✓ Total FleeceI read a review stating how this game doesn't fleece you for money, couldnt disagree more. Having bought all 4 versions of the game; this game clearly has been built to cream you. I have bought credit, early on in the game - tbh wish I hadnt. I am growing tired of all the random ways it fleeces your coins through various unbelievable scenarios. I literally just changed my mechanic as the old mechanic had a penalty against it (another fleecing move) AS SOON as I had replaced them, it came up with a dilemma and cost my mechanic points - basically ruining the mechanic’s skills - basically I should have just kept the mechanic. My advice - BUY another older version, you will have more fun and won’t be left angry and the blatant ‘mugging off’ It feels like this game developer has sacked all the old staff who created the versions before and has employed developers with the brief: rob ‘em hard; every other app does Got deep pockets? This is the game for you - otherwise stick to V2 or V3 - the initial outlay is far, far cheaper..Version: 1.04
✓ Absolute Crap! Junk!!!First off this is coming from someone that had been playing since mm1. To begin, the first three days are a quality time; racing, winning, feeling like a Motorsport manager. THEN it begins, from here you have two options. Either pay from a dollar to 10 dollars a day just to keep up with maintaining your racers, staff, vehicle, etc. Then theres the second option, you stop playing entirely, log in and watch ads when youre able or allowed to, then after two weeks hopefully you can buy ONE PART. On top of that, even if you chose option A, the game has been shut down for two weeks unable to accommodate for players they one day hoped of having. Which means option A and B are thrown out the window and youre now waiting for a junk broken game to hopefully revive and the time you have spent NOT be wasted forever! This is not meantioning the racing bugs, driver bugs, unreal cost to keep your “team” running youre forced to pay 2 play and thenthe game shuts off. JUNK NEVER BUY DONT EVEN BUY THE NEXT VERSION.... In order to enter events, build parts, upgrade and such you need resources that quickly are used and guess what you need to do to get more….yup pu real money to get more. ✓ Very quickly hit a paywallIt’s a shame because I love the MM games and the previous 3 mobile ones were great. The idea of racing other real people rather than the AI is brilliant. Sadly all the fun gets zapped after the paywall comes big and fast. It’s clearly been engineered in this way too. I don’t mind waiting here and there and I can forgive adverts but there’s no way around this one unfortunately. You’d hope that maybe they’d add a multiplayer option to some of their other games, even as DLC. Or release a version without the paywall on Apple Arcade. Or god forbid, actually update their PC version so some of the endless complaints with it are finally fixed. Unfortunately, money talks more than a sense of pride about releasing a decent game. ✓ TiersThe game itself is fun but after you reach the end of a tier your force to go up rather than having a choice to stay in a lower one, now some people might say that getting in a higher tier is better but if you don’t have the resources to upgrade your car or drivers to keep up with other players then it becomes a grind. not only that but at higher tiers you have to pay gold as well as money to participate in higher tier races the only way to get gold is through sponsors and adds but at the same time you need money to buy staff, pay contracts, buy better drivers, build better parts, research etc. It’s also quite annoying that you only have one engineer to repair parts and you can have more than one engineer so most of the time you have to build new parts to replace the damaged ones as the engineer can only fix one part only, it becomes really apparent in a few tiers when you get three parts for each car..Version: 1.03
✓ Too much maintenanceI love playing this game and I find it very enjoyable but whenever I’ve tried to play recently it never connects me to a lobby, so I haven’t been able to play for the past couple of days and I’m very disappointed mainly because I simply just want to play the game and be able to enjoy it and I can’t because it won’t let me into a lobby, so I’m most likely getting rid of the game if the issues are not resolved soon, I would recommend this game if there wasn’t so many lobby issues.Version: 1.03

✓ Great game, terrible facebook useHave been playing the game for around three weeks and love the Graeme play and functionality. Hadn’t linked my game to my Facebook page after 1-2 days and as soon as I did the game wouldn’t load and kept crashing!!! As I was early into the game I just deleted the app and started again. Three weeks later and after an update and with continued advertising on the game for 50 tokens for linking to Facebook I tried again, big mistake. I’ve just lost three weeks of play and £9.99 of in game purchases as I can now not even get the app to load, so faced with starting again from scratch.........sort it out people.Version: 1.04
✓ Paywall ruins itPros: - Great online experience - Strategy aspect of these games is great as with all their previous titles Cons: - The game is pay to win. Grinding to get a competitive car without spending money is impossible because the game always forces you into higher tiers prematurely so that your car will not be competitive again. You do not have enough time to gather resources and cash before moving up the ladder into a faster class. This is intentional and pretty much forces you to spend real money to keep up with the demand of “materials” so that you can continue to upgrade your car’s parts, because the amount of materials gained from racing is significantly less than what you need. After getting to Tier 3 remaining competitive without this is impossible. My only solution would be to intentionally tank your race results to avoid scoring high enough to move up the ladder while continuing to gain materials but this goes against the spirit of the game and is a huge waste of time. I would have much preferred a non free to play title that would mitigate this effect severely, but this is sadly not the route they have gone down..Version: 1.02.1
