MealPrepPro Planner & Recipes for Negative User Reviews

If you’re a foodie who’s made of money and not diabetic this is the app for youSet up with simple although it would be nice to have more than one gender option and a body type option, It’s nice that you can choose what foods you either do not like or you are allergic to unfortunately there is no option for diabetics to wean out those high sugar items, which brings me to my next point, The food planet made had the sort of foods that someone like myself who is diabetic would get in trouble if they ate, for example Chocolate date smoothie for breakfast?, might as well ask me if I would like a diabetic coma with that. Also a lot of the food items in the food plan are not readily available, just by perusing the shopping list are created quite a few of the items would have to be bought from specialty stores and would not be cheap, that along with no choice for diabetics and the other issues is why this app is not for me. personally unless your A foodie money to burn I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.Version: 3.36

Way off!So at 439lbs & 6 feet tall the app told me I need to eat 3,700 calories a day to loose weight! Not even close!.Version: 2.1.1

Immediately charged $65I was immediately charged for the free trial, Apple will refund but not the $7 tax. This is becoming a huge issue with Apple, they do not refund the tax so if you are charged like this you still lose money. It's insane. Stay clear of this app..Version: 3.41

Review I wish I had readI tried to go through reviews to see if it was worth the subscription price and nobody seemed to touch too much on it. If you don’t get the subscription it’s very hard to customize a week worth of food planning. It’s about $9 a month. I have mine set to “pantry staples” which is supposed to be the most cost effective planning option. For two people, 4 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack) 7 days a week, it’s costing me about $75-$120 a week in groceries at Walmart. Just to give you an idea incase budget has any sway in your choice for this app. A lot of the recipes have been very bland so far, even with extra seasoning added, some are okay and all are edible, just not the most tasty things I’ve had. I haven’t had anything I hate just yet and nothing that taste downright bad, just bland. I’m sticking with the app right now because even with the down sides, it’s helped make grocery shopping easier and takes all of the guest work out of figuring out what we want to eat for dinner every day..Version: 2.105

3.0 upgradeHow this app could pass QA? I updated it and immediately I can see 3 bugs and missing features from the previous version. In current state the app is unusable for me. I am very disappointed. Bugs: - app for some reason duplicated people on my plan - meals on prep tab are duplicated and it doesn’t show the same meals as I can see in the detail - I can see the developer menu, which I can assume is for internal use only Missing feature: - I cannot switch food for some days only. I.e. if I have a banana for 7 days, I cannot switch three days for an apple. I have to switch all seven days for the apple. In the previous version it was possible. And there will be more. This is not a cheap app, I hope you’ll fix it fast. Edit: Changed rating from 1 star to 3 after finding about the feature to add meals to meal plan..Version: 3.0

Needs improvement90 meals are chicken. You also cannot modify your macros to your specific need. Update: I don’t think what I said was clear based on developer response 1. There is no flexibility with creating macros when editing it yourself-protein, fats and carbs are set within a certain percentage range and for someone who needs to change it for weight loss and muscle gain makes it challenging 2. When I do get CLOSE enough to setting my specific macros, literally 90% my meals are chicken, even when I have selected I am ok with other types of meat. The breakfast menu is lacking as well. 3. The flexibility plan and the high protein plan does not at all give the correct macros by a long shot and I would find myself way off course with the specific macros that I want. 4. There are no values for other macros such as amount of cholesterol, potassium, etc in food. 5. You cannot scan barcodes of food to add to recipes, you have no option to edit recipes, the option to add a meal is lacking and the least we could have is a search bar available with foods (ex. Fruits, dairy, etc) we can add to our meals 6. It would be nice to have the ability to add calories burned during exercise calculated in the macros also. I find it frustrating to have to pay for something that should be free or updated with the basic feature it offers..Version: 3.68

