I have stopped playing now and am feeling a great loss. I have realized that once I reach 'Level 10', CHOICES will have ended, my Mechs AND weapons are perfected and my ability to utilize them will be lousy based upon the restrictions of artificial interface control disadvantages. My hand-eye coordination (dexterity), choices of Mechs AND weapons and the "luck" of battle will be nearly predetermined. ✓ A Wonderful FPP/TPP Mech ShooterThis has been the first time that I’ve really been motivated to write a review for a game, but I think it’s necessary. This app provides a fantastic blend of quick action with strategic point-capture. In my humble opinion the AI need a slight nerf, as their aim is perfect 100% of the time. As I enjoy using light robots and running around my opponent, I find this frustrating. The only other thing I find frustrating is the unguided rockets having full aim support. Due to the fact they have a slow traverse speed, they are ineffective on moving targets. A change I would recommend to this would be vertical aim support only. However, I will say that these are a drawback to an otherwise fantastic game! I could see this app going on for years to come. My thanks to the Dev crew on keeping this thing up and running and to the ever-growing player base that has helped me understand and grow in this game!.Version: 1.4.11

✓ Promising Robot war gameHaving played Pixonic War Robots for over 2 years, it is now time to look for an alternative due to the extreme greed of Pixonic. Mech Battle looks and feels like War Robots did in its infancy and this is a good thing. Let’s hope content keeps being added and the developers look after the average gamer rather than the mega whales. My only criticism is that as I am red/green colourblind, the beacon colours are quite similar. It would be better if you make the green more green not lime green or turn the opposition to red. ✓ Fun game!I have been enjoying this game this last month. Been playing since the beginning and it has constantly been updated and improved by its developer. I hope to see it continually improve.. biggest issue right now is I’m over level 20 and will only match me with other players over lv20. I’m fine with that if it would actually match me. When I have time to play, instead of playing I am sitting and watching a loading screen and never get matched. This game is straight forward, earn in game currency and buy things I’m happy to buy Platinum and Energy Cells because they haven’t gone the way other mech games have with buying blueprints, etc. (I’ve deleted a lot of games or simply stopped playing them for that reason). ✓ Finally the perfect Robot game made right!I have been playing War Robots for 5 years. I cursed at all of their developers every time I played. I had to keep playing only because it was available robot game available. They made everything so wrong, like the robot would block your view, the weapons kept switching onto wrong targets. People quit the game before it starts and won’t get penalized, and you can’t zoom in when you use a sniper weapon. Now this game Mech Battle has done everything correctly!!! ✓ This Is The Best OneAfter playing multiple build your robots player vs player type games, I’ve come back to Mech Battle without any hesitation or regret. 4v4 is the right number for exciting gameplay. The platform itself runs very smoothly even with questionable data connections. The build costs, time vs reward, and game power balance are all better than the others. The build options themselves are just right; less complex and painstaking compared to games like War Robots, where the builds get so complex and expensive that “pay to win” becomes a huge factor. The Only annoyances that I have:1, blown up robots should not hinder you from getting a power cell. When the robot enemy blows up, the parts of the dead bot are annoyingly blocking the power cells. 2, you should be able to look up and down. Not necessary at all for the way the game plays it would just make it feel... better, I think? Not a hinderance, just kind of weird. Great game though. Just more fun than war robots. ✓ Huge potential and fun gritty gameplayI’m a War Robots veteran that’s left the fold. Too much greed and now it’s just too complicated anyway. You used to know what you were up against now there is too much flexibility for those to upgrade their pay to win bots. On to Mech... Nowhere near as polished in the game play graphics as WR but it has a load of potential and what it lacks in polish - it needs better detail in the arenas, the frame rate seems wrong, the bots are a bit toy botty in the way they walk etc - this game makes up for in gnarly gameplay and gritty battles. Only played it for one day but will be giving it a bit of time to see if it’s a keeper. Keep up the good work developers. Oh and don’t believe the WR plants reviewing this and saying that you have to pay to have a good game. I think these developers have learnt from the huge mistake that is Pixonic. ✓ War robots killer???I am an OG war robots player, I joined just when the game was in its early stages, but as of recently with the extreme pay to win gameplay of war robots I had to find a new game that didn’t involve having to pay hundreds of dollars just to get a new robot or weapon. I have been playing this game for a few days and have gotten myself a decent bot, I love how you can actually grind for things in this game instead of being forced to