The description of a transient effect sounds somewhat esoteric and frankly not very sexy as far as musical effects go. But the ability to sharpen or reduce attacks and adjust sustain will provide a wealth of tonal opportunities, not just on drums. The developer of this app is very approachable and supportive. ✓ Fills a gapWe needed this. The wonderful thing about ios is that we can have all the software we need to make music on one very small device or few very small, yet very powerful devices. OK we need some cables and an interface or 2, but its easy, compact, powerful, and most of all, fun. This app is another piece that helps us to accomplish our musical goals, and its a good one. All the FAC tools are very well done. You can create a song using one app or one synth, but its so much fun to tweak sounds to make them just right, so you can say: “yeah, thats it” and jump up and down. This app is a tweaker.
