✓ EhThe kids like it when it works but it doesn’t register their toothbrush most of the time. Very annoying because it could be a great way to get kids to brush but it just ends up making them mad that it doesn’t work..Jeff 12567Version: 1.0.8

✓ Effective but major flaw.If your goal is to get your kids to brush then I would recommend this app. The limit however is getting them to brush properly, this can make their technique worse! I did find this helped my 3 and 6 year olds progress from resisting brushing, to the game being an incentive to get ready for bed, that alone was a major accomplishment and worth the price of admission. However the face/motion detection is pretty rough which creates two problems. Firstly the helmet often doesn’t sit on the child’s head, minor issue. Critically however, depending on your child’s technique (and I’ve tried it myself many times, it applies to anyone’s brushing) it only detects brushing with certain angles of your hand and brush. Which means your child will get stars brushing some parts of their mouth, not others, and my kids then learnt to brush some areas and ignore others to get the most stars/highest score. So it actually can teach bad brushing technique. Though at least they’re brushing and just need some extra help at the end. Finally the game is buggy and does crash, though fixed with a quick restart. Also, with two kids brushing twice a day we unlocked all the boss dragons and the top level helmet within a couple of weeks. You can keep playing and leveling up after that (and ours do) you just get tougher versions of the same boss..Dr FIGJAMVersion: 1.0.8

✓ GlitchyFun game and it has really inspired my son to brush but it is very glitchy with the newer helmets after level 30 and 60. His toothbrush is a bright colour but gets lost as well which results in about 10-15 secs minimum of no coins floating up to fight the monsters. ✓ Doesn’t work well with an electric toothbrush.My son loves this app. He uses an electric toothbrush so shouldn’t be brushing as quickly as a normal toothbrush. Can you add an option in the game to allow for the use of an electric toothbrush and also to extend the time as he brushes for 2 minutes which is the standard of his toothbrush. ✓ Fun, but MASSIVELY FLAWED.The concept is great im encouraging kids to brush. However, more coins are given if kids brush harder and faster (which of course is the opposite of healthy brushing). The devs should meet with a few dentists, learn good brushing technique, and then apply that to the game. Also, if your kid uses an electric toothbrush with nice gentle small circles, the app is even more useless. Even if my kids go crazy brushing (not encouraged!) there are still times when no coins are given, so definitely some flaws. ✓ I have been having problems.So I’m a ten year old girl who goes to school. ✓ Loved this game before it brokeUsed to be a highlight of the night for both my boys. NOW: doesn’t recognize that there’s anyone there, ever, sadly. ✓ Good game, needs workMy daughter used to fight us to brush her teeth but now she willingly is excited to do it every morning and night. The camera has a hard time seeing her face sometimes, it’s bright in our bathroom so sometimes I have to hold it for her and move it around a bit to sense her instead of letting it sit on the counter. I wish you could have different profiles for kids to use because if one kid gets a high score, then everyone has to beat it rather than just beat their own scores which is a little sad to see. Also I wish you could change the brushing time especially. We brush our teeth for two minutes and the game is just one. We play both games in a row but we messed it up one day and it locked us out for three hours. If they could fix just the last two things I would definitely rate this game five stars because it has helped immensely. ✓ It's okay…This is a good motivator for brushing, but it doesn't focus on each part of your mouth. Also, to get coins, you have to brush fast, but brushing too hard isn't good for your gums or teeth, so when it encourages this it disappoints me. There are several kids in the family, so when they take turns, they get less and less coins each time. I think you should make an animation in the corner for which parts of the mouth to brush, deal plenty of damage even if the person is brushing at a regular pace, and make it possible to have several profiles. These would be great improvements. Edit: Why is it only 1 minute? A good brushing time is two minutes..OrnthVersion: 1.0.8
