Not worth the priceI get more recipes of his off Facebook. This app is never updated. The recipe selection stays the same. 1. He need to put each Facebook recipe on here. 2. His weekly meal prep tab should actually have different weekly meal preps suggested by him and they rotate. This tab is a joke: it's up to the customer to put meals into the plan. Well duh!!! I can do that myself without the fancy tab. HE needs to put weekly meal plans together for us, and change them each week..Version: 4.2

Calories to change if recipe is edited pleaseIt's a great app! Sometimes I don't have a specified ingredient and when I untick the ingredient the calorie count is unchanged. Please incorporate this option!.Version: 4.1.1

Great App - not as helpful as you thinkGood recipes, helpful. Needs to be able to link with myfitnesspal and not all the recipes display macros. So that's extremely annoying. You'd think better if you didn't pay £2.29 for it. A lot of work yet to be done. I do somewhat regret my purchase but I'll stick it out as elements are helpful..Version: 2.0.1

ExtortionApp is a great start (tease?) in many ways. And I can admire an entrepreneur. But charging users who have already purchased the app an ADDITIONAL monthly fee for critical basic functionality (editing meal plans) is extortion and a major FU to paying users. Set meal plans have a limit of a mere 6 recipes (that's right, SIX recipes between 6 meals a day for 6-8 weeks - you'd get more menu options eating in prison). Editing or adding to these recipients requires the "pro" edition. Also - "servings" indications between prep meal recipes, actual meals and elsewhere is totally unintuitive, confusing and in some cases contradictory. App good but not that good that I'd sign up to funnel additional monthly fee into this black hole. But since they've already paid for it I'm sure many guys throw good money after bad to unlock the basic functionality of "pro" addition. Guy who has his bicep-fluffing pose all over the app: his SE grin looks like he's got that all figured out....Version: 4.1

Untested, incomplete recipesThe recipes in this app have clearly not been tested, nor edited. I have professional kitchen experience, and there are many instances of instructions are at best misleading, at worst incorrect. For example, you can’t caramelize an onion in one minute, it takes about 15 minutes. And this is not me nitpicking, this is just one of many examples. Another example is ingredients simply going missing, like for example the chicken thighs in “chicken with couscous”. They make an appearance at the beginning of the recipe, then completely disappear. There are some great recipe ideas in this app but it needs a proper proofreading before its of any value..Version: 5.4

Good but needs some tweakingI like the app and the majority of the recipes however the fact that some recipes don’t have their own dedicated video and that the recipes aren’t so user friendly, in regards to the conversion of measurements, I give this app a solid3/5.Version: 4.7.1

Making me pay for a new feature when I already bought the app??This is a good app and has lots of good food in it and with the new update that added a meal planner to make things even easier I though YEW!! That's awesome then when I tried doing it I can only add 6 meals for the entire week before it wants me to pay a monthly fee to add more!! That's bull I already bought the app now they do this. Who only eats 6 meals in the entire week. Step up your game guys if this was fixed would be 5 stars.Version: 2.0

Additional purchase required even after subscriptionI used to enjoy this app a lot. However now many recipes require the app developer’s own spices set, which sells for 37 USD (for a pack of six spices.).Version: 5.13

Not worth the moneyNot worth the money, couldn't get a refund so writing a review. all the recipes can be found online FOR FREE! recipes don't get added fast enough and if your serious about body building you will get tired of the meals very quickly, as it doesn't give you much variety. 3-4 different meals are added monthly and by the first week you will be bored of them..Version: 4.1

Wrong recipesFirst recipe I looked at, low carb, with 5 tbsp sugar... next one veggie spaghetti, 3rd ingredient ground beef....Version: 5.21

Ok but not great for the UKHas a lot of ingredients that maybe really easy to buy anywhere in the U.S. but no readily available in the UK without having to do a muscle food order. Also a lot of Mexican foods which I don’t really think is a realistic breakfast option. A lot of the other features are really good..Version: 4.8

Needs improvementIt would be a great app if some features were implemented: Personalised meal plans currently only produce one set of recipes. It would be awesome if there were many alternatives to choose from. This is a feature used in other programs, it’s really odd that it hasn’t been implemented already. Country specific food options. I live in Australia so I really have no access to turkey as a cheap protein option. Again this is only an issue with the personalised meal plans being so limited. I’d really like to be able to swap out a recipe for one that is more accessible. The way it is now, I have to select a recipe to find out the macros I’ll have to replace with another recipe manually. What’s more is I have to do all the calculations myself (it only shows 1 servings nutritional value). I tried the contact page on the website, and after I finished writing, the website would not complete the send action. I’m hungry as ever and now I’m writing this instead of eating because the app is unfinished in my eyes. Forgive my cynicism for I am famished..Version: 5.4

Good for getting ideasThis app WAS good for getting recipe ideas which I would then freestyle with in the kitchen and put my own spin on. Recently though, it keeps crashing and I have to delete/reinstall the app to get it to work. On an iPhone 6 - it's really annoying. No other app I use does this. I'm giving one last chance before I delete it again and don't bother..Version: 2.0.1