✓ Launch failure, keeps crashingI just download the game and I can’t even launch the game. I was just able to click on the start new career button, and from there, it just keep closing the app as the game is loading. After three days, the furthest I got is 99% on the second loading screen (5x today). Can you please fix this bug. ✓ Great game .... when it worksLike all other motorsport manager games this one is fantastic to play. However over the past month or so it’s so temperamental as to whether you can get into a race. It leaves you wanting to ditch it all together. I either get a message saying too high player count or I’m just booted out for no reason. I stopped playing a couple of weeks ago for this reason and come back today and managed 3 races with no issues. After that though I haven’t been able to get in to a race. ✓ DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS GAMEUnfortunately this game is a “money grab” like many others. You are better off buying MM3 or even MM2. This online version has a fantastic UI and the racing is okay. In the beginning and very fun to play for about 2-3 hours of play, but game very quickly devolves into you having no money in the bank and having to watch every long ad you can just to upgrade 1 part that will be outdated after 3 races. ✓ Good game but bugs aplentyI’ve been playing this a while, and the more you play the more bugs you find. They range from irritating like sound effects ringing indefinitely until you advance to the next screen, to downright annoying when you get kicked out of a race, which results in AI taking over and always scoring no points, then the race fee and race number on the contract being subtracted for nothing. This even happens when you try to join a race, it’ll say unable to find a match, and kick you back to the home page, then 5 minutes later you get a notification of the race completing and you getting nothing for it, nothing but deductions. The bugs don’t stop there either. Hope this gets fixed soon EDIT: No update, if anything it’s getting worse. What a complete waste of time this game is. Very poor..Version: 1.05
✓ Encountered hackers/GlitchersAfter 50 or so races and getting to know the gameplay more. Pay To Win doesn’t apply because you eventually will be all maxed within the same tier. It’s all up-to you the strategist to win races. The game is more about strategy both during the races and behind the scenes such as how to budget/investment/drivers/decisions or the pay wall will be there. Very fun game... However there are hackers/glitchers. I encountered a glitcher on my second race as a new player had a tier 5 driver which you cannot hire till you are at that tier. I, at tier 1 vs hacker with tier 5 driver on a tier 1 race. I lost by 60 seconds and I was 2-3 and won team standings. If you noticed the game has constant fixes/patches concerning about players hiring drivers at higher tiers and using them on lower tier races. Changed my rating to 3 star. Will be a perfect game if there’s no glitches. I lost all my races to glitchers with tier 5 drivers on the tier lower races. Now the playing field are even as am getting closer to tier 5 and these glitchers are clueless during races why pit 4 times? hahaha.Version: 1.03
✓ Sighs, would be higher but...So I downloaded this game about 2 weeks ago now, and I’ve been having EXTREME amounts of fun, and wins of course, but lately(today April 29th, 2020 mainly) EVERY SINGLE TIME that I try to race or load into a race, I get the “Unable To Find Match, Please Try Again, Restart” pop-up. It’s literally EVERY SINGLE TIME, without fail! Usually it would happen every 10-12 races, but now it’s EVERY SINGLE ONE! I have deleted, redownloaded, and linked my FB account back up to it about 3-4 times now and it’s still doing it. I have the latest version, of course, so I’m trying to see what’s wrong! Can ANYONE please tell me how to fix this or is all of my hard work and progression just gone? Thankfully I haven’t spent any money on this game yet, but I was very close to though. Right now sadly, I’m guessing that I’ll just have to move on from this one and purchase MM2 and MM3 in order to be able to play the game again and have fun with it. I have screenshots on top of screenshots, if the devs need proof of anything. Please can someone help me try to fix this issue. ✓ Buggy, laggy and pay to win...sortaI love MMM3. This game has the core of MMM3 but it has IAP. My biggest issue isn’t with IAP. It’s that the game itself is a buggy and laggy mess. Going to select my liveries crashes the game constantly, it’s laggy at times and doesn’t respond at all. If you’re going to offer ads, offer more so we can get cash. I’m constantly low on cash even with delaying upgrades. The thing is though, I love the core of this game. It’s the best around and I’ll continue to stick with it. Devs gotta make money I get it. ✓ Slick money makerSo, you’ll probably play this game for 1 to 2 weeks become addicted and think it’s amazing. As others have said the graphics are great, the gameplay slick slick, and the features are plentiful. However… This is where you start to have some problems. After around two weeks you’ll be lucky if you can continue to play this game without spending in the region of £10-£20 each week, it will cost this much to continue to be competitive, to actually be able to afford to hire drivers who rather annoyingly will ditch you no matter how much she will for them after you’ve spent millions investing in their careers. If you are one of those people who is able to not become addicted to a game and cut off when it starts to cost you money in real life you’ll be fine. However once you’re hooked it is hard to get out of it because you’ve already invested so much time in the game so anybody with a bit of an addictive personality or a gambling problem should probably not buy this game.Version: 2020.4.2

