✓ This is not a real looperThis is a multitrack recorder just like any other. Sure you can loop your recordings just like any other multi track. Definition of a looper is where each recording is an independent loop and keeps playing and looping regardless of what else is playing. This app is linear and no clips loop, they play from start to end and only repeat at the end of the time line just like a regular multitrack recorder.Version: 1.2
✓ When will the pedals be available for purchase again??This seems to be a great app, but it seems like this developer is having a hard time making the pedals available for purchase again. I’ll reevaluate this review once I have the pedal. For now, it’s just lame that they don’t seem to care..Version: 1.2
✓ Yo! Honest Review from MusicianHi there! If you’re looking for a looper app to actually compose or make interesting music... this is not the app for you. It is good enough to play around with for a couple of days. The time signatures beyond 4/4 and 8/8 don’t even work. The « split » and « copy » functions could be significantly better. ✓ Very bad cracklingTerrible crackling sound on playback...it’s not only on playback but also when I use the in-app piano, whenever I hit a key there is terrible crackling. ✓ Don’t buy Any Retronyms apps except for Tabletop that’s their bestLooperverse is glitchy and it crashes constantly, making you loose quality time it’s literally the most unproductive and buggy recording interface, I wish I could get my $ back for it and also for iMPC, iMPC, iMPC pro2, the AudioCopy tool also made by them is garbage and is the sole component in the glitches and constant crashes, all their “D.A.W stations use AudioCopy for fetching sample packs you buy separately. ✓ IAA and Ableton link are extremely jankyFigure, Addictive Pro, and Elastic Drums do not seem to work via IAA, due to various bugs. Figure speeds up to about 10000 BPM, addictive pro repeats one key press over and over, and ElasticDrums won't start playing. Seems great if you've already got loops or are going to do live recording, kinda janky for IAA and recording from other apps. Tested on iPad mini 2 and the new iPad (5th gen)..Version: 1.0

✓ Fun and potentially amazingThe best clip editing I’ve see on iOS. Really fun and intuitive to creatively mangle sounds instantly by stretching them and so on. ✓ Potential, needs urgent update.First impressions are that there is much potential here, which Retronyms are slow to implement. First off, the IAA selection is a nightmare, because it isn’t alphabetical. Secondly, as IAA is soon to be phased out by Apple, this app really needs to have AU3 added. Nic.Version: 1.3

✓ Review updateMy first review of this app from 4 years ago still appears here, which was very favorable for this app. But after mostly using Garageband for the majority of my iOS music productions since that review, I recently decided to try the app again. To cut to the chase, the app is fun to use in some ways but a pain to use in others. As one who doesn't want to get caught up in the money pit of buying Retronym's various music packs, I choose to import loops from my phone's files to use in Looperverse. It is doable but is not at all convenient, in that I have to convert the files via Audioshare to be useable in the app, which is a process with several steps. But, if you just want a simple looper to record song ideas without any EQ support (not even simple treble, bass, etc), this is a fun app in that you when you hit record, it will record a track then automatically record the next track once you reach the end of the preset loop length. I don't know of other looping apps that do that so that's a positive feature and kind of addictive. I would, however, love to see this app redesigned to play well with external apps and effects as well as being able to easily import loops from my device, as previously mentioned. The interface could definitely use a redesign because it's so easy to hit the wrong button when simply trying to scroll out the volume panel on the left side. There's a lot of potential here to have a superb looping app but it will definitely need changes to get there..Version: 1.3

✓ App crashesI have tried adding a track from Audio Copy 8 times and it says “pasting” then just crashes. Not worth the money when I can have a free app do that....Version: 1.2
✓ AlmostGood useful features for looping, editing and mixing. However, the loop trimming tools are so clumsy it is rendered almost unusable. Maybe my particular thumbs, but the guide easily slips and reverts to the entire loop length, with no possibility to undo. Currently slightly bummed about my $7.Version: 1.3