pay just to get a decent bot. It is super sensitive, and there is also no lock on, which makes it very annoying when you have large groups of enemies and you target someone you don't want to hit. This is especially bad when you are on higher elevation than your enemy, and you can barely hit it. The AI bots are a little simplistic, but they provide good cannon fodder whilst you’re brawling other players. That being said, they AI will still pound you. ✓ Breath of fresh air.As a lot of other players probably have done, I have migrated from War Robots. This game reminds me of Walking War Robot which is what made that game so successful. It also has a better pace than Battle of Titans. I am a fan of both but this game surprised me and is currently the Mech game of choice as of right now. The selection of bots is great. There is just enough weapon variance to keep things interesting. The maps are relatively good for both close and long range combat. The pace of the matches is relatively quick (less than 10 min) which is nice because you can get several matches done in a short amount of time. I hope the devs observe the backlash that has been consistent in the War Robot community for quite a while, and listen to their fan base. This games graphics and gameplay are good but not as refined as the other two games listed above. Listening to the players is the only way to surpass either. Overall, very fun game!.Version: 1.3.5
✓ Best New Robot War GameFirst, frustrating to play Pixonic War Robots with every update a money grab. Second, these mechs are faster, powerful and more fun out of the box. Third, discord can be used for chat and voice. Fourth, just try it... you will see. The hangar is easy to understand. The upgrades are straight forward. The control interface (hud) is super easy for smooth play. The graphics could be (will eventually be) better, but I have played other robot battle games who's graphics are much worse. ✓ Great gameThis is my new favorite war bot game. Love that the loot boxes show your percentage chances at loot. I also love that the developer responds and fixes bugs promptly. Some suggestions: The move control needs to respond without dragging on it, because if you miss just a little you don’t move. The missiles could have their splash damage either be stopped by walls or shrunk considerably. The weapon comparison screen could list the same size weapons next to each other for easier comparison. Sometimes the medium weapons seem to be worse than the light version - are they? It would be very helpful if you could completely unequip gear, leaving a blank spot on your mech. Some of the effects could be bigger or clearer because I often can’t tell if I’m hitting or not..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Good Mech game!I have a lot of fun playing this game. It now has a good weekly ranking system which is fun and battles can get intense. My only small complaint is there are too many small annoying things on the ground you can’t see that you can walk into, and you can climb 90% up a hill, but often can’t get to the top which gets frustrating when you trying to get somewhere. Also there needs to be some way to use your missiles in enclosed spaces, as they just fly into the roof instead of hitting your target, so there should be a mode to fire them straight, but other than it’s good and I’m looking forward to further updates..Version: 3.0.0
✓ Better than War RobotsI honestly think this game is good and possibly better than War Robots because of the fact that its easy to understand the game and what information the game tells us for the descriptions of guns and Mechs, very good user interface and very fun mechanics of all the weapons and mechs. Only downside is that it isn’t getting updates anymore and gameplay gets to a certain point where there isn’t enough mechs variety for mounting unique armament combination that has great synergy with the specific mech. ✓ Tiny screen, BIG HANDS!!Hey, this game is great. Love the layout, the mechanics and the upgrade system. Plenty of options for loadouts and tactical gameplay. You are quite generous in terms of plat/gold for match rewards; with a little bit of farming and an ounce of skill the player can earn fast. The ad placements are perfect; they’re only there to make us play the game MORE and level up FASTER instead of BOMBARDING us and WASTING our time. You guys have done a spectacular job on the overall build and gameplay. My two grudges are against the random quickplay matches (where my low lvl self gets stomped 6 matches in a row before another mode is selected) and the MAJOR ISSUE against the tiny UI that I can neither calibrate nor resize. I play on a 5S (small screen) and have fairly large manhands so it makes for trouble when I’m trying to fire my Towmak off the left shoulder and end up launching it, a burst of Justice and a laser blast cuz the button is tiny and my huge thumb missed and pressed the main fire control. I’d like to select my PvP mode, but enlarge the control interface and you’ll have a well-earned 5-star rating..Version: 4.1.4

