Lux Light Meter Pro for Negative User Reviews

RubbishNeither norm nor pro work, I worked in the lighting industry and needed a measurement quick. Purchased the pro version hoping it would work, didn’t. Utter disappointment.Version: 2.0

Avoid!I bought this and now I wish I hadn’t! It intermittently works and even then the readings on my iPhone 12 Pro are way too low for the very bright rooms I tested in. Needs a desperate update or take this app down!.Version: 2.1.1

I hate thisThere are no instructions anywhere on how to use it so I have no idea how it even works. Right now I’m in my living room with a few lights in and it’s saying 0, which is impossible. I don’t understand the max and the average and the number in the middle and what they are all supposed to mean. I’m deleting it from my phone and I wasted 13$.Version: 2.1.1

JunkJunk ware don’t bother. Does nothing, looks like a fake app..Version: 2.1.1

Does absolutely nothingFor some reason as soon as I downloaded this app in my phone I got a prompt asking me to sign into my google account. While I was deleting the app I got another prompt asking me to sign in to google again. I don’t know what that was all about. But anyways this app is a joke. When you press the “sun” button or hold the button it doesn’t give any readings. Waste of time..Version: 2.0

Nothing happensStuck on 0. Perhaps because I said no to notifications? Or am I being conspiratorial.Version: 2.0

Doesn’t workReadings are completely off, spend the money and get an actual proper par meter.Version: 2.1.1

Don’t waste your money. Worst app everGot this a few days ago and it seemed to work fairly decent. Using it to compare lighting in different areas. Went ahead and paid for the pro version. Next day it will not work. Does absolutely nothing. Checked it off and on for the past couple of days and it still does nothing or at best gives some ludicrous reading then freezes up. Went to the feedback area in the app where it says u can contact them several times. Getting a message ‘trying to connect thank you for your patience’. Never connects. I guess I’m not THAT patient. Deleting this trashy worthless app from my iPhone X. I’ll never pay for the upgrade again until I use it several days with success..Version: 2.0

Very disappointedIt only gives a light reading if pointed directly at a light source. Otherwise it gives a 0 when light is clearly present. This makes it worthless as a light measurement tool. I have the camera properly selected. I checked Help but there is nothing in help … literally that section is empty … I regret paying for this..Version: 2.1.1

TerribleAs soon as I paid for pro, it stopped working..Version: 2.0

TrashDoesn’t work.Version: 2.1.1

SCAM - DOES NOT WORKThe app doesn’t work. Scam. Don’t waste your money..Version: 2.1.1

Bad appThis is useless. Does not work properly. Wasted my money..Version: 2.1.1

It’s badIt’s bad.Version: 2.0

SuspectDownloaded and shortly deleted. Seems you have to pay even to try. I don't mind spending a few bucks for a forever subscription for a good app, but not one untested by me..Version: 2.1.1

Waste of moneyThe app does not work at all. Can’t switch cameras. Readings are way off.Version: 2.1.1

Totally uselessNo instructions, not intuitive, annoying ads for free use.... what is the point of the app.....Version: 2.1.1

Inaccurate and useless , 👎🏽No good ,Inaccurate and useless , gimmick at best . Even on a fixed platform , dark out enclave it five vastly different readings 👎🏽.Version: 2.0

This light meter is uselessWhen I compared this app with a Lux meter is was out by 250 lux under which makes it useless and not worth buying.Version: 2.0

Very shady way to get your money. Don’t downloadApp works ok but the way they make you think that you are getting to try it is shady. Use a free app. Not worth it..Version: 2.1.1

Difficult to useIt should just turn on after being download it but it doesn’t and I don’t see an easy way to just tap anything that’s there andI don’t do well with difficult applications I just delete them if you want people to keep your stuff it should be easy to.Version: 2.1.1

Not free not goodWaste of time and money.Version: 2.1.1

NopeThe app is free but doesn’t work unless you pay for it. Not deceptive at all..Version: 2.1.1

