✓ Try it, You'll like itI Wrote my first Sreenplays on a typewriter - and Then setting tabs on Wordperfect. Was a beta tester on my of the screenwriting programs - and Have used screenwriting software in all kinds of formats. This is easy and simple - and it doesn't cost a fortune. If you are looking for software that lets you jsut write - try it. My writing partner and I even used the fact that we can screen share on a mac using messages to do writing collaborations on the same script during the covid ( would love to see a more formal way to write with a partner - but its still possible! ) Give it a shot - and never let some software company own the forating of your script again!.BKLAVersion: 2.9.3

✓ Time to throw away those other writing appsHighland 2 is an amazing, intuitive tool that is deceptively simple to master. At a minimum, it’s a great looking plain text editor, but Highland 2 becomes a powerhouse once you add in some markdown and the various templates at your disposal. I currently use it for taking notes, writing blog posts for my day job, and am in the process of replacing Scrivener with it. It’s a great tool that I can’t recommend enough..Raph j mVersion: 2.0.5

✗ Sure I’ll love it but...The app wouldn’t let me ‘unlock full version’ so I can’t say how great it is in its full potental. When trying to buy it, it just keeps saying that my account isn’t valid for the U.S. store and asking me to 'change store’. So I click the ‘change store' button that launches the app store, and it just hangs there. After an hour on the phone with a Mac App Store staff who checked everything re: my account and even logged onto my computer remotely, we found nothing wrong from the App Store side or my account. This followed by a series of correspondence with a Highland 2 representative who failed to identity the problem. Seriously I’ve never tried so hard to *buy* something. Why don’t they just have a direct purchase button, along with a download trial option on the App Store!? For the sheer agony of trying to buy this app, if I could give no star I would..KwhooeyVersion: 2.0.7

✗ One problem.Ok so I really like Highland. It is great for quickly writing scripts but there is one problem that is really bugging me. Occasionally when I press the hashtag button (#) about 1/2 comes out as a / and is really annoying. That is my only complaint..SongsalloverVersion: 2.8.4