Love the meal planning hate the app featuresI love the meal planning but I really need this app to update some features. For example, I choose to create my own recipe, well macros, can’t add recipes and on the days I select the meal I created, I can’t swap it again. This doesn’t allow flexibility even though I may need it some days. The developers should also consider allowing a connection to other health apps such MyFitnessPal for recipes and to double check nutrition on meals. Not all ingredients from the app are created equally so it would be nice to double check and be able make substitutions to the meals. For example, I hate brown rice but love cauliflower rice, would love to substitute it, save my carbs for a snack. Also the shopping list misses items sometimes or it doesn’t calculate what I need correctly. Lastly, the how to portion is wayyyy off sometimes. I was told to check cook 1 lb 3 oz of quinoa raw, once cooked it told me to split for myself and spouse, I still had 1 1/2 cups left after dividing. Same thing happened to me when cooking brown rice. Always end up wasting food or me not getting enough. Anyway, love having a plan to get me through the week but I want more from the app..Version: 2.80

Needs way more flexibilityProtein ratios are too high at times. It means my meals are essentially just meat, purely meat, with a small garnish of rice.... Also, why force me to have a snack? My snack too is nearly half of my daily carbs. So don’t force me to have a snack per day and then I can actually enjoy more carbs with my meat. I love the app but the meals I’m eating are kind of disgustingly ratioed toward way too much meat. I won’t subscribe till there’s more flexibility with stuff like ratios (just let us put a protein quota) and snacks..Version: 2.21

Unrealistic and expensive recipesI’ve been looking for an app like this for a while that are organised with meal prepping in mind, to allow me to organise myself for the week and spend less money and time on food. Firstly the app is very well designed and has a lot going for it, but for my first meal plan for a week it proposed a shopping list with 69 separate ingredients to buy for only 4 meals! These were mostly spices and the like, but a lot were unnecessary variations of similar ingredients, such as garlic cloves and garlic paste. I get that the idea is to add variation but the meals aren’t organised practically with budget (or sense) in mind, and are often ingredients suited to that one recipe that aren’t very versatile to be used in other meals. Also the app doesn’t allow you to indicate food you can’t eat or don’t like. The overall organisation and planning of the app is A+. If the meal plans were a bit more realistic in terms of number of ingredients, budget, versatility, time, etc I would easily give it five stars; but as it is I don’t think I’ll pay for the subscription..Version: 1.2.0

GoodGood.Version: 3.54

Price?It doesn’t say how much it costs??.Version: 2.3

More plant based recipes pleaseThis app has nailed every feature I want but is now lacking somewhat in the recipe variety for the plant based diet. Without more recipes (one example is something that includes pasta) I’ll probably end up cancelling my subscription which I really don’t want to do. 🙏🏽.Version: 2.20

SyncI wish this app would sync with MyFitnessPal so I can track my fitness with my Fitbit..Version: 1.13.0

No access without subscriptionDon’t waste my time! If you require a subscription to see the app that should be stated. And no, in app purchase is not descriptive enough..Version: 2.18

Used to be great, until the latest updateThis app used to be perfect but this new interface has absolutely ruined it. Used to have a ton of flexibility when swapping meals, adding family and was very intuitive. It’s become a lot more complex for no reason at all. It’s probably still perfect for a single person, but when using for multiple people it’s really gotten too complex.Version: 3.1.1

Great food, but Portions are way too big!I will first preface with the fact that I don’t use this app regularly, but there are some weeks I use this app to prep the entire week for. I love the shopping list and being able to mark off ingredients you have bought and prepared. The biggest problem I face with this app is the portions. Based on my weight and height the app suggests I eat up to 1800 calories which isn’t unreasonable although a little high based on my low exercise. With this I would expect the portions to be relatively small but for even the 3 day meals I make enough that at a glance I feel like I could eat for a whole week. I notice this even as I use the grocery shop list because I buy much more food than I would on my own. I would rate at five stars because the app is very nice and easy to use and the recipes are much better than I would make on my own, but as it is the portions upset the balance of everything else in the app. If I physically can’t finish all the food I prep for the given days I am supposed to eat, then I have to wait longer before I prep my next batch of food. I also spend longer eating the same food! Which I don’t mind, but I know others definitely would. I feel as though even my settings are for weight loss, I will be gaining weight at the rate this app expects me to eat!.Version: 2.33

