Lazy Bones - Routine Planner for Negative User Reviews

Not useable for freeBasically useless unless you pay for a monthly or annual subscription. Once again total classic bait and switch scam! DON’T BOTHER UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY $$$$$!.Version: 9.3

Quite Bad😴Don’t bother getting it, it is very complicated to use and will be a waste of your time!!!!.Version: 5.0

AnnoyingThe app is fine, has a nice list of already set items. However, I have to hit restore purchases every time I open it to active my already bought subscription! Highly annoying..Version: 9.3

Was better for a whileApp has been updated to be ok. Unfortunately it has now started crashing whenever I try to open it and will not open at all..Version: 7.4

AVOIDCan't seem to 'fail' a habit, making it a bit pointless. And yes, this is yet another subscription, or another bill to add to the monthly budget. £30 a year for what is a glorified tick box. If you are such a mug to fall for these kind of apps and slippery monthly payments, then I guess you deserve to get shafted in this way. If I'm subscribing to something for a regular monthly payment, what monthly updates do we get for our money that makes a one-off purchase not possible? Pretty little icons once in a while? Are you having a laugh??? Plenty of alternatives out there. Get a spreadsheet, make your own entries and stop supporting these ridiculous and pointless subscriptions. And no iCloud. Yep, they also want your email address to do what iCloud already does. Can't help but ask why....Version: 2.3

DisappointingThey will let you update your habits and “play”, and only then tell you about the price of subscription. Why pay £20 to do something you can do on the reminder....Version: 2.3

Probably great if you pay for the subscriptionThe design is nice and seems like it would be useful, but without paying for the subscription you can only have 3 habits. I’m not looking to pay for something that I can just set reminders for on my phone. I thought it would make it easier by having it all in one place, but it’s not worth the money for me I’ll just use the reminders that already come with my phone..Version: 9.5

I’m disappointedEvery time you try to select a certain day of the week to complete a task, for example if I selected Saturday and Monday to go shopping it randomly selects a day of the week that I hadn’t selected to complete the task therefore I’m very disappointed!!!.Version: 6.1

Great if was free and didn’t crash .I thought I’d found an app that I could use but yet again you have to pay if want to use full version. I haven’t even subscribed to full version and it kept crashing..Version: 8.4

DisappointedThought I finally found an app that didn't do it the whole monthly/yearly subscription garbage. I would've been fine paying a one time fee for all features, and I was really excited. Oh well..Version: 4.1

Not for meNot at all what I after. My habits are too individual. None of them were available..Version: 7.7

Good but...Trying to order habits in my preference doesn't work. Other than that its a good app, reminds me to do little things, like taking a breather or drinking water. Great app just needs a little fixer uppers..Version: 7.2

LOST POTENTIAL!I’m paying a monthly subscription for this app and there are DOZENS of bugs that make it unpleasant to use. It really is a shame, because this app has so much potential to be great....Version: 10.1

Needs changingOnce I had set it up I really liked it, but then after I had checked that I had done two things (reminders) it told me about a free trial, but for that I had to set up a paypal account so I can pay when my trial is up, and there was no way to say no or click off of it like any other apps. So I had to delete it and use an old fashioned pen and paper because I didn’t want to have to set up PayPal.Version: 3.0

No refund! This app makes you pay to use it(no problem), but don’t refund your money after you figure out it’s inferior to apple’s reminder app. You’ve been warned! Have nice day..Version: 12.0

Not user friendlyIs not so intuitive Very hard to learn..Version: 9.3

It’s okay but annoyingI’ve been looking for an app like this for a few days and have probably checked about 5 different apps. I thought this was going to be the one. But it’s not. I want to be able to track more than 3 habits WITHOUT having to pay and more than half of the set habits aren’t available because I need to pay. I’m sorry but I’m not using this app..Version: 8.0

Constantly crashesJust downloaded and paid for the premium app and it crashes every 2 minutes. What a waste of money!!! Great idea but developers need to fix all the bugs or the app is useless!!!.Version: 8.1

Paid for subscription twiceI paid for one year and it never registered in the app. I emailed them and they never replied so I paid $40 for nothing..Version: 11.2

