Heart Rate Pro-Health Monitor for Positive User Reviews

Love it!I need to track my pulse for a heart condition. I have trouble finding it with my finger so I’ve been using a stethoscope. This is much easier and I always have my phone nearby. For $1.99 for the ad-free pro version you can’t beat it!.Version: 2.4

AccurateI measured my heartbeat using the timer on my iPad and found that this app gave me the same results. So for $3 it’s a very quick and convenient way to take my pulse. Quite happy with this app..Version: 2.0

Nice app, but not accurate at high ratesIn general, nice simple app to track Pulse. Price was low enough. Although I have to add I find it doesn’t count well at high rates like while intensely exercising. It measures about 105 when I was more like 140. I could see the beats on the monitor where missing beats I could feel. I presume this is a limit of the device (camera/light source), not the app..Version: 1.4

A good usable appI wrote a review the other week because the camera light was not always coming on, but after switching the iPhone 7+ off and back on it’s been working ok. It would still be nice to side scroll the graph though. After further use of this app the camera light it still very intermittent to whether it comes on or not which gets frustratingly annoying which is bound to up your pulse rate. It’s about time this problem was fixed..Version: 2.4

LorraineRuns on par with my fit bit , very easy to use ,I up graded to the no add version , love it❤️.Version: 2.4

Amazing and accurateI have heart issues and checked it against EMT and ER and Hospital devices and it is accurate every time! Handy and worth spending money on deluxe version! Doctors used info to help evaluate me because I had an accurate documentation Thanks for such a great app!.Version: 2.4

Awesome App!I have been checking my heart rate using this app and is amazing. Currently I am under treatment for a rapid heart beat and when I measured my heart beat using the app it accurately reflects the condition by showing an abnormal heart rate..Version: 2.4

Seems accurateI’ve used this for “a minute” now. I’ve tested it against my wife’s paid BP app and tested (just once) against the doctors office. It was 2 off. I gave it 3 stars because real app reviewers know to only look at 3 star reviews..Version: 2.4

Stress and oxygen levelsShould also generate stress and oxygen levels.Version: 2.4

Love itLove the app not sure how accurate it is. Thow I feel less stressed out about my heart rate while I’m using the app.Version: 2.4

For Simple then betterIt is simple to use and it doesn’t bother with constant pop ups. Seems to work in terms of calculating your hart rate throughout the use of your cámara and flash light.Version: 2.4

Blood rate monitorGreat love it.Version: 2.4

Update for iphone 13 pro max?Very difficult to use in this phone. I have been using it for a year before upgrading. great app. just on this phone with 3 cameras… very strange to get a reading and it be accurate like before. please advise.Version: 2.4

GoodGood app.Version: 2.4

My cardiologist gives it two thumbs up.I’d give this app a 5 star ⭐️ except I can’t change the day/month/year order into just that: first the day, then the month, then the year. My cardiologist was impressed when I showed him the app. He said I’d pay a couple hundred dollars for the same data at a hospital. Then his nurse gave me an EKG and we looked at the difference. Very interesting. Warning: Don’t even think this app is a mini EKG machine, or any other professional medical apparatus. It’s not. Do not use this app in that way. That’s dangerous. If you want an EKG go get one done by a qualified health professional. Additionally, just because my cardiologist was impressed other cardiologists may think differently. Seek qualified professional care. No DIY allowed..Version: 2.4

Great AppI have had heart bypass and this app helps keep me from panicking with every pain or twinge.Version: 2.4

ReassuringThis app gives piece of mind and fast readings. As long as you have the phone with you checking your heart rate is just a button away. Wish you could do an app the same for blood pressure. That would be wonderful to keep the anxiety away. Many thanks Jane.Version: 2.4

Great appThis is the best app by far that I have found to accurately measure heart rate. I have compared its measurements to both Fitbit measurements as well as manual measurements and found that they were extremely similar. Very easy to use, and possibly the only app that works efficiently with a case covering the lens..Version: 2.4

