✓ Takes me backUckers would never win a graphics beauty contest but the game is the game - optional wafu rules (no bomber rules thankfully lol) and it just transported me back to Leanders in the late 70s, early 80s where a mess deck table wasn’t complete without a painted uckers board. ✓ Well worth a quidWith free apps galore to choose from, you might miss this one without realising. For 99p though, you get NO ADS !! On top of that, it is the King of mess-deck games, Uckers. With the ability to toggle key rules on and off, the game can be as infuriating as you like. Main snag is that you’re playing against a computer, so you can’t challenge an old oppo yet. Minor snag is the lack of sound from rolling dice or tapping counters, but you can always choose your own background music and have whatever poncy drink you want - without the risk of acquiring a lifelong nickname. ✓ Silly moves by computerThe computer only plays a 7 out of 10 difficulty game. Is there a way of increasing the difficulty of the game? Thankful I found the correction arrow as annoyed when my finger slipped and could not correct the move. Not ventured on line yet as only had the iPad 3 days but managed 3 Eight Piecing. ✓ PredictableGreat value at less than a quid and have played it endlessly with different rules on and off. Dice rolls are predictable, especially near the end and you are going to give the computer an eight piece dicking. 5 sixes, a double, more sixes and a perfect finish! Never seen that kind of finish in 35 years, but now daily. Good thing is it fits in my pocket but I still carry my board as the rules are on the back. Not too popular on the Tube..Version: 2.0.3

As well as playing online being in the pipeline could we also be able to synchronise between our devices so that we can continue to play whenever? ✓ Brilliant!This game takes me back to the Mess. I have only one complaint; once you start winning the computer suddenly becomes “very lucky” in the number of sixes and doubles it manages to roll. I counted them during my last game; the computer managed a combination of TEN consecutive moves, eliminating all my pieces and dominating the board. Is there a timber-shifting algorithm? 🤣🤣 Still loving it though....Version: 2.0.3

✓ Mixy BlobYou can beat the ‘computer’ but it becomes frustrating and unrealistic to throw three doubles, all bits off, every game when you are in a good position. The computer then throws enough consecutive doubles and sixes to move all its pieces near to home. If it happened every now & then you would accept it but not every game. ✓ Great memoriesI haven’t played Uckers since the early ‘80’s. It’s taken a couple of games to get back into it, and I’ve beaten the computer! Loving it. Downside, I couldn’t easily see where I’d got blobs, but the strategy of blocking etc. soon came back to me. For 99p, it’s excellent. ✓ Great game!Just needs the sound track to Blues brothers or Party Party and I’m back in the mess square! One improvement suggestion for you though, could do with stopping the computer rolling the dice when he’s got a mixiblob behind you and has no possible moves, frustrating as the computer is normally a 6 throwing, double throwing b’stard normally!!.Version: 1.3.3

✓ Top Retro GameSuch a great game with no adverts and no rip off additions. Bravo to the developers especially during these lockdown times for creating a game to pass the time away. As a current serviceman in the RAF I have played this many times all over the world using different rules. Could the developers please consider blobs moving backwards with doubles. Also using a snake when playing with less than 4 players. The snake uses an unused colour and moves around the board one space at a time every time a 6 is thrown. The snake eats everything in its path and you have to role a large enough number to jump over it. Great game though..Version: 1.3.3
✓ Six Throwing, ‘Tiff Moving, Stand Up Finishing……Great app, fab to play. Computer reliably throws sixes to out bits, six off blobs and to finish! On several games Computer has thrown twice as many sixes eg my 18 v 36! My sixes will of course be whilst stuck behind Computers blobs. Will also six off a 4 bit blob no problem! However, so far, my tally is 50 games to me and 10 to Computer including 3 eight piecing, not been eight pieced yet! Have also thrown snakes eyes 3 times for all bits out v Computer’s one. Overall great app to hone your Uckers skills on, stats help on post match analysis & die thrown (or not!!)..Version: 2.0.3

I would question the computer opponents logic sometimes as it seems it likes the suicidal option of heading for a mixi-blob when there are, what I think would have been better options, therefore fairly easy to beat the computer..Version: 2.0.1

✓ Amazing digital recreation of Uckers!!!What a great little find in the App Store. Working from home isn’t the same without a mess deck full of oppos, but at least this digital six-throwing-b*****d is keeping me entertained at standeasy! I’ve all manner of amusing anecdotes scribbled on the back of my phone now. The up-tables get expensive in screen repairs, but well worth it. I love that the WAFU rules are in there as an option too. I.e. the computer nearly always gets all pieces out every game to your 1 piece if you’re lucky & then goes on to roll up to 8 doubles & 6 combos in a roll. This happens all game every game for me. The multilplayer option is what it’s all about when you can get matched with someone who wants to actually play, the amount of times you sit there waiting for an opposing player to roll , but who doesn’t, it’s very frustrating and actually quite rude. Could it be tweaked so if you enter a game but don’t bother to respond after a couple of minutes you are assumed to have conceded.Version: 2.0.3

✓ Finally!This is a great version of my favourite board game. An old pusser’s way of passing time. This version is missing some of the obscure rules that pop in other parts of the world, but that’s not surprising.