Not good with macrosThe app does not allow for multiple meals (I eat 5 per day), not does it allow me to adjust macro content per meal or adjust the name of each meal. So for example, this is a training day: Meal 1: 32g protein, 20g carbs, 10g fat Pre workout: 32g protein, 40g carb, 5g fat Post workout: 32g protein, 40g carbs, 5g fat Meal 4: 32g protein, 20g carb, 10g fat Meal 5: 32g protein, 20g carb, 10g fat It also does not allow for me to have different macros for my non training days. If it accommodated these needs it would be a great meal planning tool..Version: 3.69

New recipesNew recipes with meat options would be nice, a lot of the new recipes added are all vegetarian, a meat or vegetarian option for new recipes would be an improvement..Version: 3.70.1

HopelessDespite reviews saying similar, I thought I’d give it a try. However, the lack of flexibility immediately became obvious as nowhere could I note that I was Type 1 diabetic which naturally impacts quite a lot on my meal choices! Anyway I opted for Low Carb, but was rather dismayed that EVERY lunch and dinner for the next week was a salad! In December! And you are expected to eat the same for 3 days running? I also tried to omit breakfast as I have the same every day and do not need that planning for me, but that only resulted in all the calories being split between lunch and dinner. No option to adjust amounts of fat, protein and salt, only percentages. (By the way it is the amount of salt that matters, not sodium!). I looked at other meals in the plan and I can honestly say I did not see even one recipe that took my fancy - and I’m a quite adventurous cook and not a fussy eater. Sorry, I want recipes created by real cooks, not an algorithm. So I have immediately taken the option to cancel which, I have to say, was perfectly simple, contrary to the experiences of previous reviewers..Version: 2.48.1

NahUpdate ———————— Thanks for your reply, it feels you are not taking your customers into consideration, why do i have to waste a second to unsubscribe when i didn’t ask for it in the first place? It’s obvious that you have in-app purchases you don’t have to point that out, lol plus I have clearly stated all of the app at my previous review..... why do you ask for my personal details before I sign in with apple( thankfully so that you won’t have my email, facebook or whatever too) Please don’t insult my intelligence, you should remove the personal details bit b4 the apple sign up and the paywall presentation, at least give your customers the option to choose if they want to go ahead with providing their info after they had a look at what your product is about. Not everything is about statistics , good luck ————————————————————————— it's deceptive to ask to sign up to provide a meal plan and then present a price plan, which I don't mind paying, but not after i have provided you with my email and personal details to get to that page...why do you need my personal details to present the pricing? ( paywall) I understand that you need the in-app purchases to possibly survive but you have to respect the customers privacy, luckily you can not use the email I have provided, thanks to apple, and I have unsubscribed from your mailing list which I didn't ask to be included in the first place. Please don't reply, I am deleting the app too.Version: 2.42

Macro calculator not accuratePros: -Easy app to use -lots of variety -friendly to all different types of lifestyles -recipes are easy to make -organized Cons: I think this app could improve on the macro calculator -I don’t find the macro calculator is entirely accurate. If you switch your recipes around, I don’t find the macro calculator picks up the recipe changes; and does it not update the macro numbers accordingly. I have tried to input the recipes on a manual macro calculator, and the results are much lower than what the app shows you. Otherwise, a good app and probably one of the best out there! -the app provides very little information on how to portion the recipe it provides you. I think this app could improve with the portioning of the meals. For those who stay on top of your macros, be sure to double check on another macro calculator!.Version: 2.76

Very Few RecipesNo matter which plan you choose, there are very few recipes. Maybe a dozen for lunch/dinner (same recipes there) and a dozen for breakfast, a dozen for snacks. They say you can add your own recipes, but not really. You can add the name and the nutrients. Far cry from being able to import or truly add your own recipes, which should be a given for meal prep software. You can’t create a true shopping list without custom recipe ingredients. If you could import recipes like most every other recipe or meal planning software out there, then this would be great. It also doesn’t seem to add up increased add on person portions of ingredients. So, I had 6 of us on the same calorie amount and 1 person was 1/8 tsp vanilla extract. 6 people was 1/2 tsp. No, it should be 3/4 tsp for 6 people eating the same calories. Iran into this with every calculation it performed. I thought the update would fix this problem but it didn’t. So you can’t count on this software to give you a correct recipe, correct nutrition, correct shopping list or to let you add your own in for shopping etc. it’s truly bad. The premise is great, but it doesn’t live up to the hype or the hope..Version: 3.0