Accurate yet so simple to useBrought a new fitness tracker which didn’t have a heart rate function So tried the lite version of this and immediately upgraded to the pro version!! I love free apps and do my best not to pay for them. So that in its self says it all 🤨.Version: 1.4

Please add a line for notesAccurate enough because I have compared this to the number I get on my Apple I Watch and to the HR monitors on the treadmills and elliptical machines at the gym. A note line would be nice for keeping data on specific things like anxiety, panic attack, anything brindles just normal or working out. My question is on the saved, I see date but where is time of day?.Version: 2.2

App reviewThis app is very accurate compared to me manually taking my pulse. I have an irregular heart beat. So far the app is within 1 or 2 beats of manual. Have not used when experiencing heart beat of 170 per minute. Perfect so far. Being able to record results makes it even better. Thank you..Version: 2.2

Great AppI love the constant output during the test. I do have a couple of recommendations that would help this app be more helpful to people with heart rythym disorders. First, it would be nice to be able to set the duration of the test. For me, I found that it Monitored too quickly. Second, if you could introduce a playback option to see the Heartrate fluctuations for Afib..Version: 2.4

Blood pressure app pro versionI can’t measure blood pressure how do l do that. I have the pro version.Version: 2.8

Very niceLove it when an app has a once only price. Upgraded from lite version but can’t find old history.Version: 2.4

Old game in townWhat are u doing with Parot u taking it to the park to play to play on wee bike.Version: 9.0

ReviewThe titles are written in Chinese and I can not change it. I also payed for it so money wasted. That’s life!.Version: 1.4

Heart monitorVery easy to use and extremely accurate..Version: 2.4

Great: Simple not complicatedPlease add a "continuous measurement" function, like I've seen in older heart rate apps that are no longer available. I use this app to monitor my PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) and sometimes they are spaced far apart, so the default measurement time is too short..Version: 1.4

Save the line chartSave the line chart (ECG) too not just the bpm number. And add export data as .csv or .txt file..Version: 1.4

Great app until iPhone’s triple camera design.Had used this app nicely following heart attack. Unfortunately since upgrading to the new iPhone 12 Pro Max with triple camera / flash, I can no longer use it as the phone design doesn’t allow it. Seems like the same finger is needed in both the camera and flash, which of course can’t be possible. Tried more than one finger or the palm etc, it just won’t cut it. I would presume any health app using the same sensor would suffer the same issue now. Unless there’s a way around it I am not aware of maybe..Version: 2.4

TrueAll I can say is … beans on the tin .. beans in the tin …. It carries out what it says.Version: 2.4

AmazingI was skeptical how accurate this app was going to be but now that I’ve been using it for about a month and have compared it the standard wearable BP monitors I can honestly say that this app was within only 2-3 points different. #PERFECTION.Version: 2.8

Happy with this appThank you so much makes it a lot easier to keep information on about your health.Version: 2.4

Heart rate checkingI believe this app to be very accurate and is easy to use. This one you can export your finding to were you need them to go. Very good tool to have.Version: 2.4

Simple way to check heart ratePretty easy to use once your finger’s in the right place..Version: 2.8

Best valueCan’t ask for more, works well and has decent but basic historic data. Well worth the upgrade to pro (one-off price).Version: 2.8

SuggestionsIt would be nice to edit results in case you were walking and the setting is left on normal. Shouldn’t be too tough to do. That or allow to delete a result if you forgot to make proper settings.Version: 2.4

Great app does exactly what it says it doesReally like the app, as someone who has heart issues from open heart surfers twice to change my mitral valve I suffer with arrhythmias, although this won’t give you an exact measurement it is pretty close and a good average can be worked out, or you can count the beats out your self with the clock or timer to verify how close the app is, I find the graph particularly handy especially when I see my Cardiologist, it gives him an insight in to the condition weather my heart is getting worse or not. All in all it’s a great app for a phone bp monitor, don’t be expecting it to give you reading like in hospital or at your GP surgery because it won’t be exact like them, but considering it’s free and always within a few beats higher or lower it’s a great app and recommend this particular app if this is what your looking for..Version: 2.4

