✓ Why no landscape view?I like this game, but it’s annoying that it can only be played in portrait view AND only with the home button at the bottom so you can’t charge an iPad very easily while playing. ✓ Just one issueI really enjoy this game, but I have an issue. Under daily quests, trying to find so many amazing combos… My amazing combos don’t register. I’ve been keeping track, and it still sits at zero despite how many I get. I can play all day long and get 27 Amazing combos, and none of them are added to the quest. Every other type of combo works. If it’s a glitch, can you please fix it. It’s kind of frustrating to have a quest that doesn’t work. ✓ Latest update not good...I love your game. Been playing it for years but that last update makes it slower and it freezes mid-word. Very unpleasant. My advice is: LESS animation is GOOD! This is not supposed to be an action game but a relaxing brainy activity. Maybe put a little explanation box for the daily challenge. Not everyone gets that the flowers are the actual goal. ✓ I Love this game ButSo I will start out by saying I love this game and I’m totally addicted. I’m 500 levels in so I’ll give you my full opinion. There is an ad after every round which was annoying at first when the rounds are really easy, but they get a little harder and take a little longer to complete so the adds stopped bothering me pretty quickly. I don’t understand the scoring on the Butterfly card rounds... which is a bit annoying because I think I could complete the harder levels easier if I understood how you can get more than one butterfly at a time instead of it just seeming random. Some of the words are a little out there but I love the dictionary feature. So as soon as I guess a word that I don’t know what it means I can click the Aa button and it tells you the definition. I like that because word games are supposed to help you expand your vocabulary. The biggest thing that still irritates me about the game though is that when I saw the add for the game while playing another game, the word puzzle in the add is nowhere to be found in the actual game. Which is kind of messed up on advertising’s side. Like come on.... Overall... I am addicted and I do like the game..Version: 2.7.0(1)

First I am not very good at spelling so this helps me learn by making combinations. If you are not confident with spelling and that puts you off don’t let it it is also great to play with friends, Family and partners. Second It is a lot of fun! If you can't guess the word, hints are available, but just take a breather. You may find what you need after a short break. Use the crossword itself as you fill it in for clues too. I haven't spent money on clues, have just been rewarded them. You can play bonus levels just for that too or to become more familiar with the game. You might have come across a word in a new level already if you've already done it in a bonus round. I did spend money to remove ads, all at once. ✓ Finally a challenging word gameYes, the ads are annoying (though being able to avoid them by not agreeing to watch an ad to double your score is a plus), and it did take MANY levels to start getting unusual (but valid) words. However, this is the only word game I have found that really challenges "wordies" in each of its games [Daily challenge, regular game, and Butterfly levels]. Kudos to the developers for a game that not only looks appealing but really does require thought, knowledge, and strategy. I deducted one star because the cost of removing ads is too high. I would willingly pay$2 or $3 for that chance, but not $5. Update: ads are out of control! One at the end of every game! And now there doesn't seem to be a way of removing them..Version: 2.8.1
✓ Quite rivetingI’ve gone through to 900 and something. It definitely gets harder and from time to time I resort to google. When I do that, having quite convinced myself that there is no such word, the simplest of answer resolves my frustration. Having said that, the game is very fair and I haven’t yet struck a level that didn’t make sense. It’s very clever in that it’ll lead you to a family of woods and then one comes from left field and my small brain freezes. A real challenge no mater what the critics say. I’ve a vocab that competes with most and it suits me fine. Not in the least boring but you need to pace yourself. Well designed and executed. Thanks. Afterthought..... there are some puzzles that have a wrong word or one that the official hint pages don’t contain. To mention this to the developer you need to provide your email address. ✓ Just got betterOk, so I’m currently lvl 586 and haven’t written a review for this game until today. They just added a dictionary button on the screen to define mysterious words that you may have guessed on or maybe use it as a refresher to keep your mind sharp. I’m so glad they added it, it even does words In the pool that are legit but don’t make it on the board. Thank you for not being an ad dependable app. Also, the changing background is awesome after playing so many levels at a time. I have two permanent games on my phone for over two years and this is one of them. Thank you devs for not overthinking it. The only I don’t like is the crappy wheel of fortune thing for a bonus. Can you change it up a little or improve upon it? I suggest being able to win a point a puzzle to be able to spin in more than once, make the speed a bit more realistic on the wheel or pick from cards and get a bonus..Version: 2.6.4
✓ Wonderful time competing against hubby 💖I love everything most puzzles! And this game is one of them even when my first language is not English. I LOVE this game! My husband and I compete against each other every night usually playing 3, 5 or 10 games (depending on time available). The ads? They don’t bother me because the game is free! It is very easy for us to wait 5 or 8 seconds to terminate an ad and continue with the next game. I have found that they don’t include some words like God! That is puzzling for me but... oh well! I move on. It is a very entertaining and addictive game specially if you compete against others at the same level. One suggestion: PLEASE release a Spanish version of the game!!!! ✓ Good Start, Needs ImprovementOverall I enjoy the game, but there are a few sore spots that need to be addressed; primarily with the words that it accepts/ does not accept. Depending on the level, the same word will or will not be accepted as an answer. If its acceptable on one level I should be able to input it on another level, even if its only as a bonus word. The issue gets compounded when putting in a word that is not accepted breaks your combo! How can I know ahead of time that the word wont work for that level and avoid losing the points? I frequently guess correctly spelled english words that simply aren’t allowed on that level and then later its a required word, where is the consistency? Why can I put in ‘Mauls’ but not ‘Maul’ in the same level? Just update the word banks and make any words that are real, but not required for the level, as bonus words so it wont break my combo score. Also, it would be nice if we could check what bonus words we’ve already gotten for the level. So like I said, fun but needs some work to be less frustrating.Version: 2.1.9

