✓ Bug or glitch and does not make senseIt tells me it’s going to be 91° and clear skies then when I read the mini paragraph they have, it says bring some shades the forecast is cloudy how is weather conditions clear but it’s says cloudy also and I check the hourly and there’s no cloudy conditions in site for the whole day. Also why am I wearing shades if it says it’s going to be cloudy (anyone it’s not right I’m just proving how it’s not making any sense).Jnorth2025Version: 2.3.6

✓ Inaccurate temperaturesInaccurate forecasts make this app much less useful than it could be. The forecast on Brella frequently shows a high that’s 4-8F higher than the reliable app I usually use. So Brella often recommends clothing that is NOT appropriate for the day’s temperatures. Cool design but fails without accurate weather information..Izcookie41Version: 2.4

✓ The app is great but there are some issuesI love this app I check it every morning and it really helps me get to where I need to be on time. However i do have one issue. When I create new clothes or add clothes from the suggestion box it sometimes recommends that I wear jeans and a tee but also pack my dress? I think more categories are needed to clarify that long sleeve shirts and dresses are not outer garments and vice versa. After that change, this app would be 5 stars..Ariana6026Version: 2.3.6

✓ Not greatI want to like this app. I really do. The problem is that for the last 2 days the morning notification has said it was 85 outside. Yesterday it was actually about 30 and today it said the same when it was 5 degrees outside. At first I though maybe I didn’t finish setting it up. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case either. ✓ Unresolved Issue, no longer using appI love the simplicity of the design and how personable it makes forecasting, though I’ve chosen to discontinue using this app. When I upgraded to 12 Pro, timed notifications stopped coming in on the home screen and I haven’t been able to get them back. ✓ Does not forecast accurate weatherToday it says “Hi of 42 and low of 42”, last night is says, “Today will be a low of 34 and a high of 35 degrees”. The actual weather is 28-42 today with fog. I am going to refund the application if possible. Asking Siri, “what’s the weather” is more accurate”. One star because the primary purpose isn’t useful. ✓ Not accurateIt’s a nice and refreshing way to dish up your daily weather but it needs more accuracy in terms of rain forecasting. It’s powered by Dark Sky who app shows it’s hammering down, which it is! No watch complication, so that makes it seem very dated I don’t want to get my phone out, to check the weather. One purpose of the Apple Watch is reduce phone time! So this app is a great concept but poorly executed. Also the remarks in the forecast are so rubbish!!.UpthehillVersion: 2.3.5

You might want to bringing an umbrellaAs they say, you’re keen as a peach! Ponder fruity phrases wearing yourYou should wear your jeans and t-shirt, plus take your sweatshirt. The forecast is rain throughout the day. =-=-= And then when I go into the menu and tap “Send feedback”, a grey bar appears near the top of my screen and the rest of the screen dims a little, and that’s the sum total of the result of my tapping “Send feedback”. I’m thinking maybe this app can’t handle the iPhone XS Max, and/or said phone being set to increase font size somewhat. There’s definitely *something* in my setup that it can’t handle... Also, once you choose a cutesy-ness level during initial setup, you’re stuck with it: there’s no way to change it in the settings. Aaand I keep finding *more* things wrong. Through deleting and reinstalling the app several times so I could change that setting that’s only available during the initial setup, I have discovered that it’s not changeable even then: choosing the most straightforward and non-cutesy setting has no effect. Your forecasts will still be full of meaningless fluff phrases (the developers call this “personality”). Oh...and I just noticed Brella uses Dark Sky for its weather, which in my experience is not as accurate as Accuweather. I think this is just not a weather app for me..PlaintigerVersion: 2.4

✓ DrippyCould be such a good idea if it wasn’t so poorly implemented. Notifications don’t work and if you set two different items of outer clothing for the same weather range (e.g. jacket and lightweight mac for all right to cool) every forecast it gives you refers to this. Tedious, unhelpful and very unsophisticated. Last, but certainly not least, its forecasts are often just one word e.g. “cloudy”, which is next to no help at all. Needs to be much more informative to be a useful predictor of what to wear. So, in conclusion: great idea, great name, good-looking app but absolutely hopeless functionality. ✓ BuggyIt works most of the time, but it’s buggy. There are basic bugs that 2 minutes of testing would have caught. Today it told me to wear sneakers, flip flops, and a t-shirt. Sneakers AND flip flops? How do I do that? No pants/shorts? I can refresh it and get something like this (with two from footwear and no pants) about 1/6 of the time. Before this update, it was creating sentences that were half complete. I’m an app developer myself, so I know the importance of testing. Do yourself a favour and check your version thoroughly before releasing it. You obviously have no QA team, so it’s on you to do the testing. Don’t rush it. ✓ 9 degrees off!I have been using this app for a while without ever comparing it to anything (stupidity on my part I guess) when today, I mentioned to someone that it didn’t feel like 90 degrees today at ALL. They replied with, “uh because it’s 81 degrees”. Sure enough, I checked multiple other sites and it was 81. Proceeded to compare hourly temps and Brella was consistently 100% off.