Not for the BritishHey, After using the app for over a month or so. I’ve concluded that the app is not very British friendly. The wording is hard to follow at times as it seems the target audience is mainly Americans. I have many times bought a product on the shopping list to find out the recipe meant something else (American wording). I also find that when I add up the calories it has more the amount than the recipe states. That’s probably because it based on again the American food sold over there. I’d be careful if you are blindly following the recipes and not checking the calories of the ingredients they suggest. Definitely, make sure you are checking and tweak recipes if need be to match your calorie goals and taste preferences. If I’m being honest, I’ve only found one recipe one there that tastes nice but I’m giving it another go this week my way to see if I can tweak recipes to be within my calorie goal as well as taste nice . Note to developers: “Cornstarch” isn’t easy to find in England. I suggest Cornflour for us Brits.Version: 2.65

Great idea, very easy BUT not accurateThis is an AMAZING idea. Love that meals are preselected and fit your macros. It has saved me a ton of time. However, after tracking these meals in MyFitnessPal, it always puts me 30g of protein under and 10-15g of fat over. I think its due to inter-food variability. For example, am i using Dave’s Killer bread or some other brand? The other issue I wish could be fixed is the ability to import favourite meals from the FitMenCook app. I think its from the same Owner and I’ve used the other app for 2 years now. Have saved a bunch of staples on it which I would love to import easily. Another issue I have with this app is my grocery bill has skyrocketed since using it. I used to eat the same calories/macros with much much more veggies. This app has reduced my veggie intake and greatly increased the amount of meat I eat (reason for increased cost) - which is odd since my protein goal was always met before this app. Some confounding variables i imagine are my partner is trying to gain weight so she’s added as a second person who needs to eat 60% of the meals’ portions leading to more meat consumption. However, she also used to meet her macro goals before the app (probably from protein powders more so than meat)..Version: 2.106

Not suitable for people with multiple allergiesThe meals look interesting but this is not for people who have more than 1 allergy. At first was so excited to see an app that considers peoples allergies, however I have three main allergies and I couldn’t select all of them because they didn’t have enough recipes. but at the same time it’s like I need to select those allergies because… I have those allergies..Version: 2.36

Long time app user/YouTube subscriberThis app needs serious updates. And fast. The amount of food waste on a 2 person plan and these forced 7 day meal prep recipes is absurd. I tried to swap to 3 or 4 and it only shows the macros for the main user.... The breakfast quinoa sausage casserole in particular would not fit in 3 full size casserole dishes, never mind mixing bowls. I chopped vegetables for an hour and somehow the 4lbs of egg whites just didn’t raise any alarms. I didn't even know it was a 7 day recipe until I started cooking and wondered why this disaster was unfolding in front of me. No fault to Chef the food has been amazing all the way through, but the avenue in which it’s being shared/instructed to PAYING subscribers needs to change and fast. I hadn’t noticed this issue before as I only recently activated the two user settings. I can’t begin to express how long/stressful/wasteful a 7 day two user recipe leaves a user/their kitchen. Only a picture could tell the whole story. Won’t be subscribing/watching if this doesn’t change ASAP. This is beyond an oversight reading other reviews so ignoring it does no good for your brand Chef, get on it....Version: 2.4.1

Vegan mealsThis app has the potential to be great, however I feel like it is weighed down by its extremely limited selection of vegan or plant-based options. You basically have to eat the same thing every two weeks. In order for it to be worth the subscription fee I feel like there need to be a bigger and better variety of plant based meals. Please fix this!.Version: 2.90

