✓ Great game but a few flawsThe game is good overall. All the pictures are free verses having to pay a monthly subscription on most of the other apps. There’s a few reasons I just can’t give it 5 stars. The game freezes up and I have to close it to get it to work again. Sometimes it will freeze at the end of the puzzle and it shows I never did it. Another thing is the back arrow in the corner. I’ve exited out of the game a lot by hitting it. I think it would also be better if once I colored the right color, I couldn’t change it with another color by accidentally hitting it. Overall a great game though..Version: 1.3

✓ Not happyIf you have time to waste, you should play this. That was my review before subscriptions were added. I wouldn’t be bothered by a one time purchase but a subscription? ✓ It’s GoodI have gotten an answer on an unspoken question: “Will there be new pictures?” The answer was yes, although some of them are a LOT more complicated then the last pictures on this app. I am disappointed on how little the still is to do. Maybe instead of blocking most of the pictures, you could just give all of us a chance with them? I would like to be able to color different pictures, but I’m stuck with space ships, flowers and dogs, as well as cakes. I want dragons, unicorns and more! I love this game with the minus of the back button i honestly think it needs to be smaller in the corner somewhere not the way it is then I wouldn’t accidentally exit out of my picture all the time. ✓ Pixel maniaIt is the worst game I have ever played in my life. Now I am playing pixel art and I could see they copied a few pictures and they are for the thing you have to pay for and on pixel it’s for free. If I would have the chance I would put it in a trash can. My advice is to deliver this game from your mobile device or not to instal. ✓ Very poor effortThis game obviously hadn’t had very much thought or time put into it. First of all there is a thing at the end with an option to share it but the day after I got the app this feature stopped working. ✓ Good app but...The app is great because all the pictures are free so I can handle all the ads but there is a lot. I wish like with other color by number apps that it will mark off that you finished a color. That way you’re not continually looking for a 2 when you are done with them. The other big thing that is SUPER annoying is when you finish a picture and magically there are squares that changes colors. Then you have to deal with watching two ads usually just to fix a mistake you didn’t do..Version: 1.5

✓ Last update ruined it!Two things that set this app apart from others: All pictures were included and available; and you could select pixels right to the edge of the canvas. Both have been ruined in the latest update: Additional content has been added but you have to subscribe to get it - why, why, why subscription??? I'd be happy to buy a number of extra pictures when I finish the ones that are available but I refuse to pay an outrageous repeated subscription for more content than I can possibly use. Also now tapping on pixels too close to the corner close the picture so it has to be reopened and resized back to where I was working - extremely annoying!.Version: 2.2.1
✓ Only have one ‘problem’I like this app. The only problem I have is that after a number is colored, if you cross over it again it comes uncolored and you have to do it again. I find this a bit annoying. I have used other coloring apps that don’t do this. After a tile is colored it should stay colored. Sometimes I like to tap each tile for the detailed ones but if there is a bunch together I like to ‘color’ them not tap them worrying that I don’t undo another tile. Yes there are a lot of ads but I can deal with those bc that keeps the free pictures available without having to pay for the subscription. I will not pay for a subscription as long as the tiles keep coming undone. That’s not relaxing to me. Coloring is meant to be relaxing for adults..Version: 2.6
✓ Don not buy this app!This app glitches all the time and barely works. Sometimes I can’t click on things and it doesn’t let me enter and other times it just repeatedly kicks me out of the app. It doesn’t tell you when you are done with the color of tile and it doesn’t show you the tile that you missed if you can’t find it when you are finished. I only gave it a star because some of the pictures are cool but don’t buy this app! There are better apps, like sandbox and color box. ✓ Love but freezesI’m loving this game and totally addicted to it however it has started freezing quite frequently and when it freezes it doesn’t save what you have done in that section so you have to re-do. Loved how it had a wide selection of pictures, simple and complicated; how you could easily drag to color a line or clump of squares; and especially how there were no "premium" pictures. The update made it so you can "paint bucket" a color for a very large chunk of squares. The one thing I don't like now with the new update is that now there is the premium option. This is probably the one reason why I chose to download Pixelmania over other color-by-number apps. Making premium options just puts Pixelmania at the same level as competitors: "give us your money so you can have more pictures to color!" I had this app for a long time, but when I found this out, I deleted it to try to find another app without premium features; I doubted this so highly I didn't even try. You could at least do a thing where when you complete a picture, you get however many coins depending on the complexity of the picture. Then the pictures that are now premium could cost however many coins. This would be a really cool feature for a future update or to replace premium. Thank you for your time..Version: 2.6
✓ FreezingI loved this app until it started freezing up on me. I'll get all the way through a picture and then it freezes and I lose all the progress I made. Sometimes I have to shut down and restart my phone to make the app work. I get that it's free and all but is it really worth having to shut down my phone every few minutes just to color some pictures. ✓ Good App But Has IssuesI like this coloring app for the most part. What makes me mad is for the last hour I’ve been coloring away. I go out of it for a few minutes and when I come back 8 out of the 12 pictures I colored are no longer colored anymore. This is not the first time this has happened to me with this app either. But this time was the worse. Another thing I wish was different is that when I was done coloring a number that it would show that I have colored all of that number and it’s done. And last, I wish that once you have colored a number right it can’t be changed. I get all of one number done and then I accidentally hit it with another color and then I have to go back and fix it. ✓ Fix this pleaseI would have given it 5 stars but it’s a little unoriginal and more, 1. It would not let you touch the other colors that you did, 2. It’s really not relaxing like the others and I’m on a big device so I have to hold it one way and do the work and face other problems, 3. It pretty much copies the others it has the same tool the bucket that gives you five chances like Unicorn and it’s pretty much the same but less relaxing. ✓ 5* to 1*I’ve had this app since January and was really addicted to it, sometimes colouring for a good couple of hours at a time and was amazed it was all completely free unlike all the other apps like this - worthy of 5+ stars. However, after the new update a lot of pictures have now become part of a subscription charge and I simply refuse to pay £4.99 a month for what it is, especially as they were all free prior to this. Very unhappy, was fun while it lasted but I will be uninstalling as have now complete all ‘free’ pictures. Frustrating, perhaps consider a one off charge to unlock all? Let me just tell you I don’t want to have any hate with the person who made this app. I’m only gonna give this app two stars because: One, is because I have an iPad and a iPhone when I use it one my iPad sometimes it freezes so when I click on the app then it just brings me back to my home screen. ✓ Disappointed that they now have subscriptionsI got this app because it was the only one of its kind that I could find that didn’t require a subscription to access all their pictures. I was enjoying it very much. It is fun and relaxing, and quite nicely done. But I was disappointed that they have recently added a subscription. Yes there are still some free pictures, but you can’t access half of the pictures unless you pay for a subscription. Now they are just like all the others out there, and actually look to be inferior to many of them in overall gameplay. What a pity! I mean, coloring pictures is fun and relaxing, but I don’t want to pay an ongoing fee for it. I might pay a one-time fee, I would understand that, but why the subscription? ✓ Fix glitchesI love this app it’s fun and help me to relax after a long stressful day. The reason I gave four stars is that for the last six days or so the app has been crashing constantly. When I open it, it would just should down and I would have to open it four more times before it would allow me to choose a photo to color. Then mid-coloring it would stick for a few seconds before allowing me to color again. Please fix this, as I really enjoy playing this game. ✓ Upgrade made app worseI loved this color by number app at first for the same reason mentioned by others (they were free), although there were a lot of ads. But after an upgrade, it added pictures to color (with hearts) that when you clicked on them, it tried to get you to sign up for a weekly fee to access all the pictures (just like EVERY other coloring app). In addition, now the app randomly closes in the middle of coloring a picture for no apparent reason, and this happens frequently. It’s very frustrating because every time you open the app, there’s an ad. There’s an ad when you finish a picture too..Version: 2.2

