The only reason I gave this game 4 stars is because at 2/3s of the way through it said I ran out of tickets so I had to watch a million ads or pay, which really angered me. ✓ Underrated?I honestly don’t think this game deserves all the hate it’s getting. The tickets in my opinion, is a really nice idea since with most story games yon your mobile device you have to pay to play the game. This I think is a pretty clever way of payment without literally paying any money and I think that if the developers hadn’t incorporated this feature within the game, you’d have to pay actual money to get full access to the game. ✓ Was great, it so sure nowI got the game due to great reviews and a story on the App Store. It’s was amazing and unlike anything I had played before. Looks and sound were wonderful. Life got busy so I stopped playing for a bit and when I picked it up today it looks like they are hard for money. I don’t mind watching ads for free tickets or whatever but the apps are false ads. They advise games that don’t work the way they say they do. I know because I have played them. While I like that they have added to the game the main screen looks like one of those expensive games where now that I have done the first level I need to pay to play now. Which is a shame, I Really enjoy playing. I hope that it’s not going to cost a fortune..Version: 2.0

✓ Awesome storytelling, gorgeous graphicsAbout halfway through atm, so many things I love about this game . The graphics are detailed but simplified in a beautiful way that i find very pleasing, the settings are rich and varied. The storytelling is compelling and the dialogue well written. The controls can sometimes be frustrating but work pretty good overall. Soundtrack is subtle but peaceful, and turns suspenseful in the games darker moments. The premise of the story is refreshingly unique and very interesting. Also - and this is big for me - you do not have to shell out real $ to play or unlock anything - you just occasionally (every half hour or so) will have to wait a set period (15-60min) to advance in the game and usually have to watch just one 10sec ad. If you like interactive, rich and nuanced storytelling and enjoy a puzzle aspect I highly recommend this game!.Version: 3.4
✓ Nice graphicsI like this game a lot,I like that you can solve puzzles and make choices. It just annoys me that normally to make a better choice it costs gems. You get gems when you finish a chapter but only 1 and the choices usually cost 10 or more. ✓ Ok, my Review.I just started playing this game yesterday and so far I love and I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews. I understand that the paying for tickets issue is a nightmare and the stories are a bit short and sometimes dialogue can be a bit dull. But the visuals and audio are stunning, creating a great experience for anyone, as it gives such a fanatical and beautiful atmosphere. I love the idea that there is puzzles to interact with and not one are quite the same. I have completed the first two stories and they were interesting and did entertain me however in some places the storyline was quite confusing and I felt it didn’t really work, just bare that in mind. Also the gems situation is annoying but I don’t disagree with it. But thats about it, great game overall with beautiful art style and visuals with many little challenges for you to complete, tickets are annoying and shortness. ✓ Great but glitchyI always love the stories you guys write and the play through is fun and engaging. You also interact a lot with the characters which I love. However the game is highly glitchy. If you aren’t on your device, the time for the tickets stop. The time only ticks down if you are doing something else on your mobile device. I also wish that you kept all of the old stories with the old characters as well. Don’t get me wrong I love Salem academy but I miss Daniel. It would be great if you kept every story that was ever on the game in case someone wanted to replay because it was so good. The other glitch is that after a certain amount of ads you watch to gain tickets, you can’t watch them anymore. I truly don’t feel like waiting an hour just to play the next episode. ✓ Great game I have to say!So I have to say that the graphics and the game itself, a new story every week is a great concept, and the plot of every story is amazing, it’s such a unique game, I can’t be too naive but to say that this game has great potential, it’s really just asking for money, which I understand for so much hard work, but I think it attracts less people the further they get into it, I was stunned about the game so much, I had to show all of my friends, but the tickets kind of just get in the way, I don’t mind waiting for an hour to continue, but it’s more than 2 times in one short story, this is a great organization, and I enjoy your game, please decrease the time of when u have to wait to continue the story, or just put ads at every story right after you finish so that you at least get currency from your work, I can’t ask for much, but I wish you understand my statement and review, fun game overall, I’d have to say this is one of the top 10 best mobile games based on my experience. Two things that I don’t like, you have to pay for some stories. And the last 2 stories have such bland descriptions I don’t even wanna play them. The first two sounded exciting and vivid but the last two were boring and (again) bland. One thing that annoys me “SKIP LEVEL” options. In the Secret there were the gumball machines. I get that they are good if your tired and just wanna play the story but they get annoying after awhile. Also tickets take forever to gain back (only downside). ✓ Great “experience” more so than a game.Updated: The devs appear to have worked out the issue so I have updated my score back to original 4 stars. As a buyer of the original game, the below is true about the first story that is now for free for everyone. I was initially irritated after the last update as it broke the game for me. The second episode now works properly so I will be playing through that shortly. I don’t expect it to be very long either but if the below review is any indication of the quality then it should be good. Original review of the first episode: So the game is short. Period. No shying away from that fact. With that said, unlike a lot of other players I found some solid meaning of relationship and fear relating to day to day life here. The idea of being so wrapped up with life that you forget family and meaningful relationships really resonated with me as up until recently, I was a lot like the main character (minus the supernatural dream business). If you can get past the short length and linear story which is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5, this game is great. Awesome graphics with a really great style in both the visuals and soundtrack. I really enjoyed this story and what the devs were looking to portray. Really hit home with me and gave me a feeling of joy for the people that I have lost in my life recently and for those that I have let slip into the ether. ✓ Great Game With One ProblemThis is an amazing game and I definitely recommend getting it. It has amazing stories, stunning visuals and great sounds. Although it’s great, there is one thing holding it back. After every little segment of the story, you need to pay for tickets or wait an hour. ✓ Amazing and Breathtaking!I was just writing this review and I accidentally click cancel, so I won’t write much. This app is amazing and breathtaking! Each story has meaning and I completed 3! I just noticed this app this year and I also noticed that the last update was a year ago. I don’t know what happened to the app, but most reviews here are old. For the cost of tickets needed to respawn after you die, it’s not like that anymore. My tickets won’t refill and I don’t know if it is supposed to be like that, but I have to watch an ad every time I read the next part, which is not a big deal. I love the music and the first book was really scary. The second was not so scary, so it calmed me down. The third one was not scary at all and I can relax while reading it. I want more stories and I’m wondering what happened to the developers. Well, I’m going to start the 4th book and this is my favorite story app so far. Full of puzzles and mystery! Edit: I just realized you get 4 free stories and for the tickets, you have to wait an hour and watch an ad for. My experience was amazing and if I buy the Gold Membership, accessed by clicking the plus button next to tickets and scroll your way down, you will get new stories each month, plus unlimited tickets for $2.99. Personally, I am a fan of mysteries and cool sci-fi and fantasy adventures, and if you are the same, you should definitely get The Radiant One! I would recommend this to anybody that likes that kind of thing! And there have been no purchases you HAVE to make yet! Really, there is only one flaw: the fact that you run out of tickets so easily. You have to wait a while before getting them again, which is the only irritating thing I can think of. Maybe the creator can fix that!( if you do read this, Creator, than please try to update and fix that!)
