✓ Will not connect to cloud servicesApp has a bug where it will not connect to cloud services, thereby making the app redundant, as you need to have cloud services to be able to view and search cloud storage content. 2/5.MattallsopVersion: 8.27

✓ Limited folder searchCan only search in predesignated or created folders....specifically got this to search in my WinZip folder, but cannot do that...knew inside of 5 minutes and requested a refund but no joy. Trying to work with it but too cumbersome for my needs..EASestoVersion: 5.0

✓ File InvalidFails to index most pdf files saying that the files are invalid! Clearly that’s not the case since the same files open in other pdf readers. Not worth $10!!!.Shankman1970Version: 2.0

✓ Impressive with a couple bugsThe core search here is excellent. There’s a couple of little issues I hope the developer considers fixing - the app will index hidden folders like .Trash in iCloud folders so you end up with results you don’t want. And unlike the macOS version, there isn’t a way to order the search results by filename. Finally the macOS version provides some sort of “sync code” to enable tighter integration with its iOS counterpart, but I can’t find any where in the iOS version to add that..Emoore1Version: 8.22

✓ Great idea but mediocre appEdit: There’re just too many unresolved issues and crashes. I’m abandoning this app after trying to make it work and improve for almost two years. Edit: After using the app for more than a year, I have to knock off two stars for my rating. The app is very buggy and unstable. I’ve tried providing detailed feedbacks to the dev but none of the issues are fixed. It still crashes a lot for anything more than minimal work. Original: The new version now supports picking external directories. I’m syncing my Zotero library to GoodReader via Dropbox, while indexing all the PDFs in this app..TaxyovioVersion: 8.0

✓ Useful tool but buggyIt’s like a personal google for your documents. I used it for school and now I use it at work. I point it at office documents and textbooks PDFs, and it gives me the results I need in one place. Unfortunately the app is faulty. Indexing will sometimes not pick up files after repeated troubleshooting attempts. Worse, pdf viewing is buggy and you will lose your view when scrolling to the next page..Yotu01Version: 8.22

✓ Key flawGood app but search is not good. 1) For example, you cant search phrases like “Barack Obama”. If you do it will find individual cases of each word separately rather than the phrase together. 2) It misses occurrences of words. For example if you “Marx”, the word “Marxism” will not be in the result even though “Marx” is in “Marxism”. 3) Misses some searched entirely. I have a document with certain words, I tried searching those word but this app did not detect it..Fun IlgfdhffVersion: 8.27

✓ Good app with a lot of crashesWhile you are trying to search in a book or any document that has the same word multiple times after scrolling to the next one, the app will crash. Also, if the home back hides by press screen will you read, it will be hard to bring it back again..H5legyVersion: 6.9

✓ Cannot access files on OneDrive—but exceptional developer feedback!!Update to original review: To my original review I received immediate feedback from the developer addressing each of the issues I raised. In the world of iOS apps, this is exceptional. I will continue to check for updates and test the app at a later date. Original Review: When I click on Selected Locations, I see OneDrive (where all my thousands of PDF files are stored), but it appears to be disabled. When I click on the link, nothing happens. Also, when I searched the app for a way to send feedback from the app, there was no intuitive way to do so (as there is in the Settings for PDF Expert, for example). Since I can’t access OneDrive, I have no particular use for the app. PDF Expert indexes my files (although not by a single folder) and allows me to search my library (although not in the ways advertised by this app). I regret that I could not give it a better review, but without the ability to access OneDrive I could not test it against my extensive PDF library..E-BookReaderVersion: 5.0

✓ Good app, lazy tech supportOverall the app is good. I have the app on my iPhone, iPad & Mac. I’ve used it considerably while studying for quizzes & tests. My concern comes in where I’ve submitted a tech support question regarding whether or not “highlighting” syncs across my devices. I’ve submitted 2 requests but I’ve heard nothing in reply. I submitted my requests on their website. I’ve also got highlighting in multiple repetition. I see the word “act” & “finance” highlighted all through my doc and I didn’t initiate this..1 kool katVersion: 4.2