Front and back cameras give widely different valuesYou say it’s professionally calibrated but when I tested it with identical light levels the front camera said 400 lux and the back camera said 1000 lux. One of those obviously is incorrect but I can’t tell which, which makes the app a bit useless..Version: 2.0

Used to be free but now subscription!Used this many times on old phone but have just tried downloading onto replacement phone and it now needs a monthly or one off payment. Will be looking elsewhere.Version: 2.1.1

Rubbish appThe app doesn’t even work it is useless.Version: 2.1.1

Don’t workDoesn’t do anything once opened.Version: 2.1.1

Absolutely the worst app , not even a maybeThanks.Version: 2.1.1

Rating System needs improvementI have only used the app once for one location and I am forced to rate it okay if you want to play that silly game well then you deserve a 3 of out 5..Version: 2.1.1

Don’t buy this - it doesn’t work & no customer support. What a huge disappointment. This doesn’t work. I foolishly paid for the pro and it literally stopped working after two days. And then there is no customer support. This app has successfully blocked all human interaction. They will only take your money.Version: 2.1.1

InaccurateIt just doesn’t work. It is very in accurate and under lower light conditions doesn’t register anything at all. Also, there are no instructions, and if you click on help you get an error message..Version: 2.1.1

Accuracy: questionablePointed my iPhone SE using this app at a LCD TV (not a HDR TV) nearly 3 metres away in a well lit room in the evening. At one consistent location the app measured 142,912 Lux. Keep in mind that 100,000 is the approximate Lux value of direct sunlight..Version: 2.0

PaymentWould have been nice to know you had to pay after 3 days before loading it. I deleted it before using it..Version: 2.1.1

Doesn’t workI regrettably purchased the ‘pro’ version of this app for quick (and rough) measurements, but it doesn’t work at all. I would like a full refund ASAP as this does not do what it claims to do - not even badly.Version: 2.0

Doesn’t seem to work with iPhone 12..amongst other problemsDownloaded this to see if it was worth getting the pro version. The ads at the bottom prevent clicking on the bottom menu. The UI doesn’t seem to make sense to me. I don’t see speed, aperture, or ISO anywhere. Just FC and LUX. In fact I wonder if this is even a light meter for photography. If not, then my apologies for the poor rating. If you’re looking for a working light meter...I don’t think this is for you..Version: 2.0

Paid apps should be required to list the price before installYes, technically the app is “free”. The app opens to tell you in order to continue you must either purchase a monthly subscription or pay for the app upfront. I don’t have a problem paying for apps, but if you’re going to charge for it then just put the price on it and don’t pull the sketchy stuff were you say it’s “free” and then the app literally does nothing except take your money before you can do anything..Version: 2.1.1

You’re downloading an adYou’re downloading advertising for their pro version. The app version of click bait. Deceiving and will not buy this app even if I have to purchase an light metering app.Version: 2.0

Questionable accuracy, security issue?Seems to give widely varying readings in same light settings. The thing that worries me most is that it captures clipboard contents on load. Why is it doing that? If you use a password manager and have pw copied for something else then open this app it loads your pw..Version: 2.0

TerribleMy teacher sent me to rtl because I was messing around and kept on getting the wrong amount.Version: 2.1.1

Lid meterRubbish - was giving 340 Out side on a deck in mid morning -.Version: 2.1.1

Doesn’t workJust shows a steady reading no matter what light level- dark or bright. And why should I have to log on to my Apple account to use it anyway? Is it trying to collect my password?.Version: 2.1.1

No way this is accurateI wanted to find the best place to put a new plant. I tried it on a place where some of my succulents are growing fine and it said my fc was 26. That’s really really low (like too low for anything to survive). It said that everywhere was around 14-77 fc. I think it really lowballs the light amount. I wasted way too much time with this and I still don’t know where I should put my plant.Version: 2.1.1

Subscription for a basic app that needs no maintenance?Developers are really getting out-of-control with this subscription nonsense. Trying to charge a subscription for a simple app that just uses onboard sensors to read light levels and requires no maintenance or upkeep on the developers part is just laughable. It doesn’t even work. Sometimes it will say one value and then the next twice that value.Version: 2.1.1

