✓ Don’t waste your time.This was one of my favorite games for a very long time and I started playing when it first came out more than 10 years ago. I even spent money in the shop to buy a few items and to support the developer. Then out of nowhere my account gets locked and the “get help” button doesn’t do anything when you click it. Looking into the problem lead me to find that tons and tons of people had the exact same thing happen to them with no warning, we did nothing wrong against ToS or anything like that just locked accounts and no way to get it back. And the worst part is you can’t even make a new account because it’s linked to your phone so even if you delete the game and all data and reinstall it you are greeted with the account locked screen and that “get help” button that does nothing. Don’t bother wasting your time on the game and definitely don’t spend any money on it because they will randomly lock your account and all your time is wasted..Version: 2.97

✓ If I could give zero stars, I wouldThis is NOT a 12+ game by any stretch of the imagination. The bullying that goes on, and is allowed to continue, by the moderators and developers, is inexcusable. Also, there are known players who use outside technology (aka bots) to so things that only the IT Dept. of ATA can do - track other players activity, see hidden allies, know a player’s id so they can be tracked when they change their in-game name, and the list goes on. These abuses against the TOU have been reported, with proof, to the Helpdesk and it falls on deaf ears; why…because the cheaters being a lot of $$ into the game. I’ve been playing this game since 2010 and I’ve seen far too many abuses for this to be a top-notch game and the c-suite should be embarrassed, unless all they care about is their compensation. App crashes on opening consistently since the update. ✓ One of the worst apps out thereIt is a text based 'tap tap' game with no actual strategy, and no graphics to speak of. Yet somehow, the game now takes forever to load and chews bandwidth. The game is rife with bots and you will need to spend thousands of dollars to play at an elite level. So assuming that's what you want, much of the gameplay can be described as..1. launch app. 2. make coffee as app loads. 3. finish coffee, start on eggs. 4. app finally opens 5. say hi to your clannies. 6. Get a popup for a free xstal due to server outage. 7. click through needless and poorly written dialogues that do absolutely nothing. 8. get a popup sale on in game purchases. 9. now the fun part - tap your screen about 40 times. 10. rinse and repeat and consider whether or not you want to invest any time at all trying to figure out the dozens of useless items you've accrued. ✓ Game evolutionI have enjoyed this game for many years. The introduction of new items, charms and upgrades has made it more interesting and unmanageable. I have attempted to read the “Forums” for insight but find any possibility useful info buried in childish banter. When I attempt to get insight on these changes from the Devs the response is simple, “ask other players”. It is good to keep the game fresh, but it has evolved to a level of complexity that unless a central source of detailed info can be published and updated it becomes more of an annoyance. ✓ Worst support of any GameThere is no option to speak with support. My account was stolen. I asked a mod for help and there was no help either . There is no option in the settings for help. Clicking on the ape only gives me an option to go to 3 other games they have developed .. There really is no excuse for no support. ✓ Kaw playerI’ve played kaw since 2010, I’ve met many many friends and even met some in real life. When the game first started it was an addictive war game. But now it’s just a tap tap game to line the devs pockets. The devs have gotten greedy, they’ve taken away the best parts of the game. They made it impossible to grow without spending a lot of money. It used to be clans against clans but in order to grow now you have to hop from EB to EB, there’s no clan loyalty any longer and that’s where friendships were made..Version: 3.00

However there is a bug with the new equipment over the last 6 months or so - it doesn’t effect anything. In other words, it’s worthless. Older event equipment still functions properly. There must be a bug with equipment from the new events, and the developers refuse to acknowledge and address the issue. ✓ Don’t get this appSo I’ve been playing this game for years and loved it. I invested lots of time and money into a few accounts. The problem is that ATA does not enforce their own Terms of Usage. In fact their own moderators are on third party apps buying and selling accounts and gear. This is the very thing they are supposed to stop. Not only that but look at their leader board. Most are bought accounts (against ToU) and have so much extra gear that there is no possible way to earn that legally. In a recent move an lb player was reported to drop thousands of dollars over a few days to mass up on charms. This was ignored while the player he was fighting was banned for botting. The player who used the bot, if tru, should be banned, by why give the other one a free pass when they obviously broke ToU. Another problem KaW has is that the things you spend money in game don’t always work. The Ally hide spell is a joke. There are people paying for subscriptions to see the ally hires of other players even when they have their ally spell on and don’t let it laps. The main reason the game still even exists today is the fact that people have a social connection with others in the game and have invested heavily in the purchasable items that give an advantage to those who want to ‘buy’ there way ahead. ATA will be justifiably correct in any response saying that you do not ‘have to’ buy anything to play the game which is totally correct but you just become a nonentity within it unless you have years of experience and/or time invested in it. ✓ Literally back and forthKaw has done a bad job with making new content, I’ve been playing for a while and the only that “new things” this game gets are recycled weekly events. You simply log on, hit on certain battles and then wait for your troops to become full and repeat. Rewards from this cycle grant equipment but the equipment from older weekly events are always worse than the ones from the newer weekly events. So the equipment is essentially useless. The silver bars gained are quite nice but unless you get into certain clans normal players won’t be able to rank high on weekly events. The mods in this game are sooooo bad. They silence you if you disagree with them. But on the bright side, there’s only two that talk in the world chat. In conclusion this game is an endless back and forth cycle of weekly events with a toxic community and no room for real growth and improvement..Version: 2.46

There’s a ton of cheating that goes on and certain players get away with a ton while other players have extreme action taken against them for so much less. Then one day I got on and was told I was banned permanently. Not sure what I did considering I hadn’t cheated or said anything in chats that would lead to a ban. Since I was banned and couldn’t contact support (their support email stopped existing) so I was forced to download PIMD to get some help. They essentially told me my account was linked to hundreds of others and was immediately banned and there’s nothing I can do about it. I have one phone and one account. I can’t even make a new account because it just says I’m banned. I got banned for doing nothing but playing the game, so I’m forced to give this a one star. Don’t touch it. Edit: then they tell you they’ve wiped your account yet you still can’t play. And then say use the in game help button WHEN YOU LITERALLY CANT DO ANYTHING IN GAME WHEN BANNED! Decorating your castle was NOT an option when the game was good. I had build plans once... new lands keep appearing now throwing all plans out the window, so I can't make the WAR build I want, but I can put a fluffy carpet down making my castle look so much more comfortable, just the sight of my comfortable castle must scare off my enemy as I no longer get incoming attacks, nor do I feel the need to leave my comfy throne to attack others. If possible can we get a games rooms added to our castle??? The corrupt from many of the support workers and moderators for this app is beyond obvious. Some of the moderators and app support workers manipulate the game in favour of the clans they are part of. They use their positions in the game to manipulate their clans to win battles without actually winning through the functionality of the game. Rather through banning enemy accounts without legit reasons and they give automatic excuses to cover up their clans inability to play the game as it was intended. But the flaw there is that the moderators that are appointed often use their powers to benefit their clan/group of friends. There are differences between droid and apple devices which give certain users unfair advantages. When you report a problem they will most likely ignore you in favour of someone else they prefer. The world chat is unfairly moderated, some players are giving the ability to ban people from talking and it is always done poorly and only to people those players do not like.