✓ Enjoy with a couple of suggestionsI love the game and play almost every day. I usually finish and then go back to play previous games. It would be nice to easily access them without having to scroll down over and over. When you tap on the level list to the left of the screen, you see all the levels but cannot pull them up. It would be really great if you could do that, as it would make it much easier to keep playing. The newest update is filled with lovely colors which makes it a beautiful app. With the newest update, the circles that cover each letter are a bit large. I make more mistakes now because they get overlapped and interconnected. At least on a phone screen where you don’t have a lot of room. Maybe make them a little smaller? ✓ Preferred the previous updateThis update I do not like. It’s like the reversed in progress because normally updates are better but this one is like they went back like 10 steps. I can say I have noticed less ads. The music was so relaxing and now it’s a little more upbeat. The music is a large portion as to why played the game and now I really don’t care for it. They had spa like music, but like I said it’s a little more upbeat than usual. The app is so extra now. I like cut to the paste and now it does extra stuff when you found a word, they changed the whole layout, as I said I preferred the other layout way better- like the overall layout. At the end of the game when you could easily press X they make you wait for the flower to fully circle around and it is frustrating. Basically I played the game for relaxing purposes and now it doesn’t even do that anymore because they put in special effects which delays time has annoyed me. ✓ It’s changed its dictionaryThis is perhaps my fave crossword game - it’s fast and fun. It’s been updated and now comes with a dictionary by Wordnik, which is incredibly useful and educational - but beware: it means that some words that Word Crossy used to recognise it no longer does. For instance, previously both the UK litre and the US liter were accepted: now only liter is. I haven’t come across colour/colour or favour/favor yet, so I don’t know if it’s now universally US spellings only. Still some blind spots too. Axles is accepted, but axled isn’t. And when is ‘eft’ going to be recognised? Baby newts have their rights too!.Version: 2.6.4