The same greedy and manipulative techniques that games like clash of clans and others use are also present here. Waiting on parts to finish and aggressive monetization will pommel you into the ground. I’m really let down by “Paysports Games” as they stoop to an embarrassing low. I never thought I’d say this but I’m so glad that they are not working on the officially licensed PC version of F1 Manager game that’s due to real ease sometime in 2022. ✓ Started out well...This game has a tier system where you have to upgrade the car. In the beginning that’s ok as you can wait a few hours for free cash. But as the levels increase and you don’t upgrade, the car routinely breaks down from mechanical failure or is not quick enough for you to finish in a position to make a profit. Also at almost every race on the last corner I’m passed by two or three cars to push me out of the profit making margin. I tried downloading the game SEVEN times, and it seemed promising at first when I was able to enter the main menu, but then the game crashed when I tried to start a race. After that, the game wouldn’t open. I said to myself “oh well, some games don’t always download right the first time” so I reinstalled the game. This time, it downloaded the content, but then the game froze while it was loading. By now I was getting suspicious that this racing game server was malfunctioning, and that proved to be more and more evident until the 7th time I tried to install this game, in which it wouldn’t even download the content anymore. I killed 50% of my iPad’s battery trying to get this game to work, but no luck. ✓ The Pay to Play mechanic is just plain absurdThis has such potential to be a great game but the mechanics to earn money through racing and sponsor deals and the paltry amounts you get through watching ads is so minuscule that you will struggle to upgrade your car for races (forget winning, just to place respectably), renew contracts for your drivers, upgrade them, hire staff, upgrade your headquarters, upgrade skills at headquarters etc. The only people who are winning are people paying an insane amount of real money to buy in game money. ✓ Not to badI have both the mobile and PC version of Motorsports manger. (By the way when are you guys going to updated the PC version). Now about this new version I like the fact that there are now cars not just dots even though they are hard to see. I thought tire fall off was bad in the last game this one is even worse and I don’t like how qualify is setup in this version. Game play is good however why have open wheel cars racing against GT and stock cars I finds this weird why not separate them into classes? Hands down compare to F1 manager this is in a league all by itself it just needs a little more fine tuning..Version: 1.03
✓ No match foundThis is a great game, highlights the strategic portions of Motorsport racing. However, my only issue with it now is that it was working fine for the first 3 week I had it down loaded, but then suddenly it won’t let me race. It’ll have me a message saying “no matcha found” when there are other people in there and more than enough players online. ✓ Terrible way to make a gameThis game gets two stars only because it’s two flaws are fixable, and I hope the devs will see reason to make important changes. 1st: Buggy. The races can become bugged occasionally, allowing your car to veer off the track and punch through buildings while trying to path-find back to the track, making you lose precious seconds on the lap. Also the advertisement rewards seem limited by amount per day. This will cause your game to freeze if you choose to double your sponsor rewards by watching a video ad. 2nd: Most importantly, the entire economic mechanic is not sustainable. This game is not pay-to-win, it’s simply pay-to-play with more steps. Eventually you will find yourself unable to pay your drivers to race to make money. I figure you’ll be spending $5-$10 a day if you really want to keep playing. Not even the VIP is worth buying, because the extra XP your drivers will earn will make them MORE expensive than the payoffs! It’s simply a mechanic that does not work for average players. A simple fix would be to just make the game subscription based like other multiplayer ventures and get rid of the mechanics that require multi-micro-purchases. ✓ Good until you have to renew the contractsThe game play is interesting and fun, but then your driver comes up to contract renewal… The quotes from the journalists in the game say it best “I’m hearing contract negotiations between <team x> and <driver 6> have broken down. I wonder what the issue was?” And that’s exactly it… how do you do a negotiation when you have three variables to play with that can be moved by different amounts, but the driver gives you absolutely no feedback on what part of the contract they don’t like. Deleted the game as after the 3rd driver in a row that did this it got too annoying..Version: 2022.1.3

✓ Glitchy gameYou can spend many minutes trying to start a race, then kicks you off. While it refunds your money for the race, sometimes the races just won’t load and eventually you just give up trying. Driver stats don’t really seem to mean anything, as I’ve got a driver with very high stats and a 2 driver with very low stats, and they tend to finish at randomly close intervals, with the low driver sometimes higher than the other. As others have said, some game hackers have higher tier drivers and strategies that shouldn’t belong on the Tier you’re on. Sometimes cars will drive WAAAY off the track. Interesting concept that the cars can drive through buildings!.Version: 1.04