What about the money I paid a few years ago?I was an original supporter of FMC back when it was coming up. I PAID for the original pro version of the app before there was a subscription plan, to get the features. I even jumped on the MPP app because I liked what you had to offer. But I noticed I wasn’t using the MPP app as much as I wanted to because of life. I went back to using the original FMC app for recipes but noticed that now I have to pay a subscription? I don’t think this is fair to people who have supported you from the start. You should “grandfather” original supporters like me who already paid for the features in your app. I want to give you guys 5 stars, but honestly this just feels like a cashgrab and I’m insulted..Version: 5.12

Overall ok- if you don't mind paying the monthly fees after original purchaseThe app is well designed and runs smoothly, you pay to purchase the app $5 and then to get the full features of the app you have to sign up to pay monthly or annual fee. Bit of a joke to pay and then have to pay again every month..Version: 3.2.1

Really good app until you find out the micro transaction flaw...This app is great. Has everything in one convenient spot and allows you to plan and prep food with ease. However having already paid a set price for the app I'm really disappointed to find out that to be able to use a 7 day functionality of meal prepping I have to pay a monthly membership price to upgrade to the pro version... Well what's the point in having a set price for the app if you're then going to basically tell me I haven't bought the full version. I wouldn't go into a gym to pay the membership price then be told you can't use that piece of equipment unless you pay for the pro membership. Like I said all was going well until the micro transaction trap hits you. I'll continue to enjoy the app but still feel let down..Version: 4.3

Good app but needs workLike the app but when setting up a meal plan, I wish there was an option to choose veggie/vegan meals.Version: 5.27

Vegetarian meal plans?!I’m a vegetarian and want to gain muscle mass. When I try to set a meal plan there’s no option for a Vegetarian meal plan. Very disappointing. Wasted $6..Version: 4.10

Unreliable recipesThere are many recipes that seem to not be tested. A lot of missing information during the steps too. A few are good but some will not lead you to a satisfying result. I would rather has an app with fewer recipes but every one of them is tested rather than one that include lots of them but not tested..Version: 5.58

Recipes are different onlineIt's a good app when the recipes match. However, when the recipes are different on the app and I have to check online anyways it makes the app pointless. Case in point... slow cooker turkey cilantro chili. Calls for only 1 can of beans in app but 2 cans online. That's not cool. So now I don't feel like I can trust the app at all and have to look online anyways. Also, some recipes in the app have what looks like a generic banner saying you can use a rice cooker or slow cooker. That's not the case. They cook differently and won't work the same for different recipes. However, the app doesn't include different instructions based on what you're using. The shopping cart is nice. You can add ingredients right to the list and it's well organized. The meal prep tab is stupid. You can only make a meal prep schedule for one day unless you feel like paying more. Feels a little cheap with that. Still a good app, just needs some fine tuning..Version: 4.3.1

MehSome good recipes in there but I hope more will be added. A few with hard to find ingredients and lack of metric is annoying..Version: 1.0.0

Not user friendly!!!This app would get a FIVE STAR if it made the necessary adjustments to its Meal Plan. First off, the Meal Plan feature is TERRIBLE!!! It has three features: Use Calorie Calculator, New Blank Plan, and Pick Your Calories. If you use either Calorie Calculator or Pick Your Calorie. When you’ve input the information you’re give a meal plan that YOU CAN NOT ADJUST!!! You’re stuck with what you’re given. I have to delete whatever meal they gave me. Look for another meal out of HUNDREDS. Which I CAN’T filter. Therefore leaves me with the only alternative to not just go off whatever I feel like making or just use another app. The New Blank is worse!!! It’s the same thing. Only difference I have to manually choose out of the HUNDREDS of meals my whole week. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus snacks. Bro this is time consuming. I’m already busy throughout the day. The last thing I want is to manually pick my meals out of a large meal book. Let alone not be able to adjust a created one. Until they fix that feature it gets TWO STARS. This could easily be a FIVE STAR app. FIX ASAP!!!.Version: 5.61

Shopping ListI love the shopping list feature; but it's showing me items such as 12 eggs & 13 egg whites. I have to go back through the recipes and make sure I need 25 eggs and not just the 13 eggs. Also showing things like 3 tbsp of coconut sugar then further down the list showing 1 tbsp of coconut sugar. It would be good if this was a totalled figure.Version: 4.0

IPhone X?Where is iPhone X compatibility?.Version: 4.4.1

METRIC!Recipes are pretty good, but you REALLY need metric measurements in here. The world is bigger than the U.S. believe it or not ;).Version: 1.0.0

Meal Plans seem pointless if you have dietary restrictionsI was super excited to try this app. I’ve tried a few recipes in the past which have been excellent but this time I wanted to do the meal plans with a new training routine I’ve been given. Unfortunately you can just simple add a filter that would make all the meals in the meal plan vegan. Oh no, instead you get what you’re given then have to go through the whole plan and replace any meals that aren’t suitable. I actually purchase pro because I thought I’d have this ability as it was advertised as being able to edit and customise the plan. This wasn’t the case of course..Version: 5.48

I was going to subscribeBut it didn't let me and you only get one shot at getting my money, apart from that the app looks okay....Version: 4.10

You pay for the app but have to pay monthly to use full featuresI don’t understand what the point is of charging for an app if you’re going to lock features behind a monthly paywall. That is edging on predatory behaviour and is just plain scummy. The recipes are all available on the website for free so the app is basically useless..Version: 5.22

Poor app design. Average recipesThe app does not give you the ability to render videos at a lower quality. So unless you have a very high speed Internet, you can not watch any of the videos. I found the recipes to be not that impressive..Version: 5.4