✓ Coping SkillsI really feel like this game calms you down and it’s really relaxing especially when you have anxiety. Many viewers cope with this game and made it really far into the levels, that’s because they feel calm and collected. They wouldn’t even notice that they have gone to like level 45 to 4,080. That’s because it’s beautiful backgrounds and music is very soothing and relaxing, my family loves it. My Gram loves it and got me hooked. Personally I think this is true because I just started today about 5 minutes ago and I’m already on level 30. You may have other opinions but I’m sure many people feel this way. One bad point aside from it not taking words that aren't on the crossword as bonus words like it should. However, I downloaded this game over a year ago and still have and love it! 🥰It’s very easy to maneuver the map, very simple and easy to play, yet there’s enough of a challenge in finding words, that it’s not boring. I also love how, after you find a work, you can touch the word in the puzzle and it will give you the definition for that word! (Because there are several words that I find and think “no way that’s a word!” haha) I’ve never had any issues with losing coins unnecessarily, game crashing, etc! ✓ Facebook loginGame is good, very different to the word games I’ve been playing as it shows you moving along with the levels, The only issue is that you have to log in to Facebook every time you open the app, it’s time consuming and lets the game down a little, I hope you can get this sorted out thank you.Version: 2.1.9

✓ Word Crossy! My Review!I only have one other buddy playing this and she's using sneaky tactics! Lol 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣Please join up and save me! It hasn't cost me a penny! My mum and me play it together and have a right laugh! Word Crossy is addictive, challenging at times but enjoyable all the time! It's great mix of the original crossword and wordsearch! Whole family can play and you need not spend a chocolate button! Lol! However!!!! It is so unfair that you work hard to get the coins but you can only ever get 100 a DAY! The rest fall to the floor! It's the only but big offputting part of the game! Because in a fortnight I'm pasr level 700 n something but the rewards are making me change my mind! I am a bedbound woman who has nothing to do but play these games and I've even maxed out my credit card! I think the gaming companies should have free play for those whose only escape is playing games! I mean I'd have been better gambling than play those games now but I'm in dire straits! They make millions and those who are already struggling on benefits are getting into debt just trying to make life just that much more less survivable! ✓ Excellent gameThe content is great as well as the limited time challenges. Want to report an issue with the time challenge called Tile Crusher liked the update that made it more relaxed than pressured ;). There is an issue with Tile Crusher. After having it open, if you go back to the main levels the heart/lives timer in Tile Crusher, it seems to pause until you go back to Tile Crusher and wait for lives. It sometimes reloads fully, but not all of the time. The timer loops. It will show 0 lives then it cycles through 30 minutes to still show 0 lives if not on Tile Crusher ( only happens for Tile Crusher).Version: 3.1.2

✓ Good game. Addictive!Really enjoying this game! Though I think if the game is going to accept a word as a word, it needs to be consistent throughout the puzzles. Some words are accepted in some puzzles and not others, meaning that you loose your points streak. Frustrating. Also, this new update has taken away the ability to try words before submitting them... if you even tap a letter now, you loose your streak, which I do not like..Version: 2.2.4
✓ Could Be SLIGHTLY better...I love Word Crossy: it is very addictive and I just can’t stop playing! The only tiny issue is that there could be more ways of earning coins or maybe earning more coins. ✓ Needs improvementI’m on level 2994 & I have encountered a thing or 2 or 3... Firstly, I’ve never once hit the 1000 coin mark on the bonus wheel and only twice (as of today) hit the 100 coin mark; the other prizes are minimal game tools. Secondly, when reaching extra word bonus points where an option to watch a video for double the coins (50 vs 25) about half the time, the screen goes blank and I don’t get my 50 coins or even the 25 which is automatic - or suppose to be. Lastly, valid words in the English dictionary are rejected too often for my taste. For example, the words ‘listen’, ‘enlist’ & other practical words were recently rejected in my game. The app is updated automatically and my connection is great so it isn’t me. Otherwise, it’s a great app. I will continue to play regardless because I enjoy it as a pastime. It’s a little better than the others I’ve tried. The best aspect of this app, to me, is the weekly tournament. Love those!.Version: 2.7.3