UnintuitiveIt won’t allow me to actually change the portions. It keeps defaulting to 3 days even after changing it to two. Do not download if you actually want to create a custom meal plan..Version: 2.59

This is another scamish appThey say you will get a reminder before the trial period is done but it’s just not true and you end up paying a full year for an app you dont even want to use. I tried writting to them to get reimburse but they only talk to you about cancelling future subscription (auto-renewal) … what a way to insult people’s intelligence. Not worth the try..Version: 3.69

Not great for plant-based recipesI downloaded this app and accepted the 7 day free trial but cancelled as soon as I saw the lack of good plant-based recipes... Spaghetti Bolognese...... A tempeh sandwich.... Banana and peanut butter on rice cakes.... really? These are really simple things that most people would barely need a recipe for let alone a recipe that is expected to be paid for after 7 days. Overall the concept for this is great but its honestly just not that hard to find much better recipes for free online..Version: 2.20

Not even worth your time if you are on a budgetIs not budget friendly can you bring I a mode where you put in what food do you have instead of overpriced recipes it’s not even worth it you call this budget meal this is middle class not lower class Meals I think I’ll be cancelling my subscription updated at once And also drop the subscription price is a little lower to make it more affordable for the budget kind think outside the box you have the upper class the middle class and the lower class why don’t you base your subscriptions on that and affordability. Then I’ll be listening 👂.Version: 2.61

Locked by a paywallI have not used this app as it is locked behind a paywall, which would be fine if it was stated or advertised that the app is NOT free to use. But, instead, they give the impression that its free and then get you to pay monthly for a meal plan. This seems like a pretty redundant subscription to me since you could just repeat your meal plan for the month every month. It seems like a con and a money making scheme to me..Version: 2.64

Waste of time and moneyI trusted the app, used the shopping list to get the groceries for the first week and: The list was short on ingredients and I only found out when it was time to quickly prepare dinner on the second day. The weekly menu says you should eat the same quinoa with chicken 4 times! And the same goes for other dishes. The portions are crazy! Asks for unusual an expensive ingredients, we spent about a lot more money on groceries that week... it was really bad, but hey, it is my fault for trusting the app....Version: 2.11

Please create partner sharing!I just started using this app with my fiancé to get our eating on track for our goals. I like that it selects recipes and that you can swap what you don’t like, and it keeps track of what you’ve consumed. But there’s a couple major kinks to this: 1- It doesn’t provide portion sizes for the two people in a functional way. Stating my partner eats 65% while I eat 35% requires a lot of extra work to determine how many ounces or servings I should be consuming. 2- We can’t both have our tracked plans on the same account and be synced across two devices with the same info. Even being logged into the same account on two devices doesn’t provide the exact same meals etc without significant manual swapping. We both want to be on track and eat the same things (but different portions) and know we are consuming what we need to to meet our goals. Partner sharing or partner syncing should definitely be in the set of fixes!.Version: 2.1

I’m sure it’d be great...... if I could get past the subscription page! Seriously, I realise that you’re probably tweaking your stuff in the run up to the January “New Year, New Me” boost in sales, but I can’t even access your app. Both the options give me an error message saying “missing subscription product” and both say “not currently available”. Until you fix this, it’s useless. So disappointed!.Version: 1.2.0

Food Allergies and IntolerancesI absolutely loved the look of this app and after reading the positive reviews I was ready to purchase my subscription. I then realised that a lot of the breakfast examples contain eggs. I have a food allergy/intolerance to egg and would be unable to eat any of these meals. A suggestion for a food allergy question, as listed on some other apps would be welcomed. I won’t be purchasing my subscription just yet, but hope to be able to in the future..Version: 2.4

