✓ Too many ads for $9.99Nice idea but waiting for ads to upload so you could click out is time-consuming. Tried to use in Germany and France. Ads were obnoxious and some words were not correctly translated..Version: 1.4.3

✓ Great appThe “Conversation” section of the app is why I bought it and it works wonders. Con: It doesn't keep the last language preferences I pick for this section. Every time I click off, it goes back to the default language preference. British -> British. There does not seem to be a way to change this. The “Camera” section just sits and spins it. Then crashes the app. Not sure why but I have another app that does the camera section perfectly, without hesitation or issues so I was not concerned. The typing section never gets used because the Camera one and the Conversation works fine..Version: 1.4.1

✓ DisfunctionalIt’s ok I guess but not what I was looking for. I needed to translate Japanese instructions from a packet and the scanning option I was looking for is members only. I wasn’t able to type the characters in either because I don’t have a Japanese keyboard option. Overall unless you are paying for membership or you have a digital keyboard to type the special characters of the language, would not recommend.Version: 1.4.6

✓ Utter shamblesI read the reviews first and most of them were pretty good so download this app. Big mistake. 😱As soon as I go onto it it comes up with something where you have to pay😤!!!! I just want to translate homework my Spanish teacher sets me and I am only 12 so I can’t afford to pay the fee. I try typing something in to translate and it immediately comes up with an add where I have to wait ages to press the cross!!!😡😡😡😡 I was aware of the add problem but I didn’t realise it was this bad! ✓ Stupid (PLZ READ)So i thought this was a cool app with NO IN APP PURCHASES and NO ADDS but well looks like i was wrong. and of course they had to have the subscription. why would people get this app when they could just have google translate with free conversation and camera translate with no adds? the real reason why i got this app is beacuase the camera translator on google translate is kind of finicky and not acurate all the time but AT LEAST ITS FREE. and i was hoping this app's camera translator was better and it looked better but then i realized you had to get a stupid subscription and i deleted the app right away. they're just trying to come up with ways to get more money. do not get this app and get google translate this app is just a waste of your time..Version: 1.4.8