✓ Fun...then notLove this game, truly. A few minor hiccups but nothing even worth mentioning in the grand scheme of it all. The only issue I have come across is the inability to reset your account and start over. Because of the interesting dynamics of this game it takes a few days and a few mistakes to finally get a good grasp on what matter and what doesn’t. Unfortunately by then you have wasted a lot of money on stuff you didn’t need to and it would just be nice to go back and do it all the starting races over again with the proper knowledge of what your goals should be. Other than that a very playable and addicting game. -I take it all back. Renegotiations are totally in the dark and way too easy to lose a driver that you spent so much time and resources building up. With NO indication on what the driver will want and how much influence each option will add it is impossible to make an educated decision. Anytime I do it tells me that it will refund my money and I can look for another race. I’ve tried this 6 times in a row now. There are several thousand people online. There is no obvious reason this should be happening. One of the other reasons I have an issue with this game is it although it is fun almost anytime I have remotely enough money to upgrade my drivers for some reason all of a sudden there’s a new dilemma. ✓ Unable To Find MatchLove the game and have progressed well. Unfortunately it seems now all I am able to do is view ads because the servers are not prepared to support the demand for game play. At least 7 of 10 attempts to race come back unable to find match, causing the game to reload. Each time this happens is about a 2 minute process, all those failed attempts begin to add up in considerable amounts of lost time. This has been an ongoing issue form for the last couple weeks with the experience getting considerably worse the past week. ✓ Let downLooked forward to this from playing the old motorsport manager for a long time until I found out how to practically won every time! Went through making my car as good as possible before my first race, sacked a driver, hired a new driver. Hired staff, upgraded brakes to level 4, had to wait every time, went to race and 4 times it failed and said I hadn’t joined the race, no explanation why or what I’ve done wrong, 20 mins sorting my team out wasted. ✓ Dissapoint Pay to Win UpdateHuge fan of the previous two motorsport manager games. The depth yet simplicity made them both an absolute blast to play with tons of replayability. This version adds a fun “online” twist but ultimately weakens the formula due to the need to add in Microtransaction mechanics and simplify the gameplay/strategy for a casual/free to play audience. Worth a download, but i put it down after a day or two (and multiple $ purchases) because the depth and strategy was gone and replaced by pure pay to win..Version: 2020.6.0
✓ Has potentialI think I can agree with the reviews of several other people who have made the mistake of playing this game. I’ve only had it for a few days now and I’m already deleting it, here’s why: 1. The rewards for racing are mediocre at best. Races also glitch out a lot which often causes you to lose the race, sometimes ALL the cars on a section of the track to veer completely off the track causing most of these people to lose their place. 2. Drivers cost way too much, and the more you upgrade a driver the more they cost. And of course you can’t race with only one driver, so if one of your drivers contract expires you can’t race until you either renew their contract or find a new driver, and if you can’t afford to renew your predominantly unskilled (yet surprisingly demanding) drivers contract, then that means your just going to have to settle with a driver who can barely stay in any significant pole position. For these reasons, I did not enjoy the game for longer than a day, and I don’t think you will either..Version: 1.05

✓ Game crashes frequentlyI have spent money on this game and after 4 weeks I love the gameplay, however the stability of the game is quite poor. The main problem is possibly too many players on the severs at once or the iOS app. I have tried uninstalling, resetting iPhone 13 ( iOS software is up to date) but still when login on it takes forever. When or if I do get in, when trying to race it says it is loading but then “refunds the credit” as unable to find players. I am so disappointed as I was happy to spend money but no longer. I am nearly at tier 5 (of 7) and don’t wish to commit more time and money. ✓ Some things to figure outFor starters I think the game is really fun. But they have a few things to figure out before it’s a game you can really enjoy playing. 1st: The economic design of the game is unsustainable. I find myself having to spend money in order to keep playing. Driver and upgrades costs in respect to payouts aren’t enough to keep you going let alone competitive. 2nd: Their servers clearly cant handle the amount of players. Find myself getting notices that there is unusual high activity and they will find match. But it doesn’t match me to game. Instead I have to restart and while they refund my entry fee. I have gone through this 10 times before actually getting in a race. The frustration alone is enough to quit playing. 3rd: and final, the game is a bit glitchy. And also, why is there only Formula E drivers? Can’t u also have Formula 1 drivers as well, because when I first saw the game, I thought it was gonna have formula 1 drivers on the game, but no, there ain’t any there!!! However, once you get to the point where users are using the ERS or Push to Pass strategy they get a ridiculous advantage. Even after they nerfed it. If they are the first or second row they will win by at least 30 seconds. I guarantee you will encounter this in every race from that point on.