Not bad so far, some downsidesI’m still in my trial week and am not 100% sold on purchasing this app yet. Mainly because of the following: 1. When customizing meals (I.e. swapping out certain days for new choices rather than having the same meal all week), it appears the grocery list isn’t updating automatically. As a result it was a pain to go back in and correct my shopping list once I noticed. 2. In the spirit of not eating the same meal each day/night, I was expecting the app to present “swap” meal options that would be comparable in carbs / macros to the original meal; however It appears this isn’t happening so I can’t tell how much I’m going over / under unless I manually calculate it. 3. I don’t see where my macros goals / actual numbers live - it would be helpful to have a meal plan tailored to my macros goals and only see food options / swap out options that fit within my daily macros. 4. I don’t see a dairy free preference option and a lot of the recipes have dairy (I’m dairy intolerant). I do like that you can add your own recipe; however you have to manually enter in the macro info. I find myself having to cross reference other apps that do have this info I order to actually enter it into this one. I like the overall concept of this app but not certain it’s worth the money just yet..Version: 1.10.1

Waste of timeYou have to give all your information, make an account, then at the very end find out you have to pay for a subscription $70 a year. Very annoying design trend that’s popular nowadays. Tell me up front next time bro.Version: 3.6

Implement more instructional videos please! This app would be great if it had more instructional videos showing the process of the cooking. It’s kinda hard for me to follow the written steps, it gets confusing at some points and the wording trips me up. If the app is going to have a “cooking mode” and the cooking mode barely has any videos to it, I feel like it should at least be more thorough with the steps and instructions. I feel it would be easier if I’m able to follow the video as I go by, most of the recipes recommended to me for my diet don’t even have a instructional video for me to follow and it’s pretty frustrating. Its no use in me searching the name of the recipe online to see if I can get any videos on it because they use different ingredients than what the app is telling you to use. I have one question though, for the recipes that are “meal prep.” In the ingredients section do they show the ingredients to make enough for one serving? So if you’re meal prepping the “5-ingredient Salmon Teriyaki” and it says meal prep for 4 days this week, the 2.3 Ib of salmon fillet would only reflect for one serving for that one day? So you’d have to make it again 3 times for the rest of the days and at the start of each time you making it you use the same 2.3 Ib of salmon right?.Version: 2.7

Can’t use app for free, collects info before handPity that I cannot use this app for free and that you didn’t let me know, but what makes it worst is the fact that I had to create and account, share my info about my health and age, and then only got told that you have to subscribe to use the app. Not good at all, they take your info to sell to marketers and then tell you that you must pay..Version: 2.48.1

The calories are way off. This will make you gain weight.I was looking for an app that would simplify tracking meal planning and tracking my macros. I’m currently using a dedicated cooking app along with LoseIt for tracking. I first tried this app for the one week free trial period but I was not able to use it that much. However, the user interface was good and some of the recipes looked okay. So, I signed up for the monthly subscription. First recipe I tried was the Chicken Thigh Tagine with Cauliflower Rice. I followed the recipe down to details. The app stated the recipe would only be 525 calories per serving. But when I calculated everything that went in to the recipe it’s actually 918 calories per serving. This is almost double the amount! If you’re using this app for calorie counting and making sure you hit your macros just right, think again. That’s too bad because the app had really good UI. I guess I’ll just stick with LoseIt for meal planning and using a real dedicated recipe app like NYTimes cooking to make sure I get things right. Felt like I wasted $5.99 for this..Version: 2.33

Not a lot of choices, portions too bigI am on this app to gain muscle, and i honestly feel like the portions are ridiculous. I did find it weird that every single recipe had around the same amount of calories and protein. I found it especially weird when i saw that scrambled eggs and bread had almost 700 calories, thats when i realized i would have to stuff my face with 3 slices of bread with 4 scrambled eggs. Why is the protein intake so high??? i only weight 120lbs and its recommending me to eat 150 grams of protein, which is the lowest option on the app. Another thing, the food choices. I was on the flexible meal plan and It is either american asian food, or caucasian food (idk what to call that). I am hispanic and i would love to see more culturally diverse foods. Hispanic doesn’t automatically mean mexican tho. I did like that there were tostones but that was the only food i was familiar with. Looking at the choices feels overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time..Version: 2.104