✓ Goodbye Walking War RobotsMech battle is still a game in it’s infancy but it is what War Robots used to be when it first started. You play and earn your way up. You can spend real money to buy and upgrade faster but that is not required to be competitive. There are watchable in app Ads which can lower upgrade times. I have only been playing a week and am at level 14 so i cannot comment on the balance of play at the higher levels. Hopefully the developers will keep this current ecosystem. ✓ War Robots replacementI’m an ex War Robots player. I’m so done with Pixonic. Mech Battle is what War Robots should have been. Battles are intense, the game is challenging without having a screwed over economy, and you can upgrade more than one thing at once. All weapons have a 100m range which at first might sound pretty boring until you realize that no one will be obliterating you in 2 shots from the other side of the map (looking at you WR). There’s a pretty good selection of different bots and weapons. Battle rewards are substantial, it’s pretty easy to get resources to upgrade easily. The devs have recently added back abilities to bots that had been taken away before, good job devs! The developers also work pretty closely with the community, and a lot more so than Pixonic does with its player base. More maps have been added recently, and the last review I had for this game, the graphics were worse. Fortunately the devs have been continuously improving the visuals. The only real complaint I have is that all the bots are more or less the same default color. Overall, great game with a lot of potential but some issues. Don’t ruin this game please..Version: 2.5.5

✓ Misleading description leads to disappointmentThe game description suggests that you can build custom Mech configurations, but actually the mechs are stuck with the weapons they first came with, and you can’t even choose which weapons to upgrade. It told me I unlocked a new Plasma weapon but I can’t actually get one or equip my Mech with it. I was expecting a lot more so now I am very disappointed. Had the game description been more accurate then I might have quite liked this game. Revising my review from 2* to 5* because after you purchase a second Mech it is possible to select either of them and customize the configuration. Not a great start, but finally it’s a great game and lots of fun to play..Version: 3.2.1

✓ Amazing gameI’ve played a lot of mech games (wr, rw, bot, etc) and this has got to be one of my favorites. The game has a variety of bots and weapons to choose from, in which many can be easily obtained. The big plus is that this game is based purely on skill and not on the size of the wallet. Graphics aren’t the best, but they are far from the worst. One thing that takes time to get used to is the lock-on, which gets lost if you move just a little (if this could be changed, the experience would be much better for newer players). All in all, I’m really glad the devs of this game care about their players’ experience in the game..Version: 2.3.1
✓ WWR Meat ForkOG WWR player here. Left WWR due to Pixonics greed and 40 ever changing monetary systems. Enough about that.... This version of the platform has really started out with most of the features I was looking for. Gameplay is fantastic, graphics, bots, weapons and maps all seem to get regular updates. Premium is almost worth it. (Recently nerfed the silver). But dev’s need funds. I like that silver seems to set the pace of advancement. Keeping most people “grinding” even if they’re spending money. Team play is great and will only get better in the future as more people join. Fighting the AI isn’t the best, but that will improve over time (also recently updated. Awesome). I’ve already seen a big improvement in the month I’ve been online. Great Job so Far Dinnjin. Keep it up. Lastly, you can actually win stuff. Most of the best stuff I have I won by collecting digital souls (energy cells) and trading them for a chance to win stuff. I rarely won anything in WWR. Really happy -Meat Fork Reborn.Version: 2.0.2

It is 5 star worthy if only for a small thing that make be coincidence. After the update that messed with matchmaking, I noticed that I have been matched with Rank 10 users more often which I lose against due to their weapons and the fact I am Rank 7. ✓ High potential, hope it lasts.Like many, I keep hitting the War Robots app symbol for another blast, but find myself repeatedly hacked off and dissatisfied with the developers for being snide money grabbers. There’s no doubt War Robots is visually stunning and playable, but the pay-to-win greediness leaves a bitter taste. As an 80’s 8bit gamer, it wasn’t really about the looks, it was about playability and being able to progress. Mech Battle handles this simple ask very well. I’m really looking forward to seeing the game develop. And fingers crossed it doesn’t go down the cash cow route of War Robots. Nice work developer guys and gals, I’m thoroughly enjoying getting blown up by equivalent bots because I wasn’t good enough rather than fighting a player who spent $100 on mechs or upgrades. ✓ I want to give it 5 stars......but I can’t. This is a nice game and has great potential. Sadly there are missteps that create issues. There is a prominent display of “contact us, we listen” with no in-game way of contacting the company. I have looked extensively with no luck. Searching for a clan is near impossible if you don’t have the exact clan tag you want to find. A targeting reticle would be nice or some type of brackets to show where you need to be to in order to shoot an enemy. Targeting while in jump is poor, current targeting systems in today’s military works better and this game is supposed to take place in the future. Graphics are extremely blocky. ✓ Just what I have been missingMech