going with another Distribution company. ✓ Dude... it’s ridiculously outstandingI’m gonna get my one and only complaint out of the way. I wish the uploading didn’t take forever. Okay, now that’s done. This app is amazing! Where has this been my whole life? This app puts you out there FOR FREE! I’ve had none of the issues that some of the reviews addressed. My songs have been reviewed and in stores right on queue and 100% accurate. I’ve been with TuneCore, ReverbNation and Spinnup; none of these came even close to what Amuse has done for me... and I didn’t pay a cent. I was with TuneCore for 9 years and I’ve been with Amuse for 2 weeks - the difference is off the charts! Anyone that is a serious musician and is frustrated constantly by the stonewalls of big music need look no further. While it isn’t feature loaded, it is the easiest way to get your music onto stores and streaming services as a new artist. ✓ Love it. Here is a genre to add.I look forward to using this app to get my music out there. I have a quick suggestion. I make Christian music, and I didn’t see “Christian/Gospel” in any of the categories. The closest thing that I can put is “inspirational”. But not all inspirational music is made by Christian artists. I would highly suggest that you add a whole category for Christian music so that the genre can show up in the stores as it’s proper genre..Version: 2.7.1