Lux meterIt would be nice to see the menu at the bottom of window without annoying advertising. I never did get the program to work. Too bad though..Version: 2.0

Difficult to know what data it’s collectedIt seems to be more for the developer than the user. Within hours of paying for it I had to cancel my card due to a sudden surge of attempts at unauthorised use. And the unsolicited advertising that comes with it is not suitable for children..Version: 2.1.1

Intermittent readingsReadings are all over the place not consistant.Version: 2.0

No instructions No supportI paid over $10 for this and there isn’t a “help” section. It’s blank. There are no instructions at all. The lumen numbers seem to change when I point a light at it but they aren’t consistent with what the flashlight manufacturers state. The development team needs to add instructions and maybe a 3 day free “full use” trial term.Version: 2.1.1

It’s different! So having a viewfinder wasn't a thing then or do you have to pay extra for that? I am hoping there's a more intelligent version of this app out there somewhere. I have not used all of these kinds of apps so perhaps this is the best app for this or perhaps photographers don't care about accurate readings based on location or perhaps I am not using it correctly..Version: 2.0

Pretty but Inexplicably UnsupportedI’ve emailed simple questions (pro member) twice over the last couple years without response. The support section in the app is completely blank. 1) Why would there be a separate setting to measure light indoor versus outdoor? Wouldn’t it stand to reason that you’d want the same sensitivity setting to make an accurate reading 2) Why isn’t there at least a brief explanation of what the settings are and how to properly use the app?.Version: 2.1.1

Doesn’t workDoesn’t work at all, have given it camera access but it just says 0 Lux. I went into settings, help, but that just shows a blank screen with the logo at the top so there’s no way of getting help or contacting them either..Version: 2.1.1

This is not a free appI downloaded this looking for a quick free app to measure lumens. When you download it, you have to agree to pay a one-time fee or get a 3-day free trial and pay $1.99/month that’ll start automatically billing. Not worth it to me. I deleted it immediately.Version: 2.1.1

Stuck at zeroThis used to work….tried it today on ipad and iPhone but it just says zero. And keeps trying to trick me into paying £6.99 for premium. Not likely for something that just doesn’t work..Version: 2.1.1

Very Poor design. The addition of the stupid Google adds right over the selection buttons is most annoying. So you say report this add and say it covers the content and the just give you another add in the same spot. Because of this I am deleting the app so you will not even come close to getting any in app purchases from me. So Long!.Version: 2.0

Subscription for this??I was surprised to see that they want you to pay for a subscription to use this app. Are they serious? Who would pay monthly to use a light meter app?? Ridiculous what world we live in.Version: 2.1.1

Scammy appOn launch wants you to subscribe to use app, with a almost invisible ‘X’ to close dialog. Tries to copy clipboard contents on every launch. Randomly launches you to websites and App Store within 30 seconds of using (advertising I presume). Freezes constantly. This App could be made to work if the dev cared about users, even with advertising (but on a banner, not by launching web pages randomly), but as it appears today I wouldn’t use this app..Version: 2.1.1

WhatLooks good, but unfortunately the advertising banner in this Free version goes right over the words of the icon at the bottom; so can’t see what is meant to be what. This is the most ridiculous oversight I’ve ever seen in a free app. I understand advertising banners being in free apps, not a problem, but to be in the way of functionality, stupid and I would of expected the developer to have tested it first. I’m deleting it now as it has no function..Version: 2.0

ReviewUseless app. Not worth 1c. Awful user interface.Version: 2.0

PRO feature is not workingWas good then seemed to just not work. Doesn’t update when using..... I’m looking for another app.Version: 2.1.1

Does nothingSounds good. One minor jiggle for this light meter is that it doesn’t actually measure light levels. Permanently on zero. But so close to 5 stars....Version: 2.0