In theory it’s good but...In theory it’s good but there are a few major issues. It doesn’t let you pick the day of the week you are prepping for just how many days you are prepping. For instance I do 5:2 fasting so I only want to prep for M/W/F. If I pick three meals it will assume I’m doing these days in a row and load then up on the calendar. Also I wish you could pick a few diets to choose from. It love for it to mix in Mediterranean and Pescatarian meals. Unfortunately is you choose Pescatarian for let’s say three days of meal prep you are eating fish for two meals a day for three days! Only breakfast has a non fish option. Even the swaps all contain seafood. Seafood is healthy but not in those quantities!.Version: 2.48.1

HELP!AFTER I clicked on this (didn’t see price, thought it free) I received a message, “purchasing.” ????? I didn’t agree to pay anything. ?????? BEWARE! I don’t even know where they would have talent the money from!.Version: 2.18.2

No way of adding my own recipes.I was looking for a menu planner that would work with my Google Calendar. I enjoy my own recipes..Version: 2.58

Signed up for 7 day trialApp treats you like you’ve already prepped with your meals ready on day one. Doesn’t ramp up to your first week but wastes your first week assuming the food is already done. Should have started with a shopping list for week one and had you begin prepping on day two after confirming or buying what’s needed. Not very helpful for those new to cooking..Version: 2.93

Good premise, recipes really need tweakingThere are things that I like about this app, and some major issues. 1 - Great for planning what you want for the week. 2 - If you plan the same meal for several days, it gives you the preparation and ingredient list for doing it all at once so that you are preparing & cooking for multiple days all at once, EVEN IF the recipe is not going to be good the second day (example - smoothies, avocado meals, salads, etc). This is not good as you waste food and time. 3 - It is very difficult to get the app to give you only one days portions for the recipe. 4 - The recipes have not been taste tested. One recipe that I followed precisely called for so much mustard that the dish was inedible, and it had called for a number of very expensive ingredients. Other recipes are severely missing in spices (things like garlic for example) to the point of being tasteless. It’s one extreme to the other. 5 - To figure out what quantity to eat each meal, you have to weigh the total, divide it by how many meals you are supposed to get, and then multiply that by how much of a percentage each person gets to find the weight to feed each person at each meal. This is onerous and difficult and easy to mix up. The recipes should be able to say how much each person eats. 6 - Most of the recipes call for a lot of exotic ingredients that are very expensive. This is not set up for the average household, but the very wealthy. 7 - Cooking times for all recipes are wrong. Raw salmon (cooked 20 mins longer than the recipe stated and it was still raw) with vegetables is not appetizing nor safe to eat. I accidentally subscribed for a month after the trial period but will not be doing so again. There are too many pitfalls with this plan. I do not recommend it..Version: 2.14

Good but some glitchesI’m really enjoying the app but as I like to plan my meals say 2 weeks in advance, the app sometimes glitches and deletes the plan. This is really annoying as I then have to redo the plan, especially if I’ve already purchased the groceries. Also, is there any way it could be synced between two devices? A phone and an iPad?.Version: 2.49.1

Macro needsThis app lack the ability to ask for our macro needs (example : 170g protein per day) lnstead we are limited to percentage..Version: 3.39

Needs workI’ve been using the app for almost 2 weeks and I like it for the most part but it does need work. I don’t know if it’s just my phone but when I swap out recipes it doesn’t update to my grocery list so that makes the grocery shopping difficult. Also some of the items are very hard to find like “arrowroot starch” for example. I’m from a small town so that was impossible to find. The prep times are also far from accurate. Me and my husbands goals are to GAIN so it DOES NOT take “5 min” to prep 1 meal for 4 days where you have to trim fat off of 8 lbs of chicken, chop 17 bell peppers, cut 2 lbs of green beans down the middle and when the recipe is so big it doesn’t fit in the oven so you have to make it in lots of big batches so it takes forever. Also one last thing, like is said maybe it’s my phone but there is no decimal point on the number pad. When I’m trying to portion out our meals I have to go to my notes, write out the number, copy and paste it to the number pad..Version: 2.4

Worthless crap app full of in app purchasesI didn’t recommend this app full of in app purchases and subscriptions worthless and developer didn’t care about the app working. Pro subscription is crazy costly. Money is not everything developer 👎👎👎👎👎.Version: 3.15