Glitches too oftenEvery time I try to schedule a reminder for a habit, the app shuts down. I updated app and even restarted my phone in hopes that it would help but the issue is still there. I just paid for the premium subscription and am truly regretting it! What a waste of what seems like could be a good app! 😒.Version: 7.7

Stupendously annoying but a good way to relearn the basicsSmall issues with lack of control.Version: 8.5

Don’t like the new changesThis app much better a year or two ago… much simpler and I liked the interaction with completing a task way more before. I don’t think I’ll keep using anymore. It’s not the same..Version: 10.4

It’s not worth it...The app crashes EVERYTIME I use it so I can be midway through creating a task to do or ticking the box of a task I’ve finished and either way the app crashes. Once you’ve created your own task, you think it’s all great until it asks you to subscribe for either £29.99 a year or £3.99 a month. If you don’t do either, you can’t use the app..Version: 2.3

New versionLove this app!!! I purchased a one year subscription and I use it all the time. Then the new update came and it canceled my subscription..Version: 5.0

BugHey guys loving the app but its nor syncing to my watch..Version: 9.3

Was excited untilDownloaded the app and it looked really promising. As I have tried many simular apps that I end up hating and get discouraged. I was attempting to set up a weekly schedule but once I tried to add more than 3 habits, a lovely pop up appeared. You have to pay if you want to use this for more than 3 habits among other features. Sorry but I’m not spending $2 a month for a digital to do list and some reminder notifications....Version: 6.1

Not the best causeIt’s not 100% free like this needs to be unlimited and free.Version: 6.1

OkWas good until started telling me that I was going to charge me. It was quite good but not so good that I’d pay for it. Good if you’re ok with paying for it..Version: 3.1

Great, but flawed. I would give it a 3.5I love this app. The ability to add notes to a habit helps me feel very organized. I also like the different colors that can be assigned to each habit. The notifications work well and the reminders get me off the couch and doing whatever I need to do. Assigning specific times for each habit is great too. There are some downsides though. Managing habits in the setting menu seems excessive. Being able to manage habits within the habit would be simpler. This isn’t a huge deal, but it can be confusing if you forget where this setting is. My biggest issue is syncing between devices. My iPhone never syncs with my iPad. I frequently switch between the two devices and even though it says iCloud sync is enabled, it doesn’t sync. I receive notifications for things that I have completed, and it becomes egregious for repeating habits. I’m aware that this issue is being worked on, but it is currently an issue. Also, if you don’t have the Apple’s “Mail” app you can’t access help and support or the bug reporting options. To send an email about the syncing issue I had to download Mail, and then create an iCloud email to contact support. Super annoying. Other than those downsides, the app is pretty great if you plan to only use one device..Version: 11.4

Good but.........It was all good setting my habits but I tried to add another one and it told me that I can only to 3 and you have to pay to add more than three. I’m not paying just to add a habit..Version: 5.1

Only 3 habits unless you payDeleted it. You can’t even try it with this limitation to see if you want to upgrade. Infact if you want to do a habit 3 times a day- you can only track one habit. The interface looks cool..Version: 6.1

From a beginner #letdown😞This app is great over all awesome but What dose bug me is only a certain amount of emojis are available to us unless we buy the pack or something which is how I know you make money but I suggest coming up with your own emojis or “ doodles “ and also a lot of the other options like reminders, colors, or app icons are also apart of your pack.🥺.Version: 9.4

Cant change the date of activityWhen I set an activity for a specific day, it just gets put for today’s date. The app doesn’t work so it’s useless.Version: 6.1

Must payCan only track 3 habits for free. Any more and you have to pay..Version: 6.1

Love itI really love this app but I wish on the unpaid version we could add more than 3 tasks I don’t see why we would have to pay for adding more 🤷🏻‍♀️.Version: 6.1

How does this get >4 stars? No tutorial. UI simple to the point that it’s not easy to see what to do. Allows you to check off tasks in the future, days before you’ve completed the activity. Icons that seem like they should execute a function are just images. I like the premise but the past 30 minutes were frustrating enough to spur me to write a review, which I don’t often do..Version: 7.4