Stopped workingDon’t use.Version: 2.1.1

Didn’t workRefund money ASSP.Version: 2.1.1

A Nice App, But Doesn’t Work ProperlyThis app seemed to work well in the past, on my iPhone 7 Plus, but seems to have a major fault on my new iPhone 12 Pro. I tested it in a fixed position on a table in our lounge, using the front camera. The more lights I switched on (uplighter, alcove lights, ‘big’ light) the lower the lux reading! I wonder whether the programmers haven’t taken account of the new iPhone camera’s ability to adjust to low light (?). Whatever the reason, I can no longer trust it, which is a pity. I am loath to spend upgrading to the ‘Pro’ version of the app, because the fault may still be there..Version: 2.0

Do not buyNo help, does not work.Version: 2.1.1

Not much useErrors of +/- 10% pretty rubbish statistics. Wish I’d downloaded a different version.Version: 2.0

InaccurateResults were unfortunately inaccurate.Version: 2.1.1

No goodI compared it side by side to an actual light meter and the apps reading was off and kept getting different readings . i don’t recommend it.Version: 2.0

Doesn’t work at allI opened the app and skipped the subscription screen. It then took me to the main app but they didn’t do anything. If you want a paid app then make it a paid app, and if you require payment to function, then don’t let me skip it. Give me some indicator that it doesn’t work without paying..Version: 2.1.1

BuggyBuggy.Version: 2.0

Ask to payIt ask to pay at begining.Version: 2.1.1

Not accurateNot even close to accurate. Held side by side with a NATA calibrated light meter which was showing 1200+ lux while the app was jumping between 250-300 lux..Version: 2.1.1

RubbishAccidentally payed for the premium version of this app when attempting to do a 5 minute experiment for science. Wouldn’t let me restore purchase and it didn’t even work properly. Can anyone help because i want my money back.Version: 2.0

WASTE OF MONEYThis app does not work as expected. I tried to request a refund and its impossible. Don't waste your money..Version: 2.1.1

Does not work.Paid for the pro version. Works 10% of the time if lucky. Don’t buy.Version: 2.0

Not intuitiveNot enough help available for the novice user. For someone starting to learn about improving pictures it needs to be more user friendly. The help tab doesn’t work.Version: 2.1.1

Waste of timeDoesn’t work, inconsistent readings if you manage to get any readings at all. Don’t waste your time or money..Version: 2.0

Doesn’t workLike title says app is a dud.Version: 2.1.1

Possibly inaccurateAppears to get very different readings between front and back cameras.Version: 2.1.1

NothingJust not working at all!!.Version: 2.1.1

Doesn’t workNone of the interface works. App prompts me to unlock additional features but I haven’t seen the basics work yet..Version: 2.0

Useless for photographersUseless for photography only gives raw lux reading. Expensive waste of money..Version: 2.1.1

Ads...... and dark design upgrade modalDownloaded this and removed it within 15 minutes. Interface is great, but the pop up ad people are talking about is the prompt to upgrade to pro. One button and you’ve given then money. Close button is barely visible on this screen and all it takes is one time not paying attention. Feels icky and trying to trick users. No thanks..Version: 2.0

Not working at allI am getting measurements ranging from 9lux to 2000 lux when I have change anything.Version: 2.0

Useless waste of timeApp does nothing, literally nothing. It gives no reading, even though it says pro mode enabled..Version: 2.1.1

Not great - keeps on asking for moneyI upgraded to the premium one by paying the fee but it keeps asking me to pay every time I try to use it . Disappointed.Version: 2.0

Don’t botherDownloaded thinking it was free to use. It’s not. U have 3 days free then pay an on-going subscription every month. What a rort. Not worth your time or money. Better off buying an app that actually lets you own the thing. Subscriptions are biggest scam that hit the App Store. If I was you, don’t support this model, it’ll just encourage more devs to do the same..Version: 2.1.1

Poor accuracy from cameraWhen checked against our two Elsec light meters in the office, the two Elsec meters showed 0.7% difference in their readings (777 vs 783lx), whereas the app showed 256lx - out by 305%. Not great.Version: 2.0

Poor bait & switchFor starters , look at all the unnecessary privacy data the app collects for no valid reason Second, you won’t get any use out of the app without up front payment There’s far better, more cost -effective apps out there that don’t try to steal & sell personal information.Version: 2.1.1

