✓ Fantastic App!The premium version of this app is a fantastic deal. This app does everything a several hundred dollar aviation scanner can do, but does it without the effort. No programming frequencies, no making lists of channels from your local airport. It is all done for you and what makes this better than a scanner? Scanners only bring in local frequencies. ✓ Good for idle listeningA very good app for those times you just want something to listen to or waste a half hour or so. Very good coverage and good quality feeds. I particularly like the feature for listening to the HF Aeronautical bands with NATO tracks and Oceanic clearance etc. as not everyone has HF radios and antenna systems. Remember you may not be able to listen to UK frequencies (buy a scanner) but can listen to UK flights as they leave or arrive foreign shores. Stuck for where to listen? Easy. ✓ One of my favorite apps, but I have a suggestionThis app is one of my favorite apps to listen to. It is so interesting to hear the ATC. My suggestion is to be able to choose which frequency to listen to individually. For example at KIAH, I tap KIAH Approach, but there is like 12 frequencies that it is monitoring, it would be nice to choose which of those 12 I can listen to. ✓ I have a favorite new toy!Fantastic app - great selection of countries and airports - always very clear and definitely fits its description. The best thing about it is that air traffic radio operates at a very low bandwidth, so it doesn't chew through your internet usage at all! I listen for 30 minutes and its around 5MB. I live in the UK and I know this app cannot stream UK frequencies because it is against the Law to listen to Airband here but I listen to USA stations But if only potential buyers read what Dave has stated from the outset. ✓ Connection now drops after 5 minutesThis is a great app, that for some reason has recently became unstable. I have been a very frequent listener and until a month ago, I rarely had a long duration connection drop even on a cellular connection. Now, the feed consistently drops after 5 or so minutes and must be restarted. BTW, I would be happy to pay a reasonable subscription fee to offset development expenses. This is my favorite app. I love this app I spent most of my life in the USAF and love flying and to listen to the talk between the crew and the ground tower is amazing I read a review that said this is time delayed 10 secs is this true even if it is I still keep listening. ✓ Happy chappyIt does the job. Until now I used "aviation radio" with limited suxcces due to "line of sight" limits. It sounds like a real radio. BUT It does not cover my airport (YPJT) busiest general aviation airpot in the Southern Hemisphere. However it gives you pleanty of worldwide airports. I reckon it is a great idea and worth while product. At this price a bargain. Great for new pilots or even the one who getting higher quall. such as IFR. It seems thought, that more then one frequency is covered which makes hard to follow the sequence.. But thats only me..Version: 0

Commuting all over Oz I spend a lot of time at airports waiting. Now Brisbane has a new 'always up' feed, I can sit in the club and listen to all the action I'm seeing airside. The guy below said it doesn't have tullamarine which is true in the case of the tower and approach etc but The moorabbin feed plus the Australia satellite feed have heaps of frequencies on them including the center frequencies all around Melbourne so it's far from non existant. ✓ UK!People should know before hand that UK coverage of both civil and military ATC is illegal unlike every other country. For unknown reasons the gov don't like us listening ATC chats which are civil. Military for security reasons is illegal. So no matter how many times you ask they will not cover the UK. ✓ Interesting appIt is a pity it does not cover UK but as an app where you can listen all round the world to what is happening from the cockpit to the control tower it is well worth 5 stars. It allowed me to listen to my son's plane take off from Orlando so I was able to organise my time to pick him up from the airport. The flight was delayed for 77 minutes which meant I did not have to get up at 04:00. The flight status at Orlando & Birmingham did not show what was happening but liveatc in the background allowed me real time update. If I never use the app again, £1.99 allowed me an extra 2 hours in bed and reduced charges at the airport car part .... Exceptionally cheap and worth it..Version: 1.7.3

The UK government and the CAA will not allow onward streaming of UK ATC feeds. The nearest you can get is Dublin and Other EU countries. ✓ Brilliant App!! ***BUT NO ATC IN THE UK (except Ireland)***It is an excellent app especially for the flight simulator or aircraft enthusiast, or just for anyone curious as to what goes on at an airport! Only downside is that there is NO ATC AVAILABLE IN THE UK (except Ireland) this is because of some law in the UK from 1942 which does not allow you to have a reciever for any of the emergency services, or aircraft communication. ✓ Pretty goodI use this app all the time. As a pilot I enjoy listening to ATC and pilots and follow them on a “radar app” as well. The app works well but I wish there was a way to input a frequency vs choosing from a list. Some of the sectors for Seattle Center aren’t available to listen to. Update?? ✓ Excellent app!!This is a great app - an excellent partner to PlaneFinder HD. To all those suing no uk feeds, I respect your opinion, but suggest you do slightly more research before posting a 1 star review for such an excellent app. For those who can't be bothered, a law in the uk, passed during world war two, states basically that if a radio feed isn't intended for you specifically to hear, then you shouldn't hear it. So taking that in the account there is nothing that liveatc can do bout it - so 5 stars for an excellent app from me! Well done!.Version: 1.7.3
✓ MrGreat app, not quite 100% live, but that is understandable. Only issue with it is the extremely low volume. iPad volume is full, even plugged into speakers with volume full it is far too quiet. Please consider fixing this in an update and it would gain another star. Cheers.Version: 1.9.0

✓ Love the app, why the criticism?It’s strange how many 1-star reviews criticize either the availability of a particular field or the quality of the reception. Do they realize the feeds are crowd sourced? One guy complained about paying $4 for the app. Well, this app is worth every penny of $4 for those interested in aviation like me. If you want a field added, then go buy a scanner and hook it up. If you’re dependent on this app for a critical operational function that is broken when the feed goes down, then you’re insane, buy a VHF radio. In the meantime, try to accomplish 5% of what this app does for $4 and I’ll applaud you cheapskates with both hands..Version: 2.1.1
✓ Great app with great selection at good valueAs a new aviation enthusiast, I find myself listening to this app several hours each week while I work. There's an amazing selection of frequencies to choose from and I don't understand the complaints from others regarding selection. It's unrealistic to expect all airports and frequencies but the major airports are covered here. Awesome selection. I love choosing a random airport and then cycling through the different frequencies for ground, departure or approach. Great app for a good price that's even more fun when used with a live radar app. I highly recommend this..Version: 1.9.0

✓ Overall it's okI broadcast two feeds on here. Overall, it's one of the best air traffic control feeds out there, compared to the other less advanced feeds. One of my two feeds doesn't always stay on after 7 minutes, but my other feed, I can leave it on for the whole day with no problems. It's perfect for on the go and at home. Sometimes it disconnects and reconnects, but that's just a minor inconvenience. I do recommend it for anyone else. The weather METARS take more than a half hour to update too..Version: 1.8.2