✓ Crashes my phone every timeThis was fun to play for the longest time. I love that everything is free. I have tried other apps like this, but this one was the only one completely free. That being said, after the last update this app crashes my phone every single time I try to use it. I don’t know if it’s because I have an iPhone 8 Plus, or if it’s because of all the ads. I would GLADLY pay $1.99 or $2.99 if it means I didn’t have to have an ad every time I close out of a picture. For now, I’m uninstalling. If this gets fixed, then I’ll gladly reinstall it. ✓ OK game I guessThis game was on an ad I saw while playing Color Therapy. (Ps totally recommend this app) On the ad it said this, “All colorings free!” I got excited because all of the pixel art games I have have some drawing I can’t access without paying, so I downloaded it. I’ve had it for about one or two months now, and it doesn’t work properly. When I tried the game the first time, it kicked me out! I tried again but it kicked me out once more. So finally I shut off my phone completely and when I got back on, the app had disappeared for the folder!!! So I went to the App Store and it was there. I also gave a problem with ads. EVERY TIME I GO ON THERE IS AN AD!!!! It’s so frustrating! So that’s why I deleted this app for about a week. ✓ Inferior to competitorsThis app has a lot of ways in which it can not compete with the many other colouring apps available, the most obnoxious of which being that unlike the rest, it does not tell you when you have finished all the pixels of a certain colour, which is especially irritating when you’re colouring a large and detailed picture. It also does not have any categories in the main menu, making it exasperating to find anything. There is also an excessive amount of ads, which makes everything very frustrating. I stayed loyal to Pixelmania for many months despite of these flaws because it had one thing that made it stick out amongst its competitors: every single picture was free and accessible without a costly subscription. However, its one redeeming characteristic was wiped away in Version 2.2.1, when Pixelmania Premium was introduced. Now even its premium option is worse than its competitors’, and there is practically nothing available for free. I am quite disappointed..Version: 2.5

✓ PixelmaniaThis is a great game for adults and kids alike. Both my daughter and son love this game. This game was great for my autistic son as it teaches him concentration and all the pictures were free. Now a payment has been added my son is very upset as he cannot have all the pictures he wants to colour. If it was a one off payment for all pictures that would be fine but it’s a weekly cost.