Doesn’t workDoesn’t work.Version: 2.1.1

An inaccurate app. When I use it close to my reading light. The number dramatically increase from 300 to 1020. It is an inaccurate and incomplete app. DO NOT BUY IT!.Version: 2.1.1

No instructionsBaffled as to how to use the thing.Version: 2.1.1

Waste of MoneyA full refund please!! This doesn’t work at all. I thought it would be useful to have a back up when I don’t have my light meter with me. 200lux reads 450lux on a normal meter. £2.99 wasted. Don’t Buy!.Version: 2.0

Just badDoesn’t work properly. Tried pressing the sun button and holding it and it returns varying results. Uninstalling now..Version: 2.0

Just gives zero. It’s not bright out, a working light meter shows 1/60 second, f2, iso 800. Now, maybe that’s low, might be less than one lux, no idea. But if it is, add a decimal. 0.1, 0.01. Getting nothing but zero is useless and makes you questions if it’s working at all. I did try pointing at the sky. It quickly flipped back and forth between 1700 and 6. Anything ground level still zero. It’s plenty bright to take photos outside. I’ve taken several to verify..Version: 2.0

Doesn’t workI compared the readings with my professional digital lux meter, NOT EVEN CLOSE. 50,00 actually lux read anywhere from 110,000-150,000. 👎.Version: 2.0

Garbage app!! Don’t waste your money!!I bought the app thinking I had to pay to make it work. I was wrong! The app won’t measure any light at all. Displays nothing when you tap or hold the “sun” symbol. If I could get I refund I would!!! Garbage app Note: I own an iPhone 8+.Version: 2.0

This app gives completely wrong readingsI have the iPhone SE 2. Under 4 grow strips which should theoretically have an output of 2000 FC, this app only detects on 20 FC. Other apps I have tried give the correct number It also gives wildly different numbers depending on whether you use the front or back camera for some reason.Version: 2.1.1

Bad.Bad.Version: 2.1.1

Doesnt feel accurateMaybe I’m using it wrong, or maybe I don’t understand lighting, but I really don’t think this is very accurate. I was measuring the intensity of my grow lamps since I’ve got new bulbs and a new set up, and wanted to make sure I could get as close to this old set up as possible and maybe even get some extra lumens in there. The bulbs I was comparing are 840 lum vs 1200 lum, but the readings were all over the place. When looking at the 840 bulbs, I got an average reading of 340, even when it was two and three lamps “stacked” on top of each other (which I’ve heard from other plant people increases the intensity of the lumens on the plants). I was also getting readings of over 12,000 lum on a bulb and hood combo that I know is more dim than that, seeing as my plants are typically stretching under this light (low end recc of lumens for succulents is about 2,000). The readings just feel wildly unpredictable. This is more a gripe with my phone, but also be sure to know that front and back cameras take in light differently. A spot which would read 330 lum on my front camera read as 380 with the back. Even if the numbers are wrong, the “average” and “ratio” I found at least helped me set my lamps up in a better pattern..Version: 2.0

Not free to useWants me to sign up for money taking out of my account just to try it…nup.Version: 2.1.1

Worthless rubishYou do wander how Apple would approve something that is clearly a scam..Version: 2.0

No longer supportedInaccurate. Developer no longer supports app with email address that just bounces back. Avoid.Version: 2.1.1

JokeSeemed to be good, then upgraded to the pro features before the three day trial ended using another device with the same Apple ID because it wouldn’t let me do it on the original device for some reason then it just didn’t take readings anymore from the front camera. It worked using the rear camera but it’s virtually impossible to use like that. I emailed for support and have heard nothing back so was refunded. Found something better anyway..Version: 2.1.1

UselessIf an app charges monthly to perform a single task it should probably perform that task well, let alone perform it at all. Don’t waste your time. +1 star because I like the design/interface.Version: 2.1.1

Subscription cancelledI cancelled my subscription the same day I downloaded it and was charged a month later. When I go into subscriptions on my phone it shows it there with no way of ending it.Version: 2.1.1