CoolOnly have to put near camera.Version: 2.4

HeartacheI’ve just used it for a couple days, and so far, it’s easy & accurate. After some time using it, I can see ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️..Version: 2.4

HeartRateProI got this app about 2 weeks ago after a fitting for a mask. My heart beat was all over the place. It went as low as 70 and as high as 115 so they to monitor it. So I bought this app. My rate is high for the most part but the app is helpful being able to save so when I talk to my dr next week I can tell him..Version: 2.4

Great app could just do with a comments sectionI love this app and compared to the separate medical equipment you have to buy to do the same it’s a bargain. I love all aspects of the app my only criticism would be it lacks a comment section for you to add notes about what exactly you were doing before/during taking your pulse, other than that fantastic.Version: 2.2

PerfectWow.Version: 2.4

UsefulIt gives me the information I need. Very sensitive. Filters work well. It would be great if the rest of the strip was not muted when you have a large Beat..Version: 2.4

Wish it had custom labeling after taking heart rateI wish after I took my heart rate it would give me the option to add a custom label to it. Right now it only has normal, resting, and exercise as the options. For example, I’d like to be able add a custom label such as “after drinking coffee” so I can track my heart rate in specific scenarios. Overall for a $2 app, it’s pretty good.Version: 1.4

HeartbeatI like to monitor my heartbeat walking briskly up hills and during sports activities it’s a great piece of kit I’m really pleased with it!.Version: 1.4

Well worth £1.99I love this app, it does exactly what it says on the tin.. no useless features and just what I needed..Version: 2.2

Excellent and accurateI tested this along side a pulse oximeter and the results were the same. I’m very impressed..Version: 2.4

Good but has one problemIt’s a good app when it comes to measuring your heart rate but the only thing I’ve found hard with it is that it’s hard to put one finger over the flashlight and the camera on any phone with 3 cameras. Other than that though it’s a good and reliable app..Version: 2.8

Heart conditionGot this app because I needed to monitor my heart rate whilst taking medication. Brilliant very easy to use and perfect for me ..Version: 1.4

BrilliantVery accurate, easy to use intuitive layout, well worth the price 😎.Version: 2.4

Works wellDoes.Version: 2.4

Great appImpressive app specialist heart nurse liked the info on record at time of incident when I felt unwell. Ability to print out last 12 readings would be good step forward.Version: 2.4

Love this appIt is on point having compared it while at my drs. Easy and convenient to use. Highly recommended.Version: 1.4

Simple & easyLovely app, very simple and not complicated and do the job perfectly..Version: 2.4

Works far better than othersI spent last night and this AM testing many pulse taking apps. Most worked inconsistently or not at all, and were immediately deleted. This one worked every time. It took me just a few minutes to purchase pro to get rid of the ads.Version: 1.1

RateDoctors tell me that heart rate are around 70 but it says 60 on this allow my heart rate resting is around 57 an that is very low.Version: 1.4

Excellent App for Afib patientsUsing this app to monitor and record heart rate to insure medications are working at the proper level. Also the ability to record and send info. Is great. I love the graph to review past history at a glance. Heart rate is very accurate. Highly recommend this app..Version: 2.4

Works wellAs long as your fingers are warm, still and light contact maintained. Easy to misinterpret if not done properly..Version: 2.4

A reliable way of checking your pulse!Only one grumble - your pulse history isn't transferred when you upgrade to the Pro version. A separate app appears on your home screen, so you can either keep or delete the Lite version as you wish..Version: 2.4

Most accurateI love the interface. If there was a way to import my saved data/ history from the free version it would be 5 stars..Version: 2.4

New customerJust need to learn about it. But looks good.Version: 2.4

Awesome app.I was in hospital after heart attack. I downloaded this app and compared it to my monitor. 9 out of 10 times it was either right on or 1 beat different. Other heartbeat apps were more the 5-10 beats off. I went with Pro version. Best 1.99 I spent in awhile..Version: 2.4

