Essential Oils Reference EO for Negative User Reviews

Read Privacy details!!!Collects very detailed information if you use this app. Buyer beware..Version: 1.7

SPYWARE BEWAREThis app starts with a demand for your agreement to permit private info to be taken. Accept their agreement, and you permit access to your name, user names, passwords, as well as the contact info of your friends and contacts, and info on your network, any other networked computers you may be connected to, and so on. The mentions of browser information also suggest that any saved passwords in your browsers would potentially be harvested too. Please read the agreement for yourself to confirm these and other details. IMHO the user agreement was tantamount to permit data rape. When reading the user agreement's specific targeting of private information, I felt a violation of trust, and that rather than pedaling oils, the harvesting of personal information may have been the primary intention of the developers. This company is likely planning to sell your information, after sneaking into the files of the iPad/iPhone users, hoping to have users overlook the data rape the app's usage agreement permits. I withdraw any permissions of any kind made to Endless loop Apps Inc, or the agents, and explicitly forbid their use of any information they may have collected in any transactions. I also explicitly forbid the transfer of any data collected from any of my devices to any third party, or any storage mediums, or backup devices. Other users of this iPad or other iPads whose information may have been compromised by Endless Loop Apps Inc's software may also have legal concerns over inappropriate access to their information in the contact information that may have been collected without their permission. There are only about 54 oils and oil blends listed in the app. Are there any oils mentioned which are not marketed by this app, or their associates? Is this app simply an advertising and data harvesting effort? In my opinion, the usage agreement shows data collection is the primary motivation, and such extensive data harvesting threatens the data security of any user, who might have hoped for just essential oil data. Not knowing how efficient the data harvesting is, I am going to change all my passwords, for my apple ID, for my emails, for any accounts that may be cached in the password cache for any of the browsers, and my wifi passwords, my network logons, my cloud accounts for my banking passwords that may be caught in browser caches data backup and storage, and anything else I can find the user agreements potentially referring to. IMHO Apple store should pull such apps off the shelf, and punish sneaky data harvesting. I recommend this app not be used, and if you have used the app, that you reset all your security information passwords, especially where any banking or credit information might be exposed, as in browsers. Need to update ASAPPlease update with new oils. I assumed you would update accordingly when I purchased this app. I should know better..Version: 1.9

Very disappointingDidn’t include the new oils from dōTERRA, mislead because it said it did have new oils and the last update was a month ago, so I assumed it had the new ones. Also, very generic, limited info..Version: 1.9

Oils AppWell I like it, or the concept. Please update to make usage more in-depth. People need to know and understand if the essential oil is topical, and internal. Also how to apply.Version: 1.8

AwfulNo dosages, not useful at all.Version: 1.8

Promptly uninstalledThis app forces acceptance of a large user licence agreement, which when you decline refuses to close the app. So defacto forcing you to press 'I agree' which I didnt want to do. Had to force close the app to get out. Reference to 'virtual goods' made me ask what precisely I was agreeing to, in an app which I assumed was just a reference guide.Version: 1.8

No updates for a yearThe app is user friendly and offers easily searchable general information. However, it hasn’t been updated for over a year and therefore doesn’t have any of the new oils..Version: 1.9

Doterra basedNot happy to buy this and discover it is Doterra based. I specifically didn’t want a Doterra app!!!.Version: 1.9

Must agree to EULA before use!Cannot access app's contents without agreeing to the EULA license agreement first. That means agreeing to allow the app to collect information about you as per their privacy policy. Read the fine print first!.Version: 1.8

Not the bestI do not usually rate apps but I have to say I only bought this to have information on the Doterra blends. This app does not compare to the young living app..Version: 1.8

Not as thorough as I expectedThe information isn't thorough and it can be misleading. Under the usage tab it is so generic; how much can you use, how many drops with a carrier oil? Very disappointing. For example: One area says cypress can be used internally (I don't think that it true), another says add to shampoo for oily hair, but when you look up cypress it doesn't mention those 2 things. This seems like a rough draft, please improve it!.Version: 1.8

Limited and not updatedI use this only to keep a list of my oils. The newest oils aren’t in the update and it’s been over a month. Quite disappointing..Version: 1.9

Not badI'm wondering why they put half the oils under "D" for doterra instead of listing them by oil name. Very annoying. And I have the app for YL also and it's not done that way. The YL app also has more conditions to choose from. Seems like maybe this app was thrown together whereas the YL app is more complete..Version: 1.0
