✓ Be Careful. It’s full of ads....Be careful, this app is full of ads. And there’s no way to opt out of ads, nor to purchase a version without ads. I don’t need an app burning up my data to dish me ads. Generally, if an app is free, you are the product. No telling what other user data this developer may be sharing with third-parties. The PurpleAir.com website renders just fine on iOS devices. So I’ve uninstalled the app and go there instead..Work in progress.Version: 7.6.71

✓ Annoying ads, limited flexibilityThe app is zippy, but it doesn’t let you tailor the report very much. Using Purple Air directly on its website is far more flexible (choosing averaging times, trends, particles of interest, multiple locations, etc). As a result I am not really sure what I am looking at using this app. The app also barrages you with unnecessary ads for information that is free and unhindered elsewhere..RgbtooVersion: 7.6.65

✓ Not even close to reality regarding air qualityThis app is not even close to reality regarding Air Quality. Just one of thousands of examples is when I am driving into an area and it's so dark with pollutants I can't even see the mountains and this app says it's good quality air. As it turns out it ends up the air has thousands of times toxicity of pollutants of aluminum, cesium, and barium. These pollutants are deadly poison. ✓ Feels OffMight be a data source issue, but every time I check on it the historical data seems fictional. I'll see that the last 5 hours is very high, like 250 aqi, and then 10 hours later I will come back and it says those previous 5 hours were much lower-- but NOW it's that high. ✓ Best air quality and pollen app out there!Update: July 19th 2023- problems again with widget being blank. In last 2 weeks widget has only shown data for 3 days. Need a response please from you Gorjan If I pay 5.99 a month, I expect there not to be these amount of issues for the widget. 2 weeks ago Worth the $5.99 per month! Data is accurate, clear and uncluttered. Customer service is one of the very best I’ve seen - especially in these days of mediocre service from many other apps. Gorjan at AirCare was very responsive, genial and understanding of the widget update issue and pushed out 3 updates in 24 hours. Cannot go wrong here..AshleyDelavaneVersion: 8.91.000

✓ DisappointedApp looks amazing but you can't look at pollen counts on the main screen. if you look at the map you can then see all pollutants including pollen but very confusing how to favourite it and then get notifications. app doesn't work well at all and needs instructions.H4nn4h<[:)Version: 7.7.79

✓ Great App - A few bugsI like the new favorites display and I’m very happy to see all previous features intact. I have depended on this app quite a bit during this especially bad wildfire season in California, and have recommended it to many friends that also love it. I’m disappointed, however, that it will not maintain settings. I keep toggling for it to open up to the current location, and when I reopen that is turned off again. I’m currently in Texas and it wants to open up to my last location in California. I have to use the map to search for a nearby station and then set that as a favorite so that I can look at it..CMRnowVersion: 7.6.85

✓ Rural limitsMaybe not very useful if you live in some low-population areas. I’m better off with the free government app. Wish I had checked this out more before subscribing, but the ads were so annoying I rushed it. ✓ Broken other than AQIThis app will show you the local AQI and has a nice map. However, AQI is all it will show you. When you view the map you can select many different pollutants and allergens like pollen, etc. But whenever I select any of the options other than AQI I just get a loading circle forever, it never loads the information. This makes the app quite useless unless all you want is AQI. I was hoping to be able to track many types of pollutants and allergens in one app. Not this one!.RubenetteVersion: 7.6.85