I love the ideaI love the idea and I know it’s really cheap but there is such limited use of this app if you don’t pay. Some apps are still functional but this one is not. Wouldn’t recommend.Version: 7.7

It’s a great app but cost keeps climbing.Last year this app was $10 for the year which I signed up for. To get a notification that tells me my subscription has been discontinued and Now it’s had a nearly $20/year increase? For what? I change of colour scheme and the ability to add more than a couple of habits? As much as I love the app I don’t think it’s worth that..Version: 9.4

PromisingI’m looking forward to using this app, but it keeps crashing..Version: 7.4

Sync doesnt workHey, thanks for developing this app & responding to reviews. I have the app installed on my ipad pro & iphone 11 (both latest version of ios & your app) but my habits are not syncing even when I tap the icloud sync button. Please help!.Version: 7.3

It’s okayGreat app, except for the fact that you can only have 2 tasks for free and you have to pay for 3 more..Version: 5.1

Worst app EVER needs changingAt first it was ok but when the subscription ad came up there was no way off and I could no longer use the app!Would not recommend it to anyone.Version: 3.2

MehI don't like that I can only have 3 otherwise I have to pay, its really annoying, looking for something free..Version: 3.4

Time of week. Can’t figure outOk but for above also hard to get unique nickname.Version: 6.1

Too much hapticsI think your overusing haptics, it would be good to have this reduced or an option to disable it..Version: 5.1

Very disappointedVery bad experience.Version: 3.4

Uh ohSeemed good at first and I was like yes! But then the subscription message came and I was very very disappointed 😔. This would have been an AMAZING app if there was no subscription..Version: 2.3

Free Trial App - $34 yearly entryYou can only have three goals to post and a week free trial..Version: 8.7

Used third party to track you And identify youSlightly nicer looking calendar that tracks you and will sell info on you. Also uses third party trackers to identify you and track you. Just use calendar notifications..Version: 9.3

ICloud syncing issuesThis app doesn’t seem ready for prime time. Buggy. Accidental duplication of habits, and won’t sync correctly to Apple Watch, even after several resets and re-installations. It would be a good app if it worked correctly, but I can’t recommend it right now..Version: 9.3

Lazy Bones...There is way to much things that you cant have unless you have premium and some people might really like the ideas that this app brings but then they realise: you cant make your own habits, you can only have 3 habits, no app icon, and only six presets to choose from, plus a lot more. So please “Lazy Bones” make some things change like without premium you can have unlimited habits because some people dont want to pay!!!!.Version: 10.2

Easy to use & aesthetically pleasing, except...As a minimalist, I only download a new app if I know “what job I’m hiring it to do”. I wanted to get my habit tracker out out of google tasks and my documents/study notes app, and have never found an app I liked until I discovered Lazy Bones. It’s easy to use, and pleasant to look at - but there’s a few things that are keeping this app in the gap between good and GREAT. 1. Overuse of exclamation marks. Have some variety with regular periods, even in your “suggested habits”. Not every sentence on the app needs to imply EXCITEMENT! It feels forced. I feel like the app is yelling at me all of the time and it’s exhausting. 2. Habit Flavor text is not customizable. The generic (and repetitive) “Go for it!” for an incomplete habit and “Good job!” For a complete habit feels stale like a boring computer is spouting hollow pre-programmed encouragement at me. I’d love to have the option to customize these per habit to make it encouraging specifically to me. Let the user decide what text encourages them to get it done and use your app to do it. Let them add their “why” for getting it done. Maybe I’m biased against the overuse of exclamation marks, but the app still does the job I’m hiring it for, so I bought it. I definitely recommend it to my clients for an easy tracker with a widget they can put on their Home Screen. Still, hoping to see some continued improvements!.Version: 9.3

It’s a shame...I really love this app, it’s perfect for someone like me. So hard to get into a habit. Love the colours, the cute icons, the reoccurring habits. But every app seems to be asking for a monthly/yearly fee, I cannot keep doing that. I’d rather pay upfront fee. And only 3 habits just doesn’t work..Version: 3.4