Battle is reminiscent of the early days of WR when it was still WWR. If you want to be a wallet warrior you can, but there is not a single mech or weapon in this game that cannot be purchased by playing and earning the resources to purchase it. If you want to be impatient, fine. Break out the wallet. If you want to play for free, fine. You can become a dominant player without ever spending a dime. BEST feature is you can watch videos by 25 minutes to shorten weapon and mech upgrade times. ✓ Fun game, great serviceRelatively new to the game, but not gaming. A few mechanics I feel could be improved such as spawning locations and better tutorial explanations. Otherwise, a lot of fun to play. That being said, total 5 stars for the awesome in-game support. While having a problem upgrading a Mech (aforementioned tutorial conflict), I reached out in global chat for help. Many of the chat community immediately replied to assist, and then within minutes Dev. Robert was on helping me out. The prompt and efficient “digital” hands-on service was fantastic. He quickly identified the issue and resolved my problem. I see a lot of comments complimenting the devs for their attention and responses to player requests and feedback, and I can attest to their excellence in this. The developer has done a great job and I’ve already purchased with real money to support them. I would like to see more maps, and more focus on lithium medium/heavy mechs instead of expensive platinum mechs to avoid that pay to win like everyone else. Also, please implement heavier punishments for teammates who walk around and didn’t fire a single shot the whole battle. I recently bought 3 ultimate boxes (costing a Hefty 150 energy box each) and all 3 ultimate boxes gave me absolutely nothing, so that needs fixing, the chances to get anything are way too low for the cost..Version: 4.0.7
✓ Very Fun, Couple of Issues(UpdateD). Overall, this is a great game. Fun. Entertaining. Great graphics. Free. You do have the opportunity to spend money to purchase goodies (new mechs, new weapons, etc.), and as a nod to the developers, I did so. I don’t mind people making an honest dollar off of their effort, and this developer deserves a payday. They are responsive and updates come rapid fire. Spawning mechanic is suckish. You can be in a heated battle with one or more opposing mechs and an AI mech will invariably spawn directly behind you, putting you and in the crossfire and scrapping your mech. This doesn’t seem to be a glitch but rather is a feature, intentionally put there by the developer, since it happens multiple times in every match. Lesson: watch your back. Early stages are fun. Matchmaking is mostly fair (level 1 players don’t take the field against level 20+), and you CAN play with no cost. Download it and enjoy blasting other players to pinwheeling chunks of debris. Spend a few bucks for goodies (in support of the developers). Just watch your back…the AIs will be spawning on your 6…constantly..Version: 2.1.4

Love the game thoIn last Mech standing it’s annoying when you just spawned and you’re engaged with one Mech and then you spawn another enemy in the same location seconds later. I’ve even had someone’s Mech spawn 1 second after mine and his Mech landed on top of my cause I didn’t even have time to move yet. Other than that the game is pretty good. The issuesWell for starters (who may be thinking of downloading the game)the controls and the tutorial are very very simple and easy to learn the mechs are fitting to each rank you go through one of the only downsides is the higher rank mechs COST ALOT (not real money btw) for example I’m on rank 15 and on rank 16 you gut a lot of stuff including getting the atlas the best Mech in the game(in my opinion) it costs 5000 platinum witch is way to much and the ultimate crate isn’t that reliable. So I’ve been saving my platinum for over 2 months since rank 13 and I only have around 3000 so it’s almost making you pay for platinum with real money so developers if you could lower the price of higher ranking mechs just a little (especially the ones that cost platinum) that would be great still 5 stars though.Version: 4.1.6
✓ Good gameAlthough this is repetitive like other mech fighting game, it’s not as boring. Although it does get very expensive leveling up the mech and weapons but I can see why. Basically they want you too be a VIP member which gives you better reward. But I am patient and could care less if lose a battle or not, of course I prefer to win. Really my only suggestion is that when you are upgrading a mech or a weapon...the cost of gold to instantly upgrade should decrease the more hours you wait. Say if it cost 60 gold to upgrade a mech instantly that would normally take 4 hrs, if the upgrade is already on it’s 3rd hour, then the cost of gold should also cost a third less meaning it should only cost 15 gold instead of 60 to speed up the upgrade. ✓ Move over War RobotsI have played War Robots for quite awhile and having now played this for a spell would definitely recommend Mech Battle! Graphics are amazing and game play quite realistic. Purchases are reasonably priced and there feels like lots of room to develop and grow. To the developers, please make this game about the play NOT the pay. Greed, in my opinion killed War Robots and made it a stupid wealthy persons game! Give this game a try it’s worth it. I play on an iPad 7th Gen with no issues so far..Version: 4.1.5