BlowsSeems like it does nothing to you pay them.Version: 2.0

Fluctuates too much for accuracyFirst, I just wanted to test a light. So I tested the beam on my wall. And it gave me a reading. 20. So then I tested a dark spot like my pocket. He gave me a reading zero. So I tested the same spot again and it gave me 20 again. I was amazed I thought this was good. I could repeat this over and over again. I thought wow what a wonderful app. Next, I decided to switch to the rear facing camera is it in the front, this is where the problems begin. Because I cannot actuate the camera while hold the phone flat against the wall. That was frustrating. So I switch back to the front camera. The reading that I just got for 20 is now too. That’s a huge difference. So I repeated that test over and over again and got the same result wild fluctuations..Version: 2.1.1

Shouldn’t be a subscriptionApp looks nice but it only does a single task, so a subscription is a rip off. Furthermore, this app only yields very rough estimate of luminosity..Version: 2.1.1

No workyThis app is unusable. I’ve tried to run it on three different devices. The UI controls are unresponsive on an iPad Pro and iPad Air and on an iphone5 the bottom UI controls are absent (cut off). The app was fully functional when I purchased it before an update..Version: 1.1

DeceptionSays FREE, but as soon as you open it payment options appear & you can’t use it without paying. So therefore it isn’t free. Waste of time. Just let us know from the outset that we have to pay for the app..Version: 2.1.1

Help page won’t load on app or website, unclear instructionsA friend recommended me to this app but they use the Macbook version. I was so excited to get something that actually reduced blue light, but I’m not sure if it even does that, and I have no way to confirm that or ability to contact the support team because they’re apparently both down. Considering I paid for the Pro subscription, this is very frustrating so I’m going to have to cancel it. If anyone is able to respond to this and offer suggestions, please reach out!.Version: 2.1.1

You’re still grabbing my clipboard! WHY?!?I’d rate this app NO stars because each time I open or switch to this app it “Pastes” my clipboard. What could you possibly need this for? If you respond... I’d happily change my review - if not, I will continue to label you a “Thief”!.Version: 2.0

Didn’t workApp does nothing.Version: 2.1.1

SketchImmediately after install, the app asked for a credit card number for a one time $7.99 purchase or $1.99 monthly subscription. The purchase should be a secure transaction through the app store instead so we can avoid sharing credit card info with a secondary company..Version: 2.1.1

Only if you pay and still crapOnly if you pay but even then it is still crap as light indoors would not change but meter fluctuates 10 times.Version: 2.1.1

CreepyUpon install, the app repeatedly asked to have access to my clipboard contents. Why on earth would this app need that? Serious privacy concerns. Also note that it is no longer freemium as earlier reviewers have mentioned. You get a 3 day trial but have to opt in to be charged at the end of it in order to keep using..Version: 2.1.1

Defunct appCompletely non functional, reads 0 no matter where you point it, help button doesn’t even work. This is a dead app, why is it still on the App Store? How do I get my pro subscription money back?.Version: 2.1.1

Not of any useBought the full app so as to have it at hand to take random readings. It reads about 200 lux where my light level meter reads about 900 lux. So not reliable other than a factor multiple of 4.5. Dong wast your money buying it..Version: 2.0

Don’t buy!!!This app doesn’t work. Just wasted 5$.Version: 2.0

RubbishTook my money for one of purchase and doesn’t work grrr no idea how to get a refund.Version: 2.1.1

Quite useless - Don’t downloadDon’t download this. I paid the $2.99 to unlock pro thinking this app might function better and I was wrong. Don’t waste your time with this app it can’t read light at night at all. There used to be another app that I forgot the name of that did everything this app should be able to do and actually worked and it was free. The app functionality is trash and I wish I could get my money back and delete this garbage app..Version: 2.0

Fake appFake app. Doesn’t work. Ask you to sign up for subscription. Deceptive dev..Version: 2.1.1

Random not the same reading twiceLooked promising but random readings and not useable.Version: 2.1.1