Great app if you buy premiumCan’t buy the premium version of the app so can’t track more than 3 habits. Great app though it’s wonderful but if you’re looking for a free app this is not for you..Version: 6.1

Do not downloadIt’s a well designed app. But it is not worth £4 a month..Version: 2.3

Amazing phone app but disappointing watch appAbsolutely love the phone version, simple interface and lovely way to colour code and add symbols to habits. Something about it just makes me want to use it and actually check off habits. However I wanted to start using it on my Apple Watch instead and discovered the watch app is really glitchy- doesn’t sync well with phone app and sometimes habits don’t show up at all! Sadly had to switch to another habit app- please fix watch version!.Version: 10.4

Crashes on launchThe app opened at first but since I subscribed, it has crashed on launch. I’ve rebooted my iPhone X, deleted the app and reinstalled, it just won’t work. How does this even pass quality control? Is there any?.Version: 7.0

Unhealthy expectation in app to be perfect robot.Yea paid for a whole year subscription and I don’t regret it. But it bothers me a lot how this app focuses not on just getting tasks done, but the absolute necessity for perfection. it is good to strive and be better, yea even perfecting something is great. But this app focuses way too much on perfection. To me a perfect day, week, month does not mean robotically getting every chore and task done. If I set a thing for money and do it on Tuesday that’s fine with me. Sometimes in life it is worth living in the moment and catching up on tasks later. And this app punishes your for it. You could miss a single task out of a day. You could have finished 99 other tasks that day, and you are essentially punished for it and your day/week/month and every streak and every stat is ruined. Sad because I like the app..Version: 9.3

I lost all my dataPaid for a month and after using the app for a few days I lost all my logged habits and progress. After sending a request to support I got a response that basically said: “we know it’s not ideal but we rebuilt the statistics and it has side effects”. Usually if a developer changes their data structure or implements any improvements they make sure all their user data can be transferred correctly, especially if the app isn’t free. Absolutely unprofessional..Version: 5.0

App won't open, crashesI tried wifi off and wifi on and every possible log in option (Twitter, Facebook, Google, and skip sign in) /: I downloaded it on a gamble since all reviews had been deleted. It let me down..Version: 3.4

GlitchesStarted the trial and enjoyed adding and completing habits. Clicked on ‘replay tutorial’ as I wanted to make sure I was using all of the features. When this had finished, the ‘start free trial’ pop-up came up. Went through it until it acknowledged I had already started the trial which ended in ‘error occurred’, and then stated the trial selection again! Ended up deleting and re-adding the app, making up 2 habits and then going through the pop-ups until my trial showed up and went through (didn’t bother with an account when it was working so had to start again) Also has issues with freezing/crashing when ticking a habit. For an app that requires a subscription, it still has far too many glitches but does look nice when it works..Version: 2.3

Don’t Pay For A SubscriptionI paid for the yearly subscription and really enjoyed this app for awhile. My husband and I both contracted Covid, which interrupted our daily lives for a few weeks and I didn’t use the app regularly as my daily schedule and routine was completely disrupted. It’s been roughly a month, but now that I have my normal life back, I have tried using it and it tells me to renew. I am subscribed until January 2022, so I am not paying for another annual subscription only 2 months into my current one. Buyer beware!.Version: 10.1

Doesn’t sync with Apple TVThe only reason I purchased a premium subscription was that it said icloud sync would enable it to sync to the apple tv. This did not work and now I can’t cancel the subscription..Version: 12.0

No Basic Version AvalibleApp cannot be used without paying for a subscription, not mentioned in description....Version: 11.4

I loved itI enjoyed this app enough I had a serious set up going and had been paying a subscription to use as many tasks as I needed as well. Well I got my usual notifications today, but when I went to knock off some tasks I had done - EVERYTHING is gone. Not only the numerous of tasks I had, but all my history and the badges have been reset. It’s really a great app, I love the layout and how it works but this is just a massive blow that makes me NOT want to continue the sub and just delete it because I don’t have the energy to start over. So much for iCloud backup/syncing capabilities..Version: 7.10

Cool appBut it’s stuck on the tutorial swipes and is annoying af like let us disable tutorial or something.Version: 9.0
