✓ Absolute LIFE SAVER. MUST HAVE APPI bought this app about one year ago, it really has saved my life. It really is a must get. I would say that the premium isn’t worth the buy if you are someone that doesn’t travel a lot and just stays in one place (like me :)). And as I haven’t bought it, it’s really not my place to say if it really is good or not. I think that the app would be even better if it had a notes section for each trip, but that’s just a little thing! Obviously, in the current circumstances I can’t go anywhere, but I have had lots of fun planning future trips! It reminds you the day before your trip, there’s a setting on the app where you can um mark everything so on the day you go home you can mark off items when you pack them. It has everything and more. ✓ What are the notifications for?I appreciate the bulk of this app. It works well as a travel checklist and looks clean. But I cannot for the life of me figure out what the notifications are for. As I have approached my trip, each day it has thrown up a number (badge) indicating some sort of notification is ready. I open the app and the item is no where to be found. It’s like a little attempt to just get you to open the app I guess. So I turned off the notifications. So much for a potentially useful feature. The other thing I dislike is how this syncs. ✓ Has some glitchesI really like this, but when i go to make new categories and such, sometimes it can be a bit glitchy. More specifically when i go to create a category, it will add to my list, then if I decide to delete it I go back and the list is still there... i try to go into reselecting the categories and it wont be there anymore but i wont be able to delete it from my list anymore. It just gets stuck there. Im having to just delete the whole trip and start over whenever that happens because of it. I don't mind making my own lists and categories... in fact i prefer it but the process can be long and detailed and as I go along eventually the app just gets glitchy as i go back and forth so much. Things I don’t like: no option for packing light / doing laundry while away (I don’t need 7 pairs of socks for a 7 day trip), items deleted from the main lists aren’t really deleted; they reappear the next time that list is used, even after selecting delete in the main lists. Changing quantities of items is clunky, and difficult to select; it’s too easy to accidentally mark an item as packed when I really just want to change the quantity. Apparently with this update we can now save lists to be used again, but I can’t see how to do that. All I can do is send my partner a copy of the list I made, which places all the onus on me to remember stuff. Also, I wanted to remove items from one of the default lists once I'd selected it for a specific trip, not to remove items permanently, e.g. to remove 'tent' from my current camping trip because we don't need to take one this time; but to leave 'tent' on the default camping list for future trips where I may need to take one. It would be amazing if there was an “access to laundry” option or “pack lightly” to limit the volume of your packing. ✓ Makes packing quicker5/3/21 Edit: I’m still using Packr and I’m still happy, however there’s one thing Packr does that I wish would change - Packr deletes old lists, so users have to redo any lists for trips that you go the same place and same time of year... and there’s no archive for those old trips. It’s a minor point, but it’s happened a couple times... I hate repeating work I’ve already done. Original post: always have to take the time to make a list of what my minimum needs are for the weekend, take the chance I will omit something from my list and then I misplace the paper list. ✓ ConsistentI’ve been using this app for a few years, and it has performed well on a consistent basis. I do wish it wold remember my choice to “view unpacked items only” when I reopen the app, but overall it is very functional and helpful! There are in app purchases (as most apps have) however, unlike other apps, these purchase choices don’t get in the way. You don’t NEED them to use the app. I’m going on a trip soon and this is the first time i’ve used this app to plan my packing. Now, after using it for just one trip, I know i’ll be using it for every trip from now on. It suggests things that you may need to bring on your trip. This is very helpful because I usually forget so much stuff or I don’t know what to bring. They also look at the weather for what days your going and help pick clothes accordingly..Version: 1.11

✓ Great updateI downloaded this app before my most recent trip and after only a few minutes I realised that the ability to create my own lists was essential so I purchased the pro upgrade. Once I was on holiday (without any data signal) I found I wanted to make some changes to the default lists, and also some additions to my new lists but found it wasn’t possible to amend the defaults which I found frustrating. I would have only given it 4 stars if it was not for the fact that when I arrived home and got my signal back there was an update waiting that fixed the issues I was having. This is now a 5 star app and a travel essential for me for future trips.Version: 1.5.1
✓ Love this app!Love this app! I used a previous app for packing and really liked it but it wasn’t available on iOS 10. I found this one and since it was free, I decided to try it. This app comes with a packing list already set up (I had to create one on previous app). You can edit the list and add items to it. You can organize it any way you want. This app also shows the current weather conditions and future forecasts for your travel destination. Very pleased with it! It’s a must have!.Version: 1.5.3
✓ Great app and works with Trip It!I love this app, easy to use fairly easy to edit in the pro version. I would however agree with one of the other reviews. It would be nice for duplicate entries such as sunglasses, etc. to be checked off in multiple categories, this will enhance the flexibility and ease-of-use to the level. My workaround for the moment is to create a list of things I always take, essentials, which goes on every trip. Another nice feature would be for lists for each family member contained in a single app. Just an idea. I suggest the pro version, Customizable create your own lists etc..Version: 1.5.3