Not very good and it costs 6.99This App is not great, it’s also misleading as it’s not free at all, there is a monthly fee or one off payment..Version: 2.1.1

ScamThis app is a scam. As you are using the free app a window pops up while holding the light read button. Where you thumb is the ‘yes’ to purchase button appears forcing you to buy the full version. No warnings. No conformation. Very shady.Version: 2.0

Literally doesn't workDoesn't do anything (and I'm a photographer, I know how to use these things). Terrible..Version: 2.1.1

Doesn’t workWasted my money. None of the features work. Scam..Version: 2.0

Does not actually measure luxThe lux setting provides a reading in ppfd. Lux is measured in the tens of thousands, not hundreds, and it doesn’t provide accurate results when compared to other free apps. Went with another free light meter on the store after learning a little more about what I needed to measure. Too bad there isn’t an option for zero stars. 🤷🏼‍♂️.Version: 2.1.1

AhA “pay for” button pops up over the button you’d be pressing to get a reading….Version: 2.1.1

Doesn’t workInstalled and began the trial. Won’t give any reading - just stays at zero. Tried reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, adjusting settings within the app, and still nothing. On a 13 Pro Max that’s fully functional otherwise, and had been using another light meter app that worked without issue….Version: 2.1.1

I shouldn’t have upgraded.I used the free version for several months and it worked well enough for my purposes - light levels for orchids. I upgraded to the Pro version and app said Pro was enabled but none of the Pro features worked. I reloaded the app without any change. Sent an email to the developer and am waiting for a reply..Version: 2.0

THIS APP DOES NOT WORKI have just wasted my money. I have to be careful and cautious next time😂😂😂..Version: 2.0

Does not workWorked fine so bought the pro version now does not work at all, not impressed!!!.Version: 2.0

Not user friendlyPoorly designed app, complicated navigation, no use at all.Version: 2.0

Hacker: Copies clipboard without permissionI received a notification that this app had copied the contents of my clipboard. This means it had accessed it without me telling it to paste anywhere, and it did so without asking permission. This is a classic hacker move: your clipboard can contain sensitive information, which is then easily sent to the hacker. Who knows what else it’s reading? I will be deleting this app and avoiding anything by this developer ever again..Version: 2.1.1

I can’t get it to workIt just stays on zero. There is no clear explanation for how to use it..Version: 2.0

Wildly InaccurateOpen your camera and point it at something. assign a numeric value to the light level pointed directly at the sensor. you just created a lux meter that you can sell in the App Store..... this is a completely inaccurate way to measure light levels in a room. The main problem is that the sensor only detects light pointing directly at its field of view. Lux is a measure of light over a surface of one square meter. A real Light Meter measures light indirectly, that’s why they have that white globe around the sensor. The bottom line is that I tested this app beside a real light meter, and the results were wildly inaccurate. If you’re just looking for a toy to play with, then go ahead and pay the developer $3..Version: 2.0

A disappointing appIt’s a disappointing app and misleading description There’s no mention of the fact that you need to subscribe in order to make use of it.Version: 2.1.1

Not working on iPhone12!Stay clear of this app! I downloaded the app, paid £6.99 in app, which was confirmed on my Apple account, but could not open the app in my iPhone 12 Pro. Daylight robbery. Don’t “get”. Don’t pay !!!.Version: 2.1.1

PaulI couldn’t get it to work..Version: 2.1.1

Confusing opporationShould be really straightforward but it’s actually not which makes it inaccurate. Sometimes it works from the front camera and sometimes from the rear camera. I’m trying the free version so it’s I can’t switch the selection (always says front), but I have done a bunch of experiments covering one or the other and it’s always different. I’m not a photographer (using for simple measurements for mediating circadian rhythm) so I don’t need fancy features just want to measure and have it be somewhat accurate..Version: 2.1.1

UnfinishedAvoid. Unfinished and gives wildly erratic reads. Indoor/outdoor option doesn’t work well. One star rating is one too many..Version: 2.0

Have I just been ripped off? Looks like a scam to me!!Doesn’t work and I paid before I used..Version: 2.1.1
