✓ Was hookedI love this game! A good mind exercise. I’ve been playing it quite awhile now. So one day I clicked on the add to pay to have no more adds . Decided not to pay the money. We’ll ever since I did that , right in the middle of the game, it goes to a ad. Ad’s never came till the end of the game. It’s getting annoying and I will probably play less now. I just feel like it’s doing this purposely since I wouldn’t pay! I’ll try a few more times, if it keeps up, then I’ll have to find another challenging game to play.😔 Hi, I’m adding to my review… if you did something on your end , it’s working!! ✓ Fun, but a couple things.First off, this is a surprisingly fun game. I play it all the time, and I enjoy the way the game works. Unfortunately, there are two things that aren’t great. 1) The first thing is the times that game provides a ridiculous set of blocks where none of them are usable. It’s extremely annoying to be at 2,000 points and the next set appears followed by a “No More Moves.” 2) The second thing is where it kicks me out for no reason and resets my progress. That happened recently when I was doing really well and the game just kicked me out. When I got back in, the board was entirely empty. I was extremely ticked. I’m not trying to judge the game or sound extremely critical, but, if those things are fixed, this game would be perfect..Version: 3.2.4

✓ Improved since first tryWhen I first tried this game I did like it, except for the frequent crashes that drove me mad - so much so that I kicked it out. For a long time I didn’t even consider giving it another chance. But after a long separation, I eventually gave it another go . . . and I have to admit it’s still here with me! The game is easy to learn, and quite compulsive to keep having just one more go . . . several times in a row. The difficulty progresses as you play, so you always want to see if you can beat your last score this time. The stability of the thing is so much better now, which makes it more fun as well as more frustrating. The improvement I would love to see is the removal of all adverts - but sadly, those things are everywhere these days. They are the main reason I have to stop playing any game now. They can lock up a game, which makes me want to never play again . . . but sometimes I do return, and Woody is a game I don’t want to give up on yet..Version: 1.3.4

✓ Lovely pastime!The sounds, the simple but comfortable graphics, the ease yet difficulty as you progress... This game makes you think but not to the point where your brain hurts! Basically, you place the wood blocks anywhere you like on the board and the aim is to fill a line, either horizontally or vertically making sure you have enough space to put down the following blocks. Sounds simple enough but trust me, it gets more and more difficult as you plod along! It is fun and releases those lovely endorphins, relaxing and frustrating at the same time. A big plus is that you DON’T get loads of those annoying adverts in the middle of your game, though you do get a couple of short ones in between games, fair enough, seeing as though most games flood your device with continual adverts every couple of moves nowadays! ✓ Love this puzzleThis puzzle is really addictive. It’s a great challenge trying to beat your highest score. My only gripe is the adverts at the bottom of the screen, which I think slows it down. It’s so frustrating when you’re trying to move a block and just waiting for it to move. It’s starting to put me off playing, which is a shame. I haven’t got a problem with the ads between games. ✓ ExcellentThis game is way more addicting than it seems like it should be. It’s like Tetris, but without all of the things I hate about Tetris. It’s not timed or anything, so you can play at your own pace, and you can put the blocks anywhere they fit on the board, not just on top of previously placed blocks. It’s a great game because it doesn’t require much concentration, so you can have somewhat absentminded conversations while playing it. I mostly play it while listening to podcasts, because it helps to have something to occupy that part of my mind that just gets bored listening to things and doing nothing else. Also there’s no competition or anything. The only score you’re trying to beat is your own. So you set the bar as high as you’re able to, and then work to beat that personal record. It!s a lot like another wood puzzle that although I was also addicted to it, I quit playing after it didn’t heed my warning about the political ads - Specifically Biden - Harris ads. ✓ Relaxing, fun game, with cheap no ads optionThis simple game helped me focus while trying to fall asleep and the levels are usually quick enough for me to play one or two games while waiting at dr appointments etc. I have ADD, and games that are too flashy and have several layers tend to overwhelm me. The game usually played one quick ad after each level which was frustrating when I made a particularly bad move, but when I saw they had a lifetime ad-free offer for around $2, I jumped on it. I play this game almost every day and without ads it’s SO much better. They also have a free skin that’s available around most holidays that you can opt to use. ✓ New Ad UpdateI truly enjoy the game, but with the new ad system I can no longer play the game when I want. I normally use Woody to wind down my brain and quiet persistent rapid thoughts before bed. It works great and I’m normally able to play for around 15-25 minutes and fall asleep well. Before I only got ads when I messed up and ran out of space, but now it interrupts me in the middle of placing block with an ad break. Granted the ads are only 5 or so seconds (10 with the ad break pop up screen before and after) but it’s enough time for me to get irritated and stops my resting habits. I’ve had the game since 2020 and I’m sad to potentially delete it, and I know it’s an incentive to buy the $4.99 subscription but that’s an entire gallon of gas these days and I just can’t afford that. I know times are tough and there’s a big need to make money from games these days, so I place no blame on the creators, if I didn’t use the game mainly for sleep purposes I’d probably have no problems except mild irritation since sometimes the ad breaks are a few minutes apart..Version: 3.4.1