Awesome appI’ve tried other apps and while they work, it’s hard to get through all the junk they throw at you. This one is simple and works great. Go Pro for just .99 and enjoy no commercials..Version: 1.4

LegitI been enjoying this app and have found it very accurate, usually +- 2 beats, even when working out. Here’s what i would like to see, i have a resting bpm of 54 and a normal in the upper 70’s but at work, which is very manual but not what i would consider to be a workout, my bpm is usually between 90 and 120. So the charts look like i have a high bpm on avg just normal. Would like to see a selection for work of something along that line so i would have resting, normal, work and workout..Version: 1.4

Why is the data bar chart backwards?Seems a good app, but the 12th data bar is in position 1, and the first is position 12. Can I suggest the Chinese developer ask for some advice for the versions using western languages? And I won’t be impressed if I get a response identical to everyone else’s..Version: 2.8

Good appI really like this app. The full version is much cheaper than other heart monitor apps and it works really well. It may not have as many cool settings as other apps, but that doesn’t really bother me. It does exactly what I need it to do..Version: 1.4

Good but need icon for after eatingAs well as resting, normal and exercise.Version: 2.4

Love this AptEasy to use and accurate. Heart docs like it too. Only negative is that you can’t reset the data. Would be good to be able to delete data points you know are errors, or done by someone else..Version: 2.0

Good App. Improvement SuggestionAdd a ‘Special’ category besides ‘Normal’, ‘Walking’, etc. for those ‘Hick-Ups’, ‘ rhythms’, etc. An edit function to change categories would also be useful..Version: 2.4

Works very wellExcellent little app that reliably always does what it says.Version: 2.4

Hunter2*I think it’s awful that in order to get a measurement you have to accept things offered or you can’t get one especially if you need it..Version: 2.4

How to edit historyHi! I like this app - EZ to use & helpful. However, I can’t find a way to edit a state erroneously saved to the wrong state. For example, I saved a heart rate to Normal, but I was Walking; therefore when I filter by Normal, my stats are skewed. Only reason for not giving 5 starts - not enough info in Help..Version: 2.4

SoundSorry seems the change in the sound icon from muted to not muted is simply a background color change and hardly noticeable. Once I did worked fine! Sorry for the false alarm!! LOl.Version: 2.4

Heart Rate proThis is a great easy to use app , it gives me peace of mind if I need it..Version: 2.4

Works PerfectlyCouldn’t fault this app if I tried. It’s clever, simple and reliable. I love that it hooks into Apple’s Health app, so I can keep a global overview of my health :).Version: 2.4

Saved my heartThis app showed my heart was beating 140+ a minute. After going to the doctors and hospital I’m now on beta blockers to slow it down . We other meds I’m doing great now a must have app truly thankful.Version: 1.4

Bugs with reminder in premium - language issueCan you fix the reminder on premium version? Mine is in Chinese and no option to change..Version: 1.4

Excellent AppVery easy to use and accurate.Version: 2.4

Works greatI have been using this app for a while now and I have found it very useful..Version: 2.4

Excellent app but could you include a ‘notes’ section allowing user to record situation/activity.Have migrated from other similar apps and appreciate the simplicity of the screen and not being bombed with constant requests to upgrade. Nothing is perfect but for me this is as close as it gets 👍.Version: 2.3

Heart rate proJust purchased this and it keeps telling me no camera. Doesn’t say how to rectify this ? I used the first heart rate monitor and found it useful. Can’t use that now as pro as taken over and keep telling me no camera think I have just wasted my money. As I can’t contact anyone though the app. Disappointed I have only rated one star as it would not let me send unless I rated this app but I would not have rated it at all..Version: 2.4

Good appSeems to be a good accurate app however to make it better i would like to see the ability to add a note after you have taken your heart rate and would also like to see a setting for continuous use so then I could use it for say a stand up test to see how much my heart rate changes by standing in one place for 10 minutes..Version: 1.4

Good appDoes what is says simply and offers history of results.Version: 1.4