✓ Great Game but the Ads are overwhelmingI love this game. It is relaxing and super fun. Not buggy or laggy. Just fantastic to wind down or pass time waiting in a waiting room etc. I subtracted a star because like most people the ads are super overwhelming to me. I would rather have an option to buy the app. Just having ads in general is one thing. I have had this app for about 3 months and before I updated the app it was an annoyance to see the ads after losing a game. Usually a 30 second battery sucking video it forces you to watch without option to skip. Ok. Then once I updated the app this week... i now get ads before and after games. Some are better stoppable ads but a lot of them blast sound even when your phone is on mute and sound turned all the way down. And if they’re both non-skippable... that’s 1 minute of your life wasted on garbage any time you want to play a game. Not really worth it anymore. The game itself is great. ✓ Amazing gameI literally play this game every single day, it’s addictive even when I get tired of playing it I’ll start playing it again like 10 minutes after I close the app, the only problem is I feel like the next update should be generated whereas though instead of ending the game because the last puzzle piece can’t fit I feel like new puzzles should be throw onto the selection board to replace the 2 that were already used that way you can try to make room for the next puzzle piece, I still like the game though. ✓ Awesome Game!Great way to have fun without killing too much time. Super awesome way to challenge yourself, very addictive. Point to note; Always almost immediately after beating my high score I’ll die. This stinks, because the game will generate not one but three giant pieces in order to force you to lose. It really stinks considering the fact that this shouldn’t happen, I should be able to play after beating my high score, but the game doesn’t just get harder, it almost immediately forces you to lose. This has happened a few times now, it’s a huge bummer... 🧐🙁 The Ads are ok, they don’t interrupt gameplay and I have yet to see any pornographic imagery so everything is good, thumbs up on my end 😁 👍 Having a competitive mode would be cool, but I feel like it takes away from the whole aspect of the game. I’ve played and deleted several high paced, action games, and this feels different, and it makes me want to keep it around. I feel as if the game was changed, it would morph into another imitation Candy Crush, Lord knows there’s too many of those. All in all it’s a great game. I have a suggestion, maybe adding a few different things like being able to customise the colour of your board that you use in the game (not texture, that’d ruin the name!). ✓ Impossible SituationsOverall this game is very enjoyable but there are two things which i don’t exactly enjoy, the one which doesn’t annoy me as much as the other is ads, when i open up the game sometimes i get advertisements but there are never many advertisements throughout the game. the second bad thing is what i like to call ‘impossible situations’ this is where you are given a combination of blocks which simply cannot break a line or create enough space to fit the entire 3 blocks in, no matter what way you do it therefore ending your game. although that is a major problem i am sure what is given to you is randomised which is the mistake. despite these ‘impossible situations’ the game can be surprisingly enjoyable and isn’t full of ads (there are very few, unlike some games) and you can play offline which i see as a major benefit.Version: 2.2.6

Using Woody and Woodstacks I am now using parts of my brain I would not utilise otherwise. I have advised other TBI’s to do these puzzles also to assist their recoveries. Coin score. I have almost 23,000 coins in my iPad 9.000 in my mini iPad and 5000 on my iPhone, I do not intend to use these coins, but the scores being there make me try harder to improve I now have reached 1800 in Woody. ✓ Fun Game!This has been a fun game for last week or so. A couple days ago, I noticed scoring is no longer 10 points for each block as stated in game Q&A. It’s only scoring 1 (one) point per block now. No big deal—it is just a game, but thought it was weird...thought maybe it was just me imagining I had been seeing 10points per block, lol, so looked up Q&A. Also I tried to give feedback on the scoring through that “have a question” option but it’s an automated “let’s-play-20-questions-first-before-you-can-select-the ‘nope none of the above,’” But...to SEND the question, you have to provide your email address without any info avail on what is done w the email address(privacy & retention policy). Anyway, overall a very fun game! Gave 4 stars because ads are rather long considering the frequency & that several of the ads don’t actually load a way to “x” out, even after waiting—the ads only load an “—>” which then boots you over to the advertised app in the App Store. I understand that “free” is not free and the ads won’t prevent me from playing this game. Just thought I should provide feedback for the developers. Did I say it’s a FUN game?
